  1. Maybe someone can explain to me why they keep calling all the people there “employees”? I thought it was desk space for rent, meaning you work for some one else and use the Wework space, you don’t actually work for Wework? Right? Adam and Rebecca treat these people as employees but they are just space leasers, right?
  2. I’ve thought this series was interesting up to this point, but I just couldn’t get thru this ep. Something about these two just turned me off, I understand they suffered the same fate as these other women but they seemed the most self serving, not doubting them but……I don’t know. Maybe it was this weird interview format, I don’t know, I just can’t quite put them in the same category as the other victims we’ve seen so far. please don’t blast me.
  3. I loved all of this! Sad we only got 10 eps and now have to wait. I thought Elsa dying fit, they couldn’t have the Duttons be the only ones that didn’t lose anything from the journey. I cried like a baby. I liked Elsa and I’m sorry we won’t see more of her. Tim and Faith killed it in these roles, I am happy to look forward to their story. I want more Sam Elliot, he was the best part of all of this. I will say it was a depressing show, beautiful but heartbreaking. How this country ever got settled is a miracle. I wouldn’t have lasted a day. I thought mostly all the settlers dying was just a gut punch but once they separated from the people who knew what they were doing you knew they were doomed. I do wonder how accurate the whole Indian guy telling Dutton “yea just go over that hill and take a left and it’s all yours”? Did any Native Americans really so easily hand over their land to white men? Nit picks aside, great show, what a ride!
  4. What did I just watch? When Vivian said Anna‘s life had been stolen from her thought I would break my television. It would’ve been one thing if Anna was living within her means and trying to secure this money to do something truly legitimate, but she wasn’t, she was using the money to fund a ridiculous lifestyle and pretend to be an heiress. What is so admirable about that? that Vivian saw her as some victims will go down as the most baffling plot line ever. If Anna had stolen $60,000 from Vivian would she have been so quick to see her as some wrong young girl just trying to make it in the big bad city. Add on top of it that they showed Anna is probably the most unlikable, hateful, manipulative human ever. When Anna told the story about being at some fabulous party and thinking it was the most wonderful thing ever until an “unattractive” person walked into the party and then she had to go find something better, pretty much summed up the awfulness that is Anna.
  5. I stand by my opinion that if Schmidt is the best resident this hospital has to offer that if I need surgery I would choose my vet’s office over Grey Sloan. Yes the show is just bad now but I’ve been watching for the last 20 years and I’m hanging on till the bitter end.
  6. And this is why the story is so interesting. If a tape have been stolen from someone, say like Jennifer Garner, people would be easily outraged at what happened to her. But you take a Pamela Anderson who has a public persona that exemplifies sex and then you get a stolen sex tape, and there’s a mental disconnect for a lot of people, “how can she put herself out there as a sex goddess and then be upset with a sex tape” (not my sentiment) but that’s where their logic is. A lot of people don’t get it is it was possible for her to have a sexual persona AND be the victim of a horrible crime of her most private moments broadcast without her consent, add in the double standard that Tommy didn’t get raked over the coals like she did, and for people like me the outrage just goes to a whole new level. I have never been a big Pam fan but this has me outraged for her and I give her credit for coming thru this with her head held high.
  7. My take on this was different. I think she knew they were NEVER going to pin anything on Hef and that she was going to take the full fall for this. She knew Hef would feed her to the wolves. I don’t think she killed herself to protect him, I think she couldn’t face she was going to go down for a long time and was very much alone at that point. It wasn’t to protect him, it was an act of defeat. Hef was scum.
  8. Wow, this is just getting darker and darker. I can’t say I’m surprised by any of it, looking back on those old interviews with Hef definitely take on a more sinister tone now. I guess I am surprised that this was all so well controlled for 50 years and that so many of these women went along into the depths. I guess that’s the nature of manipulation and abuse. I’m also not surprised that there are people that knew him and had no idea. It’s kind of like the serial killer that lives next door or is your friend. Evil people can be very good at hiding in plain sight. I think Hef was a very sick, evil man.
  9. This this this! You hit the nail on the head here. He wasn’t a wolf in sheeps clothing, he was an obvious wolf. I always thought he was gross for obvious reasons.
