I must have a heart of stone because I felt nothing for Brooke Lynn, crying that she can't carry Chase's baby and phoning her mother to come home and make her feel better. There are people in worse situations, much worse. Portia, it took you this long to tell PCPD that you suspect foul play in the deaths? And Dante still didn't know. Am I supposed to see Martin and Tracy squabbling as sexy and flirtatious? Because all I think is how painful it is and why doesn't Martin leave the salon? Emma's animal cruelty storyline is a step up from her previous ones. But that sweater -- long sleeves and turtleneck is right for New York weather in winter. The half missing back, not so much. Brennan and Carly ... blech 🤢

1909, if I recall correctly. Yes, Oskar and his wife lost a daughter before the series opened. I think that led her his wife leaving him,

JPS is in the credits so I figured that Valentin is headed back. They really need to give Brennan something else to do because I had to fast forward his scenes today, he's so hungry for Carly. As @CeChase said, it's pure fantasy for Carly fans. I think I'm rooting for Valentin now although I'm sure this attempt will fail. According to my research, bourbon is served with either lemon or orange so cool your jets, Tracy. Sasha is what, one month pregnant? You can still climb on a ladder with no problem, girl. I wonder if Chase had measles as a child and that's why he's infertile. An ordinary storyline in 2015 but a risky one in 2025. I use MyChart too. The difference between the US and Canada seems to be the amount of information a patient can access on their own without a professional there. An ethical discussion.

A quick rebuttal: I have access to my test results but I have to go to the hospital website to read them, they are not texted to me without an explanation of the numbers. In my case, what I have access to is limited though and doesn't include consultant reports. For those, the medical association requires that a doctor go through them with me. Giving bad news requires skill and empathy (Dr Rob Buckman developed a course for medical students). I remember how I felt when my oncologist told me that the biopsy came back positive for cancer and how important it was that he was empathic and caring. This has been another fail on the part of Portia's and Terry's hospital.

That's exactly what I was wondering. They could have shot all of Lieberman's scenes in this episode in a few days. Overall a disappointing episode redeemed somewhat at the end by the twist that Reiger was Mephisto. What would we do without supervillains unable to resist explaining all their brilliance to Our Hero? How could Rieger know that Oskar would kill Kiss rather than Kiss killing Oskar and then disappearing? I disagree that what those jaded people want is information; what they want is thrills. Oskar deserves better than Therese. I like the show and especially the time and setting but I'm disappointed enough in this ending that I'm okay if there is no season 5.

Doesn`t Drew have to put his holdings into a blind trust? He should know nothing of what's going on with Aurora and recuse himself if Curtis comes before his committee. We're barely out of an {endless and painful} infertility story with Molly and TJ. Do we have to start another now with Brooke Lynn and TJ? Doctors don't usually deliver bad news over a phone call much less over a text. It takes empathy and care. (In Ontario, the College of Psychologists authorizes an MA to make the diagnosis but it requires a registered PhD to tell the client what it is.) Someone has to be. Carly's run through all the men on the show, some several times, and heaven forfend that Carly, brave&strong, be without a man. That was the strangest conversation. Parts of it were like Lulu was a stranger and Laura needed to give the "previously on GH" playback.

That makes the waste worse, that he would be able to carry the story but the writers aren't good enough to recognize what they have either in actor or storyline. I know that no one other than Michael and Sasha know about their ONS and the fetus. I blame the cheap writing for protecting Michael and the latest Carly clone from the kind of repercussions that Willow is facing for her infidelity. (Drew, on the other hand, deserves everything he's getting.) Do we really need yet another justification for the gummy bear mobster, yet another story where people formerly with brains now worship at the Corinthos alter and praise Carly?

I missed this episode when it aired. I'm watching it now on CBC and I'm shocked and saddened at how much the racism and anger, the blaming ills on immigrants, on the show echoes today 57 years later.

I wish I were as certain of anything else as I was that it would be Brennan at Carly's door. For the "heroine" of the show, she really is helpless without a man to support her. Also, of course Carly gets a suite all for herself in Germany. Because she deserves it. <eyeroll> And Brennan has a car that he drive around a strange city where he probably doesn't know the language, instead of taking taxis, so that he can be Carly's chauffeur. Drew, you didn't build up Aurora from the ground up, you bought it from Julian and renamed it. "This Drew that's standing in front of me in my office, I don't recognize you. What the hell happened to you?" Curtis, it's called a recast. I really hate that everyone is attacking Willow for Drew while Saint Michael, who impregnated Sasha, gets a free ride. Along with Sasha herself who at least could stop castigating Willow for her infidelity. Why is Kai still in the hospital? Oh, shocker, he can't play football ever again, he injured his shoulder! I guess he'll just have to keep hanging around Trina. Does Lulu even remember that she has another child? Accepting Tracy's offer of double pay when Maxie and Brooke Lynne has just explained to her why she shouldn't work at Deception won no points with me. I remember that Molly had a scene with a man at the Brown Dog telling her woes as she was breaking up with TJ. I thought that was Cody. On this show, when someone is working professionally, it's always formal job titles as if they've never met the other person before.

