    Bros (2022)

Yeah, but they were straight penises, so not a hazard to the public.
  2. If the "single keto gummy" is in fact a haribo sugar-free gummy bear, and the person's plumbing and digestive tract are sturdy enough to withstand taking them every day for weeks, I can see that kind of weight loss resulting.
  3. I can't see that version of the costume without recalling a comedy comic where Daredevil reacted to a flashback with his original suit, another character remarked about him supposedly being blind, and he replied that the suit was so loud he could hear it. I think Jen's super-hero suit may be based on the one she was wearing back in the Mighty Avengers days. It looks like a crossfit outfit to me.
  4. I had heard that Leonardo wasn't as straightwashed in this as he was in Da Vinci's Demons. Well, I suppose "more than" is different from "as much as."
  5. Maybe they should get their own wash cycle. With extra bleach.

    Bros (2022)

Homophobia probably kept some people away, but it was always going to. I think the bigger problem was the trailers and Billy's many talk show appearances hammering home that this was a movie by LGBTQIA+ people for LGBTQIA+ people making it seem like it wasn't meant for straight audiences to enjoy as well (and that they might as well stay home). When you're trying to drum up enthusiasm for a comedy you want to show and tell people how funny it is, not what a momentous benchmark for inclusion and minority culture it is.

    Bros (2022)

I'm pretty sure that was a character choice; I don't recall Luke's voice being that deep on Killjoys, which aired after he buffed up. I enjoyed it overall. As you said, the leads had pretty good chemistry and it was an interesting twist on the genre. It did seem to forget it was a rom-com for much of the second half though, a problem that its closest indie predecessor All Over the Guy also suffered from. It may be endemic to scripts by a writer/lead actor—the writer's character always seems to be in the right about the requisite falling out, and it's on the other lead character to realize the error of his ways and apologize. The final bit with Debra Messing, and then Monica Raymond's character (did we ever learn her name?) telling her kid they were witnessing a miracle were much-needed jokes to inject some more humor into the ending.
  8. I'm gonna go with delusional since he was walking around in daylight during the episode.
  9. I think Ben Grimm from the Fantastic Four is the most prominent Jewish character at Marvel, though it doesn't play a defining role in his backstory like it does in Magneto's.
  10. We haven't seen any elves using any magic, have we? Except in the flashback to this unnamed elf hero who got in a magic tug-of-war with a balrog over a tree in the middle of nowhere that someone allegedly bedazzled a silmaril into. Even before the rings of power were crafted, weren't Galadriel and Celebrimbor supposed to have been among the mightiest and most supernaturally adept beings who weren't actual maiar/gods?
  11. Refresh my memory, have many people raised objections to Yelena Belova and Red Guardian being featured in the MCU, despite What Russia has done in Ukraine, Georgia, and Chechnya in recent years?
  12. Maybe it "saved her skin" in that Harvey Weinstein is allergic to one of the ingredients?

  14. I think there's a whole generation of men brought up on Star Trek and its green Orion slave girls for whom Jen in She-Hulk form would be the realization of a lifelong fantasy.
  15. I wonder if Hallmark will switch Luke Macfalane to starring in same-sex couple romance movies like they seem to have with Jonathan Bennett now that the marketing for Bros will be reminding viewers that he's gay?
  16. How will we even know she's really Ace if she doesn't?
  17. The writers of the time did great by Ian McKellen before he'd done much high-profile comedy that I'm aware of, so there's at least potential for the Brendan Gleeson show to have some great bits too.
  18. I'm beginning to see a resemblance to a young Timothy Dalton. Maybe if he aims future changes in that direction all will work out well? Dalton aged really well, and is still dashing at 76.
  19. You are not. I roll my eyes whenever any of them are on TV. Which I can still do, because I've never had my eyelids surgically pulled back to make myself look younger!
  20. I'm wondering if Bruce Timm and Paul Dini have been dismissed from consideration because they oversaw "kid's stuff" back in the day, or if they were asked about the position(s) and replied "OH HELL NO!" before running out through the nearest wall...
  21. For me that's a wash, but I'd prefer Lady Sif or the Warriors Three to either of them. But really Rocket is my favorite character to have Thor interact with.
  22. I can see him being treated as different, but you'd think they'd cut him some slack what with his human heritage being from the most heroic mortals ever (both with personal favor from the Valar), and one of the actual Maiar as his great-great-granny.
  23. Jackson gets that from everyone who sees him, Haleth. I actually named him for a stunning blue-eyed Teen Wolf character who was constantly afraid.
  24. If you have maggots AND spiders in your trash cans, the latter should take care of the former for you.
