Lura January 2, 2015 Share January 2, 2015 That's an odd picture in the link. Is Joe on his knees? I don't think so. I think that just how short Joe is. I wonder whether Joe has his alcoholism under control yet. He said in the interview with Andy that he was "working on it." He'd better get at it pretty soon because there's no alcohol allowed in prison. Of course, knowing Joe as we do, that imp would probably start his own still somewhere and sell the stuff to his prison chums! 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/11882-trials-and-tribulations-of-juicy-and-tre/page/82/#findComment-690004

Kerrey92 January 2, 2015 Share January 2, 2015 Binge watched Orange is the New Black in honor of Teresa yesterday. The take away for me is that prison is no fun, but not because of the other inmates, but because of the lack of control in your own life. I am not sure how well Teresa is going to do with all of the prison rules, from when you eat and sleep to what you eat and wear to when you can or can't talk, etc. Horrible. Also, according to the show, prisoners go by their last names. Wonder which pronunciation of Guidice Teresa will use in the hoosgow? I would assume that she's shitting bricks right now, however, given that it's Teresa who lives in the land of lollipops, unicorns and rainbows, who the hell knows? 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/11882-trials-and-tribulations-of-juicy-and-tre/page/82/#findComment-690398

I am predicting she will go by GORGA-much less confusion for her. 5 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/11882-trials-and-tribulations-of-juicy-and-tre/page/82/#findComment-690967
Lura January 3, 2015 Share January 3, 2015 That's an interesting thought -- that Teresa might use the name Gorga in prison. Personally, I wouldn't shame my parents by using their name. If my husband were anything like Joe is, I'd use his name just to further smear him. The mere thought of the "finger exam" given to new prisoners when they enter the Big House is enough to make my skin crawl. I hope that when it's Joe's turn, they use a toilet plunger! Suck the sassafras right outta him! Not nice, but then neither is he. We're going to need a new topic here when Teresa becomes a freshman at Danbury. , Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/11882-trials-and-tribulations-of-juicy-and-tre/page/82/#findComment-691664
AnnA January 3, 2015 Share January 3, 2015 I put these two posts in the other Teresa thread but I think they belong here. Sorry if I used the wrong thread but I'm confused. Is that other thread just for comments about the video? What is the superlative of delusional? I'm guessing it's "MOST DELUSIONAL" and should also be a synonym for Teresa Giudice. I just found this on Yahoo compliments of US Weekly: "The Bravo star, who was convicted on several counts of fraud alongside her husband this past October, has remained strong for her girls, but the source tells Us she “only sees what she wants in terms of the legal stuff” and that she “is telling friends that she is hoping she will only be there for a week or two.” https://celebrity.yahoo.com/news/teresa-giudice-celebrates-years-eve-daughters-joe-ahead-003000073-us-weekly.html Yahoo has another link to a piece about Teresa trying to rake in some cash before she heads to the Big House on Monday. “She was looking for paid holiday photo gigs with her family and personal appearances. She is trying to pocket all the money she can before heading off to the big house.” Although the RHONJ did her best to generate positive publicity for herself, it appears no one wanted to associate with someone with a past such as hers. "We’re told nobody even wanted her for press on New Year’s Eve,” the insider revealed. http://www.inquisitr.com/1723096/rhonj-star-teresa-giudice-is-desperate-for-pay-as-former-inmate-speaks-out-about-her-upcoming-prison-term/ 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/11882-trials-and-tribulations-of-juicy-and-tre/page/82/#findComment-691834

I don't think they've ever talked about telling the girls about the prison sentences. It's obvious, though, that the two oldest DO know, just by remarks they've made to their parents. I think Tre is deluded if she thinks she can keep them in the dark about it. Joe did say that Milania said, "Is there something you want to tell me?", so she's heard things. These days, all kids are on the computer at an early age, so how would they not? Even my four year old grandson knows how to get to the games on Google Play. The Daily Mail has an article today that she told the girls she is going to prison to research a book she is writing on prison. Which means that, one, Teresa Guidice's Prison Diary is on it's way to the NYTimes bestseller lists, and two, Milania will be the one telling Audriana the truth ten seconds after Teresa waves goodbye. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/11882-trials-and-tribulations-of-juicy-and-tre/page/82/#findComment-692604

