  1. One that doesn't have a released version, but I love this cover of "Oh Darling." I know, I love Hanson. Who are you to judge me?!!
  2. Something I noticed on re-watch, from the time Caitlin says she's going home to the time Wells walks in the next morning Cisco's outfit doesn't change, so I think he must have worked at the lab overnight trying to figure out what happened with the containment field and was just trying to buy a little extra time the following morning. I think he probably did talk to Barry and knew he was at the hospital with Singh and then trying to stop Mardon. I can see him not calling when he doesn't have the information yet. Although Barry not calling Cisco over Caitlin for a non-medical question does seem plot contrived.
  3. Wells: Why would anybody want to rob a morgue? Cisco: What do you see? Barry: A dead body. Cisco: Barry, you're in a morgue. You're gonna have to be a little more specific than that. Wells: He's taking being targeted by a revenge seeking metahuman rather well, I must say. Joe: You're asking your adoptive father for advice about being in love with his daughter who just so happens to be dating his partner. Caitlin: All right, fine, I will watch every episode of The Walking Dead with you. Mason Bridge: Sometimes when I'm bored, I follow him around. Wells: Forgive me, but to me you've been dead for centuries.
  4. This. Cisco stays totally still as Wells circles him like a freaking shark. Keeping the villain monologuing was probably the best strategy available to him at the moment. Cisco fights or runs when he has a chance - like against Deathstroke on Arrow. Standing still and offering to help wasn't a bad idea; it was the best he could come up with at the time, and when that plan failed, I can't really blame him for just giving up.
  5. Oh my gosh! I just noticed that in the Paleyfest trailer when Cisco puts on those virtual reality or whatever glasses, when he's in whatever program his outfit changes to the one he's wearing when Wells kills him. Is he sneaking a peek into the alternate timeline and that's how the team finds out about Wells now?
  6. I don't think he was trying to convince Cisco he wouldn't hurt him. Otherwise he wouldn't have been so obvious about how he was going to kill him. He would've jumped on Cisco's helping plan then stabbed him in the back. Cisco knew what was happening. He was alone with a murderous speedster with all his toys out of reach. I think Wells meant it as much as he's capable of meaning it, but I'm kind of getting a sociopath vibe from him. And I think Wells was surprised that Cisco meant something to him.
  7. I've rewatched that scene a lot now (one of the dangers of making a fanvideo) and I just keep finding new things I like. Like how curious, geeky Cisco can't resist walking towards Reverse Flash as he does the speed mirage. Or the way Cisco stays calm and offers to help Wells get home, and the real breakdown doesn't start until that doesn't work. And then he looks down at the floor and avoids eye contact until Wells says he's fond of him.
  8. Well that's one explanation of what the A stands for. Or it's Allison Argent. She was still alive in whatever year this show takes place in.
  9. I like Team Flash. I feel like this season has set up some good foundations that are going to be shaken once everyone knows the truth. I'm looking forward to seeing these characters grow once Wells' betrayal is revealed and they have to step up and do the superhero thing on their own. There's been times where I've felt Wells was holding them back in that regard, possibly purposefully.
  10. I think that would be more plausible if Barry had gone back through time at the moment Cisco was dying, because part of Vibe's powers have to do with traveling between dimensions. So if a new alternate timeline had been created right as Reverse Flash killed him instead of after, I'd think that would be a real possibility. I wish it did, though; I'm dying to see Cisco get his powers. Comic book spoiler:
  11. I just had a thought. What was Wells' plan after killing Cisco? It seems like he did it to protect his identity. But then what? He kills Caitlin too? He calls up Barry and blames the Reverse Flash? At this point even if Barry didn't know, I've got to figure he'd be suspicious.
  12. Tom Cavanagh is so great on this series. And on the one hand, I love Wells, and never want him to leave the show. On the other hand, I hate him and I want him to die a thousand burning deaths. What kind of person compartmentalizes like that and says "you're like a son to me, but I'm gonna kill you anyway?" And what is his motivation? Why did he come back in the first place? If he is from hundreds of years in the future, then he doesn't seem to have an actual problem with Barry, and he should have known he was screwing up the timeline and the speed force.
