  1. Channel surfing I stumbled upon the Sunday afternoon block of "Quantum Leap."...I just NEVER got that show.....and id didn't help that I think Scott Bakula is sooo overrated. But I know the show has fans who love it. So it's airing now. (Not sure which channel though)
  2. ^^That might be them...I never saw about half or the season. About half way through I couldn't take it anymore. Their series of shows and project was just all over the place, their decisions so stupid, I lost interest. I thought the couple I was thinking of was in Colorado....but maybe not. Because I really don't recall. I never saw the finished house. But your update.....wow....just confirms what I thought or recall from the episodes all those years ago. THE WHOLE THING -- them as a couple and the project (design and construction, and building site) were BEYOND a mess. I think their house was one of -- if not THE last one in the run of the series. And I'm OK with construction hiccups, and design changes, but their project was ridiculous. MAYBE that's why I lost interest...I was just done. Too much "drama?" Would you even call what that was drama....it was just unorganized and chaotic...not in a frenzied way. They just had no idea what they were doing. It was ridiculous. OH!! that brings to mind another show.....about homeowners doing their own repairs...NOT, NOT "Weekend warrior" and it wasn't "Rescue my Renovation" Oh, it was "Renovation Realities." THAT was it! This was couples doing their own bathrooms, or bedrooms or whatever....who had NO idea starting out how to do it. AND, or course they only had a week or less to do it in. ANd of course they argued al the time. I distinctly remember wondering WHY couldn't HGTV have stuck with "Weekend Warriors" -- where home owners did projects.....some people knew more than others about how to do it. But none of them were out right STUPID about how to do it. None were out right UNPREPARED. There was a young couple on "Renovation Realities" who redid their kitchen. I remember it because it had to be done so inexpensively. They made the counters and everything, Painted the cabs. etc. They were fine. But by that time I think HGTV was clearly headed toward...IGNORANCE when it comes to remodeling....and aiming for "drama' so as for that series I'd say most of the people were not prepared for their project. I think there was another female couple (or friends) who redid a kitchen as well. I distinctly remember the married couple who argued all the time...and of course there had to be a scene where they cut a pipe and water spews and flood a floor...and she tries to help him tile and has no idea what she's doing, and makes it worse. So he says jus leave it and let me do it. "Renovation Realities" and "Weekend Warriors" ...talk about blasts from the past. Great, now I'll just think of all the other shows I named in posts before Matt and Shari, Joan Steffend, Cindy Piccoli, Chris Casson Madden, Kitty Bartholomew, Michael Payne.....and on other networks Lynette Jennings, Christopher Lowell.... As a single female, let me also say I was always HIGHLY insulted when wives were afraid of power tools. And went into their "Oh poor me, I don't no nuthin' 'bout power tools." it was sickening. They acted like never seen a HAMMER for goodness sake. They could n't do ANYTHING. They were useless. It was sooo insulting.
  3. 1) This show does NOT need to be an hour...because as someone said they'd just fill the time with MORE fake drama, when the show already has too much of that. 2) HGTV and the producers don't care what we want. 3) I'm SICK of the fake way they find the house (or the re-creation of how they find the house...the fake phone calls, the fake bids, the fake unexpected complications. This isn't in the budget, that isn't in the budget. They have a day to decide if they want the house.....yet they can get three contractor bids in that time? WHY don't producers get that they DO NOT have to make up this fake crap for viewers to like and watch the show?!! 4) I just don't think there are THAT many flip opportunities out there, where you can invest that much into a house and sell at a 50 profit 45 days later. I live in the DC area....and the only people who are giving properties away at such a low price that you could do that.....are agents selling houses for kids who've inherited a house their elderly parents didn't update for 50 years. Even in a foreclosure is the spread that much and you can pay a contractor and make a profit a month later? In my established neighborhood anyway, only if a person did the work themselves would they make a profit...or unless you got a VERY VERY discounted contractor's bid. There's just not that much spread. If you buy a house 50K less than market, and it needs 80 worth of work....uh that math doesn't work. My kitchen remodel was 25K alone, hardwood floors 8K, carpeting 5K, whole house paint job, 7K . Plus Tarek and Christina pay for staging so add that in. I just have a lot of questions about any flipping show.