Her denial could be this deep, but even Teresa isn't this dumb, right? No lawyer has ever told her she could get out after a few weeks, and no lawyer is working on this as she enters the pokey. She's doing a year, minimum, because the most she could get shaved off for good behavior is a month or two. Rhetorica January 4, 2015 Share January 4, 2015 I've posted this on Teresa's New Year's Resolution forum. If anyone else wants to make predictions, post over there and I'll add. Here's the poll predictions so far based on the guidelines below. There is still time to add or change predictions. (No purchase is necessary to participate.) When will Teresa arrive? With whom will she arrive? In what transportation will she arrive? In what clothing will she arrive? With what paparazzi will she arrive? I need several of our sleuths to report in for the results. I assume it won't be as long a day as the sentencing, so the winner should be announced early evening. AnnA Teresa will report first thing in the morning........say 8 or 9 am. She will insist Juicy he drive her. She will arrive in the Mercedes SUV. She'll have her hair pulled back in a ponytail and be wearing a ball cap, sunglasses and sweats. If she was seals a deal with In Touch, she will tip them on when she's leaving so they can get exclusive photos. bosawks Arrives at 4 pm. Arrives with Joe only. In the Mercedes. Black clothing with hair in pony tail and hat. Nothing done with the bedazzler. FlyingEgret Joe tries to drop off Tre at 3 a.m. They have to sit in the Mercedes for hours until administration arrives. She wears all white (portraying the innocent victim) with a ponytail, sunglasses and no hat no purse. Luggage filled with Fabilini and baked goods to bribe the in-take committee. Jennifersdc Paparazzi hard to project. I'll go with three film crews and five or so enterprising paps who will then sell them to the tabloids. Lablover27 I think she'll go in minutes before the strike of midnight. Alone with a driver. In her SUV carriage No paps Merylinkid She will not go voluntarily. She will be "escorted" by federal marshals who had to go to the tacky mansion to get her. She will be in cuffs, screaming that she shouldn't have to report because she sued her lawyers and that means the sentence will be overturned. mwell345 She'll arrive early in the morning - pre dawn or shortly thereafter. She'll arrive in an SUV type car. One of her lawyers or "advisors" will be with her. She'll show up casually dressed, jeans, baseball cap, etc. She will want the paps there but they will be. Socalrules She shows up at 11:59 pm on January 4th She will be dressed low key with no makeup. I assume the extensions will come out before she gets there. Technorebel I think she'll go voluntarily and be dressed to the nines with her hair and make-up done. She'll smile in case anyone's taking photos and save the tears for inside. Zoeysmom Teresa will arrive early 10 am. With Joe, driving their Mercedes SUV. There will be paparazzi. When I left here yesterday, there was a discussion going on. Now, there's some kind of a poll, and there's a video of some woman going on and on and on. In the background, I'm getting a mix of what sounds like a choir and a mob scene of static. It's so weird! Where am I? I took the elevator up here, but I think I got off on the wrong floor! Well, anyway, it's been nice. I think I'll just tiptoe out of here and try to find my way home. And good luck, Teresa. You've been up and down, high and low, rich and poor, a wife, a mommy and tomorrow a prisoner. For the first time, I don't hate you or even dislike you. I have only pity for you. This public shame can't be easy, especially when millions of people are waiting for the clink of the door behind you. You're about to face challenges like none of us have ever known. I mean, they're making HEADLINES out of your hair extensions being removed!!! You're a bad girl. You're a crook. You're also a human being with feelings. The prison is gated and Teresa doesn't have to get out of the car when checking in at the gate. Once they've identified themselves to the guard, they'll be allowed to drive onto the prison grounds and told where to report. The closest thing we'll get to that is seeing her leave her house. How is Teresa so interesting that you think Big Bertha is going to write a tell-all about being her cellmate? Even Martha Stewart's fellow inmates didn't write a book about Martha behind bars, and that was a much bigger story. Anyway, there's already a book out on the subject - Orange is the new black. Lemondrop 16 January 5, 2015 Share January 5, 2015 I remember the judge saying something to the effect of "you finally get it" but I think it is only now starting to sink in to that skull of hers what's happening. She tried making it go away through denials and ignoring it to such an extent that she's seemed pathological or insane (that New Year's resolution tape is pathetic, crazy or both). Now as she walks around that huge house tonight and puts her kids to bed and starts packing ... what must she be thinking. It's sad. I don't feel sorry for her though, because I don't think she thinks it wasn't worth it. She doesn't want to go to prison but I don't believe she thinks she could have lived a life without wealth and fame. I think she will get she's going to prison when she gets in the car tomorrow morning. I think she will get that it wasn't worth it some time after she gets out, when the house and stuff are gone and what ever show Bravo gives her (housewives or other) is off the air.* She will be left without any of the trappings of money, Jo will be in prison, her children will be deeply wounded and angry at her, she will have no self-respect, and then and only then will she get that she traded them in for nothing. It's sad, but she earned what she's getting. *Nobody will want to watch a show about her sad life after the initial curiosity is quenched. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/11882-trials-and-tribulations-of-juicy-and-tre/page/82/#findComment-695178

