Did you catch her saying she wanted a house? Girl, you just moved in to this apartment a minute ago!  She's the type that will never be happy with anything, no matter what she has. She is devoid of any personality or happiness. A cold fish. Another one I can't stand.

A house is a bit down the line. The two of them can barely afford an apartment. The house requires a down payment, the job that can pay the mortgage, taxes, bills, food, car payments, insurance, etc. She may need to get a metal detector to find cash on the farm. She may need to look for an older dude with dough.

The big badonkas of Kalani and Tiffany are "emerging" (bad pun!) as their own 'characters.'  Twin Peaks and Big Kahunas (stage names) are taking on a life of their own, and I expect to see them at the 'TELL-ALL.'

My only concern about the Mike/Natalie breakup is what's going to happen to Natalie's pet rat?  That's how invested I am in those two . I care more about a rat than either of them.

I don't think Natalie will leave. She doesn't have to work and has the place to herself almost all the time. She does have to put up with him, but a lot of wives put up with a lot more for a lot less.

She won't leave Mike unless she finds a better man, which may be tricky. Look what happened to Fernanda. She thought she'd be all big time in Chicago, ended up getting dumped by a douche cokehead, and is now dating her stoner roommate.

IMO, Natalie isn't going anywhere. She's got it too good (in that she doesn't have to worry about money, which is a pretty big deal), and that's IMO, exactly why Mike's mom hates her. She's jealous.

I divorced my husband because I hated him and knew I could do better. I ended up living in poverty for years, jaded, and dating in your 30s is total hell. It sucked.

I can understand why Ronald is not feeling comfortable cleaning his daughter’s behind after she pooped. He has ZERO experience raising little children and not seeing girl’s private parts before. His daughter is around one year old and I’m totally getting what he’s trying to explain to Tiffany and his uncle. But she is too dumb to understand…

PS I think her son takes care of her daughter more than she does.

Seems to me the baby's father should be more comfortable cleaning her private parts than the baby's brother.

Let’s not forget those outfits.  The time they were at a table outside she looked like she was wearing a tapestry from one of those Peruvian restaurants where they play pan flute music and today it was some elven blue monstrosity.

One gift was a TV; so basically a gift for himself. Natalie called his bluff by taking HER gift with her LOL.

TLC tweeted during the show that she also took all the food with her. Judging by the much-touted, but depressing Thanksgiving spread, the Christmas food was probably sandwiches with the crust cut off and pickles.

OK so....going to jump right in.....

Mike/Natalie----what mess. Unless someone on here can jump in and tell me its cultural, that friend of hers was touching her WAY too much for "just friends". Way too much. I have friends I consider family, sisters, who have been in my life over half my life and we do not stroke each others hands and cuddle in bed and say things like "you will always have me." I don't have permanent rooms in their homes. I think the woman is into Natalie, Natalie meanwhile is probably lonely and depressed and confused as to what she wants or how to handle her new marriage. I think people forget if the foreign fiance speaks English that they still are in a brand new country, brand new culture and customs----the US is not what is portrayed on tv. So I get that she had some culture shock being dropped in a trailer in Sequim. Mike never wants to really talk. When she does try to talk he gets up and walks away, even going so far as to pack up his shit at the hotel on his birthday and walk out the door. If they truly do love each other, they need to shut off the TLC cameras, not vent their dirty laundry to Trish and Headband lady, and get some real counseling. I think Julia is probably filling Nat's head with ideas of a more glamorous life in Seattle and that men will be fighting over her. Reality will be much more harsh.

Asuelo----that was a shit move to give her the blanket in front of the family. I want to think they were all in on it but Kalani, but I don't know that I believe Asuelo coudl pull off memorizing lines. I do believe his mom and Tammy are really that trashy and dysfunctional---I am sorry Kalani's dad wasn't there to step in, it seemed like he was taking care of one of the boys (the youngest). And Tammy, he will have no issue finding a wife in Samoa, really? Really? If I were Kalani I would say then fucking go. Just go. Asuelo should have clued them in that the house is a prop and no way two unemployed people qualified for that mortgage let alone pay it and filled it with furniture and food.

