The thing that set apart Kael from other critics for me is her positive reviews were as entertaining to read as her negative ones. Usually a review is only fun when the critic absolutely hated it and is ripping it apart! When they actually like something it's kind of boring.

S46.E09: Kristen Wiig / Dua Lipa

So I know some of you with Wigg-aversion are going to skip this one. I'm watching mostly for Dua Lipa, because even my old, uncool ass has heard and liked that "Don't Start Now" song: Plus, now that she stopped dying her hair blonde, she reminds me of Justine Bateman. Makes me wish she was the musical guest when Jason hosted two weeks ago! -
That Hans Zimmer score in the opening scene was epic.

I'm on Tom's side on this one. Vigilance is so important now.

I hope when Obi-Wan fights Vader 10 years after ROTS and 10 years before ANH they start out dueling really fast like on Mustafar and after a minute they stop, gasping out of breath and slow down their moves!

She was great in that! She played Robert Culp's wife. It was a reunion for the I SPY co-stars Culp and Cosby. Culp played Cliff Huxtable's old Navy buddy "Scott Kelly"(the name taken from their old characters). We find out Scott had a near fatal heart attack a while ago. Reinkan had a very good scene with Claire where she talked about how she wasn't prepared to deal with the finances and legal matters in case he died. -

The Spy Who Came in From the Cold is one of the great spy stories. As much as I love the escapist fantasy of James Bond, I also am enthralled by the darker, cynical, more realistic world of espionage depicted by Le Carre. -

Holy crap I love the idea of Landon and Bixby being bitter rivals like Bette David and Joan Crawford! -
My mistake. Rogue Squadron has recognition because of the video games and a fighter pilot movie which even people who aren't Star Wars fans would recognize. It's very safe but I don't blame them after the fan reactions to the last few movies.

I love the two times Larroquette hosted SNL. Here's the monologue from his 2nd time hosting. It's one of my favorite monologues from a host.

I posted before that I thought the future of Star Wars was best in television and I'm glad it's all shows and not movies announced.

The Empire was hunting down all surviving Jedi and the Rebellion was created in secret. Yoda would've been a liability.

The Kelly Clarkson Show - General Discussion

Kelly covered "Cain" by Exes a few weeks ago and it's one of her best Kellyokes IMO. The original artist was on Tiktok and she definitely was honored by it: -
Marnie marked a decline. The most disturbing thing about the movie to me was Sean Connery's plucked eyebrows.
