You're right about Covid being a turning point for him & his crew & their dynamics.

She would be crazy to marry him after seeing how he behaved towards her. She said she wanted to prove herself to her future father-in-law but he has tried to be much kinder to her than her "future" husband who keeps not wanting to help her. Nobody else is going to want him after this airs, Fiona was steaming watching it when he wouldn't even give her anything useful when he had the chance. The family dynamics are quite interesting for a few of them. The father of the first guy out just made excuse after excuse for him & if I had ever spoken to either of my parents the way he did I probably wouldn't be around to tell the tale. Talk about enabling bad behavior.

I was once told by someone that if you owe the bank $1,000, they own you but if you owe the bank $10 million you own them because they know they're not getting it back unless you're very successful, so they are more likely to keep plowing money into you hoping that you get there. This may apply to some of these ridiculous people & how they get so far in debt.

One leads to the other I guess, maybe if they had more mechanics working it would be their most profitable day & there would be a lot less complaints about wait times. Just sounds like they're making excuses though for not opening & saving money by cutting out heating, light etc.

And yet Sirius/xm pay him millions upon millions of $s and he has millions of listeners who like him & his interviews, which are better than anyone else's because they're not 10 minutes of hawking their latest project but can last hours & he asks actual questions. I'm not sure he ever had any real relevance, but people have always said they don't like him because he's Howard Stern & they've heard or read things about him.

Funny you should say that about P+ because I was listening to Howard Stern yesterday & he was going off on one about them because he was trying to watch some of the SNL 50 show & it wouldn't let him FF more than 10 seconds at a time & he wasn't happy but he was very frustrated. He's notoriously bad at using streaming services so it may just be him, but his closing comment was "why can't they just copy what Netflix does & call it P+ instead of trying to be different".

Whoopie talking about comedians. Sunny calling normal Jeopardy "white Jeopardy" and then saying "I know because I've been on it" was sort of ridiculous and funnier than most of SNL usually is. Does she not know she's not white?

I believe they are given a list of categories from which to choose. The boning up on each category is up to them & I get the feeling that some of them think they know enough to not bother looking things up.

If the house shown in SD was theirs, I'm way more interested in what they do to afford it because that looked like a very expensive house. He struck me as a nerd who maybe got lucky with crypto or some such thing while she struck me as I don't know what. Maybe "works in tech" is the new code for OF.

I'm pretty sure these tv types sit around a table & someone says "you know how successful this show has been in its current format, why don't we shake it up & make it less popular?". If I remember correctly from the love in paradise or whatever it's called this week thread he's actually pretty close to her age, like 28/29 ish.

Like a lot of things with his name attached to them he is now just phoning it in with zero effort. We bought some frozen "Wellington bites" at Costco with his name attached to them thinking they would be a good snack to have around as Beef Wellington is his specialty and they were fking disgusting, he just took the money & ran on that one for sure.

She has no morals just like 90% of the right. Her father must be spinning in his grave to see that his daughter has zero morality or respect for her father's memory.