Jovi---what an asshat. I feel bad for Yara but also happy that she stands up for herself and tells him exactly wht she feels. He deserved that slap. Once he saw his wife was uncomfortable he should have left. And asked what she wanted to do....I love that Gwen isn't taking his side, and also calls him out, but I think he needs to hear it from a man. Did she tolerate that crap from his stepdad??? How does he think this is OK. He has been gone for months, he should be all over that baby girl and Yara, not blowing kisses to a stripper on his vacation getaway with said wife.

Ronald/Tiffany---Tiff is another one who somehow believes her own fan hype online and thinks she is this amazing catch and partner who is a blessing. No. She has issues too and he was right to call her out on all of it.

Hubby did his share of childcare when my boys were little, but he literally would dry heave uncontrollably when faced with poop. It continues to be a family joke. If Ronald does other toddler care, he gets a pass from me. Agree the Daniel does too much Carly care.

I muted a lot of it and read the close captioning as I can't take any of the voices.  "MIKE-UHL!  YOU GOT PORN IN THERE?"  Followed by her cackle.

Boo Boo Butt Butt gave a totally inappropriate gift to Kalani then proceeded to engage in an even more inappropriate conversation in front of everyone.

I am waiting for Natalie and her She-Ra "friend" to make out at any minute.

My ears bleed at the Poddhast Bad Acting Showcase.

Jovi:  "So were you pretending to be fun all these times?"  No Jovi, you were seeing vacation Yara.  We are all super chill on vacation then we come home.  We then go to work, clean the house, pay bills, cook and clean.  Even though those two are all an act (allegedly) just the whole vibe of him complaining about her, her complaining/whining that it is SO HARD TO TAKE CARE OF AN IMMOBILE BABY, JOVI! just gets on my nerves.

Mike is a champ for having been able to get it up at all, let alone ejaculate into the cup, given that he had to listen to Angela's God awful, ear-splitting cackle the entire time.

It appears that assholey, a/k/a "Boo Boo Butt Butt" has learned the proper formula for reality TV:  Stir the pot and then come to the defense of the person you've stirred the pot on.  One minute he's giving Kalani a completely inappropriate gift, and doing it in front of his buttinski family members (no pun intended re the "Buttinski" family members and "Boo Boo Butt Butt").  We always discuss how he's probably "slow", but this move on his part shows me that he's not as "slow" as many of us have thus far thought.  This was a very manipulative move on his part, and dare I say ingenious?  What really bugged me about this whole episode was that the only one who jumped to Kalani's defense was Kalini.  Why didn't father Low step in?  If I recall correctly, mother Lisa said something one time, but not as relates to embarrassing Kalani into having more babies to satisfy "Boo Boo Butt Butt's" fantasies.

Natalie and Juliana were completely disgusting to me, and utterly inappropriate.  If either one or both of them is a lesbian, that's just fine and dandy.  That's not why I was disgusted.  Why I was disgusted is because of how deviously the two of them seemed to be plotting against unsuspecting Mike.  Also, what about Juliana's so-called husband, who we've never seen?  That would mean he was played for a dupe as well, unless he's in on it and there's a thruple going on while Natalie lives in her room with them.  Things that make you go hmm.  It's super-fishy to me that Natalie and Juliana met online and within six months' time has become Natalie's only friend - bestie in fact.  What happened to the friend that supposedly introduced Natalie to Mike.  As much as I don't love Mike, I have to say that I found him somewhat endearing and pathetic in the opening segment (unless that was all an act on his part, in which case he's a far better actor than duplicitious, devious, disgusting Natalie).  My heart strings were pulled quite a little bit when he was talking about how he felt and that he cares for Natalie, while nothing is reciprocated on Natalie's part towards him.  She is truly one stone cold bitch.  Mike even countered his mother's opinions about Natalie.  I kind of wish he had taken a firmer stand when discussing Natalie with her, but the fact of the matter is that I do see that Mike is not controlled by Trashy Trish, and is capable of his own thoughts and opinions and desires about Natalie.  I really do hope he gets away from Natalie permanently.  She's the most toxic thing about that relationship hands down.

