  1. The new show "Guilty Pleasures" -- is different from the old show "Best I Ever Ate"......exactly how? Talk about a retread of an idea, premise and format of a show.... geez.
  2. 1) this reunion SHOULD have been done in Charleston......for consistency it SHOULD be a two-parter. BUT....I don't knwo if I want or need another hour of these pitiful sad, stupid people on my TV screen. Another hour of WHAT? WHY? 2) Not of fan (at all) of Patricia (Whitney's mom). She's no better than Kathryn. 3) Landon and Cameran....whatever.... Don't care about them either way. 4) Whitney ....he and his mom can both go away. 5) Shep is just an immature rich 35 year old ass 6) Craig....he's just naive. Doesn't have a lot world experience. AND not that articulate. So he's not good at come backs and defending himself. The best for last...Kathryn and Thomas. Poor Kathryn....she STIL doesn't know how to play Thomas to get what she wants. And by 'play' I dont' mean use and exploit. Becasue he cares about her.SHE doesn't know how to approach him to reel him in. And him.....Poor Thomas....because at 50-something, he's thinking with his little head, and letting Kathryn's p*^%y be his downfall. WHO admits on national TV...."Yes, I've had you followed, and I'll destroy you." I could hear T-Tav's lawyers groaning all the way from Charleston. They actually COULD be a couple IF each one knew how to treat and speak to each other.
  3. Not being in my mid 30s and fighting cancer. I'l refrain from criticizing Daisy for her emotions or how she expresses them. So I see nothing wrong with what she said. Could she have gone to Demetria directly? Yes she could have. But she didn't.
  4. Of course the "Kmart" mention was a dig. Of all the stores Heather could have said -- especially at their socio-economic shoppin level .....Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Bloomies, Barneys, Heni Bendel ..... I find it very interesting, if not telling, that she mentioned Kmart. I mean really...Kmart? And then she tries to clean it up in her talking head saying how major, reputable and national a retailer Kmart is. Is HER stuff sold at Kmart? I love you Heather, but come on. That dig was slick. I'll give you that. Rolled off your tongue so innocently....
  5. Personally, I love Heather's strong personality. I'm surprised The model Kristen (sp) wasn't released. Talk about having nothing to add to the show....which just doesn't need EIGHT women on it. Even if Bethenny hadn' t come back.....I think Kristen could have been let go...especially with them adding Dorinda.
  6. ^^ I do NOT want Mike &Jessica to leave the show. I DO think they fill a certain niche on the series. This is an ensemble show. And to be honest I'd rather have Mike and Jessica on the show than GG or MJ. Mike and Jess at least get some reaction from me. GG and MJ....not so much. Without this Mike "storyline" -- what would GG have brought to the show this season? Nothing. To be honest I'm wondering why the group seemed to take GG's side over Mike, in the first place. Because I'm team Mike on this. I think IF Mike had not already been spending time with Jessica, and there hadn't been some very slight interference into the group because of Jessica (before this). The group might very well have sided with Mike and not GG. When you think about, it Reza says he and Mike were SUPER tight, like brothers....to my mind that means he and Mike were tighter than him and GG, or MJ and GG....so why'd they take GGs side in this mess? And for MJ and GG....Do I care about MJ and her boyfriend? Uh. Not really. Don't get me wrong. If it's real, I'm happy for her. I just don't care about it that much. DO I care about GG not at all. She's a drunken, spoiled brat who elicits NO concern from me at all. I'd actually like to see Asfia and Bobby BOTH stay on the show, just not as a couple. I'd love to see if they could be mature adults after their break up. (Bobby could likely do that better than Asifa.)
  7. I don't get what GG (and the others) wants from mike...he DID say IF he did anything inappropriate he's sorry. And she STILL wasn't happy. Look, the man said he doesnt' remember anything...which I believe. GG herself has said they were both super drunk. How much of any apology do you want from someone who says they don't remember what happened....the most you could get ANYone to say would be ....IF anything happened, I'm sorry. Mike did that. I'm with him....enough already.
  8. 1) I do think Reza was upset about canceling the wedding. Sure they were trying to have a good time. But that doesn't negate the fact that they were on what was suppose to have been a wedding celebration trip. MY surprise goes back weeks....I was shocked he proposed at all. He and Adam were NEVER in that great a place relationship wise. Soooo I don't now why he proposed in the first place. I never got the vibe that Reza was all that giddy about being engaged. It was all lip service. 2) I'm team Bobby all. the. way. I'm not crazy about either one of them airing their relation ship dysfunction in front of everyone -- all the time. But I'd be sick of Asifa, too. She's suffocating. Guys don't like that. 3) I'm done with G.G. and Mike. And think their conversation -- her entire allegation really -- should have been handled off camera. I do NOT want Mike out of the group. 4) Love Asa. and Shervin. Not feeling M.J..
