Seems like she forgets her Cassidine heritage

She deliberately distances herself from her Cassadine heritage, from her last name to her reluctance to be the trustee (or whatever) for the Cassadine estate.

The last time I can remember Alexis showing any sort of Cassadine backbone was when she gave Sonny the glorious "You were a peasant while my family ruled the world" lecture at her sister's funeral..

What are the odds that Drew isn't actually Shiloh, but has - finally - come under the influence of the mind control thingy the Cassadines wanted him for. Because I can't see Shiloh caring about who is mayor of the city or controlling the mayor. But someone who could control Drew's mind and is some unknown-to-us Cassadine who actually will be menacing? That I could see.

And I kind a miss a Cassadine who is clever and dangerous, and hasn't been mislabeled as the dangerest dangery Cassadine that ever lived. (Valentin, I'm talking to you.)

If Diane does such a deep due diligence on its potential employees, their parents should come up. That's basic information.

I liked Jason playing with the gavel on Diane's desk before he talked to Marco. It was kind of charming in a threatening way, or maybe I mean threatening in a charming way. He looked like a bored kid waiting to get taken home, hee.

I thought maybe Drew would decide to run for mayor because he thinks it's a step up politically, but he surprised me by being a bit smarter than that.

Did Drew say that the voters' intelligence and they would vote against Sonny? I don't know the voters voted for Drew and I still think the only time he has gone to DC was to get sworn it.

If it is going to be popularity vote of Sonny vs Drew? Drew is going to lose.

Drew nows wants his little toadie to run for mayor so that he could tell him what to do? Okay let see how they works out. Laura isn't going to lose being mayor because the show finally found a natural niche for Genie to play Laura across the show.

Liz only has a broken leg. She does not need a nurse.

Liz needs a home health aide for bathing and toileting.  When she's upright, that can be Lucky.  Now, not so much.  I did enjoy her reaching out to Lucas for help, though.  I like that relationship a lot.

Not sure how Drew can continue to own Boyle after he's in office, but I guess it's good to know that Drew wants to.  He really should grow a mustache to twirl.

I would love/hate to be inside Anna's head right now, after she's seen her friend possibly pay a political price for aligning with a mobster.

The Marco actor (not looking it up) seems to be playing him a little less ominously, and a little more sympathetically.  I'm not quite intrigued by this storyline, but I am hopeful that Lucas can find a worthy life partner.

Loved loved LOVED Ric’s reaction to Molly telling him Kristina bought the coffee 🤣 RH has wonderful comedic timing.

I’m having a really hard time with this Kai story. I get that he’s 21 and can legally make his own decisions but why wouldn’t he even discuss this with his parents? At least mention it, even if he’s made the (ridiculous) decision to go ahead because ‘I’ve beaten the odds before so I’ll be the 3rd success story!’ And I’m also not crazy about Trina wringing her hands over him being hurt again if he plays football. And how ‘he’s moved on!’ Because no, he really hasn’t. His dream was to play pro football and of course if there’s a way for him to do that, he will. Would she not have dated him if he continued playing college ball?

Is it?!  I've been at my current job for 22 years, so it's been awhile since I've been to an interview, but I don't remember being asked who my parents are or having my employer digging into my past to see who they are.

But then again, my father isn't an a zinquite importer/exporter and my mother isn't a homophobic whatever she does for a living.  So there's that!!

Well he has a different last name than both of them but I said from the beginning that someone should have asked about JS Associates, since it’s his biggest client.  ‘What does JS stand for?’ ‘Who did you work with while there?’ ‘What type of company is it?’

and even once Sonny told her who Marco is, she still didn’t clue into the JS.

Amy, Drew, and slimy councilman all in the same episode unwatchable.

I loathe Drew and Boyle but despite his motives, Boyle wasn’t wrong. Laura IS too chummy with Sonny and IS using her power and influence on hs behalf. She said as much to him the other day. She’s right to pet the voters decide but the whole point of the esplanade was to be easily accessible. And for that to happen, it needs to be in the original location. Of course now Diane wants Sonny to come forward about all his philanthropic activities over the years. Which means the new cardiac wing of the hospital will either be renamed or will have a ‘sponsored by Sonny Corinthos’ sign on the bottom. 🙄 because you know, Sonny is a GOOD mob boss. He’s a GENEROUS mob boss! And most of all, he’s a loving, loyal family man. How could the citizens of PC even think about taking away the piers and jeopardizing his livelihood?

The original location is not located by near the piers which Sonny owns. So it is going to be more expensive because it is not easily accessible and needs infrastructure to be built.