  10. Ugh. What a disappointment. As annoying as I found the Che character, they never explained or showed us why they would be interested in Miranda. Nothing. And no way do I believe someone with Che’s lifestyle would think Miranda was that stunning and fabulous to settle down with and be in love with. Miranda was the worst throughout and if Cynthia Nixon thought this was some empowering personal story she was telling: FAIL. It would have been a way better story if they had Miranda actually being a smart activist lawyer and Che being attracted to that, instead we got Miranda acting like a stupid 15 year old and we’re supposed to think it was so endearing to make someone, anyone let alone Che, fall for her. Why couldn’t these dummie writers just make the podcast a Sirius XM radio show? It was like they just wanted to use the word podcast because it’s so “now” with no concern that anyone who knows what a podcast is wouldn’t pick up on the discrepancy. Maybe these twenty something writers think all us old people in our 50’s don’t know what a podcast is. Charlotte didn’t bug me as much as she did others. I lost my husband at 40 and had to deal with his ashes and I can assure you that little purse was not holding a 200 pound plus man’s ashes. Completely distracting and they did it just so Carrie could use that stupid ugly purse. Overall the reboot was just a miss. I think if they hadn’t had Miranda’s story it would have been a lot more tolerable.
  11. Just finished. Well done. Chilling. I never realized the full scope of Cosbys career and the impact he had for the black community. What a shame. I think what disturbed me the most was when someone made a point of saying “ hey, he was rich, famous, powerful, he could have had willing women all day every day but he didn’t want that…..he wanted to have sex with unconscious, passed out women”, it sent a chill up my spine at the perversion involved in what he did, and did A LOT. And the power moves he made over people he didn’t drug (the one PHD guy ) showed Cosby as the ass he is. I applaud everyone involved here, it was thoughtful, thought provoking stuff presenting the question “is he a complex human with a good side and an evil side OR is he simply a purely evil guy that only did what good he did as a cover?”. I guess we’ll never know.
  12. “I’m sensing a weasel theme”, made me completely crack up. Can we just have a show with Grace cracking on Billy every week. As bad as this show is I love all of its ridiculousness as an hour I don’t have to think too hard.
  13. I am coming to dislike Amy more and more. “I can take care of two”, ummmm, your baby was crawling around with roaches and mice droppings, you are living in sloth because you are “too busy” to clean a pot with 3 month old stew in it, you’re not tending to your own health because you are too busy (or fill in excuse here), but yea, you can handle two. Such an irresponsible woman and it makes me upset to think of how those kids will grow up. Tammys story just felt like it was the end of the season and she knew she needed to do something to keep the gravy train rolling. She’s drinking and smoking and they all wonder why her lungs have given up. Is anyone surprised she had to go to the hospital and she’s lost 100 pounds in a month, that puts her at almost the magic 550, do we really believe she’s healthy enough to have surgery as the doctor promised at that weight. She has a tract in for gods sake, I can’t imagine her going under the knife. I just dont think this show should be renewed unless something drastic happens with BOTH these sisters and how they live, because it all just feels like they are scamming us at this point.
  14. I watched to the end waiting for the big twist that this was all a hallucination or she had been in a coma the whole time dreaming, but nope. None of this made any sense, and I didn’t realize it was supposed to be a dark comedy it was not, I like Kristen Bell as an old time Veronica Mars fan, but why she signed on for this dreck is the true mystery. Why have the headstones on the kids grave change from episode to episode if we were supposed to be living in reality, and the final episode with the little kid going nut bar was just kind of disturbing and not in a fun way. This does not need a second season.
  15. Watched part 1, really enjoyed. She looks great and seems like a very sweet soul. I’m wondering if they are going to address the Michael stuff head on but she seems to dance around her fathers abuse which I think years ago she came out and literally accused him of but they seemed to wash over it here. I enjoy documentaries so can’t wait for part 2, she has always been one of my favorite music artists.
  16. I’m over Jacks story being told over and over, there was no need for all his flashbacks two seasons ago. But I digress. But what bugged most was Jack opening ONE can of tomato soup and wanting us to believe it filled bowls for FIVE people. Sorry but things like that totally take me out of a show.
  17. I don’t watch this show for reality so it’s easy for me to ignore the ridiculousness that usually occurs. I adore Rob Lowe and the Breakdown bit in the car has sent me on a Tom Petty music marathon. I guess I’m shallow enough that I just enjoy an hour a week of pretty people doing nonsensical stuff, I get enough reality in my real life. And I live in Florida so the snow storm inconsistencies aren’t apparent to me.
