Marvel comic characters are posting, Maddie yeeted, Tess is off to yell at and rat out other people now, Savvy and her hair took a powder. Damn. You could tell me Thunderstruck is being replaced by Vivian’s spoken word poetry and I’d believe it. 😂

Still plowing through the first season. Tia’s used a catch pole, sent dogs with new owners without home checks, Mariah is tattoo free, twins have very little hair. The biggest shock is her voiceovers, it’s like listening to a different person. Calm, almost detached. Mando and Jake are babies!! 😂

Discovery Plus streaming has all the episodes. I started yesterday with season 1, episode 1. Talk about flashbacks! Show returns next Saturday, but it’s on Discovery, not Animal Planet.

I didn’t expect Matt to stay with whoever he picked, he’s not ready for settling down. But most of the Bachelors don’t get married. Aren’t we at 3 marriages after all these years? I don’t think Matt expected the problematic photos and likes to just keep coming. Her mother hasn’t helped matters much either. With it all combined, he was done. It’s not his job to educate her to not be racially insensitive. I thought Emmanuel did a good job when he wasn’t reading off cue cards. But that “embrace” comment was just a hard pass. I wish this franchise would do a better job vetting the contestants. It’s less about the relationships and more about the reality. And that’s not what it used to be.

Fortunately the “black football player” is a published author, a tv host, well educated, and a fabulous choice. He works for ABC. I don’t think it’s a knee jerk reaction to bring on someone who is well versed in racial issues when a front runner for the first black bachelor likes racist posts and goes to old south parties. Sorry if that upsets fans of the current white host who swore 5 million people went to those old south plantations parties and believes it’s okay to shout down an interviewer while rambling about the “woke police” and giving a 24 year old “grace”.

I’m still not sure why Rachel Lindsay is getting dragged for conducting an interview. Or why people think she’s enjoying getting bitched at by racists? She didn’t lie about the number of people dressing up as plantation barbies. Or think 2018 was 5 years ago. Harrison’s inability to keep his foot out of his mouth is not her fault. But I’m still salty they cast Lee the racist on her season. And made her watch the finale live. She didn’t crack under pressure and got her happy ending and a career. Sad people can’t be happy for her. Someone mentioned no Jewish bachelors. Jason Mesnick is. And was told not to do the traditional breaking glass at his wedding.

Season one was awesome. Season two was Chris. The judges keeping him there week after week despite him ignoring parameters had me not appreciating the show as much. Probably because people who did care were booted in favor of his crappy pieces. Elliot was awesome, but it seemed one note. Cat was awesome, but it wasn’t enough. Peeked at both websites and she’s doing good, so that’s encouraging. Wandered onto the Corning Museum website and Deborah is doing sunny side up vases. K.

Would have given this one to Cat. And would have booted Dani, wasn’t a fan of the generic megaphones. Chris continues to skate by. Ugh.

Glass pencils. For a cartoon challenge. And that obnoxious asshat didn’t get booted?!? Does he have photos of the judges with farm animals? I don’t freaking get why Chris is still there. I loved the first season, but this one? I’m hate watching.

I feel like they judged on reputation rather than finished piece. The bear was wretched, but Chris produced something that wasn’t innovative and had an ill fitting lid. He needs to stop bragging about who he taught and realize they’ve all passed him by.

Just found and binged this cool show in 1 day. I was thrilled Deborah won. Felt although Janusz was technically gifted, he’d faded over the final 3 episodes. Bubbles? A random dark hand? There was no cohesion in his final piece. Not saying breakfast was a great finale piece, but I can understand the win. I was most bitter about Momoku getting cut, the female judge wasn’t a fan at all, but she wasn’t the worst in pop art week.

I wish Hirsch would have stopped introducing new characters. Would have forwarded through the dead Erik plot line. We didn’t get a logical explanation about how Floki got out of the erupting Iceland volcano of doom, but yep, living in a tree hut makes sense. For him at least. If you had told me years ago that I would end up liking Ivar, I would have laughed. Poor Harold always had the worst luck. Good to see Halfdan at his end. Wonder if Hvitserk stayed Christian or was soon drinking holy wine and looking to score drugs? And how did everyone get to monologue on the battlefield? I’ve always hated battlefield monologues. I will miss this strange little show. Wasn’t as good post Ragnar, but was nice to say farewell to some beloved characters. Not you Kattegat Queen.

I follow them on Facebook and donate monthly. I remember when this broke online about the wolf dogs. So overwhelming and cleanup is still ongoing. Watching it play out was worse somehow, even though I knew Athena survived. My pets have been my besties during bubbling, and watching Pete tear up about being alone got to me. My dogs are older, one is 14 now and I treasure him knowing there might not be a year left. Losing him during the pandemic, well, lets just say I geared up a lot during this episode.

Well, damn. There goes Bjorn. Poor guy got stabbed and then used for target practice. I appreciated his not having a giant deathbed scene. No clue why he has a tomb and not a longboat bbq. And that random fresco on the ceiling. Just bizarre. I forgot he had a second wife. Poor Gunnhild can’t catch a break. I really need Harald Finehair to die soon. Dude is way past his 9 lives by now.

Well, that was a shit show. Poor pom technique my ass. Brennan really is a boss. She kept her cool, she put them on blast, and she did it professionally. And Kelli, your “direction” is a laughing stock. You’re more about ratings and “gotcha” moments and covering your coaches pets than fielding a decent team that’s not breaking quarantine, chasing players, and backstabbing. Nice choices.

That episode seemed like filler to me. Or re-edited afterwards to make them look better? Wish they had explained that Caroline was in the dance off as their gold standard, it was edited to look like she just wandered in and joined. Kat really has a low bar. “Didn’t suck like last year’s media day.” 🤣 Brennan’s media day outfit was amazing. Lisa looked like a waitress. There were a lot of high slits.

Guys, I liked Cianna last year, but she got booted off show group, and looks to be struggling keeping the unrealistic DCC shape. I want her to hula off into the sunset before she becomes their next hatchet job. Kelli can go in the van with the Ozark 4 and they can all infect each other. But tying her to the roof like a Griswald granny has some appeal too. 😂

Retirement wish list: I will pack their bags and arrange a van: Maddie, Tess, Lexie, Alora, Taylor, Sydney, Kat. Kelli, you can hop in the van too. Please go out with dignity, your future is not here: Kristen, Brianna FTLOG, go: Savannah, Cianna, Judy and her stool.

I watched 4 episodes last night. Started with one to try it out and next thing I knew it was 2 am. 🤣 Was texting a coworker for hours about it, she’s on episode 3. I loved Polly Walker in Rome, so any chance to see her on my screen is awesome. Love the colorful clothes, even if the family resembles a flock of fluorescent parrots at times. Little Penelope is my favorite. Sweet, smart, and stuck in yellow, she steals every scene for me. I want to bop Colin on the head for ignoring her, but his hair would protect him. I hate Eloise. The hair, the hats, the clothes, the EYEBROWS, the voice of an 80 year old man. There’s no way she’s 15, I think she was replaced as an infant with a troll. I totally get the character, but the actress, hard pass. Daphne and her tragic bangs annoy me. Was hoping she’d get shot in that duel scene. Generic Kiera Knightly. Simon, love. Lady Danbury, LOVE. She’s amazing. Badass character and actress. The necklace getting left behind was annoying too. Guess Daph needs pockets in those ethereal frocks.
