  1. Same. Hated her, her story and her product. I would never in a million years buy underwear online. While I liked the oatmeal guy's product and would try it, I did not understand his comment after the segment that the other sharks missed out. Didn't Barbara give him an ultimatum that she had to consider only her offer and no others? I hate it when she does that. She and Mark seem to do it the most, and as a viewer I find it annoying. Speaking of Barbara, for a few years now she has advertised for a local real estate agent. I would imagine he must be paying a pretty penny for her endorsement. But he also has had some questionable real estate dealings that he has been called out on, so apparently Babs will endorse anyone for the right price. Not that that surprises me, but it does make her likely my least fav shark.
  2. Bravo is focusing way to much on Brauny, just like they focused way too much on Leah on this past NY season. She isn't interesting enough or likeable enough to carry the show (same with Leah). I will say though that as much as I like Gina much more than Brauny, and think Sean is creepy, I think Gina over reacted to Sean's text. If she had not asked him to help her hail an Uber, and the text was just out of the blue after they had both attended a party, maybe. But she did ask for his help, so a follow up text I don't find out of line. Also Brauny has said that she will only have threesomes with hot women, and it is obvious that Brauny does not consider condo Gina to be in that category. I did love Shane saying that if things got out of line at the birthday party between Gina and Brauny, he would have to eject one of them. And Gina following that up with a comment that she did not want to get ejected from Shane's house again. I like that Gina and Emily are friends again, and that Gina and Shane can joke about their past history. I'd like to know the square footage of Shannon's house because it looks to be at least as big as Brauny's, if not bigger. And what is the square footage of Emily's? Her's seems to be the biggest of the current howives. Still not buying that Brauny's is 8,000 sq ft. That is a pretty good sized house. I am shocked that Shannon only got 1.3 mil in her divorce settlement. That is peanuts for someone who was married for as long as she was, and who's hubby is worth that David is supposedly worth. I guess David is hanging on tight to his money for when he has to pay up for his second divorce. The one thing that stood out to me and I missed last week was that between filming and the THs, Shannon and Brauny both had their lips inflated. Some of the others may have as well, but Shannon's and Brauny's are enormous. I will never understand why women get so much botox that their upper lip is undistinguishable from their lower, and loses all definition. Surely when this trend wears off women who partake in this stupid procedure will look back and think "WTF was I thinking?".
  3. I laughed at Matt's dad saying that although he would do anything to keep Jackson happy, he doesn't want Jackson bossing him around too much or he will pick up bad habits and turn out like Matt. Lol. And Matt's mom says "Oh dear". Looks like his parents have the same view of Matt as you do - lol. It also looks like Matt doesn't get his inability to show affection to Caryn from his parents. They were very sweet holding hands as they were being interviewed at the farm.
  4. Hmmm, you could very well be right about bipolar. Brauny is a lot like Leah on RHNY. Out of control when drinking, but even when not drinking has a need to always be the centre of attention, and to be doing or saying something that she thinks will shock others. Also agree that she could be on something other than booze.
  5. That is why I find Brauny the most inauthentic of the howives I have watched over the years. And that is a pretty high bar to clear. She is portraying the fact that she and Shawn are not living together as something that is fantastic for their marriage, and making their relationship so hot. Sure Brauny. I can see why her declaration of alcoholism would be questioned by some. If she is, I do not think she is admitting it for any other reason other than for attention. She is like a toddler - doesn't matter if she is getting positive or negative attention - as long as she is getting attention. Regarding whether she is renting or bought, she did bring up her real estate agent. But we also know from Million Dollar Listing LA that real estate agents are used there for rentals as well. Not sure if she actually said that they bought it? Mind you Dorito and PK on BH move pretty much every year, and I don't think any of their houses are actually owned by them, as much as they let on that they are.
  6. I was going to put this in Braunwyn's thread, but it seems that she doesn't have one? She obviously didn't make enough of an impression - either positive or negative - for someone to be bothered to start one last year. Or I am just not seeing it, but I did look a couple of times. In any case Brauny was on Entertainment Tonight last night to once again show off her 8,000 sq ft house. Still not seeing it - my house is half that size and looks pretty much the same size wise except we have a triple garage. The positive aspect of her house is that she could borrow a cup of sugar from the neighbour without either having to leave their houses. Brauny shared that she and Shawn are not currently living together and it is a fabulous thing for their marriage. She continues to see women in their open marriage, no men. In addition she does not know if she will be returning next season as she is not speaking to any of the other housewives now. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree - Brauny is just as thirsty for attention as mother Deb.