Like Drew and Boyle, the show is desperately trying to the esplanade issue about Laura's friendship with when it really should be about convenience and expense. What Laura should have said in the press conference is that they city has spend tens of thousands of dollars drawing up plans, checking the environmental regulations and applying for federal funding for the original location and if the esplanade is moved, that money will go down the drain along with having to pay Sonny for the location (even if it's pennies on the dollar) and pay for the very expensive demolition of the warehouses. Force Boyle/Drew to justify all those costs in order to change the location.

I'm disappointed in Alexis. She hasn't even talked to Kristina yet and that's the first thing that she should have done.

Not saying that the show won't go there but I didn't find it creepy that the physics prof saw one of his students in the restaurant and went over to say hello and encourage her to apply to be his research assistant. It may be how a predator behaves but it's also how a good professor encourages top students.

To me it looks like FV is going all in with Drew and not killing him off. Of course, if he should be killed off I think it will be Ezra because Drew screws him over at some point. Ezra isn’t a main character on GH. I like Daniel Cosgrove but I don’t think Ezra is a longtime character.

Amy is such annoying character. She’s not even a fun annoying character. I’m not sure whose idea was to insert her but buh-bye!!!

I enjoyed Laura’s dress down of Drew. I think in that moment Drew knew she was right but later on he didn’t care. Of course, Laura (and, Anna too) friendship with Sonny has always been dumb but these are longtime characters (and, it’s a soap) so these things are bound to happen. LOL!!!

Marco was found out pretty early on. I like the actor playing Sidwell but he just seems to move from set to set and does his thing while we are supposed to forget he was a terrorist of sorts who just happens to have a great accent and strong beard. LOL!!!! Good actor but the character wasn’t needed beyond his initial introduction.

No Ava, Ric or Alexis today. Why can’t we have nice things?

He said something liked he'd tracked her down, not that he was happy to have run into her. That's the slightly creepy (or at least contrived) part.* As the professor of the class she just left, he could have asked her to stay for a minute after class, or even called or texted her  at any time. I'm sure her phone number is on file with the university. Heck, thousands of years ago when I was in school, what was basically a phone book with everyone's info, including major, was published yearly. I imagine the equivalent must be online now.

In fact,  now that I think of it, Emma receiving a text while talking with Joss would have been much more realistic. But again, this is TFGH/

*But I get that it had to be said in front of Joss to set up the conflict.

For a law firm hiring a new associate, I'd sure as hell make sure there were no conflicts of interest in the lawyer's background, so I would go digging around for stuff like that. Different last names should be easy to figure out. But this is GH, where people have to be stupid for plot points.

Broadly speaking, Drew making Ezra his puppet isn't all the different.

What is Sonnys business ? Why does he need those piers?

Corinthos Coffee. He actually uses it for his legitimate business.

Sonny likes to tell people he's just a simple coffee importer—leave him alone!

Olivia, you are living at the Q mansion by Monica's grace, so you can STFU about not being able to redecorate it to your tacky standards.

Dante's cake looks like it was from a bakery. I'm shocked Olivia allowed it.

So disappointed! They way they talked about Hades, I had pictured it as a purebred black stallion with a gorgeous midnight blue mane.

Same. Tracy names a piebald horse Hades? But I enjoyed Cody leaning into the whole cowboy act.

LOL at Sonny's passive-aggressiveness about not going to Rocco's debate: "That's okay, I'll watch the video. [Alone. In my giant empty house.]" If Sonny thinks Olivia will be mad at Rocco for the reason Sonny won't be at the debate, he doesn't know Olivia at all. They're both nitwits. Again, STFU, Olivia.

Just watched yesterday's show, and JEEBUS CRIPES! How did this annoyingly annoying Amy EVER become a nurse? Elizabeth needs to "nap, nap, nap"? Yeah, she said "rest! rest! rest!" as if Elizabeth is an infant on a sleep schedule.

And the possessive: "She's My Patient" made me want to pop her one.

Thank goodness for the 911!HELP! text to Lucas.

That press conference was just too painful to watch, but I did. And Jordan can take several seats, because her hands are just as "dirty" when it comes to Mooby.

And if Mulcahy were still writing, we would never have seen Laura "make up" with Mooby's ass, because under his writing, she had cut of relations. Grandson, or no grandson.

Is it just me or did this episode go on endlessly?

I do not understand people who get a flat tire and then don't get it repaired immediately. And that's really not like Molly at all.

Zzzzzzzz on the endless baby talk between Brook Lynn and Chase. Is Brook Lynn going to put together now that Gio was born in California?

Rocco was looking over at Sonny talking to Gio. Is he going to be jealous when he finds out that Gio is his brother?

If he tracked her down, then yes, I agree that it's creepy. It would have made more sense for him to wait till the next class and then ask her to stay behind.

