I think that it was the show runner's choice to end the show at 4 seasons, the length of time of Bash's residency.

Well those were a bunch of twists that i didn't expect. The actor playing the sheriff is great. As deadpan as Will is, but a tiny 20% smile when Amanda told him that she protects Will now. The drywall conversation was just the right touch. Dr. Seth is perfect. (Where can i get one of those for myself?) I'm afraid that he's going to die next episode from the bioweapon. I liked Angie talking to her mom/the sewer, her doubts about raising a child, and Faith reassuring her that children are just people. Fingers crossed that it gets wrapped up next week and isn't an end of season cliffhanger.

And Uncle Lucas. On the Quartermaine side, Cousin Ned, Cousin Brook Lynn and Great Aunt Tracy. Also invisible grandmother Monica. But none of them love Jason as much as Carly does, or want to be so important to his child.

No tension or relationship chemistry and yet so many misunderstandings and failing to give the other person the benefit of the doubt. What happened to romance?

It's still the same evening. Joss and Emma were with Trina as the surgery started and then headed off to the beach party as the surgery was going on where Rocco was drinking. For a tricky surgery like that, Kai could still be in the OR. At best, he would be groggy from the anaesthetic and maybe throwing up. But they needed Portia up and around so that Drew could run in to lambaste her so plot.

.. It should ruin lives ... Lois' and Gloria's specifically. But this show... He isn't an adult ... the frontal cortex in the male only develops fully at ages 30 - 50 (Jung would not treat a man under the age of 35 because he was too immature). Of course his first reactions would be to protect Rocco from getting into trouble. Even Cody's reaction was until he noticed that Rocco's breathing was off and he knew enough to realize that that's a danger sign. If Dante has not had the "this is why you shouldn't drink or be influenced by other to" with Rocco yet, then he has to take some of the blame too. DZ was playing it with enough nuance that it's possible that Dante blames himself somewhat what happened. Even if she doesn't I'll bet that Lulu gets the clue. Let's get this finally over with. ETA: Carly calling Danny an adrenaline junkie was interesting because that's a term often used for someone with ADHD. Danny's ppor judgement and difficulty learning from past mistakes could be ADHD-like

A blind man in a coma could have seen that Lois would reveal who Gio is. Also, as if that would make a difference to Rocco almost dying. Did Dante ever have the "the dangers of drinking" talk with Rocco? There is blame to spread around, Dante. Portia: "Kai will probably sleep for a long time because of the operation." [Kai wakes up.] That is the quickest recovery from a spinal surgery in history. Alexis is being an idiot. She needs to tell Kristina that she knows about the brake line. As Diane pointed out earlier, Alexis always falls on her sword for Kristina and it just ends up making things worse. When Kristina appeared, it would be an excellent time to have Alexis say "Ric and Ava are blackmailing me." But Alexis won't. Kristina: "That's why I ended up talking to a therapist when I lost my baby." My money is on the therapist having no idea how nuts Kristina is because Kristina doesn't tell her. I really like Carly's outfit with the pink jacket. Also, good talk with Danny. Will Carly talk to Joss too if she hears that Joss saw Danny there and didn't send him home? Yes. If the family is toxic or dangerous it is better to get the baby away. But some adoptive families can be toxic too or even just rejecting of a child that is different from themselves so there is no easy answer. Olivia for one should be furious that she wasn't given the opportunity to raise her grandson while Lois did but given her love of Lois and her disdain for Quartermaine money, she will probably forgive all within an episode.

The writers are really desperately trying to make us care about Jo and Linc's wedding. Spoiler I don't. A couple of episodes ago Simone refused to follow Amelia's instructions in the OR; this episode Millin repeatedly interjects her personal feelings about the patient's father during the operation and criticizes Winston. Is this how Gen Z behaves, thinking that they know better than people who have had a dozen in Winston's case and a couple of dozen in Amelia's.experience and who are their bosses? It's very unattractive and makes me want to only have older doctors. I like Lucas. And I could warm to Blue. But Simone and Millin can find other hospitals any time now.

Robin blew up Carly's fantasy of a family with Michael and Jason. Unforgivable. I don't think that any woman should be forced to be a mother if she doesn't want to be or isn't ready. But if you're going to go for adoption, let family have the option to be the ones adopting. Which is what Lois and Gloria did. Gio was adopted by a close friend and when she died, Lois and Gloria took over taking care of him. They essentially adopted Gio without giving anyone else in the family, including Brook Lynn, to know who he is.