  7. I detested Braunwyn last year, and only like her a smidgen more this year. I applaud her admission, but also think it is a plot point to keep her orange. So she kept having kids so that she would stop drinking during her pregnancies and breast feeding? Nice that your children know why they exist, Brauny. Though I don't buy it. Hard to believe that her house is 8000 sq ft. It doesn't look that big from the outside, and only has a double garage from what I can see. Any 8000 sq ft house where I live also has a decent sized yard and at least a triple garage, if not quadruple. Is that a "thing" where she lives, to fill up the entire lot with living space and nothing else? In any case it doesn't look anywhere near 8000 sq ft. OTOH, 8,000 sq ft would not be big enough for me if I were housing all her children. I liked Gina's admission that she eats when she is happy. Same. She does seem to be moving quickly with this guy, but I guess after all those years of unhappiness with Matt this guy must seem like a miracle. I assume that the Brandy Bunch scenario is not 24/7 as one would think that both Matt and her new guy's ex have their own days with the kids? I have always liked Shane, much more than Emily. It is nice to see Emily admit that maybe she was the cause of much of their marital discord. I like the newbie so far, but then I am a huge animal lover (care for them for the most part more than people) so I applaud her efforts to start a sanctuary. There really isn't anything I don't like about her at the moment. I am enjoying seeing women that do not talk about their weight ad nauseum. (I am looking at you, NY ladies). Gina, Elizabeth, Kelly, Emily, Shannon are all pretty much normal weight, and certainly not toothpicks. It is refreshing. And by normal I mean representative of "real" women.
  8. Matt is grandparenting the same way he parented. Jer was always the golden boy, and Matt made it very obvious. The other three kids were after thoughts, if he thought about them at all. Matt has to change his tune somewhat now because Zach is the only kid being filmed, Jackson is now the golden child, and though Lailah is still a baby I doubt she will reach golden status no matter what her age. You can tell that Matt has spent years gaslighting Amy. In the exchange regarding people coming around the farm house to prepare quotes, Amy was quite clear - just give her a heads up that someone will be outside the house taking pics or whatever. Matt then turned it into a big deal as if Amy had asked for exact times and details of what they would be doing. She didn't. I know Matt isn't the sharpest stick in the woods, but he isn't that dumb either. I love that Amy is finally calling him on his B.S. If he were my hubby he would have been an ex years ago - or six feet under. Like others I have no idea what Caryn sees in Matt. He still treats her like an employee. It is obvious he is not an affectionate person, but sheesh. It was nice to see Caryn actually call Matt on his B.S. too, with regards to Amy. I wonder if it bugs her to see Amy with someone who is so openly affectionate while she is stuck with former boss who still treats her like an employee Matt.
  9. I am sure it was Dateline that covered the story before because Dateline itself referred to the episode as an update. I did watch the episode because I was wondering what the update was. I guess it was regarding the appeals, because nothing else was new from my recollection. How horrific for his kids though that their mother was killed by her 2nd husband, and their father was killed by someone hired by their father's girlfriend's ex boyfriend. If this was a fictional movie it would likely be considered too far fetched to be believable.
  10. I guess that is why Sharon announced that no one in the cast has any say over who is kept or let go from the show? I could see Sharon trying to get Marie canned, but not Sheryl. I also don't believe that Carrie Ann would try to save Marie as the story claims. as I don't think she is a strong enough person to go against Sharon. I find it interesting that they have had two segments recently regarding cheating spouses. Last week when Sharon bragged about her almost 40 year marriage (after Ozzie left his first wife for Sharon) I wondered how long Sharon's marriage would have lasted if Ozzie had decided to leave Sharon for any one of his many conquests? I also found the discussion interesting regarding cheating spouses, when Sharon talked about how her father's cheating on her mother affected her. No word of course on how Ozzie's incessant cheating has affected her own children.
  11. It was definitely a more in depth portrayal of the couple. Interesting that the show was made with the approval of Shanann's family. I guess it would have to be, given the amount of footage they showed of Shanann's numerous video posts to social media. I don't think she had a blog of any sort, she just seemed to be posting on her Facebook page? Not to speak ill of the dead, but I found her incessant need to post videos of Chis, her children and their lives rather sad and a bit obsessive. But then I don't understand the need to continually portray your life as happy happy, rather than just live your life happy happy. How ironic and horrifying that in the end Shanann's life - and death - is on display for all to see.