If he's a predator and Joss saves Emma, i will 🤢

So is Marco going to drop his father as a client now? Because working for JS while working at Miller and Davis seems very conflict of interest.

Are they going to try to adopt Gio? That's what I was thinking when they were talking about adopting an older kid.

idk, couldn't Liz tell Amy to get lost all by herself?  She's the head nurse.   Why let an employee push you around?

Elizabeth thinks Amy is a good nurse—albeit a pushy one—and didn't want to hurt her feelings, which is dumb. Amy's feelings are hers to handle and no one else's. Elizabeth needed to grow a spine and tell Amy she wasn't needed. But then we wouldn't have gotten the delightful scene with Elizabeth and Lucas, and I can always watch them, regardless of the circumstances.

Those two would be stupid enough to try. But since Gio is an adult, I don't think that they can.

They talked about Monica adopting Emily when she was 13 so maybe that's what they're thinking of.

I like Amy II so I didn't find the scenes of everyone freaking out about her funny. Boundaries, people. Tell Amy what those boundaries are and stick to them.

No, but I think Lulu just did.  Along with Lois' gushing about Gio to Lulu earlier it doesn't take an abacus to put two and two together.

Was the scene between Gio, Danny and Rocco supposed to be unintentionally funny?  There's Rocco, with his unknown half brother Gio.  There's Danny with his unknown half second cousin Gio.  Just hanging out.

I wanted to deck Curtis straight on his perfect nose. Jordan isn't your wife anymore. I'm glad he took a step back from the questioning.

I kind of like Marco, so I kind of liked his scenes with Alexis. But PC is all of a sudden overrun with lawyers. Molly, Alexis, Diane, Ric, Marco.

For someone who is hell bent on keeping Gio's biological parents a secret, Lois sure keeps running her mouth a lot about him and shining all these bright lights on him. Shut up, Lois! Why does this show bring back characters to make me hate them?

Glad they seem to have toned down Lulu (for now). Still hate her, though.

Didn't see most of the show today due to... America.

Was Sonny butt hurt that he doesn't get to go to the debate? And since when are Felicia and Carly close enough friends that Felicia's gonna ask Carly for a favor like that? I swear to God I will lose my mind if Sonny's never-ending egregious criminal tenure on this show concludes with him leaving the mob and ending up as Port Charles' beloved hero philanthropist.

Regarding Marco, did he know previously that his dad was in a rivalry with Sonny? If not, I don’t see why he should have mentioned his dad to Diane and Alexis. Now though, it’s awkward

I find it awkward because the whole thing is coming off as how dare you be Sidwell's son?

It makes me hate Sonny more.

Robert if he ever comes back. And recurring ADA Turner.

There are more lawyers on General Hospital than there are doctors. (Lucas, Isaiah, Portia. Terry is recurring. Monica is invisible.)

I've always assumed that (sadly) Monica would leave the house to Michael. But if Michael isn't around that seems unlikely. Not that I have any idea who else she'd leave it to.

We haven’t heard yet, but I suspect it won’t be for another 2-3 months

Since Bobbie's death, they seem to have made Felicia the go to person for Carly whenever she needs an older person to talk to.    I think they're putting Felicia in that spot to be the maternal ear that Carly needs.

16 hours ago, TVbitch said:

Yes.  Because people are being big ole meanies who want to take his criminal piers from him.

Although having said that, I"m sure it would cost WAYY more money to do a referendum and then to get eminent domain happening and then to clean up the piers and move the esplanade over there, rather than the original spot they were going to use.  How does that make any sense to the citizens.  I'd be sitting there thinking, screw the piers, no one's going to go down there, especially at night even if you tell me the criminal element is gone.  Just put it where it was supposed to go in the first place and call it a day.

Yeah, I was thinking before she might leave it to Tracy. But I was also thinking of the scenario where Monica puts the house in a trust for current and future Quartermaines, including the children, and any existing Quartermaine adults manage the house or can decide to hire some professional manager

That was painful.  And redundant.  I feel really bad for Gio, knowing this trainwreck of stereotyped goombahs are headed his way to ruin his life.   Nobody in the writer's room ever thought their portrayal of people from Bensonhurst wasn't just the tiniest bit offensive?  If not offensive, it sure is tiresome.  What the hell was MA doing in a pair jeans with holes at the knees?

I know Chase is harmless and seems to be a pretty decent guy.  But besides being pretty, what else does he have going for him?  He's like Topo Gigio trying to do Hamlet.

Poor Rocco.  The kid has to get up and do a debate in front of a roomful of people and too many of those people are going to be his relatives.  But at least he got Mumbles to agree not to be there.  Now if there was only a way to tranquilize Olivia.......
