Mike is messed up, like a lost soul, who seems to drink too much (IMO)... he's still so immature yet. And immaturity AND being lost, and drinking don't mix well. He just doesn't seem like that great a catch. I'd guess we all know that people have more than one side to them, and a co-worker who's a bitch is said to be really nice away from work, yet we can't imagine that. So MAYBE Mike is like that...and what we see on TV isn't the REAL him, away from the cameras. Because other than that I don't get why Jessica is sooo set on HIM. I see nothing in Mike that would make HIM THE one, to the point of begging him to marry you. Really? Also even if he does get drunk. I don't like the way Jessica calls him stupid. I just don't like that demeaning conversation. Why can't she say honey "you're above this"..."you're better than this," "come on there's no point." But saying to his face "you're stupid" I just couldn't imagine saying that to someone I supposedly love. Mike and Jessica's love just doesn't seem like it's on a true "soul' level, that they truly bring out the best in each other. It seems very "surface." Two insecure people together in a relationship....not good. Love me some Reza. The early season jury is still out on MJ,,,she has so many issues. At least I cans see she's TRYING not to be (too much of) an ass. I think her dool humor isn't for everyone, but I don't think has cruel intent with it. Asa...I think she cares about her friends, but like Reza, has the potential to stir up trouble yet want to stay out of the fray they cause. GG (Golnessa) is trying to but CEARLY still has issues. And Asifa is just plain stupid. She said we don't live in the Middle East We live in America. It's hot here. I don't want to wear a burka, or clothes all over me. My G-d what do men see is STUPID women?!

Let me say I always admired Lily. And liked her a lot. 1) I liked that she wasn't into getting drunk and acting like a childish ass on TV. Can't this show be about something OTHER than that. 2) I think she did the best thing. given that she really does have a legitimate business that she cares about. Come on for one season, get some promotion for your business. Then leave (or get kicked off, whatever). That way you've been on the show, got some free exposure for the business, you haven't acted so crazy that you've damaged your business brand, you were already rich, will get even richer.....and don't care about -- because you know that you don't need to be on TV acting stupid to accomplish that. I think Lily would be GREAT FUN to hang out with. This past episode was an interesting one. As a season premiere it looks like we might be able to clearly see where the "plots" are going from here, especially with Mike and GG.

WHO is the person sitting next to Claudia? Demetria? Why is she even there. She hasn't been in the all season and now she shows up at the table? Who the hell is she. Why is she talking? AND....if Porsha was fired from the show why is she on it every damned episode?

What the HELL was that fake-ass, Peter Thomas entertainment awards crap? IMO, it was a 'created for TV" event...and apparently they couldn't even get enough extras to fill the tables. Geez.

I only get the chance to watch the show while at work and since I was off last Tuesday and will be this one coming up, won't get to see it for two weeks straight. After reading comments about this past week, I can see why I need to take breaks from this show. Example: DAVID is going to get Candace an interview at a law firm? WHY? What does she have on HIM (or Veronica for that matter), that would make him do that? David continues to disappoint. Honestly nothing about what's happening makes me want to come back at all....

I wonder if Reza ACTUALLY BOUGHT that watch. To be honest, it felt like a sneaky set up product placement. I certainly can't relate to their flashy (some might say gaudy) ways, so I just have to wonder how much I'd have to earn or be worth to event THINK about buying a 35-thousand-dollar watch. Are you crazy? Because if you're buying a 35K watch, AND MULTIPLES of everything else -- you're likely also buying -- three-thousand dollar suits, thousand-dollar shoes, 200-dollar shirts --.add a 150K car, high rent -- and living at that price point all the time you're quite a spender. I just don't think even 5 million dollars a year -- AFTER TAXES goes that far. Oh yeah I forgot the personal trainers, psycho-therapy, pet professionals, personal grooming, spas, entertaining, etc. I'd imagine that they all may try to get away with writing a lot of it off for a business expense on taxes, but still. EVEN TO RENT that lifestyle costs money. ONE of Reza's suits probably cost more than all my suits put together. I love the show and the lifestyle, I just wonder how it's paid for.

