Matt really came off looking like an ass (more so than usual). When he was accusing Amy of ordering his workers around, I wondered how in the world she would come onto his property, gather his workers, and give them orders on what to do, all with Matt not knowing. Not likely. It totally made sense that she mentioned what needed to be done to Jacob, and he took it upon himself to do what he thought was needed. I also don't understand why Matt just didn't ask his workers where they put stuff? Or Caryn ask where the stuff for the basket was moved to? Easier to complain on camera like they are helpless on their own property, and act like the workers are going rogue. I loved Chris standing up for Amy in front on Matt. Seems like he maybe has finally seem Matt's MO, as in nothing is ever his fault. And if at all possible, it is Amy's fault. I was shocked to see Tori actually giving affection to poor Murphy this episode. Even the kids ignore the poor dog which is just bizarre to me. #FreeMurphy indeed.

It wasn't until late in the episode that they said that Jenelle was jealous of Billy Jean as she had a crush on Billy. Her jealousy went into overdrive when Billy Jean moved in with Billy and then had the baby. So IIRC there was never any online fight, only Jenelle making it up to get her parents and Jamie to do her bidding. The thing is, Jenelle was not bright, but the three she was trying to convince were even less bright than Jenelle. The emails that "Chris" sent were from her own account. How did her parents and Jamie think "Chris" was able to do that? And honestly, a CIA agent sent to protect a woman in Podunk USA from an online feud? OMFG!!

So even the article isn't clear as to where the two middle sisters were staying while their mother and two younger siblings were living with Jodi. The employee said that the girls sometimes did housework and chores at her residence. Since the older brother was 18 at the time, and the younger brother who was being abused was 12 I think, the middle sisters were somewhere between 13 and 17 years old? So were they on their own at the family house? Just bizarre all around, and that their living arrangement at the time never seems to have been clarified. Should that not have be added to the list of charges against their mother if they were left at the home alone? Mind you I guess they were better off there than with their mother......

I don't for a minute believe that Ruby regretted the horrific abuse she subjected her children to. She played the system, trying to get a lighter sentence. Did I miss it, or did they actually say who was looking after the middle aged children at the time the abuse was happening to the younger kids? The father was gone, Ruby moved to Jodi's with the two youngest, so who was looking after the middle kids? When the police went to the house where the family had originally lived, they then said the kids were at a neighbours. Did the neighbours take the kids in? So many people dropped the ball on this, including CPS and the police. Geez, even viewers of Ruby's site tried to bring attention to the care the kids were getting in 2020 by starting a petition. I don't understand why Ruby and Jodi were not charged with attempted murder. I guess it didn't fit the legal definition, but that is what it was.

I have just subscribed to Britbox, watched the first episodes of the current season and now am working my way through S12. (I have watched earlier seasons in previous years, love Vera). There was one glaring mistake in this episode, which is very unusual for this series. The coroner would have known right away when she did the DNA test on the scarf that the killer was a female. Of course Vera would have been able to rule out all the male suspects right away and the episode would have been half an hour long rather than an hour and a half. So of course that detail was not mentioned. But still a glaring error (or omission, as the case might be).

Thank you for the reminder of the names! You'd think that with both women being named Jenn, it would be easy to keep straight! I agree that wife Jenn was wording things carefully. I didn't buy her explanation that she thought he was in bed with her, and then over time questioned her memory of that night. Na Jenn, you lied (whether due to pressure or whatever) and then you eventually came clean.

I loved every minute of this telecast, except for the In Memoriam segment. Not only was it ruined by the dancers and too many people on the stage, all the busyness totally took away from the performance of the sublime Andre Bocelli and his son Mateo. All the segment needed was them, with the focus on the pictures of those who passed. It was an abomination that those who have passed, as well as the world renowned singer Bocelli were relegated to second fiddle.

I got the feeling that she may have thought that her marriage could be saved, and over the few years realized that it couldn't. Really she is lucky that she wasn't charged with obstruction, as that is what she was doing.

I was initially annoyed at the wife Michelle for giving her husband an alibi. But then when she talked about how harassing her inlaws were, and they showed the delusional parents I could see how she was pretty much tormented by both her husband and his family. It does make me wonder though, if there had been no Covid to delay the trail, if he would have gotten off as wife Michelle may have not have had a change of heart yet. I was really wishing that when Dennis was interviewing the parents and they showed the two pictures side by side, Dennis had said "It is obviously the same person". Though his face certainly said that. Not that I think it would have saved the guy, but I do wonder why girlfriend Jennifer was still in touch with her ex, right up to phoning him to find out who to request a wellness check. Isn't how one would do that common sense? Doesn't really seem like she was over the guy, despite supposedly breaking up with him because he wouldn't leave his wife. The one I feel sorry for is the daughter. I wonder if she sees her grandparents still? Seems like they would be claiming her father's innocence and likely badmouthing her mother. Glad though that they didn't really talk about her, and glad they didn't interview her.

