"They had really good frogs." Huh? Flora's "bird girl" story was cute. Of course Ian's mold was home made. I wonder if he went out in his car and ran down animals on purpose. All of those game pies looked really well made, though I don't think I would like the meats they had used. I'm not into game. I wonder if a curry pie would have been acceptable. Tamal's macarons looked more grey than purple. Paul was only using 1 1/2 gelatin sheets and Tamal was using something like 6 or 7. Hooray for Tamal, well deserved. His russe looked amazing.

Is that voice recognition supposed to be able to recognize Jernard's overpronunciation? Of course Ana was the most competitive. Also probably the least liked. Damn, those beignets looked good. Tregaye is authentic? Hm. We have different definitions of that word. They really went with "On Fleek Eats"? Ugh. Wow, what a surprise. How has this not been telegraphed for weeks now? Nope, I won't be watching. "I know you wanted to win" is a stupid thing to say, Bobby. I guess Tregaye's family doesn't have to live on the streets now. smh

OLTL Outside Llanview: The Cast In Other Roles
Rick Kitchen replied to Chairperson Meow's topic in One Life To Live
I saw Cabaret today at Sacramento Music Circus today, and the role of Fraulein Schneider was played by Mary Gordon Murray (Becky Lee). She was really good in the role. The lead male role, that of Cliff, was played by an actor named Ryan Hunter Herdlicka, who apparently had a role in the online reboot, but I don't remember him. -
Cabaret today. Awesome, of course, although I was a little surprised that some of the raunch was toned down. Robin De Jesus - emcee - https://www.ibdb.com/broadway-cast-staff/robin-de-jesús-412407 Kaleigh Cronin - Sally Bowles - http://kaleighcronin.com/headshotresume/ Cliff - Hunter Ryan Herdlicka - http://www.broadwayworld.com/people/Hunter-Ryan-Herdlicka/ Fraulein Schneider - Mary Gordon Murray - http://www.playbill.com/person/mary-gordon-murray-vault-0000066121 Ron Wisniski - Herr Schultz - http://www.ronwisniski.com/RESUME.html Robin De Jesus was born for the role of the emcee. He was perfect. Equally mysterious, twinkly and frightening. Kaleigh Cronin didn't do much for me till she sang "Cabaret" in the second act, when she absolutely killed. Loved it. Herdlicka was rather weak as an actor, but he has a gorgeous voice. I remember Mary Gordon Murray from her many years on "One Life to Live", and I know she's had a Tony nomination in the past. She was really good in the role. But to me, the star of the night was Ron Wisniski. Powerful, wistful voice, and when he sang "Married" (I would have preferred if they had used "Heirat", but whatever), for me, anyway, he outshone everybody in the cast. I kept thinking of current politics during the entire play. Next up is Nice Work if You Can Get It.

Australian team robbed during a fire alarm evacuation. My first though was, aren't there guards at the Olympic Village? But now they're speculating that the new guards may have done the robbery. -

Bob Melvin really needs to go. He has utterly destroyed Sonny Gray by keeping him in when he gives up big runs and he has no confidence left. Gray has given up 7 runs in something like four innings today. He just doesn't have it. Melvin does not any longer know how to handle pitchers.

The Indians had an Indians Hall of Fame recognition ceremony this evening for Oakland broadcaster Ray Fosse. His co-broadcaster Glen Kuiper noted that not only is his broadcasting team mate Fosse in the Indians' hall of fame, but so is his brother, Duane Kuiper (who does broadcasts for the Giants).

Riz Ahmed is an English actor of Pakistani ethnicity who plays a tech millionaire with the not-specifically ethnic name of Aaron Capoor (not sure what ethnicity that is supposed to be) who isn't a bad guy in Jason Bourne. At least, no more of a bad guy than any other character in those movies. But most definitely not a Muslim terrorist. The bad guys are really Tommy Lee Jones and French actor Vincent Cassel (whose character has no name, but works for the CIA).

I'm not going to post it here, but Brad Everett Young posted an almost nude photo of Casey Moss (he's holding a towel in front of him) on his (Brad's) facebook page and his portfolio. Here's the link to the gallery ... http://dreamloudofficial.com/portfolio-4/#prettyPhoto Interestingly, he credited Johnathon McClendon (Chase) as "artistic director". -
I have to wonder if they're going to kill off Steve in this movie. And what happens to her shield?
-
I've always enjoyed the Bourne movies (though, UO, I liked Jeremy Renner better than Matt Damon), and Jason Bourne is no exception. Loved the extended Athens fight and escape, and the Las Vegas car chase was exceptional The final encounter was brutal as heck. So, yeah, I'm entertained. I don't like that they killed Nicky (I'm in love with Julia Styles), and the biggest plot hole for me was how they were able to track Nicky all over Europe by facial recognition, but not Bourne. Man, Alicia Vikander was as cold in this as she was as a robot in Ex Machina. Interesting that they cast Riz Ahmed (is he of Arabic ethnicity) as the software guru without going with "Arab terrorist".
