  1. It seems like the Berlanti Productions is trying to make The Flash the worst show in Arrowverse, by a wide margin.
  2. So the premise of this show is that Raimy remembers the events in her life before and after history is changed. However, with each episode history is changed incrementally. Does she remember all the branches of her timeline? Just as example: Timeline 1: Frank died in 1996, Raimy grew up only with Julie. Timeline 2: Frank lived until 2011, Julie died in 1996, Raimy grew up with Frank. Timeline 3: If somehow Julie was saved, Frank may or may not survive. Continue with each episode, and Raimy shall have problem with her brain containing memories of multiple lifetimes.
  3. Beauty is on the eye of the beholder indeed, but the actress does have her spread on Maxim.
  4. Did I miss anything with this show? Does Laurel have two fathers?
  5. I stand corrected. I must have thought about another show where the mark is appearing in the present in antique form while it is being burned 'simultaneously' in the past.
  6. My nitpick, and this actually was depicted 'correctly' in the original movie. When Frank in 1996 burns the wooden box, why is it burning and smoking in 2016? The burning process has been completed 20 years ago. In the movie the box in present day shows old burning mark that appearing slowly.
  7. If pretending to be somebody a man is not to get to women's pants is a crime, then How I Met Your Mother was not a comedy. It was actually a crime drama where the criminals were the protagonists. I mean, this was the thing that Barney Stinson did every single episode. In fact, The Bro Code could have been considered the prima facie evidence of a serial rapist.
  8. Oh, I forgot to add. So when it is Flash's fingers on the keyboard, the computer works on super speed? How does that work, exactly?
  9. Where is the non-Flash Barry Allen of the alternate timeline? One of the worst and meaningless episodes of the series, I might say.
  10. Why did a military helicopter doing a mission use 'N' tail number, denoting it a civilian aircraft? Why would anyone use FIM-92 Stinger as anything else than an anti-aircraft weapon? It is an infrared homing (heat seeking) missile. How would it be used for ground target? And what kind of stupid idea is the remote control separate from the launcher? So I guess agent neck-beard does not know much about birth control? So Agent Barker of the DEA is innocent? Her withdrawing a bundle of cash and passport is just a red herring?
  11. This ex-Montrealer needed to calm his wife and kid who were simply too excited watching the race unfolded in places that were our playgrounds, some of them literally. Ah, je reviendrai à Montréal... To the race, starting at St-Viateur roadblock, it was obvious that Steph and Kristen had it in the bag. Her efficiency in looking for the address was all the difference. I suspect that the gap between Steph and Kristen and Jill and Emmett was not as close as TPTB wanted us to believe. As for After the Race, I turned it off after 5 minutes in season 1, I could not stand The Social women. Now they tried to pull it again? I tuned out right after I saw them. What? James Duthie was not available? What did he do? He was not involved in CFL this season and NHL was not yet started.
  12. And the men wearing the same uniform as he was were Marines? C'mon man... And even if they were, why "your CNO"? The Marines have their Commandant and AFAIK a typical Marine is more fanatical to his CMC than a Soldier to his CSA or a Sailor to his CNO. YMMV, of course.
  13. The Colonel in charge of the detachment wore 'U.S. Army' tape on his right chest. Could not be more clear than that (that they were not Marines).
  14. Marines do not wear U.S. flag on the right shoulder of their uniform, and definitely they do not wear ACU - Army Combat Uniform. Instead they would wear MCCUU.