  4. Yep – I remember that show fondly…..The show was called “DREAM HOUSE” I found this description online: http://www.diynetwork.com/shows/dream-house Building their house is a dream, but finishing it might be a nightmare. Over a season, Dream House follows families as they crack through rocky terrain, battle the elements, build on extreme angles, contend with opinionated contractors and watch as their money is stretched to the max — to ultimately build their dream house. I loved this this show….several of the projects stand out to me: -- A single guy completely renovating an old stone house, doing a lot of the work himself, has battles with a historic commission, he’s single throughout the entire season – then on the last show we find out he got married to some friend he had, and they had a baby. It was very much a ‘where did SHE come from?” kind of thing. -- A couple – I think second marriage for both, no kids (or young kids anyway) – having a house built with an eye-brow window. I distinctly remember because that’s when I learned what that kind of window was called. -- An older single guy in coastal Scituate, Massachusetts. I remember because 1) he had an old friend act as his decorator….2) he wanted it finished in time to host his daughter’s backyard wedding -- Another couple with like 5 kids, who had ALL kinds of budget issues. You could tell when they were just getting started they could not afford the house. I think I read that they lost the house as it was being finished or not long after. -- There was a couple in Potomac Maryland also I remember. I live in MD so that one stuck out as well. I remember they both had professional jobs, he worked a lot, while also trying to manage the project. I think they had two kids. I just remember the wife seems to be VERY particular. They ran into some design issues because of scheduling with contractors, and some of the changes they wanted made. -- And one of the last seasons was a young-ish couple who built a house literally on the side of a mountain. The husbands family had the land, and he also had some construction background. I thinks the wife had a baby toward the end of the season. I remember on scene of a back how getting stuck in the mud after it had rained…that’s how steep the terrain was.
  5. For YEARS, I and other longtime HGTV viewers have suggested a programming block for overnight -- say from 1a-4a sign off -- of the old HGTV shows. Heaven knows there are enough shows, and episodes for them to do that.....call them HGTV Classics, or call it "VINTAGE" something or other since that's such a hot word in decorating now....what ever who cares what they call it...just DO IT, HGTV. Some of us on a previous website would get such a chuckle out of new viewers discovering HGTV, and thinking the programming was so great. And the longtime viewers would say, "You don't know how good HGTV USED to be." There were and are shows that newbies don't even know about. Someone would ask, "why can't HGTV have -- this kind of show -- a show about small spaces, or inexpensive decorating of how to do little repairs yourself. ANd we longtime viewers would say -- it DID have those shows several of them in fact, but once HGTV went "all house hunters all the time" about 10 years ago...and all "real estate" instead of "home and GARDENING" that was end of that other kind of programming. There's no reason in the world HGTV can't air some of these old shows. Even if it doesn't have the rights to them now. GET the rights, work out a deal. You can't tell me HGTV can't find a way to air these shows. Here's just a PARTIAL list of old HGTV shows that I bet people would LOVE...some people would think they're great just because they've never seen them before. -- The Carol Duvall Show -- CIndy Piccolli on Decorating with Style -- Kitty Bartholomew -- Chris Casson Maddon -- Joan Sterfend on Decorating Cents -- Matt and Shari Hiller on Room by Room -- Michael Payne - Designing for the Sexes -- Before and After - a whole house remodel show Pat Simpson -- Fix It Up w/- Pat Simpson and Jodi Marks -- Help Around the House w./ Henry Harrison -- Weekend Warriors w/ Chris McWatt -- Gardener's Journal -- City Gardener -- Gardening By the Yard w/ Paul james -- Landscape Smart w/ Ken Bastida -- Outer Spaces -- and Surprise Gardener w/ Suzie Coelho -- Room to Go w/ Peter Fallico -- This Small Space w/ Susan Crenshaw -- Homes Across America w/ Joe Ruggiero -- Fantasy Open House -- Dream House (followed one family or owners whole house makeover all season long) -- There was also show that was a "Hints with Heloise" type show Heck those show go back to BEFORE these shows which HGTV ALSO dropped: Save My Bath, Spice Up My Kitchen, Awesome Interiors with Jennifer Convy, Room for Change w/ Joanne Liebler, Designers Challenge, Landscapers Challenge, Curb Appeal, Design on a Dime, Designed to Sell, Sensible Chic, Double Take, 24 Hour Design and Rate My Space both w/ Angelo Surmelis, Kenneth Brown, ANY of Sarah Richardson shows (Sarah,s House, Sarah 101, and others), Debbie Travis, House Hunters, Small Space, Big Style, Holmes on Homes, Holmes Inspection, Divine Design, Candice Tells All And WELL before: Design Star, Genevieve Gorter, Color Splash w/ David Bromstad, The Antonio Project w/ Antonio Ballatore, Bang for Your Buck, Curb Appeal the Block, Flea Market Flip, Love it or List It, Property Virgins, The Property Shop, Income Property, and the G-d awful