  12. I skipped to the end too because I was only interested in the episode if at least one of the Adelsons (but preferably Dan's ex) was finally charged and convicted. When I saw that they were all still free as birds, I deleted the episode from my PVR. I watched it, but can't say that I prefer this format (no narrator) over the usual crime based shows. It did have a bit more depth with regards to the background of the couple, but I am disappointed that Netflix could not find a murder to cover than has not already been covered by at least one other true crime show.
  13. I agree. The producers should show more light hearted moments and less drama. The only way I will be entertained next season by Leah on my screen is if she is accompanied by Bunny. Bunny laughing when Leah was fake crying that her father will never walk her down the isle was the best part of the episode for me. Typical of Look at Me Leah to make her father's illness about her. Ugh. I loved the scene where Dorinda wished Richard a happy birthday, the trainer guy joined in, then asked where Richard was. The look on Dorinda's face that she could not believe that this guy didn't know that Richard is dead was priceless. Such a narcissist - if it is important to Dorinda it must be important to every Tom, Dick and trainer guy. I am soooo looking forward to a season where I will not have to hear Richard's name, or Dorinda using his death as an excuse for bad behavior. I chuckled at Tinsley saying that she picks calories from alcohol over calories from food. I always say that I'd rather have my calories in food than booze. I also like to be in control of what I say and do. I'd be a boring reality show participant. Leah just tries way tooooo hard. The SEX choker pretty much fit in with Martin's assessment that she acts like a 14 year old. She is definitely stuck in her teens. She made a comment, I think with regards to her interview outfits, to give the public what they want. Sorry Leah, you didn't give me what I want. You will still be on my screen next year.
  14. Eh. I take it with a grain of salt. The obit was obviously written by Dorinda (not surprising as the surviving wife) since she also includes her parents in the obit. So yes, Richard may have called Dorinda that. But it is an odd thing for the writer of an obit to include about herself. (If it is even true - who knows?). But then Dorinda is a narcissist, so not really surprising.
  15. I thought also by the look of the puncture wounds that the first stab caught Amy by surprise and she turned slightly, as some of the puncture wounds look like they were heading towards her side. I was a bit worried when the jurist said that they were having problems coming to a verdict because there was no witness. Ya, murderers generally wait until there is no witness. Sheesh. Thank goodness that common sense prevailed. I bet though that Todd must have been kicking himself that he didn't just stick to one stab of the fork, where the accident theory may have had some weight. My guess is he knew the first stabbing would not be fatal, hence the second and possibly third one. Though personally even if there had only been 4 puncture wounds I would still have been very suspicious.
  16. Did they even mention a brother in this 20/20 version? I only remember the mother and step dad. But that would certainly make sense. What I thought was odd - and got brushed aside - was when Melanie said that they had a large amount of cash to make a down payment on the half a million dollar house that they bought. Where did the large amount of cash come from? Gambling? She made it sound like the guy was a loser in pretty much anything he touched. And I thought her reason for using the cash to buy a house a little odd, considering that the day they closed she decided to tell him that she wanted a divorce. It made me wonder if they had insurance that would give her the house free and clear in the event of his death, though that was never brought up. I thought the "evil genius" was rather stupid when she told investigators that they weren't missing any luggage/had no matching luggage, then had to backtrack. Also what husband, when leaving his wife, packs three suitcases? I could just picture hubby angry enough to leave, but keep coming back to shlep suitcase after suitcase out the door. Honestly much of this evil genius's moves reminded me of a Coen Brothers movie.