  9. 1) I am NOT a Patricia fan. I think she's a stuck up old biddy. And does she do ANYthing for herself. I've never seen her lift a finger to do anything. Does she dress herself? Comb her own hair? Wipe her own ass? What does she need a servant for? 2) I do think Shep was embarrassed....and it's that embarrassment that fueled his jealousy/anger. It's not a good reaction for him, or anyone else...but for many it's their nature when they put them selves in a "comparison" situation. 3) Love J.D. And yes, the way J.D. delivered his advice to Thomas....vs. the tone of the conversations between Whitney and Thomas is telling. 4) Editing can be very deceptive. Just because we were shown what seem to be Whitney reaction shots while TRav and Kathryn were talking...does not mean that's what he was looking at ....at all.
  10. 1) Kritsten is sooo a non-factor this season. WHY is she even on the show? 2) Carole's over bite is very distracting to me. Are her top teeth real? Why doesn't she get her crooked bottom fixed?
  11. 1) ^^ Yeah, I thought the same thing. I think Marcus was really ticked that he was in for way more than the original deal -- AND that Scott came coming back for money so they could fill orders and buy materials. What kinds of business management is that? Are there NO financial reserves.. tho handle an increase in orders? The big deal was that Scott bought the machine and spent the money without prior permission -- ALL THE WHILE -- asking for money just to keep filing orders and buying materials. That said.... Marcus did say have more orders than expected IS a good problem to have. The printed mats looked good. AND they are a product that WILL sell. You put a team logo on ANYthing -- especially a floor mat or tile that looks like a basketball court or football- or baseball field and they will sell. And I thought the daughter's idea about the tailgating -- and home decor line was fantastic. So it WAS about the money....and it WASN'T about the money. 2) It was interesting that Marcus was soooo effusive with praise for the salon owner. Granted, that's one of the only episodes I didn't see originally. So, did they have some kind of special rapport during that episode? That made her stick out so much for her "hard work" and dedication? I was like where is this coming from? 3) I KNOW she's a hard worker, and I KNOW she's dedicated. BUT SOMETHING about the Key Lime Pie business just makes me done with wanted to even hear about them anymore. Something about the young women he made 25 owner I just haven't warmed up to. (I forget her name) Nothing against her really. She's just not a character in this play that I care about.
  12. The dance teacher's nose was better...And it was certainly worth it for HER to go through surgery to get that result. We may not see "that much" of a difference -- but she's looked at her bulbous nose every day...so to her the difference may be monumental.
  13. Interesting ....... How about it was just utterly disrespectful and had nothing to do with Greg's ego. Not all. But are you saying it's not a safe assumption that many if not most black women don't want their hair wet? It may be an assumption, but it is a safe one. IMO.
  14. IMO, there's just no defending the grils' behavior. This was a professional event for Demetria. You can't come out to support your friend, and then disrupt the event. Uh, not OK. I think they were making too much noise. If they were there to support her WHY did they HAVE to be talking that much AT ALL? Why couldn't they sit there and listen....as everyone else seemed to be doing. YES, they COULD have that there and been quiet. If we are to believe the editing, we DO see people looking in their direction supposedly because they were loud. I'd be pissed too if my "friends" did that at an business event I'd invited them too. If THAT'S the way they SUPPORT her...well, any drunk off the street could behave like that. Why not mingle and talk up the book? But no, instead of HELPING, they act ignorant. NO defending that -- at all. Period.
  15. Liked this episode. Glad Marcus is back. So I can get the fix needed to keep my crush going.
  16. I think I'm getting a crush on Dr. Nassif. I dont' know whether he's an ass hole from hell, or the nicest guy in the world. But I love that he's all business with this patients....and that he doesn't play around with inappropriate comments and behavior. He's no nonsense ...and I like that. I like Terry, too but he loves being on TV a little too much for me.
  17. 1) Ramona initially brings up the topic of Mario (in the limo) -- and then turns around and says she doesn't want to talk about him. SHE brought it up. 2) Sonja black shoes sooooo did not go with her silver dress. 3) Why can't Sonja shut up when people are talking to her...especially when Bethenney was talking to her -- trying to get through to her after her drunken night. Because she's Sonja, that's why. 4) Dorinda has her pluses. But I still think she's more bitch, than not. 5) Hate to say it but I loved Carole's boobs T-shirt. 6) As for all the arguing, in the limo and at the table...I dont' know WHAT to make of that. 7) Bethenney is a bitch, too. She got bent out of shape about Carole's dig against her, and she DID turn around and do the same thing to Sonja. oh, but she didn't want to hear that. Bitch.
