The show likes to pretend that but when you compare Amelia to Owen, Teddy, Mullin (who is jumping into bed with strangers), Winston who is on dating apps and then ghosting the women, Koracick, an even Meredith who went through relationships like used tissue after Derek died, at this point, Amelia is one of the more stable people on this show.

She recognizes that Will is in a very bad place, that he wants to be punished, and that makes him very vulnerable especially to a cult. Making the cult leader a better therapist than Will's therapist is ... a choice?

Seeing Lila's picture on the wall reminded me that I saw Anna Lee last week opposite Boris Karloff in Bedlam. She was good. This show really done her wrong. (This is something that really bugs me, that everyone on the show, no matter how wealthy e.g. Joss, always takes ride shares. What about the taxi drivers who have invested thousands of dollars into the taxi ticket and are just trying to make a living? In my city a taxi license used to cost $360,000 (a large investment by the taxi owner), now it's a quarter of that and taxi drivers are struggling.)

I like that Emma called out Anna. About time. It's ironic that Emma brought up Robin's HIV because AIDS is about to get worse now that USAID is no longer providing treatment or prevention. Poor Alexis is having a bad day. Drew was being a pooh head around Scout, who he's using as an object to get Willow, and then having to go to the hospital for Molly. I did like the line about not trying out a new family like trying out a tie. And there is no way that 6 year old Wylie and baby Amelia are in any way a replacement for Danny and Rocco any more than Willow is for Sam. What would be best for Scout is to stay with the Quartermaines with Danny and Rocco for as long as Lulu let's him but Drew needs her to reel Willow in. GH timeline: At Ava's presumably after leaving Alexis' office, Rick tells her that he just made a truce with Alexis and doesn't want to spoil it by Kristina finding him there. At Charlie's Molly told Kristina that the truce has been on for a couple of days now. Where did those days slip in?

Mickey and Kacey suggested that Ahearn was in on it since he was friends with both Lafferty and Jimmy. But even if he weren't and only knew about what Lafferty was doing, it would be smart to get Lafferty away from Mickey when she started looking deeper into the ODs. She's smart and she cared about the women so the odds were good that she was going to figure out that Lafferty was involved. To protect Lafferty and himself, Ahearn would have agreed to let Mickey drop Lafferty. Emily/Melissa told Kacey that the murderer is Mickey's partner. Kacey told Mickey that it's Truman because that is who she thought Mickey's partner was. After Mickey blew up her relationship with Truman, she went back to Kacey and pressed her for Emily's exact words. As soon as she heard the word "partner", she figured out that it was Lafferty and called Detective Danjarat who checked out Lafferty's place and found the insulin. In the last scene with Danjarat, they are talking about IA investigating Ahearn. Ahearn was denying that he had anything to do with the drugs. Mickey suggested to Danjarat that he may be willing to talk in exchange for a plea deal.

King was put in charge of an area (yellow?) with Santos and Whittaker under her. Yes, Santos repeatedly ignored what King told her. At one point Santos finished with the patient and asked what's next. Mohan (3rd year) told her to monitor the patient that they had just brought back with Narcan. Santos replied "Boring" and went off to look for something more exciting. Santos is, in the parlance of my youth, "a cowboy". More an adrenaline junkie than Langdon who at least will treat everyone who needs treatment. She wants to fly before she can walk and she wants the glory of being the top. It's unfortunate that Abbott reinforced her because while it was a kickass job that she did, Santos is going to hurt someone skipping steps the way she does. This episode felt longer than the last one even though technically it was shorter. I liked that the woman with the arm injury even though her actual injury was not so bad was in shock. The WWI term "shell shocked" is a good descriptor. That would have been a much better way to have handled it, although I can understand that she was too stressed to be able to think outside the box like that. (Also I don't trust that one of the cops wouldn't have arrested her on the spot.)

I'm getting tired of so many characters using sex as a drug when they're felling bad. I know that it started from the pilot episode but after 21 seasons, it's a very tired trope. I also never understand how the research stuff on this show works because it has nothing to do with how real life works+. Do they pull it out of their hats? Meredith published the research so Koracick could use it as a jumping off point but it was still Meredith and Amelia's research. That should count for something when deciding who gets money for further research. The problems with research on males only has been well known since Carol Tavris published Mismeasure of Woman: Why Women are Not the Better Sex, the Inferior Sex, or the Opposite Sex in 1992 so no one should have been surprised that Meredith was offended that Koracik was using only male mice. Koracik is studying mice, Meredith and Amelia were going to do a retrospective human study (if I understand correctly). Why not fund partially? Neither can be that much money, not like a drug trial. The irony is that in March 2025, Meredith's study on female mice would be considered DEI and not eligible for federal funding money and probably rejected by private.

