As a measure of how bad this show has got Fiona & I made the decision last night to remove it from our recording list. Shows have to get bad for us to even consider removing them never mind actually go through with it as we both have to have given up.

This is despite the fact that California has more Republican voters than the majority of red states, but they can suffer because the state voted blue.

It's a nothing subject that stupid people, but usually Rs, keep bringing up because while they're banging on about stupid shit like trans athletes & anything else trans nobody is watching the real awful stuff happening in America at the moment, especially the R base who think it matters more than the price of eggs etc. It's all smoke & mirrors by R leadership to distract both sets of voters while they rip out the heart & soul of the country all over something that effects about 5 people in the whole country each year. It's one of those shows that doesn't seem to get a reaction either way, it's just there & isn't much loved or hated by many if any. Now, Ghosts on the other hand seems to have a love it or hate it vibe if you read the message boards. Those that hate it generally fall into 2 categories, some people just don't find it funny while others think it's not funny because the original British version is 100x better. I've tried watching it but find the British version funnier probably because I'm British & the humor is more me. I can't watch the U.S. version, it's just not funny & tries too hard to be funny for my taste.

Without a doubt the kid was being used to manipulate the sharks but that doesn't annoy me as much as, "we're offering 5% of our company for $50,000", "great, what are your sales so far?", "$75,000 lifetime sales" GTFOH!

There are a hundred reasons why nobody would know anything had happened to them with the neglect of family, friends, colleagues, employees or associates etc. being number 1001. Sometimes shit happens & no amount of hindsight will stop shit from happening. And I'm sure some of those people are beating themselves up over what they could have done differently without people who don't know them piling on with all sorts of coulda, woulda, shoulda reasoning. The fact that 10 of them voted for censure tells me they have no chance of getting the electorate on their side. If it had been the other way around not one Repuglican would have voted against their own side. That's good to know because I ask a lot & then get some strange looks from other customers so I'm never sure if I should be asking. as for the paying them a real wage, of course they should get paid correctly, most places are not high end & even if they are paid a living wage. I don't think tipping would stop & nobody has suggested it would or should, it hasn't in states where a living wage is paid. Just that it shouldn't be relied on for people to be able to pay their rent.

My old insurance company wouldn't even pay for Chantix to help me stop smoking and nobody can say that's not beneficial to them in the long term. But they (Ins) actually want people to die rather than pay for preventative care because it works out cheaper & therefore better for them in the long run. I will say that they (Ins) are not all the same & some will actually pay for things that are preventative, the one I have now via Mrs. Shrek paid for the Chantix & I had stopped well before the end of the third month after over 40 years of smoking. The other thing is the price, I could have got Chantix myself, but the cost was $900 a month which is ridiculous. Insurance & drug companies are out of control in the USA but they're only going to get worse now. What's a few million $ in backhanders, it's a small price to pay for years of no controls.
