  1. Part of the reason I like Cisco as much as I do is that all of my protective instincts kicked on in that episode with Wells getting all creepy threatening and grabbing Cisco's arm. Add in the fact that Cisco is walking towards Wells as he's Reverse Flashing and I feel certain that at some point it the next episode Cisco's going to get knocked unconscious. Again. I'm assuming/hoping that Wells won't seriously hurt him because Cisco is important to the future in his own right. Also, I've decided to take Wells' comment of "I look forward to seeing you accept your Nobel" as future Cisco really does have one. In other news, I broke down and ordered the Vibe comic along with the Flashpoint comic.
  2. The police know lightning fast guys exist now and they don't seem to care to apply it to a 15 year old murder; otherwise they would have probably issued a warrant for the Flash for Nora Allen's murder already. And I think that after years of trying to convince the police he wasn't lying for his father, Barry wouldn't try to get his father out of jail by lying for his father. Now that I think about it, it seems like someone (possibly Iris?) would say "OMG, Barry you were right! Your story makes sense now! The Flash did it!"
  3. I liked the episode. I've seen a lot of love for Hanna's crazy angry stripper dance, but I don't think there's been enough love for Emily's reaction to it - stop dancing entirely, watch intensely and mouth "no." I also liked how Ashley called Caleb to check up on her and actually followed up on it with Hanna's dad. The good boyfriend and the good parent working together. I really enjoyed Aria and Mike's interaction, and I hope Mike knowing about A means he will be helping the girls some this year. Not that I think he'll actually be helpful, but these girls need all the support they can get. And I have no interest whatsoever in Talia's existence, but it made me laugh when she said something along the lines of "What's wrong? Did Ezra find out about us?" Like Ezra was going to find this relationship inappropriate or something.
  4. I'm wondering too. I can't help but think it will happen, but then Barry and/or Wells will screw with the timeline and it won't have happened. On the other hand, this show has revealed things earlier than I thought they would before (Joe finding out, Barry telling Iris he loves her). Also, I think the "you have shown me what it's like to have a son" and "you're smart, but you're not that smart" are directed towards Cisco and not Barry. 'Cause the last thing Barry needs is more father figures, but Cisco's been established as trying to build a family at STAR labs and definitely has more self-esteem issues. So my theory is, Cisco finds out he's Reverse Flash, tries to tell Barry and Caitlin but isn't believed, Cisco sets ups a sting to get proof, Wells is onto him, Wells says the above quotes in his creepy voice and knocks Cisco out. And metahuman time travel shenanigans.
  5. I really don't get the love for this episode. I've seen others talk about how much they enjoy it, but the only thing I really like about it is Larisa Oleynik the goth.
  6. I had to rewatch this scene just to see what "attractive choking sounds" consisted of. And I have no doubt that "I swear to God, Larry" was totally what was going through Oliver's head in that scene.
  7. I've been thinking for awhile now that the Wells reveal will add some depth to the Star Labs crew. I'm wondering if that's why they've had more focus now, so that the aftermath of the team discovering Wells is shady will mean more. Cisco and Caitlin were awfully forgiving after they discovered Wells knew the particle accelerator would blow, but I've got to figure even they have their limits. I'm hoping to see them break away from Wells and see them taking things more seriously and taking ownership of the work they're doing. It's like, this superhero thing was their idea, but Wells keeps stepping in and treating them like children (although, granted, they do act like it sometimes). I've liked what we've seen of the increased interactions at Star Labs, although honestly I think I would watch an episode where all the characters just sat around eating Big Belly Burger, hugging and fist bumping. I'm a sucker for all character combinations on this show. I think 10 and 12 were weak episodes, but the other post-break episodes I've enjoyed. One thing I've decided about the team dynamic is that Ronnie/Caitlin/Cisco had their own special bond, and I've gotten the feeling that Caitlin and Cisco were kind of letting Barry fill that gap while he was gone.
  8. Oliver referenced there being one more inmate, who wouldn't be helping them escape. Apparently he used the term "cellmate" rather loosely in the crossover. .I doubt it. He doesn't learn her name in the flashback, does he? Or that she's an IT person? In their first meeting, he says he was told she was the one who could help him.
