  1. http://hollywoodlife.com/2015/01/22/alexandra-barreto-rider-strong-baby-boy-meets-world/ Rider's a dad! Ironic that he's the first of the three to have kids.
  2. I wanted another crossover ep because I've enjoyed them so far, but I was hoping for characters other than Felicity, even though she's my favorite Arrow character. I would have preferred Cisco or Diggle crossover.
  3. I think they've got a decent way around it for now. In Arrow's timeline, it's been four days since Oliver left, however The Flash has had more time since "The Man in the Yellow Suit" and both midseason finales took place around Christmas. If they ever thought Oliver was dead, they would have been told otherwise by this point. No way Oliver's going to stay dead longer than a few episodes in Arrow.
  4. That was the scene I wanted at the end - Cisco pissed off at another suit being destroyed.
  5. Barry: How many drones you got left? Cisco: Two. And they've got lasers. Caitlin and Wells: NO. Caitlin: My dead fiance can fly. Haven't broke that to my parents yet.
  6. I would have liked it more if Barry had been living at home at the start of the series. So what, Joe was paying the rent on his apartment while Barry was in a coma and now he's just gonna move back in? That seems like a waste of money.
  7. Caitlin: I thought I was going to die. Cisco: Not as long as I'm around...or him. Barry: I'm a millenial. It's what we do.
  8. I know it from Boy Meets World. I suspect that if Barry got it from a sitcom, he got it from there.
  9. When he said "the plan" as they were broken out of prison transport, my first thought was "Holy crap, he has this plan tattooed on his body doesn't he?" Everyone was fantastic (Caitlin trying to open a frozen door not withstanding). I loved Barry's maturity in not blaming Wells for choosing to pursue Reverse Flash instead. I liked Cisco earning the respect of the Captain, while The Flash gets Eddie's respect. Eddie's getting better. I'm looking forward to more scenes in the West house. That place is gorgeous. There were a lot of really good platonic relationship moments with the Barry/Iris fistbump, Caitlin/Cisco hug, and Joe/Barry bonding.
  10. Also in the "gets funnier each time I watch it" category - Diggle dismissing Caitlin and Cisco's argument with a "Whatever."
  11. Yep. I should always rewatch before I post. I read something today that had me more convinced than ever that Caitlin and Cisco are going to get powers, or at least that they have them in the timeline from Wells' magic newspaper. According to Wikipediahttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vibe_(comics): The footnote on the article says the issue is written by Geoff Johns. Knowing that cold can be used against Flash too, it seems really unlikely that two characters whose DCU equivalents can counteract the Flash's powers would be recruited here only for their scientific abilities. OR maybe Wells recruited them so they won't get their powers and pose a threat to Barry, which is why he was especially mad a Cisco making the cryo gun, because it wasn't supposed to have happened.
  12. Started reading fanfiction today and discovered that one shipper name for Caitlin/Cisco is KillerVibe. I don't see them as anything but good friends, but with a cool name like that, I kind of wish I did. I do enjoy their friendship though. There's a lot of trust there. Cisco makes a ridiculously powerful gun that the bad guy gets, and Caitlin is the only one to stick up for him. Caitlin says she saw her dead fiance in the sewer, and Cisco goes with her even though he doesn't believe it. They're able to talk about the deep things or how many bugs Barry swallows in a day. They play hooky from work together. When the series started, I thought they would just be a FitzSimmons redux, but they've developed into their own characters very well.
  13. In rewatching Boy Meets World, I saw the original episode with Cory and Shawn snoring and yipping, and what do you know, it's also from a Christmas episode. I don't know if that's intentional, but that was some nice continuity.
  14. I don't remember the entire episode, but I know that's the end to the "linguine with ear salve" story. "Once he changed the name to pesto sauce, it moved like hotcakes!"
  15. I was going with "Because they've seen Hocus Pocus too many times and the high school kiln is huge there too!"
  16. Thank you, Rider Strong, for agreeing to be on this show. Shawn Hunter brightens my day. I like that they referenced the trip they went on after the Christmas episode, and that they remembered Maya wanted a locket. Nice callbacks to the original series. I especially loved the "You can't go through my purse." "Let him!" exchange. Also, Shawn's mom didn't forget where she lived; she took the house with her. Yeah, I'm still angry at that character. ETA: Also, have they forgotten that their zany schemes almost never worked? Granted, their relationship zany schemes had a pretty solid track record, but Feeny and the Matthews almost always caught them for any other trick.
  17. What gets me is that I think he says "Dude, you shot me?!!!" Just anyone calling the Arrow "dude" is hilarious. And it gets even funnier when he sounds annoyed and just a little betrayed when he asks Felicity, "You knew he was going to shoot me?!!"
  18. Caleb, what the hell were you thinking going into the kiln alone? Have you forgotten what show you're on? And even then, didn't you learn this lesson on Ravenswood too? You're supposed to be the smart one! I can get on board the Jason/Ashley train. He's a legal adult, she's a legal adult, neither of them seems to have murdered anyone. These are my standards now.
  19. That confused me a little. It seemed like he came to take Auggie to his grandparents' house, but Auggie didn't want to leave and miss game night. I was a little disappointed after the awesomeness of Home for the Holidays. And they said Riley was twelve again. Make a chart, people! I liked how they incorporated the school and home plots. The costumes were good for the school scenes, and I laughed at the lampshade hanging of Cory being Riley's teacher next year too and the difference between John Adams and John Quincy Adams. I like Josh and how he looked uncomfortable with the flirting and flat out told Maya he's too old for her. Not bad, but a little boring. I feel like this one should have come earlier in the season.
  20. John Wesley Shipp died on Dawson's Creek. He died on Teen Wolf. Let's face it, he'll die here.
  21. I think they had to go this way because every other thing she could have mentioned about being unique would have sounded like she was looking for sympathy or entitled. Being deaf or being the switched at birth daughter of a former MLB player are much more unique, but they probably weren't the best way to start off. Neither was "So, I vandalize property, do drugs, steal narcotics, and blackmail politicians. Please let me in the class." Ok, the good: they called Daphne and Bay sisters a few times. I know Bay said she was saving her sister, and I think Emmett said it when he was calling Daphne out.
  22. Like with English guy and the vandalism guy and Jeff the chef.
  23. I'm on the "Mike's A" train, which I had previously considered. I mean, what else was he doing during season three? Now I'm sure Aria can't be A. A wouldn't be foiled by plastic wrap. The way A went from threatening her to just stapling her after her "Please don't do this to me!" makes me think it's Mike. It would explain why the bad things don't happen to her as often. I totally though Mona was faking her death with the blood, but when they showed us her body, I figured she either was dead or had a twin. After reading here, I have no idea. I liked seeing Grunwald. I especially liked that Hanna felt she had to ask Caleb's permission. You don't want to accidentally bring back his supernatural death curse or something. I love the actress who plays Grunwald. She's so creepy and yet comforting and kind at the same time.
  24. Seriously! Aren't these people tired of being arrested? And don't the writers have better ways to drum up drama?
  25. I've been thinking that since almost the beginning. They do look kind of similar. What throws me off though, is that Wells has a history and credentials and a dead wife in this timeline, right? Doesn't that make it harder to infiltrate as a Barry from the future?