Emma was working on the data program at the hospital. She had a version on her laptop with errors and corrected them while waiting for Trina. And when she was done, she saved the corrected version not on her laptop, not on both the laptop and thumb drive but on the thumb drive only. Idiot. (Plot contrivance, if she had a copy on her laptop, she could have proved to Dalton that the version on the thumb drive had been altered. I don't think that I've ever handed anything in on a thumb drive. Do people even use them these days? And as someone said above ( @TVbitch?) what professor wouldn't want 50 thumb drives handed in on an assignment? I really thought that Martin had written down that Gio was Brook Lynn's baby but I guess that I remember wrong. I typed London Ontario first but then I checked to see if there were any Londons in the US (there are five). At least then Rocco would not have needed a passport. (60% of Americans don't have a passport.)
-
Emma is an idiot. Why doesn't back up the latest version on their laptop and leaves an old version on it instead? )(I know, I know, plot) "[Emma] doesn't know what's at stake." Do you Joss? Has anyone told you just why you need to be Dalton's RA or are you just take it on faith? I'm with Tracy. Go away Lois. You are as judgemental as you accuse Tracy of being. Rocco is going to London for a debate trip (!). London Ohio? London New Hampshire? London Connecticut? Cuz i'm pretty sure he's not good enough for a debate tournament in London UK. Am i supposed to like Portia? Or sympathize with her? She needs to be a better person first. At least Brad doesn't pretend to be a good person. A Merck Manual on the bookshelf behind Lucas. Well done, set dresser. That would be a much better story, for us and for Lulu. This adoption story is ridiculous because she doesn't even have a focus for it (bad journalism), it's just hauled out so the show can torture Brook Lynn and have her fight with Lulu.. Carly of course sees it as a parallel to Robin telling AJ about Michael. But it's not because everyone knew that Michael was her child; no one knew that Brook Lynn had a baby. Which is why Lulu needs to first talk to him to see if he knows that he is adopted.* If he doesn't (and we know that he doesn't, he thinks that he inherited his musical ability from his violinist mother), she needs to rethink blowing up his life. There is no nuance to Lulu. It's all a zero sum game to her. There is no nuance to the story either. Just get it over with already. *just as Alexis should have talked to Kristina first before asking Diane to draw up the commitment papers. TFGH.

I guess there are only so many transplants that GH can do. Although come to think of it, it should be a lab tech taking the blood, not a transplant specialist. And while we're talking of that, Brad, the lab tech should ot have been able to get access to ketamine since he's not allowed access to the narcotics cabinet. Although Portia has.

Brooke Lynn is over-reacting but my sympathies are still with her because it is easier for Lulu to drop it than it is for BL. Going by Lulu's interviews with her cousin Lucas and her mother, she doesn't really have a focus for her article [eyeroll on the writing]. It would be easy to swerve to something nothing to do with Brooke Lynn's story and reassure Brooke Lynn that she will keep her secret. Heck, do something on the Sixties Scoop and how both children and parents are dealing with it now. But she won't because Lulu doesn't want to let Brook Lynn off the hook. She wants her to suffer.
-
I have to give the show credit for presenting an interesting problem in terms of looking for Brook Lynn's baby. I'm now leaning to Dante finding out about the baby and Brook Lynn and Dante together deciding what to do. I support the mother having the decision for a baby but for a 21 year old adult, the dad should have a say too. On the other hand, Lulu continues to be a self-absorbed shrew. While there are legitimate reasons for doing an article on adoption (try to interview someone you're not related to, Lulu) the only reason she is pushing it is to force Brook Lynn to tell Dante, possibly to look like Dante's hero so he will love her again. If Lulu's entire journalism career depends on writing this one particular article, she's a crap journalist. It's an interview piece like a term paper, not even investigative journalism. Have some empathy and pitch another idea. In other stories, LOL that Carly thinks that she could have done the Drew drugging better. And maybe she really could have. Joss is an idiot. She's ready to sabotage Emma's work and she doesn't even know why it's important that she get the job as Dalton's RA. Not to mention, what if she gets the job and fails at it? (Of course, Joss would never think that she could fail at anything.) Kudos to EM for the mocking looks that Joss was throwing Vaughan's way. What is Original Recipe Aquaman? Other than not Jason Momoa. And as always JE gave a masterclass in acting. Was it Danny? I thought that is was Rocco. And if it was and Brook Lynn sees how Dante handles it, it may be the (unsubtle) catalyst to push her into telling him about his older son.

I immediately back up everything to the cloud. If it's important to a thumb drive and an external hard drive. And every time I add data or make a change, I file the new version under a different number so I can correct it quickly if it gets corrupted. And everything is emailed now, not handed in by hand. But hey, what do I know? How did Joss not know about the extra credit assignment? And wouldn't she be better writing her own program instead of stealing and corrupting Emma's? At least she didn't try to steal and claim it as her own. Where are Wylie and Amelia since Willow is so angry that she left Drew's house without checking on them. And what kind of school does Wylie go to that the children in grade 2 all have their own phones? That is not good education. (Australia has banned cell phones in public schools entirely.) As usual, Laura is the only competent parent on the show. Good scenes with Laura and Lulu. Tracy is really spreading fuel on the feud between Brook Lynn and Lulu. Is it the Edward in her? On the shallow, Brook Lynn was wearing the hoop earrings that Stella wore a couple of weeks ago. I wonder if there is a joint costume box for the cast.

