Jason being willing to move into Chez Quartermaine is the most he's done for any one of his kids ever. Dante must be rubbing off on him. Molly seem to be a zero sum game: either she's good with TJ or she's good with Kristina. Under this writing team, not both. I am so bored by Ava's trial. They all deserve each other. Karma is sweet. Ordinarily a union rep would only come on the scene when someone was being accused, not when they were trying to figure out what went on. But good point, Portia is not above blaming an innocent person to get the situation out of her hair.

Very arrogant of Drew to think that Scout needs to be with her deadbeat father in Washington rather than with her family in Port Charles. Jason didn't have the right to hit Drew but if there is a custody battle brewing, all he has to do is tell Drew that he will make public that Drew slept with Willow. Drew will fold like a cheap suit. Michael is such a weenie, although CD did a good job on today's show. Is Diane away mourning the loss of her relationship with Robert? You can do better, Diane, than a man who wants Holly no matter what. The painting in Diane/Alexis' office looks like a bunch of Post-it notes on a bulletin board. It would drive me crazy to have to see it. Yesterday's show: Portia referring to herself as "Chief Robinson" so one of the hospital's doctors or addressing Liz as "Nurse Baldwin" is so pretentious. Didn't Portia and Liz socialize a few times? Portia really should be using first names with her. It's a huge overstep of Portia to suggest that Liz should have a union rep there, suggesting that Liz is responsible for Sam's death. Are the scenes with Lulu present day or flashbacks to when she was in Turning Wood just before her liver crashed? It's very confusing. I thought that the doctor talking to Cyrus said how much she's improved now that Laura brought her to Turning Wood and the room doesn't look like a GH room.

It is typical of Jason to say that Danny should be the one to decide where he lives. But Danny is a teenager (with an immature frontal cortex) and while he should be asked about what he wants, the final decisions should not be up to him. Drew has really become a sleaze -- implying to Alexis that Jason is violent for no reason and dangerous to the kids when Jason had a good reason to hit Drew. And speaking of creepy guys, TJ saying that "the two most self-=selfish people he know" remembered Molly's birthday but he didn't, and then justifying his lack of caring for Molly, propped up by his mother. Isaiah deserves better. Drew doesn't care. At least Jason is going to let Danny get a vote. Is it all going to get resolved with a new will? Typical GH lazy writing.

My mother couldn't do it either, and that was okay. When she died 12 years later, it was left to me to donate his things, and that was okay. I like it! Can I add Secrets of the Canvas: Trina and Ava look into art forgeries and works that have been stolen by invaders from their real owners. Same. It was a relief when mine got to be old enough to live on their own because no option was really great. I can understand Dante and Sam not talking about it because they weren't married so that while they functioned as a family, there was no stamp of permanence on it. Plus the kids were his and hers, and they had other family members. Maybe if they had had a child in common, they would have worked something out.

He wasn't even sitting with Scout. She was with her real family. I don't mind that Leo wasn't there at the funeral. He was Sam's half brother but also young and tangential enough in her life that it wouldn't help him to be at the funeral and hear everyone sad about Sam dying. It wouldn't help him to attend and Sam is beyond caring. It's all his choice though. Monica is always desperate to have more contact with him, Danny idolizes him and wants more, Jake has given up on having a real relationship with his father. He chose to protect Carly over going back to Port Charles and a possible relationship with Britt. If he wanted relationships with the people on Port Charles, he would be welcomed with open arms. But he doesn't.

What struck me mot through all this episode is how insulting it is to Kelly Monaco that they are spending weeks of screentime eulogizing Sam after she was fired. This is what a longtime character like Bobbie should have got when JZ died. Not a character who died because Frank was petty about the actress. That said, the actors really rose to the occasion, especially NLG and DZ, and I enjoyed the flashbacks. She's angry at Jason for hitting Drew cuz she doesn't know that Drew slept with Willow a few days ago. Honestly, I was surprised that Drew was there because CM's Drew has zero in common with BM's Drew other than the name. I think it's a result of the terrible story running and writing. Only Carly's children get real storylines (look at poor Chase compared to Michael, or Dante given how much superior an actor DZ is compared to CD) and everyone else gets leftover sitcom or romcom stories.

I thought that I saw some jealousy on the part of Anna but concluded that it was just wishful thinking. I'll settle for her reaching out to Sasha; she technically could have been Sasha's stepmother (and not attached to Cody).

I have to give JJ credit for acting, he was puffing and breathing as if he was really working out while hitting that bag lighter than I would. But if I were JJ, I'd be really pissed off at whoever was giving me this insipid, whiny dialogue and regret my decision to return. Of course Carly went to Drew "to fix [Jason's] mess" because she can't ever not be involved in what 'her' people do. Line of the day goes to Jason: Ric: "I bet you want to punch me right now." Jason: Doesn't everyone?" Also both Ric and Drew are stupid if they think that just kissing Willow is going to make jason turn up and beat Drew like that. They need to have more of Terri as CoS and less of Portia in the role. More chem testing Isaiah and Jordon but I like him better with Molly. As Alexis said, she is her father's daughter. He is studying music at PCU, for which he left Julliard (if I remember correctly),. Because apparently the PCU music program is better than Julliard's. <eyeroll>

She decided to go traveling at the time Korte needed Scott to be in Lucy's orbit to make Martin jealous before ushering his southern gentleman persona off. Everything is for plot.