I do agree that Dorito may be embellishing the details of both robberies. The Marshalls I go to rarely has even one man in it, let alone three. IIRC Dorito found out her purse was gone when she got to the cashier to pay for her purchases? One would think in a store, even if three men were behind the robbery, they would not want to call attention to themselves by following someone together. Did the police ever release footage of the three men, or it is just Dorito that claims there was footage of three men following her? Hmmmmm

I wonder what Annemarie's very, very, very wealthy and very, very, very famous friends thought about Annemarie lying about her professional credentials, and belittling a cast member she has just met about her medical condition? And continuing to double down on that throughout the season. One would think that would be more atrocious behavior than mentioning how much alimony one receives. BTW, I was surprised to lean that Annemarie was born and raised in a farming community an hour or so outside of Vancouver, B.C. It was also known for many years as the Bible Belt of B.C. Has Annemarie ever talked about her childhood? I would imagine the very, very, very wealthy and very, very, very famous friends are her hubby's. She is just the 8.5 (or 5.8 as she is sometimes referred to here) who married him.

I am dating myself, but Kyle's dress reminded me of the dress on the Mary Tyler Moore show that the prostitute that Mary met in jail, designed for her. A tacky dress showing way too much skin. I did have to laugh though, after Kyle professed to be embarrassed by her name being in big letters, but not at all embarrassed at her choice of dress. OTOH, the tacky dress went with the tacky setting. The back yard would have looked so much more classy. The only dress that I liked was Annemarie's. That may be the first nice thing I have said (or thought for that matter) about Annemarie this season. I still hope she is a one and done. I think it should be rule that every episode next year includes a scene of Sutton jewelry shopping, preferably with her adorable daughter. I did like the earrings she bought, and that 9 million dollar blue diamond ring was stunning.

Every time I see Mauricio's blinding white teeth, I am reminded of the Friends episode where Ross left the whitening trays in his mouth too long, and his teeth glowed in the dark. Then it was not a common thing to have overly whitened teeth. Now sadly it is commonplace, but even at that Mauricio's look ridiculous. I don't think Kyle and Mauricio's marital problems are for a storyline. Kyle looked visibly repulsed by Mauricio touching her, and she is not that good of an actress. There was definitely a disconnect when Mauricio bragged about the number of branches he has opened and how many more are coming on line, since that is what seems to be what is bothering Kyle the most. I do not see the two of them staying together. Speaking of actresses, Lisa Rinna guested in an episode of So Help Me Todd that aired last night. I took me a minute to recognizer her. I enjoyed seeing her acting again.

But would he wear one set of clothes to the restaurant earlier in the day, change clothes to go to Chicago with Darlene, and then change back into the clothes he was wearing at the Lunch Box earlier in the day, to go back to the restaurant after returning from Chicago? That is why there is a glaring continuity issue. Along the lines of the clothing changes, Dan wears a dark green plaid shirt and gold puffy vest at the Lunch Box. He wears a blue denim shirt and dark blue jacket to Chicago. He is then seen again at the Lunch Box wearing the green plaid shirt and gold puffy vest. Then when he arrives home where he has his conversation with Darlene he comes in the house wearing the dark green plaid shirt, this time paired with the dark blue jacket he was wearing in Chicago. Lol.

First of all, Godejohn was not a boy when he killed Gypsy's mother. He was a 26 yr old man. And a sick MOFO who had fantasies of murdering someone. He didn't need to be manipulated, he was doing exactly what he wanted to do. While this site was down I watched the 6 part series, The Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard. It was worth the watch. There were interviews with many people other than Gypsy, including her maternal grandfather, uncle, cousin, and two of her doctors. It was quite eye opening. Gypsy claimed that her grandfather molested her from the age of 9. Interesting, as in one of his interviews, the interviewer asked him about Gypsy claiming abuse. The interviewer did not say what form of abuse, but the grandfather went right to sexual, and claimed that Gypsy tried to seduce him from the age of 4. Another MOFO right there. It was amazing how many people turned a blind eye, including the two doctors. They had suspicions, but did not pursue. And why did Gypsy only have a grade 2 education? No one checked to see if she was getting an education, and she obviously was not, even home schooling. While I don't necessarily believe everything that Gypsy claimed, she was also groomed from a young age to lie, and she was taught by a master manipulator. I am glad that she is out, and hope she is able to make a life. I did find it funny when the 20/20 interviewer questioned her on putting her life out there for everyone, when they are exploiting her as much as she is exploiting herself. The media is as much to blame for Gypsy being everywhere, as Gypsy is. In any case, I have no problem with Gypsy being out, and Godejohn being in prison. I don't think Gypsy is a threat to anyone, but I do think her ex could be.

As others have mentioned, the continuity error was so glaring, it was shocking. First Dan is at the Lunch Box, wearing a dark green plaid shirt and gold puffy vest. Then he is in Chicago with Darlene, wearing a denim shirt and jacket. Then he is back at the lunch box, wearing the same green plaid shirt and gold puffy vest. I hope Harris takes over the restaurant and makes it a huge success. If the writers don't want to do it for the Connors, they could at least do it for the viewers. We have waited long enough for someone in the family to make a success of something. Anything.