  9. I was waiting for Felicity to add, "But you need a haircut." Flashback Ollie is seriously starting to look like MacGyver. What have I seen Diggle's brother on? I kept thinking he must have been on here before, because I swear I have seen him playing the same kind of security detail guy before. ETA: Heroes. The brother was Nathan's campaign manager on Heroes.
  10. I can't handle the month of waiting. Not after that preview. Things seem to be happening a lot faster than I expected them to in terms of Wells and the time travel plot. I do like how things have been settling into less of a villain of the week pattern recently. Victor Garber and Robbie Amell have good chemistry. I'd like to see more of Firestorm. This series has been Robbie Amell's best work (although it's really hard to correctly type his name now). I enjoyed seeing some of the Cisco/Caitlyn/Ronnie team dynamic.
  11. Martin Stein: I'm still inside Ronald. Cisco: There has got to be a better way to phrase that. Cisco: You guys are like 10 seasons of Ross and Rachel smushed into one year.

  13. It just occurred to me that Joe and Cisco had the "Wells might be a murderer" conversation in Barry's lab. Where we know Wells has cameras because he watched Barry get struck by lightning. If he didn't find out and mess with the blood sample, I'd be surprised.
  14. This. I didn't realize how badly I needed Thea to take the news well until it happened and I felt super-relieved. I just want good things for the Queen siblings!
  15. I know of this AU where Felicty was coerced into working for Argus at the same time Oliver was. http://archiveofourown.org/works/2681957/chapters/5998856

  17. Huge improvement over last week. I love adorkable Barry. He and Linda are really good together. I want her dress so bad, along with Cisco's "entropy happens" t-shirt. I continue to like SnowStorm. Robbie Amell and Danielle Panabaker have surprisingly good chemistry. That was a pretty epic kiss at the end. I was happy to see Barry call Iris out on what she said to Linda, although I don't believe she was intentionally trying to sabotage anything. Cisco and Joe were good together. I liked that Joe revealed his suspicions to Cisco and that he trusted Cisco not to tell Wells or Barry. I'm ready for some Cisco backstory after the hints they've dropped the last few episodes. Eddie was only in the episode for 10 seconds, but he made good use of them. I really like that we didn't have a villain this episode. I think it really helped them advance their ongoing plots better. They found Firestorm, Caitlyn's totally not ready to move on, the time travel idea came up, Cisco's in on Joe's suspicions (and aw, he called him a friend), Linda/Barry romance, Iris maybe kinda sorta being jealous, Wells is willing to throw off his timeline to separate Firestorm for whatever reason.
  18. Clearly someone in the promo department agrees with me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IyK6Mf8TdKc
  19. Jumper: Are you gonna let me go back up there? Eddie: No. Joe: You change one more time I'ma shoot you. Stein: I thought people your age didn't read actual books anymore. Barry: I'm the only one.
  20. When your "You Know You're Obsessed with Arrow" posts are equally about The Flash You make three fanvideos in a two week span. You look for the Flashpoint comic at your local library. And this may just be general geekiness, but you download the Duolingo app, because you're right there with Barry when he says he wish he knew a second language.
  21. I noticed watching this ep that Joe is the one that says "Unless we're planning on executing every supercriminal we stop, you geniuses are gonna have to come up with someplace else to hold them." If the team really were looking for a cure, I would think at this point that Wells is doing something to delay them. This is the same team that had a Mirakuru cure in three episodes.
  22. Iris clearly cares a lot about Barry. She's been there for him, and it's been implied that Barry hasn't had a lot of friends. She's done post-graduate studies, so clearly she's intelligent. She's strong; she's able to rescue herself sometimes. She cares about people, since she claimed that was her reason for writing about the Flash - to give people hope. She stands ups for herself. She's playful. She's beautiful. She's affectionate. They have history. While I agree that the character needs more story, she is much more understandable as the main character's love interest than a lot of CW females have been. And I don't feel like Barry has to justify why he loves her. Sometimes that can be done for the story in a natural way and sometimes it can't, but in real life it's usually more complicated than a list of reasons someone's awesome.
  23. You're watching a 60 Minutes episode about how easily new cars can be hacked so that the hacker drives the car, and you're like "C'mon, Felicity, get on this!"