  17. I have no problem believing that Todd killed Amy. Very early on, as soon as Tristen said that he and his dad had been working in the barn for an hour and a half after Amy left for the shed/house, and that his dad told him to go to the shed to look for his mom, I knew that Todd did it. Why would he think that Amy would still be in the shed an hour and a half after she left the barn? Because he attacked her there, so knew she was there. I also thought when the son said that he never lost sight of his dad that that was quite unlikely, given how big the barn was and that they were each doing their own jobs. In addition, Todd said that he told Amy that if she didn't feel up to it not to worry about getting the carrier. So when he didn't see the carrier where he told her to leave it, why would he not just think that she didn't feel up to it and leave it at that? Because not seeing the carrier was an excuse to send his son in to find his dying mother. What a cold POS. I also think it is quite possible that Todd gave Amy something to make sure that she felt dizzy, thus adding to his theory that she got dizzy and fell on the rake. They never said whether toxicology tests were done, but presumably Amy was likely on meds for her recent operation. Likely would not have been the hard to ensure that Amy felt dizzy, and have it not raise alarm bells. I did not find the fact that Todd did not have blood on him odd at all. He either shoved the rake into Amy's back twice or three times. But he would have done so in quick succession. And on either the second or third time left the rake in her back. But Amy was wearing a jacket, and who knows how many of layers of clothing underneath the jacket. So that material would be getting soaked in blood, so I find it quite likely that Todd would not have blood on him. Who knows how long Amy continued to live and to bleed, which would account for so much blood being there when Tristen finally found her up to an hour and a half later. The show only said that she never regained consciousness, but not when she was officially pronounced dead. I found Todd to be totally unbelievable in his testimony. When he said he took Amy to the hospital rather than call 911 because "something was wrong" I thought "Ya, you stabbed her in the back with a rake. That's what was wrong". Also his smirk when the friend testified that "you don't mess with Todd" was chilling.
  18. As usual Dateline left so much out. They were very vague about Amber's living situation at the time that the attack happened. They interviewed the person they called her sister in law who became her best friend, and said that the father of Amber's child was the brother in law of the sister in law. But who knows what that really means? They also said that the best friend/sister in law was helping to raise Amber's son, and was babysitting the child the night the attack happened. It was two years later when Amber moved into the house with all the roommates. I wondered as well if her son lived there. They did say that Sam actually slept on the couch, so I wondered if he came along after the fact (and under the guise of moving in the house with his friend) when he found out that Amber was living there? I also didn't understand the whole stolen bike thing. Sam stole the bike from his friend and pawned it. But how did the pawn shop owner know it was Sam who pawned it if Sam gave false information? Or did Sam give his actual name etc, and the false information was that it was his bike? In any case if he hadn't stolen the bike and pawned it giving false information that turned out to be a crime worthy of having to give DNA, who knows if the case would ever have been solved. Honestly this is one of those cases that if I had seen it as the plot for a fictional TV movie I would have said it was too far fetched to be believable.
  19. I love that others have posted here about Melanie's comment that she can't be an evil genius and an idiot at the same time. I actually laughed and said out loud "No one has called you an evil genius!". I actually laughed at Melanie several times. Another time was when she said she was mortified (paraphrasing here) that her parents heard the testimony that she had oral sex with her boss when she was 38 weeks pregnant. Because sitting on trial for the murder and dismemberment of your husband and the father of your children isn't the least bit mortifying for her parents and grandmother. It actually wouldn't surprise me if Melanie's parents were involved. It was rather chilling how cold her mother was in the phone call when Melanie referred to cutting them off at the knees (I think it was in reference to the cops but don't remember for sure). One would think that if your daughter is innocent of dismembering your grandchildren's father, that would be a phrase she would stay away from, and one that might horrify you. Didn't phase her mother in the least. The podcast ladies seem to be just looking for their 15 minutes of fame. I wish Andrea had asked them to explain the prescription that Melanie forged. I also laughed when they said that Melanie could not have dismembered the body with her children in the townhouse. (I don't think she did it there, and do think she had help). I would have asked where her children were when she was supposedly driving around Atlantic City to move Bill's car because that is a game they liked to play. In any case the idiot (as opposed to the evil genius) is right where she belongs. I hadn't seen it before either, and was quite amused for two hours at Melaine's claims of innocence. I am so l glad as well that Bill's sister is raising Melanie's kids, and that they have nothing to do with her.
  20. What I got from this episode was that the ladies (including Denise) actually got along much more often than we were shown during the season. Did we see any of Sutton's birthday party? If so I don't remember it. I loved all the flowers and the setting. This is what I watch the show for. I think Denise has much more to be worried about than her daughters hearing adults at the next table talking about a threesome. Her daughter stuffing her bed to look like she is in it and sneaking out at 2 am? For pancakes? (Sure, that is the reason). Not to mention walking out of the house in a crop top after being told to change her top. I don't see Denise having much control over her daughters, and being very naive about them. I don't think they are much different than many kids their age, but Denise seems to be in arrested development with regards to how she is parenting them. Denise seemed to overreact a ton with the Bravo Bravo Bravo comment. The producer appeared very exasperated with her, so I don' t think this is the first time she has tried to direct a scene. I actually believe that Denise left because she could not control how the season went, or how the next one may go. (I also believe that is why LVP left). I have always liked Teddi so I am sorry that she will not be back next year. I do love that she did not play the "it was a mutual decision" game, and came right out to say her contract was not renewed. I wish you a happy life, Teddi.
