I always find the girl gang sketches a laugh riot. Pretty good show overall. I think the intro with the cast credits is too long though. I find I really enjoy the bloopers at the end

I have only bought new cars, gone into the dealer knowing what I wanted (my parents helped me through it for my first car) and had my own financing set beforehand (the dealer really pushes hard for you to take their financing). People really have to watch out for themselves when buying cars, used or new, and using financing, and the episode was a really good illustration of all that. Riley and Al didn’t help themselves though with their inflated I-know-better attitude

Fantastic 2 hour finale. Very, very different from the usual episode. Given it was one story, I can see why they played the 2 episodes together. A TV critic called it a tense finale, playing like a 2 hour movie, and he was right I'm a little confused who the guy was who attacked Joe and the other guy at the motel and Joe shot him in the knees. Wasn’t he a Georgia cop or ATF guy that Erin interacted with a couple of times earlier?

Sad at it being the end, but yeah, it was starting to run out of runway and it was time. I can’t help but feel the writers sensed it with that finale that had so many things happen at the end

Sad to hear. The ratings weren’t solid but like others said, it was a sweet show. Gary Cole made for a great grandpa in spite of his character’s flaws

I think it's for the best. I kind of liked it but it just didn't fully gel for me. I never understood why both kids ended up in the same place far from home

That there shows how much this show has evolved from focusing on Anna Faris and her mom and kids to focusing on the women in the support group

Did it seem like they forgot Dre was leaving or thinking of leaving his firm? I thought he had actually made a deal with a new employer, but he was right back at the same firm like nothing happened

Yeah, it's time. 8 seasons is a very good run for most shows (I think most scripted shows shouldn't last more than 7 seasons) and it feels like a good time to end

What a good story about buying cars and getting taken. Don't take the dealer's financing if possible! Fortunately I have a credit union and that works out well for me. I'm not sure Al's nice car is going to hold up so nicely for long if he's using it for food deliveries I didn't realize the sister was so financially knowledgeable. Good thing she's the solid one in the family business given her dad and brother's financial illiteracy

Pretty good finale yet so awkward with Mary and George arguing. So many of my shows lately have some majorly awkward moments it seems George clearly has issues he's tamping down and his and Mary's history, both past and future, kind of makes for dark undercurrents in this supposedly comedic show. Though I shouldn't really complain as I enjoyed the now-completed Mom with its very dark moments. I think the show just resonates worse with its dark moments because there are children involved I don't fully recall the backstory, but wasn't George teaching college football and a scandal forced him out?

I can't tell if this is sarcasm or not lol It's too bad that some of the Doctors will be voiced by voice actors and not the original actors (like Chris E, Peter C, and Matt S) but at least they are including Jo Martin as the Fugitive Doctor and Jodie as the current Doctor

Sitcoms are generally episodic and not a mystery to be solved so they don’t usually need some big tie up when they end. So I think it would have been overkill with an hour episode and a big to-do. This show was about life happening as you figure your stuff out with the support of others. I do think any lack of Anna Faris left a bit of a sour feeling, but she did leave a season ago and the show moved on. I feel pretty sure in believing the CBS ended it due to money concerns, because of contracts ending and not wanting to pay a lot more to renew This show has never been just a comedy

I actually thought Ben's mom Barb was going to tell on Darlene about the Hawaii tickets. Even though Darlene sold the tickets in the end and came clean to Ben, their problems aren't over and I agree they need to break up. Ben isn't wrong about putting away money for savings, but there could have been a compromise where Darlene sold the tickets and used part of the money for a little getaway just for her (or with a +1 of her choosing who was not Ben) That back and forth between Louise and Barb was hilarious

What a whole lot of awkwardness. Poor Jean definitely needs other people in her life besides her kids

How Sarah and her wife got together and stay together is beyond me