  15. Yay! The series finale! Boo! No, it's not! Well, it is for me... So Navy is good and Army is evil? Fuck you show! Or let me rephrase... Navy is steel-eyed square-jaw men and women with ice in their veins and command of confidence in their voices while Army is a bunch of gullible and misled sheeples who need strong Navy man to tell them which one is right and wrong? Fuck you show! On the other hand "CNO of the United States"? "Your CNO" to Soldiers? Do TPTB not know what CNO is and his responsibility? So I guess the virus is capable to infect the Aegis Combat System aboard this Arleigh Burke-class destroyer as the ship is completely incompetent against one single MQ-9 Reaper drone. The destroyer is suppose to provide anti-aircraft protection to a CV Battle Group and she is barely able to protect herself without resorting to WWII-era trickery. And just because the drone is remotely-controlled, it does not mean that it is invisible or stealth. It is not equipped with stealth technology. Lastly, the drone control fits into a briefcase? Reaper's flight envelopes is not that dissimilar to a conventional aircraft its size. Its control environment is as big as a cockpit. We are suppose to suspend our believe with the others, but others have their own explanation, mainly with the VBSS bullshit. But Kara, a deck officer whose duty was the CIC is now Infantry / Special Warfare? Okay then... With the virus killed 90% of the population, New York City is still a city that never sleeps with bars, hookers and car horns honking? Now that we are talking bullshit, when the Nathan James was under drone attack why did she not retaliate by sending Tomahawk to STL White House?
  16. When I think deeper into the premise of the show, I have my doubt about the longevity of the show. So we have a lower-profile cabinet member that got unexpectedly ascended to the Presidency. I would think that the story will focus around how he, who may not have enough knowledge, experience or ambition to be a President, take the reign, fight the enemy and navigate the intricate political landscape. However, after a season, would he still be a Designated Survivor or would he be the President of the United States? It would make no sense at all if after a season we will still see Kiefer's character in his naivete.
  17. So the authentication for the missile is the finger prints of any two persons? That Colonel, was he not a Marine and the defense attache in Bogota, Colombia? :-) With all the Navy porn the show shows us in the last three seasons, too bad it does not include Army. I threw up in my mouth a bit looking at the General not fastening his collar and at the full-color SSI on the ACU. So the chain of command in Castillo's Army is General (O-10), then Lieutenant (O-3)? Nobody in between? Okay then...
  18. Just like Flashpoint, they finally admit explicitly to be Canadian on the series finale...
  19. So a team can use the U-Turn picture more than once? Boo...!! Not liking it. I rescind my praise to Joel since he did not even carry the log while the women before him did. And Joel and Ashley and Rita and Yvette should get DQ. They did not perform Farmer's Walk. Cannoneer Bombardier? What a coincidence.
  20. CMIIW, child's locks are only on the rear doors of a car (where the children are suppose to be).
  21. So this is how Cubans keep those antique cars running, by making home-made gaskets out of old tires? Scary. OTOH, kudos for their defiance in the face of the embargo. Why Stephanie uses the caliper for lathing? It is a precision instrument, not a tool. Kudos for team Joel to jump from last place to 2nd. Yes, it is team Joel. There is nobody else... :)
  22. No kidding. The Arleigh-Burke class is equipped with Aegis Combat System. It has multiple-layers of anti-air defenses. Not only to defense the ship herself, but her whole task force.
  23. TIL that being in Naval Intelligence, one is fluent in Japanese, Vietnamese, Chinese (both Mandarin and Cantonese dialects), Tagalog and Korean. Very impressive. A feat that only few (if any) master, even those in linguistic domain as those languages are radically different.
  24. I want to talk about "Doc" Rios. So in between seasons he received his commission and became the Chief Medical Officer of Nathan James. However, when did he suddenly get the knowledge and experience as a physician? Not only that he now conducts C-section, he is also well-versed on the pathology of the virus, another discipline that requires another training in pathology.
  25. And once again, everybody is Infantry. Surface warfare or spy, they are all well-versed in CQB. Just to comment that nobody here picks: When attacked by the snipers, Chandler changed his weapon from rifle to pistol. What good does it do, really? My biggest gripe, they called artillery fire using an UAV video of a flying helicopter (!). What happened with good old grid and coordinates? ETA: Why in the world does Green hold both pieces of (presumably) Cruz's dog tag?
