  1. So is Sonny now Michael's "So Called Father'? On Lulu, just get Cody to steal Gio's toothbrush and compare it to Rocco's. Don't forget that after her mother died, Drew too Scout away from her brothers and installed her in a hotel room never to be seen again. Isaiah being so sympathetic to Willow makes me think that he's not a smart as I though he was.
  2. Tracy to Drew: "Get back on your damn barge." Have the writers been reading this board? Drew is obsessed with Sony. That's not a smart person. Carly is convinced that she will get complete custody of Wylie and Amelia. That's not smart either. I don't understand why Michael is so feeble that he can't be told about the court case. He can ask for it to be delayed because of his treatment. Lulu still thinks that Brook Lynn knows that Gio is her son because they got coffee together. Is today the day of "not smart" people? And I'm not even getting into Portia.
  3. We know that Willow held Michael`s medical Power of Attorney at the time of injury. Who holds his legal PoA? Because it's usually the same person, and in order for the divorce court case to go ahead, it would need Michael's permission. Did Diane just fake Carly having it? She's more self-protective than that. Well she hasn't actually made any money from her journalism yet and houses cost moey.
  4. Willow is such a dolt that she would probably insist on Drew being there for "my family".
  5. Willow "I stand by Drew because I'm just trying to protect my family" is so annoying. You're still married to Michael, nitwit. It hasn't even been that long since he left. Speaking of nitwits -- Alexis. Just talk to Kristina and tell her that you know about the brakes. If she's too fragile to hear that, she shouldn't be allowed out without a minder. Nitwit Kai -- you can get a day pass to see Trina's performance. You don't need to be discharged from the hospital. Also Trina, Kai is not dying. You're allowed a night off. Nitwit #4 Carly. But that goes without saying. Laura, the older boys carry some of the blame for Rocco's drinking too much. But most of it is on him, and on the adults who didn't give him 'the talk'. Why doesn't anyone in his family point that out? Or she was 'artist in residence' for a year somewhere and met the man there. IMO, it's the easier part of this story to fanwank. I am as tired of the adoption story as I am of Kristina's brake-cutting.
  6. To torture Will who felt all alone and left of sit by Amanda's bedside with Betty. Poor Will.
  7. My only excuse is that I had dental surgery today and was under the influence of strong painkillers.
  8. If Lulu is so convinced that Gio is Brook Lynn and Dante's daughter, son,why doesn't she just steal his toothbrush and compare it to the DNA on Dante's glass or fork? Or Rocco's at a pinch. Felicia could teach her how and where to send it. No need to do all the digging around to where Brook Lynn was when the baby was born. It's a sad day when Carly is the Voice of Reason. Her dress, however, could fit into a bondage club. Also the voice of reason -- Jordan for telling Curtis not to talk to her about his wife. Joss needs to tone down the sexy tops if she's going to be an RA. Is Tracy actually going to be in the Nurse's Ball? I can't remember JE being in it before.
  9. Would Spinelli be any use in this case? Were Gio's records digitized or does his data exist only microfiche? As Joss handed in a data plan, I figure that the WSB must have written that one too. Even if she could have written the program, there was no time between the party and the hiring next day. Because Brennan wants it for the WSB himself. Still doesn't explain why Dalton would tel it on higher order animals as Emma complained; testing it on the ubitiquous white mouse would be enough.
  10. What is Joss going to do when Dalton asks her to write a data program and she can't? I want a front seat to that. Carly looking to Brennan for reassurance is disingenuous considering that the rest of the time she expects everyone to do her bidding. Maybe Tracy just wants to know that the kid is okay and doesn't want for something that she could provide. If she tries to get the child back, I'll admit that I'm wrong.
  11. Go Tracy. I thought that she handled that conversation with Lulu very well. Joss seems to have no qualms about stealing the job from Emma nor about lying on the NDA. Her mother's daughter. ¨L´amour est un oiseau rebelle¨therwise known as Carmen's Habanera, was a folk song. it seems strange to see it as a tango. Most of the episode felt like filler.
  12. Simone and Lucas are one of those relationships where you like the person without knowing much about who they really are. Better they break up now than later when they have changed their lives for each other. I understand Simone's point, she's a person who wants things stated clearly (although I still don't like her arrogance in going against Amelia during the surgery). But I understand Lucas better; he's someone who needs to to keep moving forward, to see things in their potential of being better because otherwise it's too bleak. Maybe it's something about being ADHD (fanwanking here), something that we have in common, there are so many failures that you have to concentrate on success if you're going to survive. Between calling out Lucas and supporting Owen, Amelia is appearing as one of the more mature characters on the show. I feel very sorry for Nora, dying while her children are little and need her. Jo's dress was lovely. I could have done without the veil conflict though -- just take off the flowers on top and it would be fine. Something borrowed and a welcome to the family.
