Justin is the DA. Him representing a private client would probably not be A Good Thing. -
The People's Court - General Discussion

I just saw an ad for the new season saying that Doug Llewellyn is coming back. No indication if he's replacing Harvey or Kurt, but either would be great. -
Whoopi's interview with the woman who created Sirius XD and her family was fascinating. Three brilliant people in one family.

Ryan Lochte has dyed his hair what he's calling "ice blue". It looks white, to me. http://www.today.com/style/ryan-lochte-dyed-his-hair-icy-blue-rio-see-his-t101357

He's in high school when he finds the first Key. And it took him five years to find it. And Wade describes himself as fat.

Why does it make you feel good to see things fail that people have been hoping for for months, if not years?

It hasn't stopped Dead Colonel Sanders. They're just following the lead of Giada DeLaurentiis from Food Network Star. -

Did we know Adrienne visited Sonny in Paris? "Middle aged" doesn't mean anything, hotel guy. Give us an age range. Did the lady have an ID? Why is Caroline wearing a sweater in the middle of summer? Is Marlena going to object to Paul and Sonny? What happened to Marlena and John's plans to be married at Wrigley Field? Oh, dammit, Victor. And now Sonny has pledged to do anything to protect Victor? Including covering up the kidnapping? Why is it weird that Gabi is dating Sonny's cousin, when she used to be married to Will's cousin? I loved John's reaction when Theresa hugged him. I wonder if the cliffhanger for the Olympic break will be a revelation that Victor is involved in the kidnapping. That book seemed a little old for Ariana. -

Rio Scandals: Is It Ready, Will The Place Kill You & More!

The main pier at the yachting venue has collapsed in high winds. -
Eric Bolling said just the other day that it was the Bush administration who took down Bin Laden, and not Obama. I wish they would have followed up on his complaints about the poor companies who have to go overseas to take jobs away from American workers, because Trump wants to require companies to come back to the US by imposing harsh tariffs on their goods, and won't that do more damage to the corporate bottom lines than just keeping jobs here in the first place? The right is really good at repeating the lies about Benghazi and the economy, even though the lies have been refuted over and over again.

I went back on NutriSystem after having spent only a month on it a couple of years ago, and after three months, I'm down 22 pounds. Almost halfway to my goal. I'm really getting bored with the food, but it sure works. :)

Faux Life: Things That Happen On TV But Not In Reality
Rick Kitchen replied to Kromm's topic in Everything Else TV
Kyle from One Life to Live probably kept the candle business going single-handedly for the whole time he and his boyfriend were on screen. -
Finally got around to start reading Ready Player One. Really like it so far. The 80s trivia is strong with this one. I read that Steven Spielberg will be removing all references to his works out of the movie, in order to avoid being accused of playing favorites. I think Tye Sheridan is too old and too good looking for the part, unless he's just going to be an avatar through the whole thing.

Wow, they acknowledged that Ciara and Claire are related! Hooray for Hope calling Jennifer out for her motives. I hate when men say they want to "protect" their woman. Nice callback to Philip and Belle's history. Er, Shawn, what Philip and Belle were talking about was, literally, his business. -
That "we all need a hug in the morning" song from the Huggies diaper ad is apparently an old Irish folk song.

There's going to be a gender-reversed remake of Splash, with Jillian Bell in the Tom Hanks role and Channing Tatum as the merperson. http://jezebel.com/channing-tatum-will-star-in-a-splash-remake-as-the-damn-1784660746 -
The A's are dedicated to destroying the fan support so that they can move someplace else. How else to explain their ridiculous decision to trade Reddick and Hill for prospects. "See, the fans don't come, we have to move." Maybe if they actually tried to produce a winning team? I can't imagine how the locker room feels about this "trade".
