  1. I watched this in 2 stages and finished it last night. It was alright for a monster movie. I haven't seen the previous films in the same universe so I was a little lost about Titans and such, but I guess it didn't matter. It wasn't quite mindless, but it's clear the humans and their motivations didn't really matter because the monsters were the stars. I guess I was entertained enough. I did think Kong's size perspective wasn't consistent throughout; at times, he didn't look as big as he was supposed to
  2. It doesn’t look like it, but you can talk about it here or create a topic in the Other Non-Fiction section. I recorded it but haven’t had the chance to watch it yet
  3. Premieres May 10 at 9-11pm ET and Part 2 will be broadcast on May 11 at 9-11pm ET
  4. I don't know if this is completely accurate, but both Futon Critic and SpoilerTV are saying the finale is on May 26, a week later than originally announced
  5. I don't know if this is completely accurate, but both Futon Critic and SpoilerTV are saying the finale is on May 26, a week later than originally announced
  6. As noted in the 10th episode topic and by SpoilerTV, the 10th episode will be the season finale and will be broadcast on April 27 https://www.spoilertv.com/2020/03/upcoming-finale-dates-2020-updated-26th.html
  7. I didn’t particularly like the beginning of the premiere with the resetting of the ongoing The Event sketch or the nonsense-spouting pre-PHD woman, but I enjoyed the stuff after that
  8. I’m pretty sure they are but Urgent Care is pretty similarly used like the ER; there are many Urgent Care places with actual names
  9. The Futon Critic is saying the season finale is May 19
  10. According to the Futon Critic, the finale (the 11th episode) is on May 4
  11. Yes, thanks for the correction. I goofed and used the wrong name. A fall off a roof and a likely broken leg should mean straight to the ER not Urgent Care
  12. Good episode, though Georgie and Missy were the only ones who had good outcomes
  13. I think Al was wrong to keep pushing his views of respect on the family when he’s a guest in their home. He should have talked to them before pushing his views and they should have told him to shut up. But the standoff between him and the daughter with the food was funny and the talk about missing her dad when he was at war was moving Also, given Al just fell off the roof and broke his leg, it seems to me Riley should have called an ambulance instead of moving him using their car and going to Urgent Care
  14. According to promo at the end of last night’s episode, there are 2 episodes left and the show returns May 12, with presumably the finale on May 19 (The Futon Critic says the same)
  15. The series will premiere with the first 2 episodes on Sunday, June 20 at 9pm on AMC. The episodes will debut on AMC+ a week earlier on June 13 and each subsequent episode will debut on AMC+ a week ahead of the linear debut on AMC on Sundays at 9pm http://thefutoncritic.com/news/2021/04/22/annie-murphy-returns-to-television-in-the-groundbreaking-new-series-kevin-can-fk-himself-sunday-june-13-on-amcplus-and-sunday-june-20-on-amc-29010/20210422amc01/
  16. There's going to be a Doctor Who graphic novel from Penguin Books that will be released on November 16 and the synopsis says (or said) it ties in with Episode 2 of Series 13 and involves Captain Jack Harkness and the Torchwood Institute. It's written by Jody Houser who writes the Doctor Who Titan Comics. Cultbox has a writeup about it https://cultbox.co.uk/news/headlines/doctor-who-series-13-captain-jack-novel-ties-in-with-episode-2 You can see the page for the novel and the synopsis on Amazon (US) (unless it gets altered, like it has at the Penguin website and Amazon UK) https://www.amazon.com/Doctor-2021-Event-Jody-Houser/dp/1787737527/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=doctor+who+2021&qid=1619108477&s=books&sr=1-2 There's no information at this point on whether John Barrowman makes any kind of appearance in Series 13. It's all pretty intriguing
  17. I will absolutely not be surprised if it turned out he abused her. Or she killed him
  18. Between Natalie, Will, and possibly April previously, they’ve gotten the ethical violations all sewn up. Sheesh I wonderful if Charles’ daughter is acting out as fallout from the pregnancy and its failure? The post Covid patient apparently has endometriosis in her lung (which I’ve never heard of, so fascinating), but nothing was said that it was affecting her uterus and it would likely affect her getting pregnant
  19. An update! Netflix will be streaming Season 2 starting May 31 https://www.usatoday.com/story/entertainment/tv/2021/04/21/new-netflix-may-2021-amy-adams-woman-window-selena/7299739002/
  20. Last episode I wondered if Nxly was faking her niceness, and boy was she. Either that, or the Zone was affecting her mind Pretty fun episode, especially with Brainy’s zany eating and quips. I fully expected he wouldn't know how to use the Ghostbusters gun but I guess he’s smart enough
  21. They were apparently filming at what was apparently Neath Abbey yesterday. Instagram post with pictures and information that's probably just speculation based on crew comments https://www.instagram.com/p/CN3ExFxspqJ/ A Facebook post saying they were filming at Neath Abbey https://www.facebook.com/paul.davies.5832/posts/10158142202184646
  22. This was a good and entertaining episode I actually thought Kemi might offer her grandkids to Cheuy's mom as stand-ins for blood-related grandkids, but maybe the culture doesn't think like that, otherwise that would have been brought up. I felt bad for Kemi when she called one of her sons and he didn't have time for her. Poor Cheuy is going to be so hen-pecked by his mom and Kemi, but at least Kemi can go toe-to-toe with the mom
  23. For all we know, Q could have been (or started as) Russian disinformation
  24. Good episode overall I could swear Nolan’s professor had a British accent before, but maybe I’m just remembering the actress using a British accent in a previous role. Does the actress normally have a British accent?
