  1. Kamala is so adorable.
  2. Phoebe Waller-Bridge has this "Mary Astor in The Maltese Falcon" thing going on and I like it.
  3. Seeing some of the hate from some fans online for this episode and I don't share the criticisms I guess because 1) I recognize Star Wars has always been inherantly goofy and it's just better to accept it and 2) I've watched enough old TV where shows had 22 episodes a season and it was mostly "filler" and those were more fun than the ones that drove the overall plot and 3) the only previous options to the question of who gets the Darksabre than Bo killing Din(not likely) or Din killing Bo and becoming leader of the Mandalorians(not preferable).
  4. BDH just served me a big slab of pure, uncut Star Wars to last me a year!
  5. Dammit, should have known with the more focus on him this season, Tech was doomed. RIP. Also should have realized if a new character has a New Zealand accent, it's a good chance they're a clone of Jango Fett! More and more it's clear the wrong Garrera sibling died.
  6. Holy crap live action Zeb looked amazing! The CGI was so good. Loved Tim Meadows playing a New Republic bureaucrat.
  7. A person I follow on Twitter said he tried to introduce his young son to the show and he decided to start with this episode. The ending emotionally wrecked him so much that the kid refused to watch the any more Twilight Zone! That was a couple of years ago and I got an update that the now teenage still hasn't watched the rest of the series.
  8. If you haven't already please check out His Kind of Woman a 1951 film noir starring Robert Mitchum and Jane Russell with Raymond Burr as the bad guy. Vincent Price plays a hammy movie star. I don't want to reveal more but the third act of the movie has to be seen. He's great.
  9. The miniseries cast a lot of beloved TV actors like Reed, Lorne Greene, Ed Asner, Chuck Connors, Sandy Duncan and the actor who played Pa Walton as the slave owners and traders. I think this was to keep white viewers from being able to disassociate from them. Also lesser known actors would have been typecast after and their careers suffer. I do like that Mike and Carol respectfully refer to Mr. Hanalai, the man who told the boys about the Tabu legend as an "old gentleman".
  10. When you first see Robert Reed in another role and he has the thin mustache and speaking a certain way you're amused thinking he's doing a Clifton Webb impression for the part. Then after a while seeing other roles where he does the same thing you realize "Oh this is how he actually is!" He had to act to play Mike Brady!
  11. I love the first season they did a live studio audience and there are a lot of funny moments in the next few seasons. What actually bugged me later was when they had more serious and maudlin stories and scenes where they start playing the slow version of the theme!
  12. Most underrated part of the show: Tom Bosley's reaction shots.
  13. I liked it. I liked seeing Coruscant post-Empire and the New Republic attempts at rehabilitating ex- Imperials. The main reason I watch the show is it's a look at the Star Wars galaxy in the years right after the Rebels won.
  14. Binging season 4 and now at an episode where a Cabot Cove deputy is nailing a different older townswoman each day of the week. Wow.
  15. Rhaneyra's "Thank you father" definitely pushed Alicent over the edge. All that resentment building up for a decade and she finally snapped. People unhappy with the characters being played by new actresses means they're doing a good job. On long running shows viewers usually get tired of characters played by the same actor by the 10th season!
  16. I love the novelization of Revenge of the Sith so much.
  17. What I realized is this is why the Mandalorians lost against the Empire. Their creed won't let them run away even against hopeless odds. They have to fight.
  18. I'm glad the time jump and change in actresses confirmed my opinion Rhaenyra is Princess Anne.
  19. As great as it was seeing a serious depiction of the horrors of fascism and the psychological toll in resisting it, sometimes it's just nice to see armored people in jetpacks fighting a giant crocodile.
  20. I mean there was a TV show in the 90s! Now re-edited into 22 movies, most I quite liked.