  21. Leah may be the most boring howife I have ever seen on this franchise, and that is saying a lot. Way too much of this episode was devoted to Leah. What a snore. I am shaking my head that Leah is upset that her daughter now knows that she is bipolar. Seriously? I think it would be pretty much impossible for her daughter not to have seen her mother display symptoms of it over the years. Just because Kier may not know it has a name doesn't mean she hasn't seen it. In fact it may make Kier feel better to know that some of the way her mother acts is due to a mental disorder. In addition, though Ramona said that Leah should not mix medication with drinking, she is not wrong that alcohol can intensify the mania that someone with bipolar displays. Medicated or not. Leah's daughter is certainly old enough to know her mother's history, and certainly when Leah has made it public herself.
  22. Half the time they didn't even show Denise during this episode, as she was so checked out (drunk? stoned? ) that there was no point even having her on camera. I do think it is amusing that she continues to claim that she has only met Brandi three times (I think that number has changed but it is hard to keep up with her lies) but has texted Brandi for a year and a half. Sure, Denise, sure. So glad she will not be back next year. Garcelle is as bad of a liar as Denise is. First she couldn't go to Erica's show because she can't fly on small planes. Then when she finds out that it wasn't a small plane, she couldn't go because her ex would not switch days with the kids. However Garcelle couldn't be bothered showing up for much of the season, so why would she show up off season? That is the real reason she didn't go. I really hope that Garcelle isn't back either. I would be fine with Sutton being a FT howife - at least she wants to be there. You will never understand me. Lol. And I'm OK with that. BTW, I don't think I have referred to myself as team anyone, ever. Just never interested me, with regards to a TV show or IRL.
  23. Leah was overpaid, IMO. Is $60,000 a standard amount that Bravo pays for a unknown in their first season? I remember reading that $60,000 is also what Gina was paid for her first season of RHoOC. It isn't a lot, but so many of these newbies crash and burn in their first season that it would not be surprising to me. Why pay more for someone like a Leah or a Gina who could be anyone from anywhere? Neither even have an interesting background to draw viewers. They are both about as far removed from the premise of the show - rich with fabulous lives - as you can get.
  24. Hmmm, so it was OK for Leah to leave the city, but not Ramona? And to be clear, my post was specifically about Leah's post on SM berating Ramona for isolating with her family - Avery and Mario. So Mario allowed Ramona to stay with him for weeks on end because she has a fake relationship with him for SM? Doubtful. Personally, I don't see Leah having a decent relationship with Rob at all. I see Rob acting as the adult in their relationship and often treating Leah like his second daughter, as that is at times what she acts like. In fact Leah's daughter is as often as not more mature than her mother. There is a reason that Leah complains about her mother and Rob both being on her case and in agreement in their opinions of Leah.
  25. I read the comments here before I was able to watch the show. What a bore it was, up until the last 5 minutes. I don't think Sonja looks good, at all. Her neck area looks better as her double chin is gone, but the rest of her face looks drawn and pinched. Leah looked ridiculous in her outfit. And she really lost me when they showed her SM video,, berating Ramona for being in Florida with her family. WTF? I think Leah was jealous that not only was Ramona in a spacious home, but she was isolating with her ex and daughter. I am sure Leah was jealous because she was not isolating with Rob. And as someone else posted, I don't think Rob was jealous at all a the scene of Leah and the bartender. I really hope they show more unseen clips before and after Dorinda's out of control call to John. I wonder why Bravo kept this a secret, for more than a season? Dorinda will have been let off way too easy if it is just dropped. It's great that Dorinda is gone, but I want to see her go down in flames in front of my eyes. And in front of Tinsley's too. A few have mentioned Heather here. I have never liked Heather, and am not surprised that it seems she is taking Dorinda's side for shallow reasons. I always found her to be shallow and unlikable, so the comments here about her appearance on WWHL just cements my opinion. I hope the next two episodes are better than the first, as most of the first was just padding IMO.