Now with regards to Jovi, that guy is in vacation mode the entire time that he's home, because of how his job functions, and his not being able to party for the duration of the 2 months he's away from home.  It's unfair for Jovi to expect Yara to be in the same mode all that time, especially since she is also now a new mother.  Sadly, though I truly believe this to be one of the rare couples who love each other for real vs. only for the sake of being on reality TV, they may just be at an impasse in life and no longer suited to being a couple.  Who knows if Yara would have been any different had she not become pregnant.  Perhaps she would have remained the good time party girl that Jovi seems to have fallen in love with.  But I honestly don't think that she would have.  She may even have tried to become pregnant on purpose just so that she wouldn't have to always be on and partying with Jovi any longer.  She seems to have taken to being a new mama extremely well and sincerely, and I do believe that is who she is and always was beneath her former party girl exterior.  I am still loving Mrs. Gwen.  She is seriously the best mother-in-law in the world that anyone could ever hope to have.  Amazingly, a mother who doesn't believe that the sun and moon rise and set because of her son.  Yara is so, so lucky in that regard.

Re Brandon and Julia.  I've come to hate, hate, hate them both.  Brandon remains a ferret faced, mama's boy weasel who does not have Julia's back in front of his rude friend (that girl, not the two other guys), and Julia's a pain in the ass, immature diva, with her storming off every time they are around friends of his.  And she and her plans to have a baby without giving two figs about what ferret boy has to say about it is as BS as it gets.  No wonder this little trollop doesn't want to be on birth control in any form or shape whatsoever.  I didn't love them on their original season, but I didn't hate them back then either.  Now I can't stand them both.

Mike’s mother is an ass. Instead of helping him, she makes things worse by bashing Natalie to Mike. Instead of saying, “You 2 need to communicate better if you want to resolve issues,” she just adds fuel to the fire. What kind of mother is she?  They’re already married. Help your son be a better husband.

The weirdest thing is, and unless I'm misremembering, but I could have sworn on their season when Natalie got approved for her visa and had flown to the U.S. and was living with Mike that when Trish came for a visit she had been behaving and speaking neutrally about Natalie (while admitting in her confessionals only and not to Mike how she didn't think Natalie was the right person for Mike).  Can someone please correct me if I am mistaken?  Thanks.

I despise Tiffany.  She doesn’t want Ronald to succeed because it will prove her wrong.  So sick of her hearing that she does everything herself.  I don’t know what kind of job she purports to have but it doesn’t bring in enough income that would prevent her from having her father need to co-sign.

Ronald is right - she doesn’t do a damn thing by herself.  Her mother and Daniel do all the work.

Right? She didn't say Listen Natalie I never said that, I never called you a whore. She went in will all I never f****** called you a ***** blankety blank etc lots of swear words in a loud voice- which is lower pitched than Mike's just sayin.

Mrs. Gwen is right, she is a treat on this show I hope she does not let me down. I think Jovi he is an alcoholic, that's the relationship he was, and is still is in, and he may have some genetics working against him-not from his mom's side. It's not cute Jovi, get some treatment and counseling. The strip club was a bad alcohol inspired decision and the blowing of a kiss inspired by more alcohol.

That high-pitched voice of his is just awful, isn't it?  It would be awful on anyone, but especially on a big guy like him.  He sounds like what a eunuch must have sounded like back in ancient times.

Maybe unbeknownst to any of us Angela has a too-tight grip on Mike's balls, confusing Mike with Michael.

Watched the whole episode. If you think last week's was bad then hold onto your hat because, in the words of Mother Chantel, things are about to get a lot stupider...

Juliana gives me the creeps. She comes across as a predator to me. Natalie's better off staying there with Mike.

I think Lo left the room because he didn't want to be a part of filming that shit. I think some of it was staged, but I don't think Tammy was in on the planning.

IDGAF about Family Libby or Brandon/Julia.

Tiffany loves playing martyr. "I was a blessing in this man's life." Girl, sit your ass back down.

Michael must be masochistic. How else was he able to orgasm while listening to Angela cackle and scream?