^^Perfectly stated, thank you. Are you listening ANDY? Please..... I've only been watching THIS HV for 2 1/2 seasons. I've likes Lisa VP, Yolanda, and the two new additions Lisa R. and Eileen. They all (until now Lisa R.) seem to just want to enjoy being on a nice little reality show. They're mature enough to enjoy the ride -- and chill. Lisa VP's talking heads are always very "really, darling?" Eileen and Yolanda seem to have no intention of acting stupid on the show. And I would have said the same about Lisa R, who does seem to be an "I'm game for anything" kind of person. I know her family is a touchy issue. But even so, I just don't know why she snapped violently like that. SOMEthing else must have been going on. Why couldn't she have said, "talk about my family and I'll cut you off at the knees. Now bring it if you want to. But heed my words. Now let's have dinner. Where's the menu?"

I know it would probably be the cast members last season on the show if this happened.... But when accusations, and hints and rumors are discussed......WHY can't one of the women just say...."say what you want bitch I know what's true my family, REAL friends and loved ones know what true.....We laugh at all this bull shit -- so have at it." and sit back with one arm over the back of the chair, and chill. Why can't some one SOMEtimes be ABOVE the fray. OK I know this may be a naive question -- but do you think producers actually PLOT OUT WHO they want to go over the edge. Like would they ever ask Yolanda to freak out like Lisa did? Or they wouldn't ask certain people because they know that person wouldn't do it. ANd as was pointed out why DID Lisa R. freak out like that. I thought it was waaay over the top and totally UNacceptable. And as for what we saw on tape. They all kind of gave Lisa a pass for it. So what Kyle said Harry's name. Lisa even said Kyle doesnt' even KNOW Harry, so what could she possible say that would be taken seriously. I dont' get these ladies' over the top, bug out reactions....to petty bullshit that's not even worthy of a reaction.

And???? That doesnt' mean everyone there can afford to spend like these "shahs" seem to. Asa's parents are just one example. A polite and a nurse. That's not exactly big BH money. I just don't think we can presume anything about the "wealth" we see on this show. That's all. I believe Asa has said they did NOT have a lot of money.

Oh how Food Network has fallen from its heights. No posts about it since November. Yikes. Just saw a FN promo for a new show called "Food Fortunes." So is that how bereft of ideas they are -- coming up with a "Shark Tank" rip off?....where people make a pitch for money. FN prime time is now just all game shows or a competition shows. How lazy.

Thanks, that what i thought. I just don't see those successes supporting the lifestyles we supposedly see them living. You'd think they had Kardashian money the way they're living. And many they do. Asa didn't have Diamond Water until after she was on the show. But had a whole lot of gold jewelry before that. Reza may be doing well, but he's not Donald Trump. And Mercedes isn't Ivanka. He spends 35K on one watch. And he has many other Rolexes. Not to mention what he must spend on clothes. His condo/home didn't look like it was furnished with a budget in mind, so I'm wondering where they're getting all they're money. Also, The head piece Asa was looking at was likely THOUSANDS as well. Unless her ex was worth millions how does she support her spending? Are they all making tens of millions to spend like this? Registered nurses don't make THAT much money. Mike is supposedly not doing all that well. Which of course is relative. Asa has said her parents don't have any money, which is why she wants to do so much for them. And how successful was GG's dad to support their lifestyle for decades -- AND still be doing so? Is he the IM Pei and Frank Lloyd WRight of Hollywood? With the lifestyles and spending I'm seeing, you'd think they had Donald Trump money. And I just don't see it.

Joanna's father is HALF-German/HALF Lebanese, her mother is Korean. As for the show, I like it just as it is. I think the mix of construction, interior design -- and just a peak into their lives -- is perfect. I watch design and remodeling shows for design and remodeling -- not the personal lives of reality show characters.