Myles of Style w/ Kim Myles, Yard Crashers, House Crashers, Bath Crashers, Kitchen Cousins. Cousins on Call, Flip or Flop, Brother vs Brother, Handyman Challenge. Fixer Upper and Flip or Flop people weren't even heard of then. Heck the Flip or Flop couple was probably still in high school when some of these shows were on. I actually think very fondly of the early days of HGTV...and when I stumbled upon Room by Room....I was HOOKED. For more than a decade I was addicted to HGTV....now I barely watch. BUT the execs say viewers like what they see now....that's PART of the reason HGTV goes so OVERBOARD with it's new "stars." -- Designed to Sell was hot...so they ran that show practically every night -- and the put Clive in another show (design star host), and Lisa was on a design challenge show -- House Hunters was a hit, so they rand it ad nausem -- The Holmes Inspection guy was popular so they aired his other show -- The Cousins on Call guys were a hit so they gave them more shows -- For a while now the Property Brothers and Scoot McGilivray have been hot, so now THEY are on other shows or have more shows of their own. HGTV always takes what's popular in SMALL doses, and over runs it so much you get SICK OF IT. I KNOW other viewers feel the same way. But we learned a long time ago HGTV programmers don't care. Although I DID see an article about 3 years back that ratings were down. BUT they're probably up again, because people love all the cute hosts, Scott, the Property Brothers, etc. I bet Michael Payne and Kitty Bartholomew, and Cris Casson Madden, Cindy Picoli, Mat Foox and Shari Hillier couldn't get a show on air today if they tried. Matt and Shari DID come up with a second show format and HGTV didn't want it. Whatever like I said I barely watch anymore. It's a shame because I turned so many other people on to HGTV I talked about it all the time. C'est la vie. I'll take my eyeballs elsewhere and give OTHER advertisers my time.
  6. Soooo WHY can't Bravo show the footage of the fight.... Did Geneva's lawyer get an injunction or something? Bravo has shown other video it's had of fights when charges were filed. On Real Housewives of Atlanta, it showed Porsha's assault on Kenya. So the excuse of it being evidence in a case doesn't fly. I want to see it. So did Geneva go to the wedding or not? I. also am, puzzled by Arzo getting an invite. Arzo wasn't even on the show the first season. Not that Demetria couldn't know her from other things. But All season I've never gotten the impression that they knew each other, or were certainly no tighter than the other women in the group. I loved Demetria's dress.
  7. I've never though chihuahuas were the cutest dogs in the world. But I have seen a few cute ones. But I thought both here dogs were on the ugly side.
  8. No. I'm not THAT clueless:):):) I think it was Farmhouse Rules with Nancy Fuller. I've looked her up since then...but when I stumbled onto the show I was like...."Who the hell is THAT?...never heard of her. Boy am I out of the loop." There were three shows in a row that I'd never even heard of...I had no clue.
  9. Not to disagree but....... BBQ joints ARE NOT pretty common in MOST of the country. Northeast and Mid-Atlantic where I'm from...we'd KILL for a place like Schuler's. And those are two MAJOR populated areas of the country. Went to Arizona and California (Phoenix and LA)....NO good BBQ place close by, that I knew of anyway. Also, In my region "Five Guys" was a started here, and we have a place called Elevation Burger, multiple locations. I'm not saying that in that area of Staten Island, and the NY area......there's not room to grow that burger place.....But what I saw in that episode ...menu change OR NOT....didn't make me what to try out the food, at all. I've NEVER understood why a restaurant would go on TV (Kitchen Nightmares, Restaurant Impossible, whatever) and air their dirty secrets....a food place is one place, where if I see you don't know what you're doing...I'm out. Wouldn't eat there. Period. I'm still amazed Marcus thought that small Greek chain in the Pittsburgh are was some great shakes. Although I could see how with tweaking -- it was already so successful in that area that it was an OK investment. The food looked like it sucked. BUT if that's all you know Greek food to be and it's the only game in town then, you don't know. 2) at least "elevation" makes one think of 'higher' things. Standard Burger...who the hell wants just a 'standard' anything. Standard to me doesn't imply GREAT burger. ^^ Yeah. That, too. (bold emphasis mine) 3) For me also, this is the second episode in a row that was a dud. Not enough business sense, numbers, strategy...it was just blah. MUCH as I was amazed by the Planet Popcorn, Marse Florists, and Dogworks episodes and owners...PLEASE, more of THOSE kinds of episodes...than these last two. Actually the PERFECT mix was the Mr. Green Tea episode. Sena Profit was good, also the pilot episdoe with the Car Cash brothers and the Athans motors.....even the bat company this season. But these last two. MAYBE producers know they're the weakest episodes, sandwich them in between OTHER episodes is the smart thing to do as far as that goes. 4) Ditto, shibori. Space heater or not. Outside seating in NY November through March ....give me a break. I work in DC which has much more temperate WX than NY, and no one's eating outside in February, even with a space heater.