If I'm rating them on masturbation and ejaculation scenes then I guess I prefer Michael's over Ed's.

I can't get over how arrogant Tiffany is.  I used to side with her more than Ronald, but this season she's completely putting me off of her.  She's nothing more than some dumb beyotch who got knocked up by two different men.  She's so stupid, in fact, that she (allegedly) didn't even know she had been knocked up the first time, and perhaps even dumber when she deliberately allowed herself to get knocked up by the same one and only lying, gambling addict that she's now knocking.  When she married him did she have a savior complex, and think that she would be the cure to all of Ronald's problems?  Now, if nothing else, she's contributing to that lying, gambling addict's problems.  I think the crap she's dishing out is way more than that guy can handle.  Not that I will ever be on his side, especially after next week's upcoming BS by him that they have been teasing since before this season started, of him telling Mrs. Save a Ho to take a hike.  She is insufferable, though.  And I love how the lying addict called her out on never being or doing anything alone because she has her mother right there helping her with everything.  Truer words, my friend.

I don't know if they are just pretending because of the script, but how does his mom and sister NOT know that Ansuelu and Kalani have no money? They have to know that Kalani doesn't work and that her family is paying for everything. Maybe they want a piece of the money Ansuela is making from the show? If I were Kalani or Ansuela, I'd be straight with them. I'd say, "Listen, Kalani is special and very attached to her mother. She isn't able to work away from the house because she will have separation anxiety. I can't hold a job making more than 10 an hour, and Kalani wants me at the house all the time anyway to look after the boys so she she can have a break when her mom takes a break.

All the money we get from 90Day goes into clothes and make-up to make us look presentable, and buy the favors and onsies that we wear to events.

You want money, you need to ask Low. I have no money that I'm authorized to spend.

Exactly.  How effing rude that seemingly the first question when they get inside the house is, "How much did it cost?"  I KNOW in the past it's been told to at least one if not both of them that they are living with Kalani's parents, and they don't own the house, so why was everyone involved acting as if nothing of the sort had ever been said, and that the viewing audience is stupid or amnesiac and must have forgotten that this is known information to Mother money grubber and Sister moneygrubber?

Honestly, even if Assholey and Kalani were rolling in dough, there's still no obligation that they should have to share any of it with his moneygrubbing mother.  Of course, it might be the right thing to do, if she and his father were really in need, but definitely not required if she only wants to donate to the church so that she comes off like a big shot.

Sister moneygrubber can just shut her yap about whatever money is sent to their mother being for her to decide what to do with it.

Absolutely not.  I actually posted almost the identical photos a few episodes back.  I only see this when I see Assholey's head shape.  It's so square and boxy and bottom heavy.  To me he is one of the most physically ugly male cast members.  I almost always want to vomit inside my own mouth when I have to look at him for too long.  As gorgeous as Kalani is, I just don't get what she ever could possibly have physically seen in him that's attractive.  Aside from his physical ugliness, he's boring and simple-minded.  My mother always used to tell me, 'There's a cover for every pot."  I guess she was right.

The one teeny tiny bit of truth in this whole conversation per Horrid Mom:  My late mom would badger me about having a third (if not more) child.  Not all the time, but yes it came up.  I have two sons and if I had to hear "Every woman wants a daughter!" one more time I was going to drink bleach.  Not me!  I was born to be a boy mom.  My then hubby made it VERY clear:  After baby #2 either you are getting tied or I am getting snipped.  And I 100% agreed but would NEVER have said to Mom:  "Yeah, well I really want one but hubby, you know...HE wants to stop.  So let's blame him!"   So the fact that I had a tubal after my c section was like, TOP SECRET, lol.  I know her response:  "WHAAAAAT?  NO MORE GRANDKIDS FOR ME???  WHAT IF ONE DIES?"  (Yes she said that to other moms.)  Thank you for you coming to my Ted Talk.