  18. Whitney is a producer. I THINK I read he pitched the idea to Bravo, or Bravo production company. As for the casting, I think Whitney "brought the cast together"-- what ever that means. So he likely knew them personally or through friends of friends. If Whit asked Thomas and Shep, and Shep said he knew Craig, and so on and so on and so on. Maybe.
  19. My G-d, Adam -- get sone self esteem! WHY are you in a relationship with someone who demeans you and talks to you in a hurtful way? Reza 'just isn't that into you" Find someone who IS. Reza is NOT ALL THAT. He's NOT a good catch. Asifa and Booby, too. I think they WANT to love each other and be loving ...but Asifa's insecurities are chipping away at Bobby's desire to even deal with her. To be honest, I'm not really sure how much BOBBY himself wants to be with Asifa...as oppose to Asifa pushing the relationship. Anytime a person always says "I love her, BUT"..... there's a problem.) Bobby is just not as the kids say, feeling her right now. She's a nuisance and a nag and I think he's done with her. He just doesn't know how to end it with out hurting her. And he doesn't want to do that. He just doesn't know how it get out of it because Asifa is so clingy.
  20. Re: the alleged assault issue. You can google info about it. The hairdresser and Thomas were NOT alone. The editing of the show is playing loose with the timing of the charges. Kathryn, the firend/haridresser and Thomas were all three at the house when there was a dust up. The allegations came after that. I'm thinking the 'alleged incident' happened.......the trip came next (who knows the next day or week?)......and the news breaking about 'charges" came during the trip. (after police looked into it) The "charged were dropped BTW. And I don't even know that they were ever taken all that seriously. He's well known, rich family, state royalty, former state official, running for office. From what I read the police looked into because they had to, and yeah you have to do that....but once you realize what it really was....there's no "there, there" for making it a big deal. Just google it. There's acutally audio and video of part of the incident. That friend took out her cell phone and recorded part of it. And it really didn't help her because Thomas is heard telling her to get out of his house....more than once, he says "get out." (The alleged assault was allegedly, supposedly a door being closed and hitting her arm)
  21. Maybe Bravo isn't showing the fight because GEneva is suing Melyssa for 25 million dollars, ACCORDING TO TMZ, which also says Geneva was arrested and charged, and had video of it - which didn't really show the nitty gritty of the fight. THAT video may not have been Bravo's it was too far away an looked like someone's cell phone video. If BRavo has video of it I doubt Bravo wants to get drawn into the legalities of showing it. But I'd LOVE to have it shown on the show. And of course police or the defense can request it or get it subpeonaed. Just a reminder that what we see is manipulated....Are they not going to show ANY reference to it. Not even the ladies referring to it, or talking about it, too. Also a reminder that the producers show what they want to show, and edit how they want to . As for the ladies, I like them all for different reasons....BUT.....some of them certainly don't come off as the most immediately likeable people I've ever seen.
  22. Wow I expected comments about Greg (Demetria's fiance's name, right) to kick Chantelle out. She should have been kicked out she was disrupting the event....or was she? Cameras or no cameras> I think she WAS disturbing others. I just on't see him making a scene about it if they weren't REALLY disruptive. ALthough as the PR person said, having someone thrown out can draw MORE attention to the trouble maker than just leaving them alone. I was glad that as a man he stepped up to defend Demetria. He clearly shows he takes no shit, and is certainly protective.
