  1. Most of these chefs spend all of their time in the back of the house. They probably don't own front of the house clothes. I think they would be smart to bring along a dessert recipe and an outfit if they get stuck in the front. GROSS ALERT: A friend won't eat anywhere if the servers or preppers are sleeveless because in college she worked at an ice cream place and noticed one day that little clumps of her deoderant were falling into the ice cream. So she would have walked out on Marjorie.
  2. I think the service was reflecting Man Bun and his frenzy....over bearing service...especially when everyone should know they need to eat and discuss. So I think this was an extention of their frustration of Man Bun.
  3. Glad I wasn't the only one who saw Ron Funches...he tweeted about Padma being his ex.
  4. This is interesting...my results came kinda close but not really. I am midwest thru and thru but raised by a military brat who lived all over. I do think some people have a better ear for accents. Especially if you have always lived somewhere. Many years ago when I was answering a phone a guy on the other end not only knew I was NOT a native of where I was working but knew generally where I was from.
  5. I think Isaac's wife likes her slightly crazy cajun man and doesn't want him to change. or maybe she's seen Man Bun another tv show and is using him as a proxy for California Boys.
  6. Annabeth Gish/Liz Bartlett-Trophy Husband's last name was on @midnight last night and she did pretty well.
  7. I thought he didn't make his deposit....but she was chasing him down to get the job done. I wouldn't go as far as friends with benefits but I keep thinking of the whole thing with Annabeth and how Toby gets women ("smart and funny") and I get it...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P1W0qVItUL4
  8. I liked Andy and I thoguht they made great exes...but still don't understand how after having problems getting pregnant with help they get an oops pregnancy???
  9. I think Sorkin had ADD. He would be all about a character, build a great narrative and then (I imagine) be distracted by something shiny and then either stop writing about a character or worse seemed to stop caring. I liked Mallory but I think it would have gotten a little cute for Charlie and Sam dating their bosses daughters. I think every WW fan has a list of candidates we owuld want more of: Lionel Tribbey, Ainsley Hayes, Mendoza, etc.
  10. I always thought this line was a dick move (I applaud your personal use of it to encourage restraint).
  11. What's this about Athelstan? Versailles...where I can find this? I want my vikings back....watched an episode of L&O with ADA Eckbert....his accent comes out when he says "Christian" just a little but it's there.
  12. I say this as a happy lifelong resident of flyover country...he sees an opening to drive a wedge between the Iowa evangelicals who are/were swinging his way and Trump using the assumed insecurity of anyone who doesn't live near salt water. Some candidates/media type need to constantly defend the midwest/south/small town america against a threat most of us could care less about. I would remind Sen Cruz that Iowa had SSM long before New York State. It isn't unlike Sorkin at times and his need to portray Indiana or Dayton, OH as out of touch or the middle of nowhere. 13. Ted Cruz in Drag....that will require some brain bleach
  14. Point 5: I feel like I'm missing something. Why would those be their twins' names? Bartlett Josiah Young and Abraham (the male version of Abigail) then whatever Abbie's maiden name was....Young I could imagine Zoey and Charlie wanting to name one of their children after Charlie's mother. That's their first born...I just didn't know her name.
  15. Totally worth ignoring family and friends. 2. Multiple marriages are common in the military and (this might be a stretch...) but this was the era of Don't Ask Don't Tell and many women were pressured into "relationships" to prove they were not gay (I had a few friends/relatives in the miltary at this time)...a hubby on the USS Whatever was a much better answer. As far as clevage goes...baring a nuns habit or turtleneck clevage happens sometimes. 3. Will isn't everyone's cup of tea....but I'll take mine covered in sugar, thank you very much. 4. I never had a problem with the Toby leak...I think it was a way to process his brother's death...by saving someone else. 5. I agree that Charlie and Zoey are married...they have twins named Bart and Abe.
  16. There's an old story about The Police's first US show...there were like 20 people at the club and they know most of them...but it doesn't stop tons of people from claiming to have been there...had The Jackal been like that...something people talked about and only a few had seen it would have been ok...I have a colleague who trys to have work parties or even client events center around singing so people will tell her she's a great singer (she isn't) and it always ends up being awkward...I can't imagine staying after work so someone could perform a lip sync routine. No, just no.
  17. "The Jackal" and the reaction to it never made any sense to me....it was creepy. I can't wrap my head around a Presidential election where I would like both candidates...where I would really have to think about who I would vote for...except then I would remember Evelyn Baker Lange and come to my senses.
  18. I think pound for pound Josh was smarter BUT Sam has much higher emotional intellegence.
  19. Don't forget that Danny wrote a biography about Abby.
  20. <imagine shaking fist> thanks to all of you....I just watched Celestial Navigation....I love Edward James Almos.
  21. Listen, when you get home tonight you're going to be confronted by the instinct to drink alone. Trust that instinct. Manage the pain. Don't try to be a hero. Toby
  22. I was going to a baking show in Chicago where the winner of CBS' version was a featured "celebrity chef" after looking around online he seems to offer cooking classes at the William Sonoma near him. He got a book deal.
  23. I don't like when people come back for another go...they can tend to chew scenery a little much. Somehow convincing themselves that will keep them around longer.I don't remember Greyson being memorable. I did note that she isn't working in a restaurant but is in a catering company. The redhead from season one came back to All-Stars having done the opposite and went from "difficult" to very zen.