It's sad, but she earned what she's getting. *Nobody will want to watch a show about her sad life after the initial curiosity is quenched. Well if the worst that happens is all she has is a one year time out from her $750,000.00 salary I for one will be disappointed, At some point the RH trend will end I would like to see it move forward without families that are returning from prison. I hope whatever cast the cobble together for Season 7 just flat refuses to film a Season 8 with her. The woman was an absolute dullard this year having to scrape the bottom of the barrel for a Victoria Gotti BS rumor. Why do people think she's packing? You can't take anything inside with you. Maybe a bible or something along those lines but its not like she can pack up her own clothes and toiletries to take with her. I have wondered that as well. 6 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/11882-trials-and-tribulations-of-juicy-and-tre/page/82/#findComment-695200
HumblePi January 5, 2015 Share January 5, 2015 I read in the Daily News today that Tree is telling two of her beautiful daughters {gag me}, that she is going to prison to RESARCH PRISON for the show. Sorry, I don't know how to do clickies. Just when you think she couldn't get any dumber............. 48 hours to go.....clink clink She told the two youngest daughters "Mommy is going to jail to do research about jail for a book I'm going to write". Duh, even when I was 4 years old I wouldn't have bought that story. Oh well, after all the lies she and Juicy have told over the past 10 years or so, one more lie isn't going to matter much. AnnA January 5, 2015 Share January 5, 2015 How is Teresa so interesting that you think Big Bertha is going to write a tell-all about being her cellmate? Even Martha Stewart's fellow inmates didn't write a book about Martha behind bars, and that was a much bigger story. Anyway, there's already a book out on the subject - Orange is the new black. I don't think she's interesting but there are people out there who think she is and they will buy a book about Teresa's time in prison. Tonight I read her Twitter feed and I just kept shaking my head in disbelief. She still has some dedicated fans. People who are saying they'll write to her and are praying for her; some are saying it's unfair that she's being sent to prison, etc. I even read one cursing out Judge Salas claiming Tre doesn't deserve to be sent to prison. My favorite was from someone who obviously shares Teresa's knowledge of the English language. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/11882-trials-and-tribulations-of-juicy-and-tre/page/82/#findComment-695370
ryebread January 5, 2015 Share January 5, 2015 (edited) Why do people think she's packing? Probably because we don't have many felons on this forum and don't know what the drill is. Here's what Wendy Feldman says she can pack: What She Can and Cannot Keep Giudice will have to hand over the bra, underwear, shoes and clothes she wore to prison, Feldman says. She will be allowed to bring a metal wedding band with no gems or stones and a metal religious medallion on a necklace and eyeglasses – but no earrings. "She can bring photographs with her and a certain amount of legal paperwork, which they will go through," she says. "She can bring a list of medications and addresses, and that's it." http://www.people.com/article/teresa-giudice-prison-sentence Edited January 5, 2015 by ryebread 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/11882-trials-and-tribulations-of-juicy-and-tre/page/82/#findComment-695398
Padma January 5, 2015 Share January 5, 2015 Maybe I'll feel sorry for her one day, but so far I don't think she has any remorse and I don't think she's had to give up anything (money, fame, Bravo job if she wants it back...nothing. Maybe her two girls that know are disappointed in her, but I'll bet anything she's still telling them she's an innocent victim, it was a miscarriage of justice, etc. and they are trying to believe her.) What's so difficult about telling your children you made a mistake, got too greedy and because of it, broke the law (even if you want to soft-pedal how intentional that was)? Tell them you made a mistake, you're paying the price because, just like them, you have to follow the rules and when you break them--for whatever reason--there are consequences (and that's a good thing). Tell them how much you love them, that the biggest punishment will be not being able to be with them but you're going to do X,Y and Z (including all the help from aunts and cousins) to make it as easy as possible for them -- and that you're determined to make this a time to improve yourself as a person, to grow and come out as a better role model for them, one who will never make this mistake again. And that you hope to work on a book that will show people they can make mistakes, learn from them and turn their lives around (or somesuch). My point is, people make mistakes and pay the price, including prison. How hard can it be to tell your children the truth and go in (like Martha Stewart did) without a lot of self-pity, denial and lying? It will be interesting to see if Teresa can actually adapt. On the one hand, she seems like the ultimate canny, opportunistic survivor-type to me. On the other, she seems in complete denial of reality. I'm really not sure which one will prevail. 7 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/11882-trials-and-tribulations-of-juicy-and-tre/page/82/#findComment-695401

