  1. Did anyone else notice Jasmine (cheerleader) having veneers?
  2. I view Gary as a walking-STD at this point and cannot understand why any woman would want to sleep with him. :::shudder::: Do none of these people care about those anymore? Men can have undetected HPV (and I don't think there is even a test available for that in men, but pls correct if I'm wrong), and that can lead to all sorts of nasty problems for women. Not to mention any of the other STDs.
  3. As per the article posted above, this is the website for the place Kim is reportedly building a home - https://madisonclubca.com/
  4. That is so sad. The host of a podcast I really like was killed while riding his bike recently. Its shocking how life can change in an instant.
  5. I've been a fan of Clint from the beginning. I can't fault Gina if she is truly unable to feel sexually attracted to him, but he has qualities that are important in a spouse - he's a good listener, and has emotional intelligence. Gina commented on that after their talk on the porch - that she felt better after talking to him. That is a sign of someone really taking in what you're saying and giving you a response that moves you forward from where you were at the beginning of the conversation. Its more than just basic sympathy. I think Clint's DMs will be filling up after the show. Its interesting to see both Chris and Nicole continue enacting the dysfunctional patterns they've each identified as problematic in their past relationships. Chris knows he has a tendency to be too passive and just go along with everything. Nicole knows she can be a steamroller. And yet.... this insight has not led to meaningful change. It would have been a really great thing for their relationship if Chris had said no to wearing the dinosaur costume. It would be the first step in helping both of them break out of their patterns. If they continue on like this, their relationship will never last. I think the impetus is more on Chris than Nicole because in this type of dynamic, the passive person is the one who isn't giving their partner honest feedback - they withhold that due to various fears and insecurities. They need to give honest feedback when they don't like something, or don't agree, or don't want to do something, and they need to learn how to tolerate the feelings that come with being assertive. The burden then shifts to the "steam roller" - they have to learn how to manage their feelings when they don't get their way. If the passive one can learn to be properly assertive, and the steam-roller can learn to accept limits, the relationship could become balanced and healthy.
  6. Question about Stacey's wedding. I noticed that the hair dressers put both their hair in what appeared to be small pinned curls - it didn't look like the hair was around rollers. But then they both wore their hair brushed out in very loose waves. Does anyone who knows about hair what the reason would be to set their hair in all those curls to get that effect? Why not just use a curling iron for loose waves after their hair is already down?
  7. I have to hope they were not serving the children sushi that had tuna in it. (Not sure if young kids would eat that anyway- raw). Why you might ask? Very random but I recently stumbled on this research study about the effects of eating lots of tuna and other fish known to have high mercury. If you scroll to page 20 of the PDF (or 14 on the printed pages), you can read the case studies of what happened to people who were eating lots of fish on a regular basis - https://mercurypolicy.org/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/mppoverthelimit.pdf
  8. After years of watching hundreds of hours of reality tv, I've come to the conclusion that the trait that all these people share is being shameless.
  9. Someone upthread mentioned they liked Nicole's swim outfit - well, Land's End offers these beauties for the bottoms. I think it was the previous episode but what really struck me was when Nicole was sitting in the living room with Mamood's family and there was a woman wearing the full head covering with just a narrow open slot for the eyes. I forget the name for that. But I spent that whole segment looking at her and I just cannot imagine what it would be like to have that heavy fabric covering my entire head and face all the time. There is something seriously unsettling about it to me. Even worse that this is done in a place that is very warm. I actually liked Nicole's comment that Mamood should wear the burkini. That would have been a great segment to see him put that on and see how he liked it. Same with the head covering .. would love for all the men to have to wear those around for a few weeks and see how they like it.
  10. Ok, I thought I had that right. It reminded me of Ryan on his way to his wedding on Teen Mom
  11. Was it just me or was Eric nodding off while they were driving home before she left him in the middle of the road? I suppose he could just be very tired.
  12. It has always driven me batty when they allow duos or trios on this show.
  13. I found this to a very inspiring episode. It was so refreshing to see someone read Dr. Now's book and then just start following it to the T. And then for his mom and brother to come with him and have everyone join in on the diet plan together. Also for Chris to be able to reconnect with his mom after so many years. It was impressive to see how much weight he lost - down into the 300lbs. I hope he can get a good job again and stay on a healthy track, never falling back into his old habits.
  14. I've found myself thinking that there were many parallels between Girardi and Alex Murdaugh, with the main one being that they took funds meant for trust accounts. It makes me wonder how widespread this type of behavior is. They can't be the only two attorneys in the whole US who've been doing it.
  15. I know it wouldn't help, particularly now with food prices being what they are, but I always wished they would include the financial aspect of overeating in this series. I thought it would make for a good segment to have a budgeting person sit down and total up their food bill for a week, and then go to the local grocery store and see what they could buy with that money. Also, for them to compare their monthly food spending against their total budget and see what percentage is going to food. It might be a bit of wake-up call for some of them.
  16. This episode did something that I have rarely seen on any other episode. When they stopped at the fast -food drive through on their first road trip to Houston, they included the fast food employee saying, "and that will be $47.xx" - they usually never mention the price of the food they're buying. They must have spent easily $400 each way just on food on that trip.
  17. Thanks! Yes, the 90 Day Fiance: Other Spinoffs and Specials is now showing in my Forums... but the topic Darcey and Stacey is not.
  18. Not sure what might be going on here ... I am subscribed to the 90 Day Fiance Forum, which appears in my Forums list. I am also subscribed to several of the sub-forums of the 90 Day Fiance forum. Each of these sub-forums shows up separately on my Forums list. Except one. The 90 Day Fiance: Other Spinoffs and Specials forum. It never shows up in my Forums list even though I am subscribed to it (it appears in my Managed Followed Content section). Connected to this is another issue. I am subscribed to several Topics, and they all show up in both my Manage Followed Content section and my Forums list. Except one. The Darcey and Stacey topic, which happens to be in the 90 Day Fiance: Other Spinoffs and Specials forum. It makes me wonder if some setting in the 90 Day Fiance: Other Spinoffs and Specials forum is off. Any help appreciated!
  19. Maybe its just me, but $80+ for THREE candles? I was amazed a shop that seemed to only be selling candles could stay in business. This whole candle scenario is a perfect example of why these people live the way they do and end up where they do - its stupid decision after stupid decision, yet justified in their minds for "reasons". Someone who just got out of prison, who has no job, who is with a woman who has no money, no home, is leasing an expensive car... they decide they need to spend $80 for a gift for a woman who owns a large home and appears to be doing just fine financially. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.
  20. When I go to southhemitv website and search for this show, it says its not available. eta: I got it to work.
  21. I don't know if you can still watch them, but there was a great show called 24 to Life which followed people for the 24 hours before they went into prison to serve their sentence. They would not reveal the crime until the end of the episode. It was an excellent show. Here is the link: https://www.mylifetime.com/shows/24-to-life
  22. I could not believe they spent over $500 on that meal! Did they even have a fridge in their hotel room? I hope so because they had a stack of takeout boxes when they left. It doesn't seem like the type of food that would taste very good as leftovers. Are we surprised about the girl who decided not to pick her man up at the train station in Jersey? Is it Gabrielle? I am bad with names on these shows. There is a theme that when these guys get out of prison, the women expect them to be completely at their beck and call and almost like a puppet that they control completely.
  23. on DirecTV, it says the episode number for part 2 of the Tell-All is 19, and its on Discovery Plus, not TLC.
  24. My DirecTV is saying this half of the tell all is on a channel I don't get. Weird.