  13. So if anyone sees the shattered pieces of my heart on the floor, try not to step on them. Sweet, smiley Cisco crying may be the saddest thing I've ever seen. I did not know Carlos Valdes had that in him. He just goes through so many emotions in that few minute span.
  14. Ok, time for a post with actual words. Wells, I mean Thawne, you bastard! You made Cisco cry and then you made him die. Major props to Carlos Valdes for that scene, the way the full realization slowly hit him. Even as I knew the time reversal was coming I was like, "Do it before Cisco dies! I can't watch him die!" And then when he did, I wanted Caitlin to find him. Oh, and Caitlin, how about fucking telling Barry that Wells left his wheelchair at the restaurant? Barry and Iris had great chemistry this episode, even before the kiss. I don't think I've ever liked them together more. And now Barry knows how she feels. At least something is sticking. And maybe will get to see Iris's gorgeous clothes again. I want that green dress and green coat. Chilling line of the night: "To me, you've been dead for centuries." Funny line of the night: "Your asking your adoptive father for advice about asking out his daughter who coincidentally is dating his partner."
  15. OH. MY. GOD. Best episode so far.
  16. Come to think of it, Hanna even said that in church. Maybe that's a clue!
  17. I've read the first one. Oliver and Felicity as parents is both adorable and believable.
  18. I liked seeing previous Superman actors return for this series.
  19. I had a rough day and need some feel-good fanfic. Anybody got any Olicity future fics, where they're married and happily ever after but there's still a plot? Serious or silly will work.
  20. Until we get an actual answer, I've decided that A is Abaddon from Ravenswood.
  21. I actually think the "cold" aspect versus the "maternal" side makes sense for characterization. She's protective of the team and I think that as the doctor, it makes sense for her to criticize Cisco and Barry's more dangerous ideas, especially in the earlier episodes before they fully understood the extent of Barry's powers. And I think her being cold makes sensed following Ronnie's "death." She's still grieving when we meet her and doesn't want to let new people in. In terms of characterization, the one that absolutely bugs me is the childish behavior in 1x12 with the "Cisco says I don't have a life!" and the drunk behavior. I hope she and Ronnie aren't done because his storyline brings out some of the best performances (I know Danielle Panabaker and Robbie Amell are two of the more heavily criticized actors on the series, but put those blocks of wood together and I see sparks).
  22. Ok, who told Laurel? She's barely even met Barry. Bad quality aside, there's some good looking stuff in those clips. I hope a higher quality version comes out. West and Lance? Yes! Team Flash against Dr. Wells? Yes! Evil Eddie? No!!!! (But in the best possible way).
  23. Is there anywhere online to see this scene? Not a huge Laurel fan, but so far I've enjoyed all the crossover interactions.
  24. He had an apartment until episode 10, that we only saw once in episode 7 when he was using his powers to get ready really fast. In 1x10, Iris moves out of her dad's house and Barry moves in with him because it's getting hard to sneak out of his apartment in the middle of the night to fight crime without his neighbors noticing (a scene of this would have been hilarious, imo).
  25. Kat Graham and Ian Somerhalder rocked the Bonnie/Damon scene. I'm totally Team Bonnie on this one, but I get where Damon's coming from too and I didn't want to see him in pain when he wasn't actually intending to do harm. But, dammit, you idiot, you love Bonnie! And even if Kai is less evil and can help you find your mom, he hurt Bonnie! Badly! Don't you normally have a "you hurt the people I love, I stab you, break your neck, or eat you" policy? I'm glad Bonnie called Jeremy. Those two needed some kind of resolution, even if it was over the phone. I miss liking them. Caroline humanity-less and still not killing people was actually really interesting. Until she decided to kill Sarah. Poor Sarah and Liam. Although Bonnie and Clyde hijinks with Stefan could be fun. I did kind of hope Stefan would fake turning his humanity off. Did he seriously not consider that?