Joss: "I don't think anything, I know." Could anything describe Joss' arrogance more perfectly? I'm very disappointed in Laura. Way to cop out on what's best for Avery. So what if you're both Rocco's grandparents, as someone who just got her daughter back, she should be helping Ava to do the same. Isn't it convenient that both Isaiah and Lucky left Charlie's before Sidwell came in? (not) And why does Charlie's stock expensive champagne? Ava: "Why did you bring me to the place claustrophobia was born?" LOL Now that's how they should remind us of Ava's money problems. Why is Mac calling Molly ADA Lansing-Davis? I cannot with this show having people who have known each other forever using formal titles. I wouldn't mind a Molly/Cody story. It might get her to loosen up and give him a storyline other than drinking and screwing up. The mystery is why the show is trying to sell him as a George Clooney type attractive. Unfortunately with Carly off the canvas and Girl Detective hotfoot after Dex's killer, Sasha needs to be the Saint Michael propper now.

I thought that this one was fun with all the strange clues. and fake outs I was surprised (albeit delighted) at the "underrated" Star Trek: Deep Space Nine mentions until I saw that credits with Shawn Piller's name and remembered that his father, Michael Piller, was producer and showrunner of DS9.

Sasha should not be far enough along to have baby brain yet. "Willow is such a different person, we need to keep her children from her." So ridiculous. It's not like either Willow or Drew are going to abuse the kids. Anyone surprised that Natalia is going to spend the night looking over on Sonny? Even less surprising than Gio's paternity. Does Port Charles really need another upscale drinking establishment? Between The Metro Court, The Savoy and whatever the place is where Cyrus works, expensive places are pretty much covered. The only affordable ones seem to be Bobbie's, the coffee shop with the plants growing out of the walls, and the restaurant Stella knows. And the Brown Dog which writers can't seem to decide is a biker bar or undergrad hangout. Personally I would be dropping the new Charlie's off my list. So Martin's theory is that Cyrus regrets not euthanizing his mother sooner? Okaaay. They really, really don't know what to do with Cody. That was not fun.
-
They clarified it today: diltiazem Natalia put a pill under his tongue and he recovered so nitro then.

How is it that Sidwell is swanning around town, buying islands and art, and Jason/Felicia/Anna/Lucky/Sasha never runs into him? Not to mention that Super Spy Brennan with the satellite surveliance has no idea that he is there? As much as I hate Carly yelling at Willow when Michael has a relapse, it is in character. Remember Carly, who wanted to wake Michael up? Sonny telling Carly that Willow and Michael still love each other -- Drew, that is the death knell for you. Are they the new Sonny-and-Carly? Alexis asking Ava hows she would feel if someone treated Avery the way she was treating Kristina was a nice move. Also good acting by both NLG and MW. I thought that was the most chemistry on today's show. Certainly it beat Tracy/Martin and Carly/Brennan who we are supposed to be excited about. And Willow/Drew who I don't see anyone excited about Again, typical of Carly and Sonny. I bet they'll ask Jason to move in and he will. Or if not, Joss. They will probably use Donna and Avery as the reason Carly returns to Port Charles sooner than I want her to.
-
Maybe they wanted to give CD a few Emmy reel scenes before he leaves. I think that it would have been better drama with a discussion among the four about how they wish they could wake up Michael to ask him but that would be irresponsible so here is what they have to consider. But it's TFGH. That's interesting about how many people in the US use cheques. And I guess Cody giving a cheque to Brad in front of Lukas wouldn't have been so obvious without it.

You know, if they were counsellors at the camp I could buy it more easily (because that happened to someone when I was a counsellor). Campers, not so much. But it sounds like they were campers (under 16? which is the age for counsellors-in-training) and I have a hard time seeing young Brook Lynn as a counsellor. I have the feeling that the ball dropped for Willow when she was talking to Chase and she's going to be angry now that Drew stepped in. Which i think is unfortunate because I could take some more story of Willow under Drew's spell. It's better than NuLu's endless "my daughter, my daughter" and and the boring Brook Lynn/pregnancy/Gio and Trina/Kai stories. CD leaving seems to kill the only storyline that has any pep.