  23. 1) I didn’t say or even imply EVERY, or even most, reality stars go on to fame and fortune – they don’t. I was talking about what’s POSSIBLE. (IF Craig works for it) 2) Who said anything about him staying in Charleston? There are PLENTY of actors and models who don’t live in NY or LA. There’s no reason he can’t live in Charleston and go back and forth for calls gigs. He could have a “second home base” in NY and hit Charleston every weekend if he wants. 3) One signing as the face of a designer fragrance, could get him some bucks Heck, Vera Wang just came out with a new line of men’s formal wear for weddings, he could get a gig like that…..There’s no shortage of gigs he could get. And the right collaborator might WANT HIM -- because he IS on a reality TV show. So it’s not like it can’t be done….. ….as long as he’s willing to HUSTLE even just a little bit-- and that’s that question -- and willing go where the gigs are – he COULD make millions. Yes, indeed, he could. Working toward the right endorsement contract will take care of that. Do male models make as much as females? I already said they don’t. But WITHOUT AIDED RECALL I thought of these male models: Mark Venderloo, Tyson Beckford, Dijmon Housou, Marcus Schenenberg, Gabriel Aubry. (Maybe most people couldn't name ANY male model, but, yes I heard of them outside of any relationships they may or may not have had with other famous people) And I think they could afford any kind of lifestyle Craig might want live by hanging with Shep. I’m NOT saying those models have as much money as Shep or Whitney, I’m saying if they all went out no one would have to pick up their tab. My POINT WAS…if Nene and Kim Kolciak and the others can parlay their little bit of NOTHING to work with…into bigger money…..there’s no reason Craig can’t ….when he’s got more going for him to START WITH. What he needs is agent to kick him in the butt….He’s got the smarts and good looks…for heaven’s sake. The problem is …his lack of hustle. An agent will bust his/her a$$ for you, IF they know you will show up be professional and can deliver the goods. It’s not Craig’s potential that’s the problem…. it’s his work ethic. Since he IS gorgeous, AND doesn’t want a 9-5 office gig…he needs to work what he’s got. THAT is what he’s not doing. I’m not saying modeling is EASY…I said Craig COULD be successful at it, and use THAT to get the kind of money he wants to have.
  24. Except Craig IS already on a TV show ...and DOES have a platform he can launch from...however he would choose to do that: --Nene Leakes -- what the hell did SHE have before her TV show? --Bethenney Frnakel -- Kim Kolciak-Bierman It's not like it doesn't have all he needs to make him self even more famous and RICH. IF he works it .....he can rake in quite a bit of bank. But he will have to have at least some hustle about it. I don't think Tyson Beckford is exactly broke. Heck, Elisabeth Hasslebeck of "The View" started out on a reality show. There's no limit to what Craig COULD launch himself to....if he hustles.......just a little bit. Again, he'll have an agent and business manager....he just has to deliver.....
  25. -- Whitney is a jerk, and has some personality issues. -- Shep and the ladies. He says he eventually wants to settle down. But if he's not ready so what. He has plenty of time. He's 35. HE is not on a clock. We don't know what -- if anything more -- went on between Shep and Jackie?....but that whole scene with her seems forced or fake or whatever. WHY even show that...Why not just have him say in a talking head...it didn't work out...oh well, and chuckle. I dont' understand why their scene on the sofa was even shown..or TAPED for that matter. -- I like Cameron a LOT (SHE could probably tame Shep)..... and I like Landon, too. -- I look forward to Kathryn getting in Whitney's face. But once again she does it when it seems as if she may have been drinking. And she can't REALLY dress him down like he needs to be. She's not his match in the wit and retort department. Oddly enough, HE needs to be shown up by someone ....who can condescend with a sharp tongue, and smile, while embarrassing you through the floor, and leave him silent with his tail between his legs. THAT I'd pay to see. -- I like Thomas -- when he's NOT being immature. -- And now to Craig. Craig has plenty of time to get his act together. He should concentrate on the the modeling. Go for endorsements and make his money there. His agent will get the gigs. All he has to do is show up and work seriously at the assignments. I do think he'd do that for the modeling. He doesn't want a 9-5 office gig. Nothing wrong with that. I always, always have thought that Craig's drinking and partying weren't just the normal "drinking and partying" He seems not to be able to drink and NOT get drunk. He calls that just having fun but it's not. If a person has to get DRUNK every time they drink -- that's not just having a good time, that's not just "I've graduated from law school and don't know what to do with myself"...and it's not "I just don't want to work" -- that's a problem. For obvious reasons Craig's parents didn't get into intimate detail about the (apparent alcohol?) issues that run in their families. But given what they said, Craig COULD POSSIBLY just be an alcoholic. As for his money issues. His parents must be supporting him to some extent, Which is fine by me. It's not like they're broke. If I looked up the right company that his father owns. they have over a million dollars (1.5 to 2 mill) in revenue (I know that's not profit), and the mom has her teaching salary. Craig is letting the fact that he doesn't have HIS OWN money get to him. Which is good in a certain way because it should bother him to live off of his parents. And because their money isn't as old as Shep's or Thomas' HE doesn't have any of his own family money. Thomas and Shep -- likely got money from GRAND parents, let alone parents. And Craig didn't have that 'skip a generation, inherited from grandparents" money to get him started. So, yes. he's behind them in the money department -- but as long as THEY don't see him as "less than"...HE shouldn't either. Which -- I get -- can be easier said than done when you see it and are around it every day. And it's in your face like, "Wow. These people really don't have to work." That's why I think the modeling would be good for Craig. It's not 9-5...he can make millions...AND have time to goof off if he wants.