1) As for the parents.... Mercedes' mom is a bitch. What kind of parent berates and denigrates their child like she does. While Mike's parents are OK, and I haven't seen they're as dream killing as Mercedes' mom......I've seen a couple of quick looks from them, that I suspect that while they may not have MEANT to encourage competition between Mike and his brother....I think they DID, to some extent. With two brothers, relatively close in age, there might have been competition anyway. I just don't think they totally quashed it. I've seen some looks of -- if not disapproval -- of Mike..... then looks and responses I wouldn't exactly call encouraging, and esteem building. I think they TRY to guide and support....but some parents just don't know or understand that what works with one child....won't work with another. For example, I think they might have compared the two brothers hoping it would encourage them, but you can't do that. Most times, I'd say that leads to shaming one of them. Look at how many parents shame their kids. For SOME it MIGHT work. But it's not the best way to build self-esteem. You need to encourage them or have expectation for them both -- BUT, SEPARATE from each other. So many parents SUCK at being parents. It's a shame. 2) I uses all these Bravo-type reality shows as a Phd course in psychology and sociology. This show and the rest: -- Why are these people soooo into materialism? Why would they portray themselves soooo poorly? -- Why are so many of them sooo desperate for love? WHY does Jessica seem so desperate for Mike? WHY do Mike and GG see m to have both anger AND drinking issues? I suppose it's more obvious why Mercedes is the say she is ....look at the mom she has. Same for Mike and his parents. We dont' see a lot of GG's parents. But this show is SUCH a case study about how the family you grow up in creates and shapes your personality, if not your entire being. 3) Asa and Reza seem to be the most "normal' and even they have issues. 4) I don't have any problems with the "Mike's drinking" storyline. He drinks and acts like as ass, and they show it. It is what it is. 5) I'd like to know more about what these people really DO. Reza and Mercedes have jobs. I get the feeling Asa is spending her Bravo money. All the jewelry and clothes she had when she first started, did she afford that on an "artist's" income? And her parents clearly aren't loaded. They've said how GG's parents got rich, but I forget. Can someone run down a refresher how all the parents made their money? 6) Bottom line is I like the show and will watch. have now issue with any portrayals.

My problem with CNN now is, it's so far gone from Larry King and it made SUCH a mistake with Piers Morgan for so long.....that I don't trust TPTB to even program a good Larry King-like show. They'll either pick the wrong host, or try to come up with some creative format, or have talking heads on it. Just give viewers a GOOD HOST, who can do hard news, feature, and celebrity interviews. Larry King isn't the only person in the world who can do that. Don Lemon would have been perfect for it at that time. And he still may be. How 'tainted' he is from other things I personally don't know. Anderson could also do it. ((I know his "talk show" flopped. But I don't think his heart was ever in that. He never really seemed into it, to me. It was like he did it because it was an opportunity and I guess people were saying he'd be great -- and crazy NOT to do. Personally I always DID wonder how he found the time. I mean the man is anchoring a nightly show, flying all over the place covered God knows what kind of breaking news....how did anyone THINK he'd be able to do a talk show, TOO? Anyway,I just think CNN needs a consistent prime time lynch pin show. If they LEAVE Anderson's news show in a slot that COULD be it. But it can't be that viewers tune in one night and find news -- or Morgan Spurlock, another night, Anthony Bourdain. Love Spurlock and Bourdain on weekENDS, but weekNIGHTS. Aperson is tuning in for Anderson and it's some taped show. WTH? ... as the booming voice of James Earl Jones said -- THIS is CNN, remember? At least with Larry King I would tune in every night to see what/who was on...even if I didn't stick around, I'd check it out. But I haven't even tuned in to CNN at night (consistently) since Piers Morgan took over the show. That's how much his choice turned me off. I check out CNN more weekend nights for their specials, documentaries, Lis aling, Spurlock, Bourdain -- more than I tune in during the week. The Roger Ebert documentary film was EXCELLENT. I've watched it twice so far.

My question about CNN for a while now...given that ratings are so off from what they were, is: What's the plan for improving? One night I'll tune in and it's Anderson hosting news...the next night it's a frigging pre-taped show? What is CNN doing with the programming. It's all over the place. I mean like crazy inconsistent. The one thing about Larry King was Day in day out....big news day or nothing going on....you knew the programming you'd get. WHY -- WHY -- they chose Piers Morgan to replace Larry King I still dont' get. He sucked from day one. Heck, he sucked before he started. And instead of dumping him paying out his contract...they committed hara-kirion their own programming. It was crazy. DON LEMON should have gotten that show, or Katie (Couric) or someone who -- like Larry King -- can do ALL KINDS OF INTERVIEWS. SO that IF you have a breaking news story they can do that kind of 'journalistic' interview -- and do a celebrity interview. WHY on earth DON"T they go BACK to that -- a 9p lynch pin show...M-F, that can be topic of the day, or celeb, or whatever. NOT TALKING HEADS, a host who can do JOURNALISM, and features. They DO have those kinds of people on staff already -- OR go FIND ONE. Hell rotate the hosts but keep the SHOW the same. But you can't have news one night -- and a Morgan Spurlock show another -- and frigging Anthony Bourdain the next. You're a frigging NEWS NETWORK.

