I read that article earlier and he was saying that he *couldn't* confirm it.  That that was the original plan, but that it kept growing.  It's going around on Twitter like he said this is the end, but I didn't see anything in the interview that made it official.

The publication edited the original text from the last question.

Emmy noms are in.   Of course Jason, Brett, Nick, Hannah and Juno are nominated.   Also nominated:   Sam, the Doc, Trent Crimm, the Independent, Edwin (Sam’s benefactor) and Rebecca’s mom Deborah (the last three as guest stars).   Twenty noms in total

Yay! Though I was hoping Phil Dunster would get a nomination this year.

Yeah, bummer he was left out.  He did some great work this season.

Surprised that it wasn't nominated for Best Comedy. Any writing noms?

It was nominated for 20 Emile’s including Comedy.  I just posted some of the acting ones.

And I also thought Phil would get nommed.

Phil definitely deserved a nomination.

As much as I love James Lance I am very surprised by his nomination. Surely his submission had to be the car park scene in "Inverting the Pyramid of Success" and, while rewarding for fans, I don't think it showed any acting prowess. Sam Richardson's nomination in the same category was deserving.

Yes, one -

Outstanding Writing For a Comedy Series

Jane Becker

In season one, she wrote Trent Crimm: The Independent; and this season, No Weddings and a Funeral.

Apropo of nothing, Ronaldo is reminding me a bit of Jamie Tartt, pre-redemption in this World Cup.

He's always been the same & there will never be a redemption for the most childish, selfish & worst bad loser in world football ever.

That's a disservice to Jamie Tartt.  Ronaldo is the original selfish, whiny, petulant, narcissistic crybaby.  I would not at all be surprised to learn that the director told Phil Dunster to "do a Ronaldo", and anyone who has ever watched Ronaldo would instantly know what that means.

Brett Goldstein will be on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert tomorrow night (Wednesday).

His new show Shrinking premieres on the 27th, so he is probably pimping that. (EW gave it a B+)

Yeah, I know, and I'm sure that's why he's there.  What I've seen of the show looks good enough to check out.  But hopefully at least some mention of Ted Lasso.

Colbert asked Brett about when Ted Lasso was premiering, saying “spring” was too vague, and if it was really the last season, but Brett avoided answering.   He also told an anecdote about how he revealed to his parents he was Hercules (convincing them to see the Thor movie) and told a funny story about how the6 landed Harrison Ford for Shrinking.

Jason Sudeikis Says ‘Ted Lasso’ Season 3 “Is The End Of This Story We Wanted To Tell,” Addresses Potential Spinoffs

“This is the end of this story that we wanted to tell, that we were hoping to tell, that we loved to tell. The fact that folks will want more and are curious beyond more than what they don’t even know yet—that being Season 3—it’s flattering. Maybe by May 31, once all 12 episodes of the season [have been released], they’re like, ‘Man, you know what, we get it, we’re fine. We don’t need anymore, we got it.’ But until that time comes, I will appreciate the curiosity beyond what we’ve come up with so far.”
