I wouldn’t want to tell that story lol. I would feel like a fool. If I had sex with some guy and then right away he asked me for money to help his sick mother, I’d probably regret I slept with him. But then some people are gullible and might believe him. I also think Chelsea is just a woman trying to fit it. Wanting to feel cool with her model friend. I feel like Saxon his harmless. Just somewhat of a generic guy. I just love Sam Rockwell trying to talk his way through the lie after lie. Mike White is a brilliant writer and director.

I love me some Stephen Dorff but is that plot going to go anywhere this year or will it be the same as last year? They never followed up on beating him up in season 3 and this year I don’t think they will follow up on starting his church on fire.

This movie was not good. How did it win best picture. Demi Moore should definitely won. All this girl did was say f$ck 1000 times.

Totally agree. I prefer weathered with chest hair than young and oiled down with 6 pack abs.

Would Mikey Madison have won if she didn’t show and do what she did in that movie? I haven’t watched it but I have seen clips and its borders on porn. I do think Emma Stone deserved the Oscar last year for her acting in Poor Things but would she have won it if she didn’t do and show essentially same thing Mikey did?

I watched this last night. I thought it was just ok. Some of the dialogue didn’t ring true. Especially when they first met. Something just didn’t flow well with the story. It also felt very rom com in some places. The cliche being an artist/writer/store owner (in this case a flower store) The playing hard to get and not just dating like a normal couple. The quirky friend. And on a more trivial note what was up with the clothes? I think Blake Lively is pretty but some of the style choices were just off. Her hair and outfit I thought was ridiculous in the party scene.

Inviting your 16 year old daughter to have sex in your house is just not something I can condone. So the father showed a video to his son (or was it just telling him about choking porn). His son shows it to his cousin and his cousin tries it on a girl who gets scared and runs in to traffic. While the father seemed like an asshole, I don’t think he should be held responsible for the girl being hit by a car? Is Benson obsessed with someone being raped. Like she can’t ever accept anything other than rape.

This show was entertaining but I just wish writers would tone down the cutesy, clever dialogue in some of these movies and shows. People don’t always have one liners for everything and know exactly what to say at every given moment. It just not natural.

Anyone watch this? It’s great.

I thought this was fun. You have to completely suspend reality but it’s entertaining and Josh Hartnett is great in it.

Did anyone watch this? I watched it because I like Harry Connick Jr. and I didn’t hate it but the cheese factor was high. The acting subpar and I felt there was no chemistry between him and his true love. And why didn’t the singer (won’t say who she is to avoid spoilers) have an accent? A small Greek town she grew up in and she sounded like she was from California.

Really liked this episode. Liked the conversation with Mikey. 46? I thought she seemed older than that. But I guess the actress is 52 in real life which I guess goes with the timeline. I’m a few years older and I always apply online. Going into stores with a resume seems like someone over 65 might do.

I really liked it. Acting good and I love the era. Did they say what Benny and Kathy did for a living? They had a house but was it ever said how they had money?

This is one of my favorites. The fight scene between Linderman and Mike is so real. No music or special effects. Just a real brutal fight. And bonus it’s filmed in Chicago.

I knew that was happening the minute she showed up at the bar. It’s so predictable and cliche. Doesn’t this show have any originality? The dialogue between the 2 interns doing data entry, writing code etc was so cringy. Oh and then the cliche let’s have sex but then pretend we don’t have any feelings for each other.

I just can’t with this show anymore. The car accident and affair plot was so stupid. And what person actually talks to the dr’s about their sex life? Especially dr’s (or anyone) they don’t even know? Can’t they ever make this show realistic? Also is everyone gay or bi on this show? That is usually is a non issue but on this show it just seems so contrived. So many characters have a past same sex relationship or start a new one and then bring on all the guest stars that hit on Schmitt or are having an affair. And I am so over the oh I despise you but really I want to have sex with you but I’m going to be all clever and pretend I don’t want it but really I want to have sex in a car but going to pretend that’s the last thing I want and be all sarcastic about it with fake banter. Oh and then there is the patients telling private relationship issues to the dr and then that dr having an epiphany about their own life.

In my experience I’ve never known of racism against Indians. There are so many Indian families I grew up with and also live in the area now. We all went to their houses and nobody acted like Kelly’s mother did in this. Of course Reena doesn’t deserve to be murdered in any way but I feel less empathy towards here after she accused her father of something so horrible. I like Cam but didn’t miss the story line between her and Rebecca since I feel it’s so forced nowadays just to make sure all gender, race, sexually orientation aspects are covered.

I knew from the minute Rebecca saw Cam at the police dept they were lovers. Is that part of the real story or added for DEI? I mean years ago I would never assume they were lovers at first glance but now I’m conditioned to think everyone is gay in tv and movies because they usually are. I am intrigued by the show. I haven’t watched Killers of the Flower Moon but I think Lily Gladstone is very good.

And how do these men know Schmitt is gay? Yes I know gaydar and all but I don’t think he gives off a vibe on first meeting. I am so sick of women on this show acting all conflicted and dismissive and dramatic over relationships. Just be normal! One thing that always annoyed me about this show is when someone goes to the person they are having issues with and go right into monologue. “When I was a kid my father left and after that I had being left issues and I am so worried about being left and if I love you will you leave and will I be left again”. and and and. Made up quote but you get it.

So Kelly goes to pick up the girl instead of an armed officer? Okkk and then goes back to check for the money by himself when there are violent drug dealers out there that almost killed him?

I joked that Liv was going to adopted her lol. Is it me or did she talk to that kid like she was 5 years old. “You’re going to live with your grandma, would you like that?” Or whatever she whispered like she was speaking to a toddler. And she felt sorry for Tory? Ok she had been through a lot but they way she murdered those victims was not someone you would necessarily feel sorry for.

Halle Berry knew she would win. That was an act in my opinion. At the time I though she was over the top in her reaction. We can never know who is genuinely surprised they won. Emma seemed surprised but she is an actor. Unfortunately you just don’t know. Actors can fool you. I thought Emma was really good in Poor Things but would she have won over Lily if it wasn’t for her “fearless” (as they say) nudity? I didn’t watch Killers of the Flower Moon but I thought Lily would win so they can talk about the first indigenous person to win best actress. You know Hollywood likes to reiterate that instead of the actual performance. The Trump joke was lame. I just don’t like those jokes at awards shows. It alienates people.

I was prepared to hate this but I didn’t. Can’t say I agree with the women empowerment implied (I almost felt bad for Mark Ruffalos character) and there were some scenes I could have done without but I overall it kept my interest and the acting was good.