I have to say I did LOVE when Asuelo called his mom out on how they grew up----that being that she used to give all her $$ to the church, to the pastor and he and his siblings were left to live off rice and taro. So, she is one of THOSE women----more interested in what the community thinks of her than what her own children need. And a bit simple minded too in the sense that she really probably eats up whatever gobbly guck that pastor is serving. Note: I have nothing against religion or donating $ to a church. I do it myself but I guess I have seen way too many Lifetime movies where island communities are preyed on by evil greedy missionaries or pentecostal or mega church types.

Initial thoughts:

Yara, please invest in a strapless bra. The side boob was not flattering. You are a full time mom with a currently part time husband. You are also a wife and your own person. The strip club was disrespectful to you. Not all women enjoy going with their significant others. Jovi did deserve his slap. Maybe he can do some soul searching when he goes back to work.

Julia, get over yourself. You were rude to Brandon’s friends. Find a way to deal with your jealousy issue. There will be many men and women that you will be dealing with in any job you have. Your jealousy is way out of line. There are a lot of people I don’t like but they still get treated with politeness. Grow up.

Natalie your friend is creepy and has no boundaries. And neither do you. Consoling someone is one thing. She was sizing you up for a meal. Beware.

Tiffany, you are not a blessing in Ronald’s life. Both of you may have karma with each other. It is not your job to save him and turn him into the man you want. You knew exactly who and what he was when you married him. Too bad, sunshine.

I am still traumatized at the idea of Ange’s cooch.

Good for Asuelu to finally grow a piece of spine and get the money grubbing relatives out of the house. His baby blanket was a bad idea.

Guess what Family Libby - your dad does not owe you anything. Get your own jobs. Andrei is what he is. He has certainly treated your dad better than you folks.

When it comes to Family Libby, I'm torn in so many different directions.

They ALL take advantage of Chuck.

Chuck ALLOWS them to all take advantage of him.

Andrei is certainly NOT better than any of the others, because he's only treating Chuck a certain way so as to get something out of him - namely the money to start up his own business, and for the time being, a job so that his immigration status doesn't get effed up.  That's certainly NOT an altruistic or better person than anyone else.

I do think that Jen and Rebecca have come up with what might be a brilliant idea.  Pooling their own monies to go in on a house together.

I so have to admit to being surprised by how much Rebecca's husband was seemingly stabbing Andrei in the back after having I thought come to like him on the road trip.

When we first "met" Juliana, Natalie explained she had met her online and that she had come to America from Russia "for her husband's job" but we have seen no evidence of said husband or any other family. Her headbands that appear to be securing her wig, unblinking stare and her "man hands" really creep me out, not to mention her overtly sexual moves towards Natalie. Another poster said that Juliana could be the Wolf to Natalie's Little Red Riding Hood and that's all I can think of now with her licking her chops at the tasty blonde morsel.

I was wondering, "Why?" with the awful headbands constantly.  Thank you for edumacating me, LOL.  That never even occurred to me.  I just thought the woman had an atrocious fashion sense.

I can't find it now, but someone was commenting that Angela's tooth loss might be a result of her WLS. I don't think that's the case since she was hiding "an abscess" behind her Scheherazade veil back during the Tell All before she announced she was going to get the surgery. I think her dental issues have been ongoing and now she's left with little to no back teeth but they try to film her from an angle that minimizes the loss. Someone must have told her her left side is her "good side" because the most flattering shots (with the most intact teeth) seem to be filmed from that angle

When I listen to Angela talk, she always sounds to me like someone who has ill-fitting dentures.

Jovi REALLY needs to take his mom's advice seriously.  She basically lived the single-mom, part-time-dad life that Yara is living.  And he should speak to his dad about what it means to be away for weeks or months and then come home to someone else's routine.  Yara just had a baby five months ago.  She does NOT need her husband drooling over these strippers and their firm bodies.  Jovi needs to understand that.  It's like he works hard while he's away and expects to do nothing but play hard when he's home.  He hasn't had the workaday drudgery that most of us live.  Work, then come home to do chores, do some more on the weekends, then occasionally party.  Nope, he's aaaall about the party.

BINGO!  Jovi has first-hand resources at his disposal with his caring mother and stepfather.  They've literally walked the walk of the life that he and Yara will be living.  Who better to get some sound advice from!

Thanks.

That's how I remember it, too.

