Miss Rosa, Barbara Rosenblat, was on a a local Kansas City morning show to talk about her lengthy and award winning career as an audiobook narrartor.

He rubs me the wrong way, has for years.

I want the show to hook Poussey up with a nice girl. None of the current ships, Piper/Alex/Larry or Daya/Bennett, do anything for me.

Healy is such a Nice Guy it's ridiculous. I can see why he has the job he has, he gets to exert control over women and feel like he's helping them. Despite his creepiness, I still think he has more potential to help people than stupid-ass Bennett or that rapey-ass Pornstache Mendez. Meh to Piper getting Alex back in prison. I just hope the show continues to become more of an ensamble so I don't have to endure too much of their bullshit next season. I include Larry and Piper's best friend in that, too. The less of that quadrangle, the better. I know there was some negative chatter over some of the black women being taken down a darker road, but I loved it. Taystee is a screwed up system kid, Suzanne is vulnerable due to her illnesses and the lack of care for them during her early life, Janae is being crushed by prison and Black Cindy is an opportunistic asshole, I get why they came under Vee's spell so easily. I don't mind that these characters were fleshed out, even if it was to highlight some of their less desirable traits. Even though predictible that Rosa was going to hit Vee the moment Rosa got behind the wheel of that van, I cackled in delight when it happened. Good riddence to Vee. And I'm going to assume that Rosa got to go out like Queen Latifah's character did in Set it Off.

So Boo snitched to Vee about Red's business because she felt slighted? Boo went to the dinner with a bad attitude... Why am I questioning the morality of a woman who forced a dog to go down on her? I get where Taystee is coming from with her devotion to Vee, Vee is Taystee's mother figure and abusive relationships are very complicated, but it was still disappointing seeing her give those drugs to Nicky. I hope Poussey went over there and knocked that shit out of Nicky's hand after Taystee left. Still don't give much of a crap about Piper or Larry, together or seperately, but I thought their breakup scene was nice. I'm midly curious to see how the show pulls them back together because I imagine this isn't the end of Larry on the show.

Piper only works as an annoying, super embodiment of white privliage for me. As a character, I still don't care much for her except when the other women are reacting to her shit. I liked Rosa's backstory. And her accent sounds more like Scarface's than Russian imo. They better have a good explanation for the return of Pornstache, because there's only so much belief I can suspend.

God, I'm sick of Bennett. I didn't mind him last season, but I hope he's bounced out on his ass by the end od the season.

Poor Poussey. I wonder if Taystee has really caught some feelings for her friend and it was easier for Vee to manipulate her and push her buttons. Not that it isn't that hard for Vee considering her and Taystee's long history. Morello was all the more scarier to me because she's come off as a cute, shallow, casually racist goofball so far. I can see Morello being a sent up to max for either being found out about the break-in or setting up something more sinsiter.

That's the wonderful thing about this show, there's no easy answer for why any of the women are the way they are. Suzanne's flashbacks really got to me. It makes me sad that she's susceptible to Vee's manipulations, but it seems she's been starved for maternal affection most of her life. I'm looking forward to see how it works out even though I know it's probably going to break my heart. Morelli's a bit of an ignorant asshole, but I can't totally dislike her. I think her outside world prejudices are just magnified in prison due to the "tribes."

Much better episode than the first. Despite the absence of Piper, it made me resent her for the fact the only way we got to see the more interesting characters last season was through the PoV of Waspy McBoring Face.

Oh my God, Piper is so boring.