  10. Maybe it's me and i'm not a cupcake person....COOKIES YES!, brownies second...cupcakes, not so much...ANYway... I don't get Marcus's interest in this Tonnie's Minis....EXCEPT, and maybe that's a good enough reason for him, he just wants something to ride for a few hot years. I just dont' see cupcakes as "all that"...a full-fledged bakery with OTHER items. sure. But many Americans just arent' into sweets as they once were. (Or maybe I'm projecting) Build your own cupcake does nothing for me.
  11. But SHE (Kristen) is the one who STARTED that scene by DEFERRING to Carole...talking about as a writer Kristen thought I'd be great to have Carole's input. So Carole ran with it. Then Kristen, with her DUMB ass, didn't know how to get the meeting back on track. I'm sooo tired of see these woman want to launch businesses and have NO business sense. I prefer my women :):)....to be no nonsense in a business environment...especially if THEY are supposed to be running the show. Look at the way Beth, Ramona, and Heather...handle their business. They know their stuff and what they want...and are willing to listen to. But can articulately let you know ....that's not what I'm about. Then you have Sonja and now Kristen....who WANT to do something in business, but need handlers. If you need a handler just ride the gravy train to the bank. Stop TRYING be the engineer ifI hear Sonja say luxury lifestyle brand one more time....And Kristen is just like Sonja. They just need sooo much help. (LuAnn is somewhere in between. She likely let others guide her Home Shopping line, use her name, weigh in on something she ABSOLUTELY couldn't support. But other than that, just be the name and face of the brand.....and sell. But LuAnn I have no doubt could run a business meeting and let you know, "we're moving on now.") RE: Josh's 50's /60s style...I love it! Think he's cute.
  12. I'm more out of the loop on Food Network than I though I was.... It has a show that's been on for more than a year....that I never heard of...."The Kitchen"...I think it's called...a sort of food prep/recipe/demonstration with Geoffrey, the girl with the last name Lee, Sunny somebody, I can't remember her last name. And another guy, who won one of the season's of Food network Star. I happened to stumble upon it one morning...it was BORING as hell. ANd it's been on for more than a year. I also stumbled upon yet ANOTHER southern cooking show....with a very blond, southern accented Food Network winner. And I saw another show with an older (in her late 40's maybe), average-sized woman...she's a caterer, home chef or book author, I think. I don't knwo WHO she was. Never heard of her. Never seen her before.
  13. e: reunion set. Shahs get that set and all that pomp and circumstance before hand...even the Atlanta reunion we saw them getting dolled up....and the Southern Charm reunion got SQUAT: the WWHL studio in New York, and some folding chairs. Geez. AND only a one part reunion. Really Andy.
  14. About going to Mike's hotel room, she's going to say...what she always does...he's like a brother to me I never would have imagined he'd make a move like that. You tell me I can't go into his room. He's like a brother to me....yada, yada, yada." Mike doing ANYTHING even shopping with GG's sis on the night before his wedding -- even two nights before -- IS a bit unusual. Most guys are hanging with their males friends, no? Unless Mike and GG's sis...go back really like family -- like Reza and MJ say THEY are......it IS unusual that Mike would be shpping with GG's sis. EVEN if he wanted a woman' friend's opinion on his suit or whatever he was getting....that it would JUST. happen. to. be GG's sis. is a heck of a coincidence. I'll say that about it. I love Reza. But I couldn't hang with him. I'm not into absolute debauchery. Is THAT really what bachelor party's are about? I've NEVER under stood that. Sure, last night before wedding. Sure, hang with the guys. Sure, have fun. But what we saw was beyond the pale...for me. Re: reunion set. Shahs get that set and all that pomp and circumstance before hand...even the Atlanta reunion we saw them getting dolled up....and the Southern Charm reunion got SQUAT: the WWHL studio in New York, and some folding chairs. Geez. Really Andy.
