I will still buy my advance ticket, and I will likely enjoy the ride, just like I did with TFA, TLJ, Rogue One and Solo. They all evoke the OT for me, though it probably helps that I never got into the EU.

It's been a long day, and I'm tired, and I'm also tired of Ali. So I didn't pay as much attention as I usually do. Justin's swaying was a little annoying, although I did notice that it slowed/stopped when he got behind. Perth crossed my mind for FJ, but in the end I settled on Brisbane, which as we know, is wrong.

Kinda like Hugh Grant's flatmate in "Notting Hill"? Mind you, he did think it was yogurt at first, but didn't stop eating it when he found out it was mayonnaise.

I did have to look up "pedanticism" and make sure it was a word. LOL

I'll see your pedanticism and raise you one -- it's spelled "genera". ;)

Total blank for FJ tonight. I could have stood there all night and never had a clue. I did get manicotti, platypus, Brady Bill, and Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings, though. Ali starting at the bottom of categories is pissing me off. He can lose any time now. For reals.

Clara's last name changed constantly, and once her first name was Bertha. -
Commercials That Annoy, Irritate or Outright Enrage

I was introduced to Duke's when I moved to Raleigh for grad school. I love it! I was disappointed when I moved to Virginia that (at that time) no one sold it. That changed a few years back, and now Duke's is the only mayo I'll buy. -
I confidently said Truman for FJ, but then started thinking about it, and waffled between Dewey and Truman. Unfortunately, in the end, I picked Truman. Boo, hiss. Ali pissed me off with the starting at the bottoms of categories and working his way up, so I just couldn't root for him, though I wanted to. Better him than middle girl, I guess.

It was hilarious watching her watching SNL. I really enjoyed it. Perhaps it didn't offer new information for many of us of a certain age, but I suspect that people who might not know the foundations of feminism (and how recent some of SCOTUS' decisions regarding equal rights were) might learn something. And on a shallow note, RBG needs to shut down her granddaughter's vocal fry before the girl hurts herself.

Princess Atta didn't have to con her way into the highest office of the ant colony.

So glad middle girl didn't win! Also I laughed and laughed when she kept starting in the middles of categories, and the DDs would be one clue up. Gee, middle girl, maybe if you'd started at the tops, you would have found the DDs sooner (or at all)! FJ was an instaget for me -- what other toy has liquid and a die, and is shaken? I couldn't think of anything else. I also got chicken, wonk, chain, and speculators, and noticed Alex only managed a feeble attempt at a Scottish accent before giving up halfway through the cock-a-leekie clue.

The look Billy Idol gives the woman who asks, "What's the Mile High Club?" never fails to crack me up. I love that movie, too.

Maybe when she said she wanted to make restitution she meant restitution to herself.

Commercials That Annoy, Irritate or Outright Enrage

So much this. I despise Febreze. -
I loved all their theme songs, too.

I completely blanked on FJ tonight. I knew it wasn't Madagascar, but couldn't for the life of me think of any other islands off the coast of Africa, and also couldn't remember what on the church calendar is 40 days after Easter. I guess I should have paid more attention back in the day when my parents made me go to church (and Sunday school!) every week. I only got the missed DD of Tudor, and that was a guess. My brain let me down tonight -- I should have gotten sewing machine and Albee, but they were lost in the neural folds. I guess Jon's skit as a kid was prophetic after all. It didn't bother me that he lost -- I mostly just wanted him to step up the pace a bit. I like the new champ... for now.

I just got back, and I enjoyed it quite a lot. I think Jack-Jack's battle with the trash panda was my favorite bit.
