Bonus Scene. Sharon was being really nice. Lacey was being a twunt and I'd have had enough way before "new pants."

Yes!  At first, I thought it was the Gadsden flag snake, but then it looked to be a cupcake with a swirl of icing.

Since Lacey started or maybe finished college, she should update whatever she studied, or maybe add some courses.   Online college exists and she should do it.    I'm betting she'll go back to feeding online again.   

There are so many remote jobs now, that she could work from her living room, and those jobs don't include feeder porn shows.

There were two small children seated on the sofa and I was afraid that Lacey was going to sit on them before Ricky screamed for them to move.

Lacey was lying like most contestants do, but Sharon was also a very toxic person to everybody.

(TLC is rerunning this again). I don't agree with how Sharon said it, but Lacey lied about everything, and still thought Sharon and Rickey would put up with her.   I wish Sharon had found out what a liar Lacey was, and what a user she was, before everything was loaded up in that poor U-Haul trailer and hauled to Texas.    I still have to laugh when the great breakup at the gas station happened, and all of the cereal fell out of the trailer.  

So, Michelle (the church lady who helped her) didn't last long, and drove Lacey back to Washington.  She was picking up her husband and kids in Washington, so she dropped Lacey off in Washington on the way to picking up her family.     I have to laugh at Lacey saying she lost the Houston apartment.  It was obvious when the apartment complex office called Ricky, who was financing everything.

I know Soap Dirt is a tabloid, but they claim that Lacey B. is marrying a convicted felon.   This article is from December 2022.

I've never heard of anyone gaining weight after having major dental surgery, this is a first for me.

Perhaps she over-indulged in caloric milkshakes and smoothies.  When I had teeth pulled for dentures, adjusting to them, the main item in my diet was scrambled eggs.  I was pleased to lose 10 pounds during that time period.

As much as I can understand Ricky's sister's POV, she was a nasty piece of work and I can't believe they dumped her like that. I was surprised that Lacey even had the means to pay for a motel/hotel. I also can't believe they included the "Ooops, I Crapped My Pants" scene. Ugh.

I LOL'ed when Lacey showed up to Dr. Now's post-breakup and he asked what happened and she said, "A Series Of Unfortunate Events."

Like a lot of these extremely obese people, Lacey is very delusional. But I'm glad she didn't end up homeless.

I saw the other Lacey, so I wondered about Lacey B, and where everyone is now.

Apparently Ricky married someone else, and I wish them every happiness.

Lacey was supposed to marry a convicted felon, with multiple arrests, and stalking convictions.   I wonder if that happened?   

 

I doubt a camera person was actually in the car on the epic trip to Texas with the rental moving trailer (the poor company has had plenty of air time in this episode, and nothing was their fault).   I bet there is a following vehicle with the camera people in it, and tiny little cameras in the car with Lacey, Ricky and Sharon.   I think the live camera with an operator is only at the motels, and any time they stop.

I'm shocked, Sharon, Ricky's sister died in August, apparently of pneumonia.   My sympathies to her friends and loved ones.

The Lacey with boyfriend Ricky and sister Sharon (R.I.P. Sharon), is rerunning on Discovery Life.     

I'm up to the epic screaming trip to Houston where Lacey gets put ot at the gas station after Sharon finds out Lacey lied about everything.   The oat cereal pouring out of the U-Haul is certainly memorable.

The Lacey & Nicole from Ohio episodes, no matter how many times I see them, are birthday gifts to me.  

When I form a band I just might name it in honor of Nicole's gang & call it "Bunch of Bastards".

What's there not to like.  Choose from the porch shower, the living room meatloaf, Charlie the Mouth Breather, the rolling bed in the hotel room, the drug bust, dumping Lacey in the middle of nowhere, the cereal falling out of the moving truck.  These two episodes are like a Where's Waldo picture.  There is just so much to see.

Halfway through this one.  I feel like I'm watching two people who demonstrate the textbook definition of the term "dimwit".  Rickey and Lacey seem like nice people, but they seem so flipping stupid.  Why are they moving to Houston when Lacey has not met any of Doctor Now's weight loss goals?  He told them not to do that.  They're not the first nincompoops to do that. 

When Lacey said "I'm not eating as much pizza as I used to", I screamed "you're not supposed to eat any pizza you idiot!"

That fierce argument in the car was hard to watch.  Sharon has a hell of a temper and you can tell is fiercely protective of Ricky.  I can't figure out how that escalated so quickly.  It feels like there's a bunch of unaired backstory that would have been important.  I can't believe they just dumped Lacey in the middle of nowhere.  That's a low blow.  I liked Dr Now's analysis that Lacey makes rash, destructive decisions.

Same here.  Lacey is pretty messed up in the head, and not very bright, but she didn't deserve to be thrown out like a bag of trash.  I'm glad she ended up on her feet and not homeless in Texas.

I bet there was a lot more information that came out during the car ride.   Lacey lied about everything, and used Sharon and Ricky for her own reasons.  Notice that the apartment office called Ricky about the apartment?   Not Lacey?  SO it was in his name, and apparently on his dime.   Lacey lied about following the diet, didn't tell Sharon about missing at least two appointments, and I bet didn't mention Ricky was financing everything.   

They gave Lacey the option of going with them to Houseon, but she didn't want to, and called the police instead.   Lacey is a user, and always will be.   I don't think she'll ever follow through on anything.

I just can't get a good head of steam, or experience any schadenfreude. about Lacey the way I could about, say James King or Lashanta, because 1) she seemed too stupid to be conniving and 2) Sharon was such a raging, hot blooded meanie.

I don't get why Dr. Now would want anyone to come to Houston for anything but the first appointment and the surgery.  There are doctors all over the country; you don't need to travel so far just to get your weight checked.  I know he often tells people to go to local clinics (and he did this with Lacey) but he seems spotty about that.  Sometimes you'll get someone hauling ass all the way from Ohio just to get a follow up appointment.  I guess this is more of a gripe with the show in general than this specific episode.

My understanding is the first appointment includes the screening to see if the person is competent to consent to the program and surgery, medical screening, getting their records transferred to Dr. Now's office, meetings with nutritionists or dieticians.    It's not just the office appointment we're shown.    

Lacey decided on her own to move to Houston.
