  1. This series has become so repetitive. It's especially formulaic.
  2. I've always assumed the experts have access to vast, precious old resources that none of us ever discover on our own. My brothers and I have trekked to a couple of tiny, vanishing southern towns to look at land records. I work with tribes so I really enjoyed hearing about the Mohawk connection. The Mohawks are fierce to this day. Last time I was there one had to have a passport to visit their nation, especially if you represented the federal government - not sure if this is still true.
  3. Alana is getting gastric sleeve surgery, or whatever it's called. Her boyfriend is also getting some kind of surgery. Who is paying for his surgery? Sigh.
  4. Possibly fibroids, which can cause long-term bleeding until they are removed. They can hang around quietly and then run amuck during menopause.
  5. Having enjoyed the streamed Below Deck Down Under, I cautiously approached this version. It's a freakin' messy nightmare (again). Since I can't stand Sandy, I'm out.
  6. Moved to the new Jordan thread. Thanks TV Bitch for creating it.
  7. Many of the housewives view tragedy as a competition. They are resentful when someone garners sympathy and attention and they move immediately to stomp it out.
  8. I am shocked at Madison's appearance on WWHL, although I only saw a few minutes. She was blessed with a very pretty face, some would say she is a natural beauty. She has glorious hair - she's a hairdresser - and on WWHL her hair was scraped back in a careless greasy mess. Her pretty face is recently surgically altered I think, and it's not an improvement. The mouth/veneers are a tragedy. These young women lose their minds as soon as they can afford the procedures.
  9. I think the Hamlins are hard up for money. I don't think they have the income to support a lifestyle they are used to living and are having to quietly adjust.
  10. Mira was one of Harvey Weinstein's victims, I believe. She stated that he ruined her career by blackballing her. She did disappear after early promise as an actress. I loved her in "Romy and Michelle." She did have a recent role in the Monica Lewinsky production (played her mother).
  11. There are many sociopaths who walk the reality TV world. She's one of 'em.
  12. There was a blind gossip item that stated one of the Selling Sunset women never appeared to close a sale, and it was because she didn't have her license. Everyone guessed it was Christine - that she was purely a TV character in that brokerage.
  13. So one of the older daughters is now doing Only Fans. Does this surprise anyone?
  14. In earlier years, June would be a 10 or 12 at her thinnest. I have vintage clothes that substantiate the craziness that is today's vanity sizing. When I was a thin fit young adult, my dresses were labeled size 8.
  15. Kathryn's hair journey: from beautiful long lustrous red hair, to a horrific bleached short bob, to a long fake-shiny red wig.
  16. Yeah, that's production's go-to move - send in the clowns.
  17. "I'd like to wipe the slate clean and move forward" is code for "the viewers are sick of this mess and we need to come up with a new conflict."
  18. Fulton's lawsuit appears to document how long the fraud has been going on, and is further proof of how expansive it was. And she's another client who suffered severe injuries in an accident. An attorney once suggested I allow her to deposit a (small) settlement into her personal account because it was a late Friday and she claimed she could not get it into escrow. I'd forgotten this. (Paper check era. No I didn't agree.)
  19. Yeah, Sutton's roller thing is camera fodder. Still, she's not throwing furniture or threatening people. I appreciate the thread of decorum that she and Garcelle bring.
  20. Venita is realizing nobody in this group cares about her. I'm pretty sure she and Chleb are Bravo's diversity tokens.
  21. ...with her body covered totally except for the cantilevered boobs.
  22. It is weird. Perhaps they funneled a lot of it to international accounts? Also, I have the impression that she and Coach were supporting extended family members, or were paying them to work for them. I've been watching for that kind of data as Jen's case progresses, but I haven't seen anything.
  23. Well, Adam answered some of my questions that are in my previous post. This is one of the best series I've viewed since the pandemic killed quality drama series. Although I looked away during that birth scene where the baby's head was stuck. And I keep comparing this series to Call the Midwife, which tackles difficult subjects but in a sanitized way. Very good finale that closed some narrative loops without being Hallmark. ETA: Ben W. is a very subtle physical actor. When he and his ex were at the lake, Ben went from depressed schlump to sweetly flirtatious. Viewed from behind, he leans longingly toward the ex and then joyfully chugs the Champagne. Loved that moment.
