  1. Random comments. The situation with the kids is actor-availability driven. Graham Phillips (Zach) goes to an out-of-state school. Makenzie Vega (Grace) goes to college in New York City. Gary Cole hasn't appeared in 2016. IMDB doesn't even mention The Good Wife in his biography, doesn't seem to be very up-to-date. Not all people who drink a lot are alcoholics, and not all alcoholics drink a lot. Alicia drinks wine at home because she was a political wife for 20 years. At work, she drinks whatever the person she is drinking with has. Even the tequila was a gift from Ruth, and she is still working on that bottle. Diane does have several large feminist clients. Grace was able to recruit them when Diane took the pro-gun case. And she isn't looking for an all-woman firm, she stated it this episode. She wants women named partners. Alicia and Peter will not be getting a divorce, because Hillary and Bill have not gotten one. A longer passage doesn't need to be in quotes, it can be set off with wider margins and different spacing. And nobody said anything about whether or not Grace cited it, the program just flagged the quotation for being used. As far as the bar, it is somewhere they don't usually go. That is why Diane picked it, so they wouldn't be recognized or run into other attorneys or clients. And yes, with as crowded as it was, Lucca could be waiting in line to get the chips. Or she saw them snuggling so is taking her time.
  2. That came later. Carly went to the bar looking for Jason, found AJ instead. He was drunk and charming, they went upstairs and conceived Michael. It was only afterwards when he started remembering (when he was on the wagon) that Carly drugged him so he wouldn't remember and try to claim Michael.
  3. Has Carly ever actually walked away from Sonny, or has he always kicked her out?
  4. Wasn't the point of Sam going to the hospital to bring Danny to see his brother? So where is he?
  5. Carly used to work at GH, her mother was head nurse, her brother is currently a doctor. Her current husband donated a wing, did Jax donate one too? Have they said lately who is on the board?
  6. Maxie on GH doesn't have a scar. They finally had her mention she'd had it removed by plastic surgery.
  7. She never went by Lansing either, she's always been Davis.
  8. I thought it was a dialogue writer, looks young. Hope you're not referring to Higley who is on personal leave, shudder.
  9. She died young. Paul came on as a widower with a young child.
  10. I think Alicia is still on her journey. She's been shown getting closer to that over the past 7 years, that's why so many are finding her more unlikeable.
  11. Alicia IS Hillary. Bill didn't go to jail, but during the first campaign they were constantly watching for "bimbo eruptions." After the Monica scandal broke, Hillary got on the morning news shows and said it was all a "vast right-wing conspiracy." She was the ultimate "stand by your man" Good Wife. Alicia wasn't sorting which plates to throw, she was getting ready to set the table. If you always use the same plates, they will show uneven wear. She pulled out three plates, picked up the others to put them away, and then realized Eli wasn't leaving. Beyond the "chance with Will" issue, Eli betrayed Alicia by listening to what he knew was an important message, and then deleting it without ever telling her. He took what he knew was a major decision away from her. Eli does think Alicia is the better candidate. Not necessarily right now, but at some point. That's at least part of why he came clean. When he deleted that message he was thinking of her as the candidate's wife. Now he needs to have her trust as the candidate. Alicia will not divorce Peter because Hillary has not divorced Bill. Watch the show as though it were happening 20-odd years ago, and you'll see the parallels.

  14. I remember a show from a few years ago, might have been something like "Get it Sold." They found properties that had been listed for a long time, and tried to figure out why it hadn't sold and what they could do to move it. There was a RE agent who checked the price, and there was some small amount ($1,500?) for minor repairs/coverup. Then they brought in a stager. I think there were different teams based on location, but I remember Joanna being one of the stagers. I don't see anything on Joanna's IMDB page about earlier shows. Does anyone else remember this?
  15. Nickname for a character on Sleepy Hollow who was written out last season.