I thought that Price built up a great defense for the girl, that the school was giving away extra time to those whose parents bought it and penalizing the kids who genuinely needed the time because of learning or emotional issues. And then suddenly he's using to prove motive. WTH is wrong with this show? Last episode a traumatized 13 year old was tried as an adult after being lied to, and this episode the corrupt system wins. I never thought that the lawyers were supposed to be the bad guys. At the least, I wanted the episode to end in a public scandal for the school because of how they were basically selling high grades to rich students. Not everyone got it, and many of those who did were the children of rich parents who basically bought their neuro-normal kids extra perks rather than the kids who genuinely needed it. For parents of kids who are neurodivergent or with learning disabilities, it really becomes a "we" thing, researching the best way to scaffold and support them. Especially now when information is easy to find over the internet, many parents know more about how to treat these conditions than teachers or counsellors do. A friend of mine could not find knowledgable tutors for her daughters so she did her own research and founded her own specialized agency.

Are they chem testing Molly with Isaiah now? I thought that he was for Jordan i.e. Molly's quasi mother-in-law. The writers really love cross-generational shenanigans. I was bored with the Ava/baby/Kristina - losing- it two months ago and it's not getting any better. Please put me out of my misery and move on. At least Molly and Kristina didn't fight today. TJ seems to have completely forgotten the birthday of his domestic partner and is still on about how she doesn't pay him enough attention. I guess the nod to Little Women is sweet about Molly but why a new edition of a book more than 150 years old? (The last time I tried to read it, I gave up from the 19th century prejudices) Consider me shocked that Michael is acting like an adult about his marriage, just as i want it to completely blow up.

I can't see Jason, Drew or even Alexis fighting for custody if the kids want to live with Dante and Rocco. Of course, when lulu wakes up all bets are off. (Will they show Lulu doing through the months of physical rehab that she should need? I doubt it, she'll be back home in a week.) I like that Sasha is a tie to Robert now that he is no longer on the show but creating this story that not only makes Holly a terrible mother but Robert the latest deadbeat dad, is just so wrong. The trope does work but the Trina/Kai meet-cute was so stale and unimaginative, Hallmark would be ashamed. It's another example of the bad writing on this show. They give us a feeling and we are supposed to buy it as the whole complex story. Felicia regretted, and then she changed. Holly says that she regrets but she doesn't change. Worse, she's contagious, she's got Robert to abandon his new-found daughter for her. Sri Rao, where are you when we need you? Given what I've been hearing on the news from elected officials, I can believe that no one on staff does. They should check with NLG.
-
Figuring out what marks to give the different members of the group on a group project i always hard but I can't believe that that TA didn't factor in the fact that Trina's partner didn't show up at all. Sadly, I don't think that the writers care. This writing crew is often far too superficial.

The writers really shouldn't have tried for Casablanca. This was so embarrassing. And by the way, Ingrid Bergman was really in love with Humphrey Bogart, not the husband that she was leaving with. Did the writers think that we haven't actually seen the movie? Robert promising that he and Holly would be back. Robert yes, Holly noooooo So much for Sasha. She lost Cody (and Brando and Liam) and now she doesn't even have Robert. And speaking of movie rip-offs, Trina/Kai is pure One On One (now there's a blast from the past). Is Jason actually considering having Danny live with him? This I gotta see. [not] Even so, he's being a better dad than Lucky is. The women on this show really have to do the heavy lifting, Mac and the now departed Finn being the exceptions. (Robert lost his cred leaving Sasha to go off with Holly.) I vote for a puppy because she at least could take him or her outside with her. I love cats but Sasha needs to get out and have a life. It's not SM's accent for me but the awkward timing of her lines. She pauses in the strangest places, and then rushes through the next words. But I have to give her credit, she's improved a lot during her time on the show.
-
But then how would they get us to believe that Holly is Robert's HEA? I hate being gaslit.
-
It may even have been only yesterday as Drew is just now returning Willow's earring unless no one ever cleans the playroom. A shoulder is far enough from her uterus and they'll put a lead apron over it anyway. Sssshhh. They're hoping that we don't notice. Or maybe they didn't notice. I'd like her to have a win too, especially that now she no longer has Cody and Robert is probably leaving the show. But no one, not even Willow, deserves baby-hoarding Carly as your child's grandmother, especially if you are not married to the child's father.
-
Damn, they are really pushing Holly as the love of Robert's life with everything they've got. Are they trying to make Robert deadtome? Felicia may have left Mac a few times but she never hid a secret child from him. That should totally be a dead breaker but no, on this show it's just proof that they belong together. And then there's Felicia pushing Sasha to forgive her mother. 🤢 I understand if TR wants to retire but Robert deserves so much better than this. Meanwhile Drew refuses to leave Willow alone, and Michael, instead of talking to her, makes an appointment with Diane. Typical Michael. And to no one's surprise, they are teasing Sasha being pregnant with Michael's baby. Zzzzzzz (Nice scene with Alexis and Diane though.)

