  1. I'm enjoying that dumb Days Gone game more than I did Red Dead 2 and God of War. It's not as good as Horizon Zero Dawn or Spider-Man as far as PS4 exclusives go, but I find it pretty engaging.
  2. Honestly, I don't fault either woman for their rumored ambitions. And if everything pans out as been reported, they both won, whether it's depends on folks' personal opinions. Norah's publicist did have a good point about how none of these rumors about her would be reported if she was a man. I don't know about that, but I doubt it would be framed as CBS' two biggest news stars being in a catfight. I do agree the show lost some of it's shine after Charlie was fired. They should have auditioned people before settling on John Dickerson imo.
  3. Norah isn't exactly innocent either if it's true she was the one planting rumors about Jeff Glor getting fired in order to angle for the Evening News job. Maybe that's one of the reasons Norah and Gayle's relationship went south, they let their ambitions take over. If any of that stuff about them hating each other is true, that is. I can't see the new lineup doing any better than the current one. I guess they'll be cheaper than Norah and John Dickerson.
  4. It sounds like a done deal: It's being reported almost everywhere that Tony Dokoupil and Anthony Mason are Gayle's new co-anchors. Norah is still expected to become the new anchor of CBS Evening News. I wonder who's source for the NY Post article about Norah being a nightmare to work with. They're saying part of Gayle's new deal was getting Norah off the morning show and that Norah was the one behind the 'CBS wants to fire Jeff Glor' rumors. Norah's reps shot down the gossip about Gayle running her out, but nothing about her being behind the Jeff Glor rumors. Hmm...
  5. Here's Alex's appearance on GMA. He talked about his health and the depression that has come with cancer and a little about James:
  6. They said this morning Strahan has been sick. They mentioned it this morning on GMA. Strahan is the most popular morning show host according to a Hollywood Reporter poll. He's not going anywhere anytime soon, unfortunately.
  7. Ubisoft got two mentions in the video game category. Interesting. James continues to be amazing. I really hope he surpasses Julia's record.
  8. I would like to see more of Willie but I don't think he would ever leave Morning Joe and seems satisfied with his Sunday show.
  9. They did those Mother's Day/Father's Day get togethers when Matt was still on the show: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=83oPfiC0nWQ The hosts have been sappy and buddy-buddy for years, before creepy Matt got the boot. Remember how people used to laugh at how silly Today's Take was when it was obvious Natalie and Tamron couldn't stand each other? Talking about their lives and children has been the normal on Today for at least 6 years, maybe longer.
  10. I had no problem with the Kotaku article. IMO it was fair to report about the problems with development, the game has been in the works on and off for years and the last Dragon Age had the same problems behind the scenes as ME: A and Anthem, Inquisition was just better received.
  11. I don't think many contestants on this show have ever employed much strategy, old show or new. The show has always mainly cast emotional, spontaneous and over-the-top contestants. The contestants seem the same except the CNBC version has more shitty filler.
  12. Preschoolers? Preschoolers? Come on, TPiR. I know these kids episodes have to be popular, they've done them for years now, but I wish they would contain it to middle and high schoolers.
  13. Dylan is so brave talking about her miscarriage and fertility problems. I had never heard of secondary infertility, I hope Dylan and her husband speaking out helps people having the same difficulties.
  14. Just as I figured. J! would never change the rules or try to thwart a dominant player by making Daily Doubles "harder", buzzed about players like James draw viewers and get people talking about the show.
  15. I have no opinion whether Hoda is too old or how much help she gets with her babies, I'm still laughing at Willie's shocked face:
  16. Okay. I only watch CNN during the early afternoon. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
  17. I assume you're talking about Brianna Keilar. Wolf doesn't anchor the 1:00 pm eastern news hour anymore, Brianna took it over months ago. Wolf is on the Situation Room today. He's on as I'm typing.
  18. AT&T/Dirctv to add CNN International to their lineups in May. It's about time. I try watching CNNI via the CNN Go app on Samsung but it's so buggy.
  19. Wow, this episode was a total waste of time. Why TLC thought giving this person two hours to lie and fail to see the truth about her situation is beyond me. These people that won't participate could easily be bundled into one episode, two hours of one person being delusional is totally unnecessary.
  20. I was surprised when they said Rita Wilson has released four albums. She does have enough money to waste producing music few people listen to. Kathie Lee's farewell was very nice. I'm glad she got to leave on her own terms this time around, without the air of bitterness and being forced out like on Live. I really liked the tribute to her her kids did.
  21. She's 4'11''. I think she looked so little because she was sitting on a couch without pillows to make her look not so small. Sheinelle is that short, but you can see they have her chair adjusted to its maximum height and is sitting on extra cushions when they're all on the couch. Those Everyone Has a Story songs were so bad and corny, but I'm going to miss it.
  22. If the FBI can prove via DNA the guy who claimed he was Timmothy Pitzen wasn't him in about a day, why has it taken more than a year for the DNA results for the Baby Sabrina case to come in? It's like we heard about it on 20/20 last year, were told it would take months for the DNA results to come in and then nothing.
  23. Well, yeah. I don't think anyone is naive enough to believe that Gayle gained most of those contacts and sources on her own, she got them by being Oprah's ride or die. And, yes, they also like that Oprah gives CBS first looks at her various projects. We'll see if CBS's gamble of centering This Morning on Gayle pays off sooner or later.