I think the guy in the hospital is Melissa's father -- but the actor didn't look like the same actor who played Benny's dad. (to me anyway) but technically that character COULD be recast. But he could also be the father of them both -- because he did have a wife and other kids. (and of course we're going to find out Ronnie is paying Melissa. I thought the screen would pull back to us seeing a check or her bank account on a computer screen showing a deposit from ronnie)

IF you look in some of the scenes there are people in street clothes, who are not dressed as cops. Who knows who those scene fillers were supposed to be. But you to mean to tell me now one heard ANY thing, or saw ANYthing that could ruin this guys campaign?! Heck the cops were still there when Catherine did her 1979 speech and kicks Celine's ass. 3) Kathryn's standing?...in her speech, did she still say she'd never let him go just to punish his ass. I know she'd said she hated him, and wanted to ruin him and make his life hell? Right? But I don't remember whether she was done with the "I'll never let you go' part? or planned to punish and ruin him -- while STILL standing by his side as he runs for governor.....but hey, it's not like it hasn't been done...IN REAL LIFE:) (no names, please but I think we know who they are:):)) As for Jeffrey....do we know for sure that he DOES know Candace is at the hotel. Have se ween her tell him where, I know they talked on thw phone, but did she say specifically where she was? ALso technically she could be a ANY hotel. She couldn't just say I checked into A hotel. She'd have to say I checked into the "XYZ name hotel" So he could be telling the truth -- he doesn't know. I think it would be a oh damn moment though if: -- Quincy did kill Jeffrey then the shit really WOULD be on -- between David and Veronica -- Ronnie would turn on Quincy, Quincy might try to come get her too, knowing she is the loose end -- It's GOT to come out that SHE got him out of prison -- uh -- IN 24 HOURS. (tell me again how that happens? Anybody?) -- All this would happen while Veronica was turning back to her pill addiction -- and crazy FOR REAL, FOR REAL! DAMN.....! now THAT would be a storyline the two deaths...Amanda's and Jeffrey's back to back....you go TP! Talk about plot twists..... The Carrington's and Cryers would have all kinds of shit going on!

PROPS! to the person who said Veronica would get back on the pills!:) I'm sick of her though. i hope SHE kills HERself. WHY didn't TP let the scene between Kathryn and Veronica go on.....I bet Kathryn was in the mood to say "bring it bitch..." OMG, when she hung up on Jeffrey.... LIKES: Hannah and Candace in the hotel DISlikes: Langdon, Candace and Maggie (Is Maggie a whuss (sp?), or just above wallowing. Because she has let Veronica and Candace both dog her out.

Looking at the restaurant from the road, it looked like there was more land to the right. So I thought they should have expanded the restaurant itself to that side -- where he was putting the general store.I think there was some room on the left, but not as much. You probably can't come too much closer to the road. And of course you have to leave enough open space for all the parking, when the place -- especially the new bigger place is full. Maybe he also bought some adjacent lot.

I'm not saying Ewell didn't get a bad edit. Myabe he did. But I'm still amazed that someone so on the ball, who is some great PR whiz, seemed to be so inarticulate. IF he had planned for franchising, and Marcus said that's not the plan....Yes, I CAN see Ewell being thrown for a loop. But he didn't even explain HIS OWN marketing that well. If HE is an "idea guy" then I don't know what to say about that. When he said he was thinking about bringing in a consultant -- before Marcus even chuckled I was thinking "consultant" they dont' need a frigging consultant. Duh -- MARCUS IS the consultant (so to speak) Clearly, we see Ewell mention other ideas besides Facebook, but he didn't seem competent to me -- I don't' care WHAT state board he chaired. If that's the way I came off, I'd be embarrassed UNDER the floor. Some people say he just wanted to cash in on his SIL and BIL's hard work. But I'm not going to go there. But he also didn't man up and acknowledge that there was no place for him -- yet. Maybe there would be in the future.....if Shulers were to ever get big enough to NEED a full time PR or media person -- then he could do that. But for where they are now, they just don't need that. As for the deck...there MUST have been a permit, or setback reason (and cost consideration of course) as to why Marcus didn't expand the INSIDE seating. What the place needed more than a deck -- was an addition and more RESTAURANT seating..... What happens when people are enjoying the deck or they have a big event there -- and it starts to rain. There's no room for people to go inside.

