I can't watch rewatch Rampage. With so many school shootings, theaters, concerts, etc. I can't watch it again.

Astrid & Raphaëlle - General Discussion
andromeda331 replied to swissair100's topic in Astrid & Raphaëlle
I really like this series. I love that they have an main character with autism. It's great watching Astrid progress through the series. Raphelle learning how to work with her. They have a great friendship. I like how much her son warmed up to Astrid. -

I really like Mike too and I'm glad he decided to testify. The Bronx was frustrating they couldn't wait a couple days later? But he told what he saw and even admitted to his own crimes even though he knew what that meant for him. Luckily they dropped the charges. Yes, his mother was horrible. I think she's worse then Evans, he comes off as the asshole that he is. But she chosed to follow him around at the expense of her own son. She's so pathetic begging to Evans to talk to him after her son was convicted. Yeah she and Evans deserve each other. Poor Austin stuck in boarding school even during holidays. Yeah, I didn't expect a long lost daughter. I assumed it was her son. Especially when it came out that they didn't get along. I do feel a little bad for the daughter her mother wouldn't help her for her own sake and her son's. She of course didn't deserve to die for it. It would be interesting to find out how the money turns out. Sonja can sue and probably win now and Douglas sues her. The ending always breaks my heart. It's so well done. Poor Adam. I like the case too. At first everyone assumes it's a hate crime. Which makes sense. I like the girlfriend helping the cops lure her boyfriend and that it was her idea. I agree the state prosecutor should have let Jamie take over. He was an idiot. He was the one who messed up the case. And he even said he hadn't been in a courtroom in awhile. So then let Jamie do it. I hope he gets fired for that. I love that Adam and Jack got to spend so much time together. -
He probably would since he thinks he's the best at both.

Faux Life: Things That Happen On TV But Not In Reality
andromeda331 replied to Kromm's topic in Everything Else TV
Patricia Heaton's character on the Middle was such the opposite of ELR Frankie was always in comfortable clothes when she was home. Her going out later at night usually depended on whether she wanted to put her bra back on. In one episode they have to go look for their kids and she's happy when Mike picks the car that has a bra already in it. The house is always a mess. At one point their neighbor calls the cops because she thought they had been robbed. Nope, it was the same mess it always was. Frankie's too embarassed to tell her neighbor and the cops that it was normal. She decides the family is going to clean out their house and donate a bunch of stuff. But the cops find it and assume it's the stuff that was stolen during the "robbery". Similar to Debra on ELR Frankie is a terrible cook but relies on take out food to feed her family. On the rare times she does cook her kids think their being punished. They'd rather starve. -
I really love that Raya's mom was so supportive of her. I hated that her grandpa wasn't. He was also very stupid. So he was okay with an organization that he doesn't know where it is "taking" his granddaughter off the street without telling her mother? Really dude? It was great seeing Robyn and Delilah teaming up together. I like Robyn finally realizing she has to let her daughter make her own decisons. Finally. That was driving me crazy. I agree about Dante's dad and the Captain. I just don't care about them. Same with Fisk.

I love how Dick has the same students year after year. That being one of the reasons why Tommy didn't want to go to school there. -
I think it could be fun. But I'm not sure I trust Disney to make a good Mufasa movie.

Last Week Tonight & John Oliver in the Media
andromeda331 replied to Kromm's topic in Last Week Tonight
I hope it gets to the past few seasons so I can hear the jokes in the beginning. The last time HBO was free they didn't including John Oliver episodes so I couldn't finally hear them. -
Good point. Some things actually do need to be a secret.

That's great news!

I don't think I'm ever going to tire of Boeing jokes. That one was really good. I do believe in aliens. I would love nothing more than to see UFOs turn out to be aliens. But I never really believed that. I've always assumed it was either new aircraft from the military or spy balloons/drones etc. Ours or someone else's. But like John said the answer is boring. I agree with John about the UFO McDonalds, how could it have so few stars? That sounds awesome.