Kristina is a bit old to develop bipolar affective disorder but what she did there was definitely lacking normal thought processes. I wonder if that's where they are going with this. (I'm not looking forward to it if they are.) On the plus side, that's showgirl material. (I used to work with a colleague who was a former Vegas showgirl. The stories she told!)

Drew is a miracle worker if he can get the demolition papers sign and the bulldozer there in less than a day. if only he would be as effective with his actual job. (It's absolutely ridiculous that it happened so fast and without the Quartermaines being informed about the court date.) Good payoff on Emma's abrasiveness and joy in bucking the system. Finally someone is recording! What is the point of an android phone if you don't use it? So now Maxie's apartment which became Finn's apartment is now the Canadian apartment of the hitman. At least change the walls up a bit. Lucy also thinks that Sidwell is interested in her. The only person I saw any spark with Sidwell was with Alexis and that's because she hates the Cassadine legacy. That was awesome. That's a great point. If I were Kai, I would be running this by my doctors first before agreeing to anything. We're not used to subtle on this show. Good plotting though because Ric, who is now in danger, is Molly's father. And we've just had the scene of Lucky and Liz planning their getaway. There's even some tension because unlike Sonny, Carly and their kids, something bad may actually happen to them.

Lucas is upset that Brad blackmailed Portia to get close to him. Not that Portia did something so bad that she needs a lawyer to get her out of it. Also Lucas, who now is a renal specialist as well as a trauma and ER surgeon, thinks that people should do their own medical research. Do real doctors agree? Whatever Becky Herbst is doing to keep looking 30 years younger, I want some. The Esplanade/Pier discussion makes no sense. The original reason for rejecting the pier is because it has no infrastructure and it would cost too much to put it in. So why is everyone suddenly saying it's a good idea? Sonny, you do realize that you can't take a gun to Toronto, right? Canada has laws against that.(Americans are always surprised when border officials take their guns away.) Also Jason, I'm pretty sure that the cardiologists in Toronto can handle anything that may happen to Sonny. The way Sasha keeps going to Jason about the baby, I expect him to be pretty fed up with her by now. The number of times Sonny has told her that if it weren't for Avery she would be dead, Ava has reason.

I really hope so. This episode had the feel of wrapping things up. Tess resolved the mystery of her mother's death and her hatred for her mother's boyfriend, Sunni saw a therapist, started a relationship with Kye and reconciled with her mother. Jake is back on the force and it looks like he and Tess are together. I just get the feeling that the producers of the show didn't know if it would be renewed so they wrapped up the stories that had been going on for the two seasons, and then threw in a cliffhanger (Jake getting show0 just in case they got a third season. Fingers crossed they do.

If the estate took back Wyndermere, Ava should be taking it to court to get some of Nik's personal money. Sonny lied to Laura saying that he was being cordial to Ava when in reality he was blackmailing her. Cody to Lulu: "I don't know why Dante didn't come clean to you back then." Me: I do. Because they hadn't retconned the story yet. It's sad that the best part of the show was Gio and Emma trying to save the crypt to save Tracy. What is it with all these Sekrit Children on this show? Dex is dead and Gio is now accounted for. If it's not Vaughan (who cares?) then there is yet another new character I doubt I will care abouton the overstuffed canvas

Kristina, I'm begging you. Seek psychological help. This obsession with destroying Ava is helping no one, least of all Avery who needs her real mother, not pseudo mother Carly. in the same vein, Lucas, Sonny's money does not replace Avery losing Ava. Why are you people so stupid? And speaking of stupid, the Quartermaines should just threaten Drew with the publicity of having everyone know that he is trying to move the resting place of his father and grandparents for a vendetta. That plus never being in DC to do any work should lose him the next election. Why does Ava owe money to the IRS? Hasn't she been paying her taxes on time? If she is making enough money to owe $2 million to the IRS, then she is making enough to leverage a loan. Lulu suddenly doesn't need money? Even if Dante helps, how is she going to support her new house and Charlotte? There are too many idiotic plots going on at the same time. Ric apparently doesn't believe in whatever the legal equivalent of HIPAA is. I really need Brennan to be playing Carly because a middle-aged super spy being willing to change his life for her is just too much to accept. It is in character for this Lulu to be so impulsive that she quits her job because her feelings were hurt by Chase. But it's not a good look.

Maybe he resents having another child because he doesn't want to move on from the place where he is, grieving Danny and the loss of his family with Amy and their two children. (We know that this is a surprise baby because Nora said that she didn't think that she would get pregnant and seemed very happy that she was.) Michael is an emotional mess.