Heavens no...and she'd better not be:) Some of us were just bandying about various what ifs or possible plot twists.... TVForever started it...:):) JUST KIDDING.... So some of us just picked up on that and played with it. But no one thinks she is.....

That's what can be frustrating about all of these RHW shows. We don't know what IS their real 'actual lives" deportment and their made up for TV activity and behavior. The show does not tape all year, so I wonder how these ladies behave and live when the show is NOT in production. The show is about forced friendships and relationships, set on a backdrop of made up events, but they're real people not traditionally scripted dramatic characters. Producers are just trying to piece together a show, when the people really don't know each other and socialize EXCEPT FOR the show. The cast is only together (most of the time) when they're at a made up for taping the show show event....or their talking about each other...going to someone's house, having lunch, etc. -- Phaedra is a lawyer, and undertaker, and has other ventures...does she take a break from that during taping, because we barely see her doing any actual WORK, real work on the show. Same for Cynthia, and all of them really. Sure we get a peak at Kandi producing a show, or in the office. But does anyone REALLY think Kenya's I'm going to produce a pilot storyline is anything but her playing for the cameras. MUCH as I hate Nene's attitude and personality -- and least she is working her work. I also think Bravo itself is doing the show a DISservice. I know it wants to milk all the ratings and money it can get out of it's number one show. But the season is way too long. Longer than any other HW show I think. And the longer season means producers/editors need more scenes (of lesser quality.) Why not do a SHORTER season, that will have people wanting more...instead of 10 weeks, PLUS a 2 part reunion....that has viewers praying it's over. But I suppse people are still watching. Do we know what the ratings have been this season. Down? After this season Bravo is really going to have decisions to make -- casting and scheduling -- about this show.

IF the car was Jeffery's (Veronica's) that would be interesting......

You'd think Celine would be devastated IF Amanda were hers. (For example if the Cryers made her give her to them. I can't imagine her knowing that info and not having a reaction that wouldn't be more 'obvivous.' Even if she didn't raise Amanda like a nanny/governess, she was at least around her all her life so I can't see her having the reaction we saw...which was more about Jim than Amanda. If -- IF Celine were Amanda's mother....the ONLY -- only way I'd accept that would be if Celine put her up for adoption, and didn't know Amanda was hers. Also, why wasn't that mentioned in Kathryn's monologue some how.....((I wanted a child so badly....and we finally adopted one...and now she's dead, or whatever)) Alls this has me wondering about every one's age again. Also, how old are all these adult kids. If Amanda was in law school -- AND not her first year either -- AND if Amanda has missed just say ONE year of school because of her mental issues.....that would make her??? What? ....22? And Wyatt is older right? SO he's say, what?? 25? And Celine's son said he'd finished school right, so that would make him anywhere from -- but wait how old did Kathryn say -- or infer the older by is? Is he BETWEEN Wyatt and Amanda's age, or younger than Amanda...'cause he sure didn't look under 22, or even 25...when he was talking to Celine and Jim in the study. And Jeffrey was going for his MASTER's (not just his bachelors?) ....so he's about 24? And Benny and Candace are about?.....25 and 22? If Kathryn was 16 in 1979, that makes her 52.....so you want to say Jim is 54? As for the car, I know TP is sloppy about details and backstory, but for this to be Jeffrey's car. would really be unforgivable. What did Ronnie do have the car repaired, change the make and model, and sell it? Well, it was in HER name.....Hey, CHARACTERS can have accidents and facelifts and come back as a new actor....why not a car? (Please G-d no) But you'd think it would have to be the car....other than that what is TP doing....writing filler scenes that go nowhere just to fill extra time when an episode runs short? If it IS the car...that would mean HANNAH now has the car.....and IF it's been repaired and sold....is the trail on it too cold for it to matter now? WHO would recognize it?......BUT, if Jim heard Wyatt say Veronica had the car...she can now say...she doesn't (present tense) have it. So actually that development removes her threat over Jeffrey.....I wonder if THAT would turn him against her -- finally.....that she blackmailed him with a car she repaired sold and doesn't even have anymore. Ooooh I know that would have steam coming out of my ears! What plot possibilities do you all see with any of this?