There have been many incidents where cast members have stomped off in a huff… I expect production drives them home. Some of the filming  locations can be pretty unsavoury and I’m sure they don’t want law suits.

As I said in the chat thread, Yara should drag idiot hubby to a male strip club and throw money and drool.  See how he likes it.

Tiffany the cold shoulder nag will soon be able to secure a spot on the next season of Dr. Now.  Good grief, she’s got to be eating over four thousand calories a day to maintain that weight.  The eating must be good in SA.

The house flipping coven need acting lessons.

Too many storylines are fake or set up and it’s spoiling things for me.  I wonder sometimes how things really are?  Maybe more interesting?

I had an ex-fiance who was abusive and masochistic.  He was Canadian, and when we flew to Montreal for me to meet his mother (I had already met his dad when he'd flown to the states several months before) a terrifying incident to me occurred.  This was back in 1993 - no cell phones, mind you.  Anyway, he had taken me to downtown Montreal to go shopping.  While down there, we got into a terrible fight, and he walked away from me, abandoning me in the middle of a city where I didn't know anyone, nor did I speak French, which most of the population there spoke.  Furthermore, I didn't even know the address of his parents' house so as to try to get back there.  Unbeknownst to me, as I was at first sitting on a bench and crying, and then wandering around the nearby areas, this mentally abusive ex was getting his ya-yas off watching me from a distance and enjoying my heartache.  I'd say about after an hour of this, just when I was getting desperate and thinking of going to a police station to ask for help, he suddenly appears behind me, asking me how I enjoyed my "independence" from him, and if I didn't want it to happen again I'd keep my opinions to myself from now on.  This is everything that went through my mind when Tiffany stormed off, only in her case it would have been a situation of her making.  It didn't look to me, though, that Ronald was planning on driving off and leaving her there, but I could be wrong.  We won't know how that plays out until next week, if ever.  That was just such a stupid thing for her to do, especially from someone whose reasoning for not wanting to live in South Africa had to do with it being an unsafe place.

I was wondering, "Why?" with the awful headbands constantly.  Thank you for edumacating me, LOL.  That never even occurred to me.  I just thought the woman had an atrocious fashion sense.

well, that too. I admit I wasn't the first to spot a center parted wig anchored by a headband but when another poster mentioned it, that's all I see now, much like Darcey and Stacey. *

edited to add *who also have atrocious fashion sense, IMO

I think if my son had a wife that treated him like Natalie treats Mike and acted the way she did in my house I would be saying some of the same things. Mike is not perfect by any means, but Natalie is crazy.

In the battle between Mike and Natalie of who's the worst, Natalie wins in a landslide.

I thought the same thing!  "Hey you were so worried about it being unsafe.....guess you shouldn't wander off in the dark!"

I don't think it should matter what the gifts were. It was still rude to turn around the next day and give them to other people. If my husband did that I would be pissed, it wouldn't matter if it was a $20 present or a $200 one. Rude is rude.

Mike gets a lot of hate on this forum, but personally I think more should go to Natalie. Everyone says Mike just shrugs his shoulders and refuses to talk, but Natalie does the same thing. She just stares ahead with her creepy stare and doesn't talk. They BOTH go running to their mothers about their problems. They are not good for each other, but Mike isn't 100% to blame. Natalie is psyco.

100% agree, and we're not the only ones.  I was so happy when I found this YouTube Entertainment Tonight video also supporting Mike over Natalie:

.  I'll never understand how anyone finds Natalie at all sympathetic.  She is one of the most unpleasant, sour-looking, bitchy acting people that has ever been on this show.

I have never been sympathetic (although I bended for a minute when he was popping off and his voice went up an octave) but that, my friend, was fleeting.  I still find her selfish, arrogant, and rude to name a few adjectives.  Really, all the people on this show are kinda horrid, save for Ronald's mom.  I don't care for Jovi, Yara or his parents at all.  Remember Stepdaddy slut shaming Yara's clothes waaaay back when?

Jovi- Yara; Brandon-Julia; Mike- Nathalie and Ronald- Tiffany. These four couples are poster children on why I think you shouldn't marry someone you've only known online/ on vacation.

