Mon, July 12 Episode 1: The Wire Episode 2: The Reporters This is certainly a bit of a weird format, since it’s audio and some video of the podcast (which I haven’t listened to), which itself is based on Ronan’s Catch and Kill book (which I haven’t read yet). It’s a fascinating subject. I liked the second episode more than the first since it talked to the various reporters who tried for years to nail down the story about Weinstein I’m not clear whether the whole series is about exposing Weinstein

I'm a little confused about Behrad and the show he loves. Doesn't Behrad come from 2045 or something, which is long after this show was on apparently. Did he just watch old syndicated reruns or something?

Horrible story and Lori and Chad and anyone else with their beliefs are all nutcases. I do wonder though if Chad really believed all that stuff or if he was just using those beliefs to con people It does seem much too soon for a movie given the case is still ongoing

It’s an 8 episode documentary series

Some of these contestants either know way less than they should or are too cocky and think they know more than they do

Something I’m wondering that could be stupid and possibly controversial: should we be automatically believing everything Allison says about Kevin? This show is making us look beneath the surface of sitcom Kevin to see him as a not so great guy, plus skewer male-dominated sitcoms, but what if they are doing the same with Allison? What if she’s shading the truth and Kevin isn’t quite the monster she makes him out to be? I could be overthinking it and maybe the show is completely on Allison’s side, but with how strange this show is, it does make me wonder

S01.E01: Living The Dream / S01.E02: New Tricks
DanaK replied to helenamonster's topic in Kevin Can F**k Himself
Like others, I find it really interesting that Kevin is only seen in the sitcom part of the show and never in the drama part, as is Neil and Kevin's dad(?), but Patty is seen in both. -
Just to follow up, I went through my deleted episodes on my DVR and there were definitely 2 different teams alternating. It was obvious once I went back through the episodes. Joel even said in the early episodes there were two teams and said at the end of episode 2 that the other team would be back the next week, all of which I apparently missed

S01.E03: We're Selling Washing Machines
DanaK replied to helenamonster's topic in Kevin Can F**k Himself
I unfortunately missed this episode because my DVR didn’t record it, probably because it thought it was a repeat because it already showed on AMC+. I’ll have to keep a closer eye on recording the rest of the season -
They were alternating weeks? I totally didn't notice that. Now I feel dumb

Remind me, was there another group before this one? They keep talking about the semifinals and merging with another group, but I can't remember if and how long the other group was around

I feel like Dante and Cory should have gone home over Hope and Shania. The ladies seemed to have better tasting desserts and the guys seemed to screw up more Joel is clearly there because he’s good at making jokes and snarking. I don’t think he has a clue about baking

Man, I clearly forgot about that, but I'm starting to vaguely remember it. Were they the same people who fired Stuart?
-
I’m surprised to learn Stuart was fired for health reasons, I either didn’t know or had forgotten; I think I thought at the time they killed off Alan just because and they were killing off Q’s. Given the accommodations they made over the years for Anna Lee as Lila as she clearly declined, that sucks