  13. The episode could have done with one or two fewer stories (drug couple, Mae, Joyce, mother/son). But this was addressed with Phyllis talking to her about being afraid to life without her son. She had devoted her life to taking care of him and as her world grew smaller, she hung on to him more and more and became more and more unable to move from her bed. It's similar to when people retire and no longer have a reason for how they live their lives. Some people adapt easily and more on to other interests but for others, it becomes hard to find another reason for getting out of bed in the morning. I liked that at the end they had her walking with canes because she couldn't regain muscle strength that quickly. Yes. Ordinarily that's a story that I would be rooting for but it feels forced.
  14. Why would Drew show Willow the vial of ketamine at all? Why not just hide it and use it for whatever nefarious plan? This is too stupid. Sadly, because at this point I hate to give the show any credit at all, that is consistent with having been raised in a cult with a male leader.
  15. I knew that there was something wrong with that line. Yes, Olivia's son and thus has the power to kick him out of her home.
  16. It's ironic (hypocritical?) that Dante brings up to Jason that when Sam found Danny drunk she set down rules for him as something that Jason needs to do too for Danny but Dante himself has done nothing to discipline Rocco as Sam did Danny when he did the same thing Rocco just did. For all that Dante is yelling that Gio has been coddled, it wouldn't be surprising if Gio felt unsure of his position. He doesn't have parents who will defend him as Dante is defending Rocco and he is living with the Quartermaines dependent on their good will. Since Dante is Lois' son, Gio may be worried that this could get him kicked out for being a bad influence on Rocco. Is Jason doing as much for Danny as he did for Michael, Morgan or Joss, especially when Carly was single? That's my metric.
  17. Jason to Danny: "You have to look out for Rocco. That's what brothers do." Me: Really Jason? Is that what you did for AJ? The person who is looking the worst in this is Dante (stupid writers). He should have been yelling at Rooco because he's not that much younger than Danny. And at himself for not teaching Rocco how to avoid drinking. I'm going to miss Brad if he's really gone for good. Drew has become one of the most 'hate to watch' villains on this show in a long time. Willow is even more of an idiot than she was yesterday. if she's so worried about losing her kids, don't appear on the press conference as Drew's loving significant other. Why is Isaiah being such a fool about Willow and Drew? It's making him look much less attractive.
  18. Joss is the Secret Agent (who doesn't know why she's doing what she's doing). Emma is an animal rights protester who got kicked out of her previous college for trying to sabotage what Dalton is doing in animal testing and followed him to Port Charles to try to save the animals. Emma was trying to explain to Joss why Dalton is a bad guy and then Joss was able to explain in to Vaughan. Brennan really is following Disraeli's maxim of "never explain". Anne is not involved except that her (long dormant) spider senses started tingling when she heard that Dalton had been at Emma's former university. And no, I don't understand it either. There is no need to test this sort of thing on the higher animals. At least the bioweapon on Will Trent last night made some sort of sense.
  19. The thing that I dislike the most, other than the stupidity of the writing, is that they are ruining Dante for this. He was always the sane, steady one on the show and now he's irrational and judgemental. One slight subtlety is that Gio said today that now he knows what Dante really thinks of him. So even if Dante does a 180, Gio better not.
  20. That would be logical, that she thinks that BL lied and really knows that Gio is her and Dante's son. But logic and Lulu aren't really best buds.
  21. Erika Christensen (Angie) directed this episode. She also directed ep 3x13 with the fabulous Last Dance sequence. I hope she gets the career that she wants because she is good. Ironically, I heard a talk today on how to survive a toxic parents. Too bad Angie couldn't hear it too.
  22. The sheriff seems to not to have any children of his own, and he was a second father to Beau (murdered son of his friend). He's older now and might be glad of having a surprise son when he thought that he would die childless. I liked the scene with the banana bread neighbour; for all that Amanda implied that he is racist, it showed that he isn't. I hope that she doesn't. Will drove her when she was a teenager and had been raped. Now she's an adult and in a consenting relationship. It would be wrong to leave Seth out of it. Next episode is the last of the season so it would be easy to do enough of a time jump to have the baby already born by the start of the next season. I understand that the VA scenes may have been over the top but they were needed 1. so that Nico could meet the homeless vet and be involved in getting the bioweapon to Dr. Seth's hospital and 2. were they really that OTT? From the people I've talked to, getting proper care can be a real problem.
  23. We finally find out why Dalton is nefarious -- testing on "higher animals". How is this anything to do environmental physics. And did the university have no idea that Dalton was doing this research? Because at top universities Investigators have to pass an ethical review before they can do the research. And the WSB can't break into Dalton's lab and stop anything unethical themselves. This is a ridiculous storyline written by people who have no idea of university research. I get it that Dante is upset about Rocco but why hasn't he talked to Rocco before about drinking responsibly? And what does Danti think is going to happen on the debate trip? Those high school students are going to behave like adults? I remember our grade 12 school trip to New York and how many kids got drunk there. Oh Alexis, just tell Kristina already that you know about her cutting the brake line and stop treating her like an imbecile.
  24. In 1503 they couldn't decide and the conclave lasted for three years. Something to look forward to?
  25. I think that it was the show runner's choice to end the show at 4 seasons, the length of time of Bash's residency.