The point of a Power of Attorney is for someone to make the decisions when the person can't. Michael is in pain and has no knowledge of the medical procedures or the Facility That Brennan Found. How can he make an informed decision? Portia, if you don't know of the burn technique, head to your computer and look it up. Sidwell hands Ava a cheque for the painting. Who uses cheques these days, much less carries a cheque book around? This show plays fast and loose with the law. How does Drew get a court order on behalf of Willow to take her children when she knows nothing about it? Also fast and loose is Sonny demanding that Willow can have Wylie and Amanda while keeping Ava from Avery. That makes sense. Alexis has never been a fashionista, she's been more dedicated to being a lawyer than fashion. Comfort over style. I still have a real problem of Lois, with her emphasis on family, being wiling to give away her grandchild. DZ was born in 1979. But even if Dante is 40, he would have been 19 or 20 when Gio was conceived. Old enough to be told about a pregnancy.
-
Uh... isn't that technically rape if Brooke Lynn is under 18 (Which most camp kids are)? That would be awesome. Cody, who has the emotional maturity of a 15 year old, tries to parent a college student. Also #SaveDante It might work since Drew is now a public figure and will be looking for reeclection. Granted it hasn't worked on some real life Congressmen but I live in hope.

Love child in the sense that it's a colloquial expression for illegitimate. But I cannot believe that Dante was ever really in love with Brooke Lynn. Total retcon.

Carly: "We finally have the chance to give Michael the care he needs." Carly seems to have forgotten that Brennan said that he couldn't get Michael into the facility. But Tracy telling Carly off was a thing of beauty. JE was having sooo much fun. As much as I dislike Carly and Sonny, I do think that Michael would be better off having them by his bedside and talking to him. There a body of research on the effects of having people talk to you even when unconscious. My guess is that Willow called Carly to tell her that she can see Michael. It won't mean a thing in the long run because Carly holds grudges like she hoards children, but it would be the right thing to do. Irony: Chase being the cop who took Willow's kids, and then telling Tracy that she needs to give them back. Someone, just get a court order FFS. Stella: "That's boy's got a good head on his shoulders." Me: And will have as long as he can avoid chronic traumatic encephalopathy playing football. If he's benched, it may be the best thing that happens to him. I'd say that nurses are the receivers rather than the quarter backs. Could they telegraphy any more clearly that Gio is the spawn of Brook Lynn and Dante. I agree. Joss is a Carly so the show will anoint her as the very special WSB recruit but temperamentally Emma is much more suited to a grey organization like the WSB. That's Carly, who then had the kids taken to the gatehouse where they live. Tracy is the one not letting them back. Why is everyone begging Tracy to let the kid back? She has no legal standing at all in this.

That's impressive of Steve Guttenberg for helpinng. But how about moving those dogs and cats instead of just feeding them? Morgan is so ADHD. My family loves it, to see themselves on screen in an accurate and not judgemental way. Morgan has "high potential' (on every ADHDers' report card) but has trouble meeting it because she doesn't know how to tone it down or how to talk to people so she's a cleaning lady instead of a university researcher. it's also interesting to see Ava having trouble fitting in between her bright and different mother and brothers. (Between Morgan and Will Trent and a local station playing Doc Martin, Tuesday is neurodiversity day at my house.)

Girl-child. Oh Drew is totally using Scout to hold on to Willow. It was fun watching him try to snow Nina about his and Willow's twue luv and how they shouldn't be kept apart. Drew is such a sleaze -- well done, writers. But what bugs me is that the situation with Wylie&Amelia and with Scout is essentially the same -- they are Quartermaine children and both with a parent who are persona non grata in the Quartermaine house. But while Wylie and Amelia are essentially kidnapped and being held, no one cares about Scout, the girl whose mother just died and who was ripped from her brothers. It's not like Monica to care more about AJ's prodigy than Alan's other sons'.
-
Because everyone there hates her and would be berating her about Drew all the time? Tracy won't let Wylie and Amelia go with their mother because she wants the Quartmaine children with Monica but no one cares about Scout living alone with her father in a hotel room? And Tracy is also okay with Michael not having his family around him? I thought that she liked Michael. The stupid burns. Willow needs to charge Tracy for kidnapping.

I like the show but this season has been very weird. It feels more like I'm watching an art film than Vienna Blood. i did love all the pretty clothes at Rieger's. I appreciate how well the show shows the class differences in early 1900s Vienna. Fraulein Reiger calls out that Maxi's demeanor is not that of an English lord; also while Oskar and Max are near equals while working on a case, at Reiger's the class difference shows. Oskar's story with Theresa seems shady. Poor Oskar. I wonder if Clara's new editor is a shady character and involved with Mephisto.

I'd love AJ back to lead the Quartermaines, especially with Monica gone and Ned barely on. Carly telling Jason that he should have been Michael's father set the stage for it. So Tracy and Jason are willing to hurt Michael for Monica's sake? Tracy refusing to let go of the kids is ridiculous. Monica would never want the kids to be kept from their mother, she's not the vindictive kind that Carly, Joss and Diane are. If the clinic is Russia has closed, did they not publish their research? Because that's what doctors do. Soap opera rule: when a bet is a sure thing, you're going to lose. Emma and Gio have no chemistry. Please don't force that on us. They're doing a nice job with Lucky and Liz. I loved Anna telling Girl Detective she's warned Cyrus which tracks to cover. And Cyrus' Pax vobiscum.