All of these couples have seriously different expectations of their lives together now they are married. And they are finding incompatibilities. This wouldn't happen if they had got to know each other in a more traditional fashion. I think one of the fights between Mike and Natalie was really illuminating when Natalie felt Mike was neglecting her because he was never home. And he responded "I'M AT WORK!". I remember Fernanda and Jonathan had a similar fight.

The K1 visa on top of it seems like a cruel burden to place on couples. They're living together for the first time. One of the couple has to work and the other is stuck at home (with no job, no friends, and sometimes no ability to drive for months on end).

I'm so confused about Mike's job and hours.  In that blowup of a fight when he said Natalie's never home and she accused him of not being home, he responded with his being home by something like 05:30 p.m. every night.  In the postings for a previous episode wasn't it brought up about Mike having to drive/ferry 2 to 2 1/2 hours back and forth to work every day?  He must leave for work extremely early in the mornings in order to be able to put in a full 8-hour working day and still get home by 05:30 p.m. every night.  Just wondering.

It sucked.

I think we lived the same exact life, BravoFan27.  My life went down the toilet both financially and emotionally after my divorce, whereas my ex-husband's lifestyle didn't change one iota.  Unfortunately I had been married to a divorce attorney, so needless to say I got the short end of the stick in our divorce.  I couldn't even find an attorney to represent me and would be willing to go up against him in court.  He tortured and tormented me after we separated until I just gave up and walked away with NOTHING (and I had brought quite a few financial assets to our marriage that I never recouped because he had mentally and emotionally beaten me down so badly that my preference was to just walk away rather than go through any longer on a daily basis the hell he was putting me through).

That a-hole got married within four years of our divorce.

For me it took 11 years being out there in single world hell before I finally found my second, current, and hopefully only other husband.  And it took going online back in 2020-2003 to find him.   Talk about meeting a lot of frogs before I finally found someone (I'm not going to say kissing a lot of frogs, because too many of them were nightmares to even kiss, LOL).  Before doing the online thing I had tried meeting good men through the charity organizations I was active in, through introductions by friends, and even at nightclubs, all to no avail.  A good friend of mine used to joke that unless the food delivery guy and she matched up with each other, she was never going to find love either.

I love blues music and used to regularly go to a couple of blues clubs which I thought would be different than a dance club, in the hopes of finding someone who also wanted a serious relationship vs. one-night stand guys (which I don't do - never have, never would).  MASSIVE FAIL.  I think any clubs you go to at all, dance, blues, jazz, whatever, if you're single and going there you're not going to find a serious relationship.

My online dating experience was during the early days of online dating in the millennium.  I don't know that I would go that route now.  I think it's much scarier than it was back then, and is much more seriously effed up what with social media being attached to it.  What I read about online dating now scares the beJesus out of me, what with sites like Tinder, and the swiping left and right, and competing against women who virtually bare it all on their profile pages.

Funnily, while still dating in the real world, I came to the mature realization that I don't want a man who doesn't want me for who I truly am.  This thought came to me while out with a friend and a friend of hers.  HER friend had had a ton of plastic surgery done, and she looked like a Playboy model had just stepped out of her centerfold.  The girl had platinum blonde dyed hair, giant boobs that were always up and out, and in incredible nose job.  She was as plastic as they come, and she attracted so much attention whenever we went anywhere with her.  Not that I was a slouch.  I used to model, and am 5'10", and weigh 135 (when I modeled I weight 117 lbs).  I have hair down to my waist that is highlighted blonde.  I'm smart, well-read, college-educated with some graduate (law) school.  I also have a wicked sense of humor.  But guess what?  That's NOT in demand, while Miss Playboy was.  Then I realized, "Do I really want to be with someone who wants THAT?"  So why bother being jealous of her and her conquests!  A guy who doesn't see and appreciate me for who and what I am is not the guy for me.  From that point on in time, I went out with a totally different perspective on who I hoped to meet, and then ultimately did end up meeting.

Meeting someone after that realization still wasn't easy or even better, but at least I felt better within my own skin.