Dante is the single parent of a teenage son and has a fulltime job that requires him to work long and variable hours.. While Danny and Scout may want to continue living in Sam's condo with him and Rocco, is Dante willing or even able to take on two grieving children who may resent Rocco for having a mom while theirs died trying to save her?
-
That's an ewwww for me. Not just the sister to Robin thing but mostly that SBu has aged badly and looks more than 20 years older than Sofia. I's rather Jason with Anna than Sasha. A delaying tactic so that he doesn't have to make any decisions right now (he's putting all of the funeral in Alexis' hands) but it also makes sense because it gives the greatest stability to the kids at the moment.Alexis is in no shape to deal with the upheaval of them moving in with her and dealing with their grief and loss as well as her own.
-
JE is a treasure and the Tracy/Cody scenes were delightful.. (Does Tracy have a hair stylist come in every morning to do her hair? Those hairstyles are gorgeous but very complicated to do by oneself.) It's understandable that Alexis and Dante haven't talked about where Danny and Scout will be staying now. Their scene was painful to watch, in a good way. Now that Jason has rescued Sasha, is she going to sleep with him? Willow tells me that it's the right thing to do. Brennan promised Anna to keep her informed about what's going on but doesn't call her. He's perfect for Carly. Ric was right that Anna is too close to mobsters but it falls flat because of the messenger. Chase and Brook Lynn are pure Zzzzzzz. She does it for those she deems worthy of her concern (always her kids and grandkids; other people depending on how she feels about them in that particular moment) but the opportunity to get in someones face and yell at them energizes her, like a good workout or a win at work energizes others.
-
We know that's not going to happen... In yesterday's episode, when Willow walked in the door of the Quartermaine house, she told Michael that she had gone to check on the kids. Were the two little children in the gatehouse alone? Great mother there. Hope that the gatehouse has a nanny cam too at least. DZ and NLG have both been knocking their scenes out of the park. Special kudos to NLG for being willing to do these scenes with out makeup to show how badly Alexis is taking this.

As much as I hate Sasha being Robert's daughter, I like this new, strong Sasha who is trying to play Sidwell. Carly to Brennan; "You care about me." Yes Carly, because when Sasha is kidnapped and in danger, the important thing is that the men around you care about you. And then she goes to interfere in Lucas' life. The narcissism never stops with her. Portia; "When the results come back, I pray that Sam didn't die from surgeon error." [Meanwhile, I'm going to make Lucas feel like crap.] As the only Black couple on the show, it's a shame that Portia and Curtis are such fast forward material. I suspect that seeing how ugly and hurtful it is could make people less likely to do it in real life. Most parents don't want to deliberately hurt their children, it comes as a byproduct of the anger at their partner.

It's soapy, but Sasha has lost her grandmother, her baby, her husband and been cheated by her mother-in-law. Then she found out that the guy she's in love with is her cousin, and slept with Michael. Hasn't Sahsa suffered enough? I wish that I could give this a score of likes. It's a tough choice. Drew is more foul this month but Michael has been awful for years now.
-
Even if Willow had her fingers crossed behind her back when she married Chase, it still counts as a marriage. Chase did not deserve to have her cheat on him. Between Michael sleeping with Sasha as soon has he heard that Willow kissed Drew (horrors!) and then having sex with Willow, and Willow angry at Sasha because she wants to make her marriage work and then running to "comfort" Drew, Michael and Willow truly deserve each other. It's a tricky situation because it's likely (hopefully?) Willow would be horrified to have designs on a man that her mother is in a relationship with. It's bad enough that she's having an adulterous emotional affair, to hear that she's having feelings for a man that her mother is involved with should make her feel even worse. Although maybe not, this is Willow after all. I agree, the start of the Drew/Nina affair had so much potential to be something good, an enemies-to-collaborateurs-to-something. They had the sparkly sparring that was Robert/Anna and Robert/Holly in the old days and which no couple seems to have now. I cannot agree with the writers' decision to ruin that for this grossness.

Pillow talk with Holly? LOL at Scout wondering who is going to make her sandwiches and take her to school now. That says it all about Drew's hands'on [not] parenting. When Scout drew a picture of Sam taking her, Danny and Rocco to the park, I wondered 'What do two teenage boys do at the park with their mother?' Maybe it was Scout's fantasy and the start of art therapy around her mother's death. That is how the hospital returned my mother's wedding ring to me. It seems icky but safer than in an envelope that could fall open.
