Wow very informative thread. There's probably a lot of movies I like that do this but now any future movie I see that does I'm going to know it's inaccurate!

As great as his performances was on B:TAS his later work on Justice League later is my favorite.

The reason Star Wars and Star Trek have endured is the real genius of Lucas and Roddenberry was creating great settings for writers far better than them. What I like the most about the show and Rogue One is it makes the members of the Rebellion more than these anonymous background extras who were just waiting for Luke and Han to show up and be the big heroes. They were heroes in their own right. Also that the Empire were horrifying even before they blew up planets and made up of monsters who don't have Force powers.

A notorious episode among the fandom. It's a weird one. Thing I like most about the 90s Columbo especially after seeing the Lindsay Crouse one is that a lot of them feel like a 90s cable/direct to video erotic thriller that Columbo just happens to show up in the middle of! I get a kick out of that.

I think those could be Death Star parts they're building. Again the production design continues to be incredible. I knew Forrest Whitaker was coming back as Saw Gerrera from the trailer. Seeing Andy Serkis was a great surprise. I think Mon Mothma's daughter will mistake her and her old friend are having an affair and that will screw up their plans concerning the Rebellion. It's funny to see people online amazed that the show is getting away with making "anti prison" and "anti police" sentiments. Science fiction stories with political commentary hidden behind aliens and spaceships from Wells to Serling. I guess because it's Disney people are surprised.

Looks like Peyton Reed got to direct a Fantasfic Four movie after all! I've read some online lamenting that they liked that the first two Ant Man movies were low key, low stakes comedies compared to the huge world-threatening plots of the other MCU films. I think that having familiar characters with already established dynamics will make all the crazy cosmic stuff easier to take.

If the Queen had seen the show she'd probably be more upset at how they portrayed her sister and husband even if she herself was being flattered.

I don't think KC3 has anything to worry about. Unlike Josh O'Connor, Dominic West looks and sounds so far from him people probably won't believe that's what happened! Nobody's going to look at the square jaw and broad shoulders and see the guy the world thought got lucky in his marriage despite being a prince!

The money shot will probably be young William watching the interview.

I don't hate her but Julianna's British accent as Morgana in The Mists of Avalon miniseries was like nails on a chalkboard to me.

I remember the brief time Ford grew a mustache in the 90s and thought it looked sooooo wrong. Now though I can't wait to see it again!

Abby was there to replace Carol and Luka to replace Doug. The thing about that though is they stumbled on the Doug and Carol thing by accident because she was supposed to die from suicide in the pilot. The test audiences liked her so much she survived and became a regular. There was never supposed to be a nurse as a main character. Usually writers don't think they're interesting compared with doctors but the failed suicide attempt and the rocky relationship with Doug gave them a lot to explore. They tried to make lighting strike twice with Abby but without that crucial backstory.

Pardon me but I remember Luka telling her she's "not that pretty"! So the writers are aware she isn't that hot. I like Maura because of when she played Lisa Miller on Newsradio one of my favorite shows. The fact that she's just attractive but not spectacular when her love interest is Dave Foley and not hunky doctors! I can't look at DJ Qualls. He's like some skinny human/byrd hybrid.

I really hope Vel and Cinta are reunited by the end of the series! I knew Nevik wasn't going to make it but damn, not like that. Disappointed in Skeen. As a long time Star Wars nerd I loved seeing the pilots getting into their TIE fighters. I think about how the opening crawl in the first movie called it the "Galactic Civil War" instead of a rebelliom but it is aptly named. It is a civil war between people in the galaxy who've chosen to join the Empire and those who don't. It's one big "Stanford Experiment"!

So I get the formula now. Three episode arcs with part 1 and 2 setting up big payoff in part 3. Some people will probably still complain about it being too slow but I love it. Rogue One is my favorite Disney Star Wars movie but it needed more scenes we had here where we got to know the characters and see them interact before the big mission. Not that she shouldn't be worried for herself but Mon Mothma having a daughter makes her fear more understandable.
