  1. But Damon did implant some kind of nightmare of Elena's murder into Stefan's head. Then that went the way of the crow and the fog and was never seen again.
  2. I love when Jess gets beaked by that swan and refuses to explain, until Luke confronts him. "That's a brand new ladle! Take the baster!" I especially love it because Lorelai once made fun of Michel for being attacked by a band of swans as well. That reminds me of "Great, now I'm not even the town whore!" and the followup with Kirk playing her in the Revolutionary War re-enactment, while Lorelai and Rory wonder just how far he and Taylor are going to take this. And it can't be said enough. "You hit a deer?" "No, I got hit by a deer!"
  3. My point is that if she is a grad student in psychology it might open gates to have her involved in cases. Knowing she had an interest in being a police officer, criminal psychology might be the route she would take.
  4. She seems to be a grad student of some kind. She mentioned working on her dissertation when they were in Barry's lab at the beginning.
  5. From the same episode, I tend to use, "It's just a little ___________. It's still good! It's still good!"
  6. One of my childhood favorites is from 3 Ninjas: "Rocky loves Emily, Rocky loves Emily..." (repeat as needed) And from The Incredibles: "I am your wife! I'm the greatest good you are ever going to get!" and "That was totally wicked!"
  7. I think Lori losing a child with David would be the best choice. Lying to the girls about being twins for all their lives doesn't seem like something Elizabeth would do, even if I can imagine David doing it. I'm imagining a child that was due on May fifth, which is why she took Carter that day.
  8. I think I'm more bothered by the fact that Shawn and Eric don't seem to live there than that other people they know do. We know they moved to New York with Cory and Topanga.
  9. One question: Did the lunchlady misspell "friend" or did Veronica just miss a letter when it was spelled out? I give Veronica some slack if she actually spelled "fiend," which I thought she did.
  10. I'd watch the hell out of that spin-off. And now that that image is in my head, I've completely forgotten what I came here to say.
  11. I'm not a fan yet, but I have a feeling I will be before long. I tend to like the sidekicks, although the actor and character are pretty generic at this point. I do find it hilarious that he decided to play "Pokerface" for the comatose patient. And that Barry posted his love of "Pokerface" on Facebook.
  12. I'm waiting for Danielle Panabaker to bust out her plant-growing superpower from Sky High.
  13. Felicity: We've already exhausted all the topics you would talk about on a first date and a second date and a third date. Or any date. And I've already seen you shirtless. Multiple times...shirtless...all the time.
  14. Not sure who I'd want him with at this point. I love Danielle Panabaker in general, but Barry clearly cares for Iris. I think I'll like their relationship however it pans out. My favorite Iris moment of the episode was her yelling "I'm family!" and trying to get to him at the hospital. I do like that they went ahead and had Detective West find out. I've watched enough CW to know that the cop you're friends with will always find out your secret. I really like Grant Gustin in the role. I've only seen him on Glee before this, and it's fun to see him playing such a goohearted, likable character.
  15. Oh, I liked how David's father's alcoholism tied in with the regret Ruth said he felt for selling James. Of course he does, he hasn't spent the night there in at least two years.
  16. I just realized how awesome it is that Mrs. Claus is playing a Snow Queen. I loved Emma casually calling David "Dad." How many people are going to play Anna to Regina's Elsa? Henry actually used "I know you're in there!" Bo Peep the magical warlord? Um, okay. I liked David's awful long hair, and I don't know why!
  17. All right I want to start a new round of best/worst, so... Best and Worst Homages to Other Films/Series Best: 1. Tuesday the 17th 2. Mr. Yin Presents 3. Dual Spires 4. Lights, Camera, Homicidio 5. American Duos Funny thing about my choices is that Lights, Camera, Homicidio and Mr. Yin Presents are my favorite episodes, but Tuesday the 17th is a better homage.
  18. I just realized Peter Hale was in an old Boy Meets World. He vandalizes Feeny's house and Shawn knocks a can of spray paint out of his hand. Ian Bohen, playing jerks since 1996!
  19. That was okay. I continue to like how the friendships progress. Lucas is nicely integrated with the group now, and I enjoyed Maya's "atta girl" kind of expression when Riley flirted with Lucas. I want to give them some credit for having Riley slowly become more comfortable and normal in her flirtations with Lucas. And I did laugh at them going to bed at 7:15 to make the night end faster. The costume designer clearly had fun with the steampunk-esque costumes the kids were wearing.Did anyone else think the grandma shadow was going to be Cory? I thought that looked like his hair. I like the Auggie segment better if I decide it's a shoutout to the Ben and Fred Savage film "Little Monsters."
  20. http://www.cosmopolitan.com/entertainment/tv/q-and-a/a31103/finding-carter-showrunner-interview/ Highlights include referring to Max as the "fantasy boyfriend" and Crash as the "nightmare boyfriend," and "Why would we kill this guy? That's idiotic."
  21. Is Damon in plaid with Collective Soul playing as close as I'm going to get to the 90s grunge flashback I've wanted for five years? I think they have a good setup for the season.
  22. Sophia: There are two things a Sicilian knows: When pasta sticks to a wall it's done. When a body sticks to cement, it's dead!
  23. Finally saw the episode. I hate to say that I really enjoyed it. Carter made mostly good choices (but seriously, when did Elizabeth have time to order you coffee? Think!); Lori was batshit insane; Max and Grant hugged; Elizabeth and Carter bonded; Grant stole Elizabeth's food. All in all, I was very entertained. I kind of hope Carter is gone for a few episodes in season two, so we get some good crazy Lori time and so the title means "trying to find" Carter. I really did like the Max and Taylor interaction. Considering they were planning to kill off Max until they realized how badly that would be taken, I think they were doing a good job with the character in the finale. It was exceptionally sad to see a character who's usually happy that angry and depressed, but it made perfect sense for the scene. I also liked Elizabeth telling how important he was to everyone, and trying to protect him from the video of him being shot. As for Lori's motivations, I'm going with one night stand, David had no idea she took the picture, miscarriage around the time he married Elizabeth, and she felt the baby was owed to her. Also, Alex Saxon has taken over Avan Jogia's previously held position of "I came to watch an interesting premise and stayed for your pretty, wavy hair."
  24. I just kept pretending that was Ryan Atwood being all concerned about the kidnapped children, especially when they were being sent to juvie. Is this show taking place like 10 years ago? There's a conspicuous lack of smartphones.