Sutton definitely only had some. I think it was odd that Kyle would have her mother's ashes loose in the urn. And for the exact reason she claimed her mother's ashes were under the sink in a bathroom - in case the lid came off and they spilled. We have partial ashes of both my parents, my step son, my husband's best friend, and full ashes of two of our kitties. ALL ashes are in plastic bags, and then contained in their respective urns/containers. Kyle would be horrified to know that the partial ashes of my parents (other parts are with my siblings, and spread in places that meant the most to them) for several years lived in a large Friskies cat treat tin. (Though they weren't under a sink, so there is that). When my step son died, we did not like the urns sold at the funeral home so I found a beautiful one online with three wolves howling at the moon. It then occurred to me once I found that you could get gorgeous urns online, to order one for my parents. So they are now resting together in a beautiful gold urn with mother-of-pearl inlay. But honestly, they would have liked the Friskies tin too as they were both big animal lovers. This is a long winded way of saying STFU to those cast members giving Sutton a hard time. How one cherishes and deals with the remains of their loved ones is no one else's business.

What was even more disturbing to me is that both Erica and Garcelle have sons who are, I would imagine, older than Storm. Icky. Do they think it would be a compliment if their sons were treated in such a manner? I don't understand Annemarie bragging about her husband and children. As we know, her husband has a questionable past. And from what I have seen of her children, they seem to run the show. Hardly the home life I would want. Not to mention, having 7, 4 and 3 year old children at the age of 40? No thanks. I did like Sutton pointing out that she felt lonelier married than she does single. I find it odd that such an accomplished person (supposedly) as Annemarie puts such a high price on marriage. Half end in divorce, and of the half that don't, how many are truly happy? I am lucky to be in the percentage of marriages that is a happy one, but certainly know those who are not. I think Sutton and Garcelle should have a spin off show. They could call it "Lonely and Insecure". And of course show that they are neither of those things. I'd watch it over Annemarie's show, "Unsolicited and Incorrect" any day.

My point was that I am sure he knew why they were moving to Vietnam....... I hope they are able to dig up evidence to convict the father too, as well as Wendi.

Wendi is a really bad actress. Her crying at the police station when she found out that her ex had been murdered was laughable. I actually did laugh when she wailed "My poor children". The children that she tried to move away from her ex, and was only stopped by a judge? The ex that the family was going to try to buy off with a million dollars to go away and abandon his children? The children that she changed the last name of, and the ones that she kept from their paternal grandparents for six years, only to then allow visitation when said grandparents were successful in having a law passed so they could see their grandchildren? Those poor children? STFU Wendi. I don't for a minute think that Wendi had no clue what was going to happen to Dan, and I think the charade was carried on even up until Donna made those phone calls complaining that Wendi had basically abandoned her brother. After all, the whole point of the murder was to get Wendi sole custody of the kids. One would think if she ends up being implicated down the road, the kids would go to their paternal grandparents if maternal grandma, uncle and mom are all convicted? I don't know how maternal grandpa hasn't been arrested. Wasn't he fleeing to Vietnam as well? I hope when those kids are old enough, they shun any maternal family members, take back their rightful surname and are able to start to make up for the time with their paternal family members that their maternal family members took away from them.

I just finished watching the Netflix version and found it worth watching. As often happens when two (or even more) outlets cover the same case, different info is revealed. I'll share a few things below but will put it under spoilers, so that I don't give away info for anyone that may want to watch the Netflix version.

How very Dorit to complain at a charity event for people who are homeless, and may or may not be toothless depending on if they have yet been helped, that the place settings are wrong, the colour of the flowers are not acceptable, and that the carpet needs to be updated. (OK, that one was PK). OMFG. There have been so many strange events in the RH franchises, that when Jeff mentioned to Crystal about a Brave Little Toaster event, I actually thought to myself "There is a charity in BH for toasters?". In my defense, I do not know the series and had to google it. Way too much time given to Annemarie. I would be embarrassed if I were her employer.

Loved the season, and the ending at the Lyon home. Like others, I was shouting at Witt for going after Roy by himself. It was obvious when that happened that he was going to die. I'm glad that at least Indira adopted Lucky. What I didn't understand is why Witt's tombstone said "Beloved Brother", not "Beloved Son and Brother" since Indira said that Witt's mom brought his six sisters to the service? Odd things like that bug me. Lol.

Oh, I don't mean because Nick would stand to inherit. I just think that anyone evil enough to plan to kill the people who adopted him from an orphanage and gave him every advantage in life, could be evil enough to finish the task. If only because Corey doesn't buy his remorse act and he will not have wormed his way back into her life. We have seen cases where an adult child has murdered a parent and tried but failed to murder the second parent. And the surviving parent has gone on not only to forgive the child but let that child back into their life. Nick always it appeared got his way, right up until Corey tried to hold him accountable for the money he owed them. I think he is evil enough to blame Corey for ruining his life. I don't believe for a minute that he has remorse, other than remorse for not being successful in his plan.