Well, a couple nights ago Gia posted a pic on Twitter of herself and Tre and called Tre her 'BFF'. The night after that she posted she was having trouble sleeping. Had a lot of stuff on her mind. :-( That's why I don't have much sympathy for Tre. For what she's done to her kids. 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/11882-trials-and-tribulations-of-juicy-and-tre/page/82/#findComment-695440
Lura January 5, 2015 Share January 5, 2015 (edited) So, Joe? What's on your mind tonight, Big Guy? Oops! Make that Small Guy. Are you slithering into bed on your stomach like the snake that you are, and pleading with Teresa for "one more go-around" before she takes off? That would be just like you, wouldn't it, Joe? Or are visions of sugar plums dancing in your head? You know, those little vixens you've had your eyes on for months now. Are you fantasizing about what lies ahead with each of them? I hate to say it, but that sounds like you, too. Fun and games, Little Man! Did you ever watch one of those channels, especially at night, that show wild animals LIVE from Africa? The bush is all quiet, and crickets are just about the only sounds. Then, out of nowhere comes a terrifying scream, and some lion has felled a hyena for a midnight snack. That's how the paparazzi behave, Joe. Now that Teresa's out of the picture, those paps are all focused on you, Joe. They'll be salivating for a glimpse of you. You may not hear them coming, but ... ZAP!!!... they gotcha! And if one of those little vixens is on your arm, they REALLY gotcha! You must be full of thoughts, Little Guy! Somewhere in that twisted mind of yours, I hope that a few of them will be for four little girls who need a daddy and a mommy but will have to do without one. I really hope you'll do your best for them by putting them ahead of all the other thoughts. Sadly, regardless of what I hope, you'll do as YOU wish, Little Man. You'll think of Joe first. Teresa will be alright. She'll handle this. But, for you, Joe, Hell is just beginning! My point was that if Martha Srewart's fellow inmates didn't write a book about Martha behind bars, no one will write one about Teresa (and no publishing house is interested, either), as Martha was (and still is) a much bigger celebrity. That was in response to your guess that Teresa would write a book b/c she wouldn't want others to make money off her prison story instead of her. But regardless, the #1 reason she won't write a book is still straight out of her textbook - it calls attention to her crimes and goes against her carefully crafted image. She's going to walk out of prison and never talk about it, just like she's shown with Joe's past stint in the pokey, as well as her own legal troubles. Even Victoria Giotti tried to talk to her about it, and she shut it down. It's simple - it's Teresa's m.o. ryebread January 5, 2015 Share January 5, 2015 I'm not sure I believe that Tre has told the 2 littlest girls that she's leaving them for 15 months - not coming home at ALL for 15 months! - in order to research a book. That would be a level of fucked up that I don't think even Teresa possesses. If Teresa doesn't write a book, she's throwing away what is most likely her only chance of making any money this year and we all know much she loves and needs it. One of Martha Stewart's fellow inmates did write a book about being in prison with her. It's titled "Resilience: Living in Prison with Martha Stewart" by Rhonda Turpin. Martha Stewart didn't desperately need money like Teresa does but she did talk about her prison experience in a book titled "Martha Stewart Rules." Padma January 5, 2015 Share January 5, 2015 Hearing Teresa talk about how she "wrote" her cookbooks, if any book will come from her prison experiences it will be because she has an incredible memory (which I doubt) and can talk to the ghostwriter in adequate detail when she gets out. Personally, I think it's one thing to cook recipes (and have your mother do it, too) for a professional chef who is working for the publisher and also working with a real writer they've hired so they can get out a book with your name on it. It's another thing to actually put pen to paper (fingers to keyboard) and get out a memoir. I'm sorry, but not only do I have no respect for her, but I also think she's far too stupid to write any kind of book herself--and also too dumb (and too dishonest) to even remember enough of the details of her time at Danbury for someone to ghostwrite it for her. I'll be completely amazed if anything in writing comes from her time in prison, even letters. 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/11882-trials-and-tribulations-of-juicy-and-tre/page/82/#findComment-695638

She'll treat it like Bobby Ewing from Dallas - the whole year will be a dream, like it never happened. Lablover27 January 5, 2015 Share January 5, 2015 (edited) We spent 20 minutes (that I want back) while I was cooking dinner, talking about this with Lil Miss Lab(16). She said she couldn't imagine not having me for a year. One positive thing that comes out of this - she is learning a lesson and knows she loves her mom and appreciates me. All I said was "Now you know why I get so upset they would not, could not, follow the law. Who was a work all day yesterday and today? Daddy." What is it that Juicy does now? Anyone know? We know he can't be a limo driver.