  15. I thought Kristen was beating around the bush, and took to long to get to the point of why she wanted to talk with Bethenney. Just ask her -- DID you say this? "If so, I want YOU to know this is NOT the case....so please don't comment on things you know nothing about." I was going to say Beth is a bitch -- but scratch that ...I'll say she's DIRECT. I personally would be direct with her. Kristen should have backed the bitch up from the start. Instead, she acted like she didn't know WHAT she wanted to say. She had all that time to think about it ...and THAT is what she starts talking about? I might have walked away, too. Kirsten was just fumbling....She was in the right, but bye girl. Call me when can hang with the big girls. Hi, there...I do that. I call my friends (Jacquelines) Jack, my co-worker (Jennifer) Jen (or Jenny-Jenny). It's not an official nick name. I just started calling them that for short. And they've never objected.
  16. Why the hell to TODD need an assistant? Can't these people do anything for themselves. Different show, I know, but between Patricia on Southern Charm and -- some of the other housewives, even, I'm sick of people who lift a finger for themselves. People all over the country raise kids, juggle jobs and appointments....without personal assistants.
  17. Anyone notice that at one point Reza said he did let the GG thing go, and accept thatMike apologized....but then he changed the reasoning for Mike being estranged to..."Mike doesn't make an effort." WTF? MJ is full is shit. Asa called her on her comment about Asa lying about her age. Whenever MJ gets called on her shit....she says she's joking,, and it's the other person who doesn't get her joke. She really needs to grow up. But so do most of them. Bravo: Spin off Asa and her parents.....we could have down to earth-yet-pseudo-spiritual Asa....and her down to earth, sort-of-normal parents. I like Asa because she calls people on their shit....and seems so aware that people are arguing over BS. I dont' know if I want to say she's "grounded" -- but she sure comes off as more "mature." I think her priestess nature really just doesn't like the negative energy of the group right now. She wants them all to be friends, without the arguing, name-caling and accusations. Who WOULD WANT to be around that? I'm starting to feel sorry for Mike and Jessica...THAT"S how much I'm NOT liking most of the rest of them.
  18. GG said to Mike, "your fiancee started this shit," and that she (GG) was going o finish it (or something like that) I know Jessica is no saint, but what did she do to GG to warrant such vitriol. Or is GG's outburst just more evidence that she's a little nuts. What did Jessica do to "start" anything, any tiff, with GG?
  19. Good grief why all the hate on John. I would say people should "get off his jock" -- but no doubt some would use that and say "he's the one who wants people ON his jock" or make some comment about him supposedly being touchy-feely. I think he's good natured. And even if he IS flirty, it's never even remotely been over the top. Even if he was flirty -- you mean to tell me these woman don't know how to handle that, roll it off with a joke and keep moving on. Give me a break. My dad was a big HARMLESS flirt...was my mom REALLY supposed to be upset because he called the grocery store cashier sweetie. I LOVE it when people call me cutie -- hell it makes my day! Give me a break. True these women are Dorinda's co workers or friends...But I still don't think John deserves the knocks he gets. Even IF he WOULD sleep with one of them. I dont' think THEY would...so again....move on, nothing to see here. Dorinda loves, and KNOWS him...so "be cool. Don't be, uncool." Thanks. Supports my opinion that K can go.
  20. No hate on Kristen -- but I have to agree...she adds nothing and does nothing. At least heather is "friends" with Carole, and trying to engage with Bethenney. Does Kristen ever initiate a conversation? Is she ever asked to lunch? Even if/when she does. What's the outcome of point of said scene? Even when she and Ramona where talking about R and Lu's dustup at Petrossian...did K ask "so what happened at dinner the other night" or was it R who said "let me ask you about something, you weren't there.....and R explained it? I THINK it was K that initiated that..don't remember, but .if so it's one of THE only times she's central or even really INVOLVED in anything pertinent. I don't know WHY she was kept on the show....Think about it. She could miss every event -- lunch, dinner, workout, spa, whatever -- and who would care? Most telling is -- it wouldn't make a difference or effect the event at all. IF that's the case that's the evidence she brings nothing to the show and isn't needed. They should have cut KRISTEN -- not Aviva. I liked Aviva. I know certain viewers had it in for her. But at least she evoked SOME reaction out of people. K who care? EVen if this is a one season stop for Bethenney, before she gets another show...I'd still drop K. Hell bring back JILL Z! But Andy doesn't have the ball to do that.
