  1. Nicole looks pretty. I like that lighter shade of blonde on her.
  2. Today has a bias beyond selling shit to people who are at home between 7 and 11 am? That's news to me. And anyway, a different point of view would be nice if was coming from *any*one else. Megyn Kelly is really, really, really, really unlikable and her abysmal ratings and Q Score agree. That's all I have to say about that.
  3. TellTale tweeted that Walking Dead: TFS may be finished in some capacity. I don't get why fans are so excited, besides a couple hundred people losing their jobs, the devs involved in making the game are gone. Will these partners actually hire the talent behind the game or will they just finish what the previous devs started?
  4. Telltale Games is shutting down Most of the staff were abruptly fired and apparently all announced games, including the in progress The Walking Dead: The Final Season, have been canceled except the (IMO) shitty Minecraft: Story Mode. I get that players are super angry about the cancellations, especially those of us who shelled out $20.00 for a game that's never going to be finished, but I'm more upset for the fired devs, artists and writers. TPTB at Telltale knew the company was in trouble, rumor has it every game since first season of The Walking Dead flopped besides Minecraft, and they kept going like nothing was wrong up until a few days ago. What a mess.
  5. Did I hear Joe Biden make a Deliverance rape reference? I think the interview with gentleman who was exonerated with the help of Golf Digest would have been better if it was pretaped. His emotions are still very raw, the poor guy was nearly in tears at the end.
  6. They might be trying to generate some (fake) sexual tension between Sarah and Michael like Regis and Kathie Lee back in the day or Joe and Mika. I wonder if GMA Day would work better with maybe Lara, Ginger and Sarah and if came on directly after the first two hours of GMA. If Robin negotiated for more time off, then more power to her imo.
  7. TVLine has confirmed Julie is leaving. Figured she was done with the show, and there was no doubt after calling herself by her married name on Big Brother Thursday. Julie and Les will enjoy their piles of money and the rumored support Moonves still has in Hollywood. Goodbye.
  8. How well is the revival doing? My DVR picked up a couple of brand new episodes yesterday morning, a Saturday. Either it was a sneak peak or Discovery is burning off the episodes they have left.
  9. Maybe. But I think back to the first few seasons of Big Brother. What was so special about her to survive after the disastrous first season? She was pretty much reviled and mocked by commenters online, anyone else not allegedly having an affair with the head of the network would have been fired. Sheryl Underwood, she's a comedian.
  10. Cancelled. No where to found on the tv dial and its Wikipedia page claims it was canned back in June.
  11. It's like they're trying to get people to believe Strahan really, truly likes this blonde woman unlike that other blonde woman on that show GMA Day is trying to copy. The commercials say there will be conversation and celebrities. It's like ABC News finally woke up and realized Strahan is dreadful on the main show and is putting him back in the format he was successful at.
  12. There can't be any way Julie would stay on The Talk (or Big Brother) if her husband leaves CBS, right? She defended him so vigorously and her whole career has been tied to him since rumors of their relationship surfaced. No way she would stay. Julie and Moonves's rumored gigantic payout will walk off into the sunset I would guess.
  13. I remember he played the Charlie Brent who dated Hayley for a bit. RIP
  14. Shit, most of the show from the late 1990s to up to its cancellation was one big missed opportunity. A whole lot of bad and mediocre with a handful of bright spots.
  15. I wonder how many women left the news business because of Matt and guys like him, either due to harassment or retaliation. Do they get the same chance Lauer's getting to come back and start over? And mind many of them have been away for a lot longer than ten months.
  16. Lauer says he'll be back on tv soon It's hilarious to me that some critics of #MeToo or #TimesUp say that poor, helpless mens' careers are being ruined when they're barely facing any permanent consequences. Louis CK just came back to stand up, there have been reports that Charlie Rose is plotting a comeback and it's hardly been a year since all three of these guys were fired and/or exposed. These men are just biding their time. They know there are enough sympathetic people in both the business and the general public that will welcome them back with open arms.
  17. Damn it, I missed Craig's last day as Saturday anchor. I'll miss him on Saturdays. And I never really took a good look at his wife, she looks like Blake Lively.
  18. If Netflix kept that suicide show, they'll stick with this if the show gets enough viewers. I read somewhere Netflix goes by how many people finish the season when deciding what to renew. I liked the show overall. Some of the lines about weight and the gay jokes were cringy, but I didn't feel they were punching down like that Heathers pilot. The show was a fun mess, it reminded me of the soap Passions in places. I get the complaints, and agree with some of them, but I will watch season 2 if it comes back.
  19. I'm glad she got a new deal after her original plans for a talk show produced by the Weinstein Company fell through. Please, please let this be a sign that she's going to wind up on GMA. Strahan can focus on that Live! rip off, GMA in the afternoon or whatever.
  20. I think Hoda is doing just fine. If Michael Strahan, who has zero credibility or experience in the news biz, can read the news and do serious interviews on that other show, Hoda, a woman who actually worked her way up from local news to NBC, can do what she does on Today. At least they keep Hoda away from the harder news stuff. She knows, they know, we all know that is not her niche anymore. Today has never been a serious news show anyway. The show used to feature a chimp, it's not a show where I think "the first two hours should only be reserved for *real* journalists. Did you see her complaining about how a song like "Mack the Knife" would never be a hit now? She even acted a little perturbed that Billboard named the "Twist" their number one song. Did being married to Frank for so long cause Kathie Lee to acquire the pop culture tastes and sensibilities of a 90 year old? Mack the Knife... She was like three when that song was a hit.
  21. Today and the rest of the media know how certain voters are going to respond. The better question is why the continue to ask if they've changed their minds. Jenna and Savannah filled in for Megyn yesterday. It made me wonder if they're testing different hosts out in case Megyn, uh, leaves in the near future.
  22. The hallucination may have gone on too long, but I did like that they showed the system just doesn't take inmates with mental problems seriously. Maybe Suzanne should be in a psych ward, but in prison, they'd stick her in a segregated unit and let her rant all day until her meds kicked in. That's she was anywhere near gen pop in the first place was only for plot purposes and her parents' high priced, well connected lawyers. The guards would get away with their frame job in real life but I need them to get caught. I need a little justice on the this show after Poussey and the general injustices the inmates go through.
  23. They said Strahan was not going to host afternoon GMA, but - surprise - he is. He will have three hours of ABC airtime, his Q Score must be through the roof.