They would throw her a parade for saving her daughter.

I was catching up on Suits L.A. In episode 9, Gabriel Macht returns as Harvey and there is a brief mention of him missing his brother who died. At the end of the episode, there is a notecard "In memory of Billy Miller" 😢

I bet Drew looks at Sex Worker's phone and realizes that he was set up by Nina. Because this show is allergic to real suspence. And who leaves in the morning without their phone? Nina is doing this all wrong -- she should be encouraging Willow to give Drew another chance because you know that Drew is going to blame it all on her. Ditto Alexis not going to Kristina immediately when she heard about the cut brakes. Is there any good parenting on this show other than Laura? I wish that I were as sure of the lottery numbers as I was that Brennan will offer Carly a ride on the WSB plane. And how does Brick have the WSB on speed dial? Anna has notoriously bad taste in men so I'm surprised that she wasn't attracted to Dalton. Is she still hung up on Valentine? Jason and his half-truth about Sonny How about telling Gio how Sonny hung AJ on a meat hook to force him to sign over his custodial rights? That only applies if Michael is incapacitated and can't make his own medical decisions. He clearly can now so so Willow has no power to do anything around Michael. Of course, Drew has even less authority over the clinic administrator. But plot.
-
mmmm As Brook Lynn said, every day she is torn that she made the right decision and she wanted to spare Dante the pain. But the real problem is the child who may not know that he is adopted and to learn could tear his world apart. Brook Lynn and Dante don't have the right to do that much less Lulu. The more I see of Lulu, the more I agree with this. Worse, the writing is just next door to having Dante fall into her arms again because they wuv each other so much. I can see that with Liz and Lucky but for Dante, I just want to shout Run! Run!
-
It is part of separating Willow from Michael and his family, that Drew is the only person that Willow can trust. Should it come to that though, Carly will fight tooth and nail to keep the kids and Drew would let her since Willow would not know. It's a win-win for him
-
Portia is awfully buddy-buddy with Nina considering how completely she cut her when they met during the "Port Charles hates Nina" days. LOL at Carly projecting all her own feelings and prejudices on Willow. This episode was pretty boring. Even Tracy giving money to Boyle who was about to tear down her family's mausoleum wasn't that interesting.
-
The only reason that I can see for the show to send Willow to 'Germany' is to introduce the new Michael. If there is going to be a documentary about Kai, it has to start now, before the surgery and then follow the surgery and recovery. Otherwise it's just a media interview. It's actually quite clever of Drew. Also clever and manipulative of Drew is to convince to move to DC with the kids where he will be the only one to influence her weak little mind.

I would watch the hell out of a series starring Amanda and Evelyn with recurring performances by Alonso and with Faith for the snark.. Also, I understand why it is important to show Will's manpain but it's not entertaining any more. I guess it's going to be Angie's turn now. I wanted to shout "Don't take that drink!" Molly Price did a good job as Angie's mom but I think that she's better as e acerbic as in the detective on Elsbeth. ETA: Wild Cards did the thief-with-a-fake-pregnant-belly last year but there are only so many ideas and many cop shows.

Kudos to whoever dressed Ava in that glorious gold fabric to celebrate being in the money again. Alexis still hasn't talked to Kristina. Yet again. that's the first thing that she should have done. Why is Portia going to Drew to stop Kai's surgery? He's not a doctor and Kai is anadult. I doubt Kai will want to stop now that he thinks he can play football again. Meanwhile, Sonny-the-, the scariest mob boss on the east coast, must be constantly catered to by Lucy, Brook Lynn and yes, Maxie. It's those monstrously high heels she wears so that she can fit into the same shot as Kai.

Sasha: "I want to know that I can support myself and my child" so I'm going to take Sidwell's money to do it. (She's such a flake.) The actress playing Suzanne, Alexis' assistant, was she on the show earlier playing a psychic? Does Alexis get her hair clips at the same dollar store that I do? I like that the office has a hard cover copy of New Yorker cartoons in the waiting room. Even though her ex-husband of 30 years ago is the bad guy, Deception is terminating Natalia's contract ... how is that fair? Especially from Lucy who has a very shady past of her own. So Natalia's children have different fathers and yet they are both gay. Has she ever considered that she is the common factor? I liked Maxie's outfit, especially compared to Lucy's, Natalia's and Brook Lynn's Italian grandmother look. Joss: "I don't know how I got into environmental physics. I didn't ask for any special favors." Sure, Joss. I don't care about the 70,403th retread of Sonny/Carly/Jason. Except that just because Carly tells Sonny everything, Jason, that doesn't mean that Natalia, who divorced Sidwell 30 years ago and hates him, will tell her ex everything.