  21. 1) I'm team Heather -- BUT re the fish allergy -- Bethenney said to Dorinda more than once -- and the first time she said it before heather even jumped in -- don't worry about it I'll see what they have I'll be fine." WHY didn't heather feel the need to sayANYTHING. It seems as if LuAnn might have said to heather "What's she say" ((becasue she missed what Bethenney was talking about. So then Heather explained to LuAnn "she doens't eat fish" -- THAT should have been the end of it. But in this particular case Heather wouldn't let it go. She really doesn't insert herself into other people's business. THAT is what gets her into trouble. IF she minded her business just a little more she wouldn't have to explain herself so much. 2) Uh yeah, Heather comparing losing a nanny of nine years is NOT the same as a tragic child hood or losing a husband. I would hope even she would concede that's not the best analogy. 3) There was a brief exchange between -- Dorinda and Carole -- the two widows -- where they connected. After Ramonda said there's all kinds of tragedy, etc., bad childhoods, divorce losing husbands, losing a child, etc....Dorinda said it's not the same....and Carole agreed, saying "no, it's not." They didn't dwell on it. But it was a real moment. Sure do I loved that show. Was disappointed when it was canceled. Seemed it could have gone on at least one more season. I never did get the REAL scoop on why it was canceled,
  22. I've thought this for a while not and just had to say it now....LuAnn is gorgeous. Good Lord I wash I had that body. Her outfit at dinner was the bomb....the make up was perfect....a little too heavy but otherwise perfection. Given that we don't see EVERYthing I hadn't even expected that the first dress Dorinda pulled out would be the one Sonja would wear. It's just the only one we saw them look at. But I just presumed, Dorinda also said, "Let's go see, I've got plenty, let's see what you like....."
  23. I saw that. And thought that too. Then thought. wait a minute....she has to know who Elizabeth Taylor was, right? Please don't tell me she does NOT know who ET was. So maybe she knows who ET was, but not RB.....THAT I could see. But even with ET, I could see Kathryn just saying "she was some actress right?" So she could know who ET was, and without knowing the RB part -- she wouldn't get the relationship comparison to them. And yes when I said I wondered about voters not knowing about T-Rav's shenanigans I meant the Kathryn/Southern Charm part. I don't doubt they all know about cocaine. THAT part is common knowledge, I'd think.
  24. I have always wondered why Thomas didn't run for the Ravenel seat in Congress. Perhaps because of his prison time was he not able to run yet? Was his run TOTALLY faked for the show (that's my suspicion, also). Instead of running for his FATHER's House seat....,he runs against SENATOR LINDSAY GRAHAM in a primary? What? That whole run had to be fake...or should I say insincere, at best. (way to get a plot for the show, and spend the least amount of money) Thomas showed such misjudgment on the reunion, I can't even imagine being that stupid. I LOVED it when Kathryn said Thomas said, "You can have a baby out of wedlock, but people just don't want to see it on their front porches." That's soooo right for SC voters. It's so true, I absolutely believe he said it. To me it's a clear example of Thomas' dual nature: -- NO judgement in his personal life.....but perhaps a good policy wonk. Although he's NOT a good public speaker at all. ALL of his "political speeches" sucked. And I've never seen a bad public speaker get elected yet. But if his 'campaign events were all for show and just an afterthought...I guess it didn't matter that he sucked. Supposedly, he was poling at 11% before the hairdresser assault issue. I'm shocked he was polling THAT high at all, ever. Could it be most voters in SC, or his district, DON'T KNOW about his -- uh -- personal behavior? Most voters aren't in his social circle, so how would they if they don't watch the show. I know he's a scion of SC with a famous name there...but most middle and lower income people who go to work every day aren't following him and his antics. When you think about it, if they don't what the show.....they may not know. As for how he looked, I had no problem with it. Like someone else who said they had a Thomas crush. I can definitely see falling for him. Aside from some of his personality traits:):) -- and major ones, at that, he's a great catch on paper. SO is Shep, BUT you have to know how to hook guys like that....and it's NOT by getting pregnant. Why? he and his young girlfriend are moving in together in Los Angeles. (Oh, please) Yes. Ditto. What's up with that?
  25. June first -- and Live Well Network still on FiOS, in the DC area. (Maryland suburbs) All shows are reruns, but it's still on.