  18. Well, Amy is quite the disappointment. That she has paid zero attention to her health or her weight loss speaks volumes. She always has an excuse for her poor eating, “we were remodeling so I couldn’t cook because we didn’t have a kitchen ”, ummmm they were still in the duplex while remodeling so that bullshit lie alone tells me who she is. My guess is within a year she will be over 300 pounds again. I get she wants to be a mom but how about being healthy to actually take care of Gage. Tammy is just a depressed, mentally challenge, mentally delayed person, I don’t think she has any chance of changing her situation. The quilt was such a beautiful gesture and I think it did get thru to Tammy and we saw how hopeless she knows she is, that really resonated.
  19. This! To me it’s worse than the bullying she endured as a kid. At least bullying is apparent what it is, it’s straightforward. This is so much worse to me as they make Tammy complicit in the ridicule under the guise that they’re all friends. They are duping her, making fun of her and they’ve gotten her to participate not understanding they aren’t laughing with her, they’re laughing at her, and she’s paying the bill to do it. IMO this is far worse than bullying. Shame on all of them.
  20. As unlikable as Tammy is (an understatement), watching those user assholes getting their 15 minutes of camera time, calling her “queen” and “partying” with her was one of the saddest things I’ve seen on this show yet. If they cared even one tiny bit about her they would not be participating in these drunken melees. It’s obvious Tammy is on a death march and she knows it. Vaping?? Good grief, she can barely breathe, and just shows she has zero regard for herself. Drinking in her condition must be one of the worst things she could do, and yea throw in some greasy pizza and my god, why not just start digging her grave? It’s frustrating to watch. Those guys should be embarrassed and once she’s dead I hope they have at least a moment of regret for contributing to it. The whole thing made my skin crawl. The talk where Tammy tells Amy she’s focusing on herself as justification for her partying shows this is just the end for her. And the previews for next week with Amy at the doctor, wanna bet he tells her she’s gaining too much weight? She looks heavier every episode.
  21. I think this ep made it clear that Tammy has completely retreated to her fantasy world. She wanted to be at that hotel so she could be online, taking selfies, communicating with only the 2D people. She has lost most all interest in real life. Very much like a drug addict. Why the family spends so much time trying to coax her and try to get her involved is perplexing at this point. All that time at the cabin talking about how to get her to participate, how to make her see how much fun she could be having. When anyone with an IQ above 10 can see Tammy is checked out, she DOES just want to be at home, online, nothing else matters to her. I do believe it is ONLY for the cameras now. The preview for next week looks sad beyond belief. Tammy thinks these feeders and fame whores really like her, not understanding she is the joke and she’s not in on it. They don’t think she’s just so much fun and want to be around her, they want their 15 minutes. And her getting drunk, add it to the list of ways she could care less about her health. I suspect once this show is done, if she’s still alive, her family will just stop interacting with her. No paycheck, no reason to tolerate this. Another reason this is just a sad situation in that EVERYONE including her family are just using her for a paycheck.
  22. I’m loving this show! I wouldn’t have made it probably one night in those conditions, just shows how soft we’ve all become. Faith Hill is really impressing me. I didn’t realize she could act. The daughter playing the piano intercut with the scenes of absolute tragedy was just gutting. I like these strong female characters and McGraw is really giving us insight into how the Duttons all just became a bunch of assholes in present day, it’s in their bloodline. Well done Taylor, I’m praying this doesn’t go downhill like Yellowstone has.
  23. I was born, raised and still live about 15 miles from Kennedy Space Center. I was a teen when Challenger happened and watched it explode live (not on tv). To this day any time I see it replayed it brings me to tears. Onto the show. Good to know Randall is as sanctimonious as ever, why the goddess that is Beth puts up with him remains the biggest mystery ever portrayed on television. I don’t care about Deja AT ALL and am upset they are goi g to waste our time in the final season on her. Kate is just the worst, I hope the actress is saving her money because work for her after this will drill down to nothing. There is nothing she relays on camera that makes her so interesting that all these men are attracted to her (and no I’m not referring to her weight), she’s just blah. Don’t get it at all. Kevin, well he’s just so pretty that it distracts me. His story is dumb, someone with his money living in a garage just stretches credibility. Mandy Moore is hitting it out of the park and is one of the only reasons I’m still watching. They have really just worn out the need for Milo. I’m glad this show is ending, it started out so good and has just delved into nothing special.
  24. Can we just get a show with Owen in the woods with Buttercup! Damn Rob Lowe just gets hotter and hotter, the cowboy hat was working for him. Yes, I’m in the shallow end of the pool but Lowes attractiveness is soooo distracting! ❤️
  25. So much to unpack. Every time Tammy said “I need to get back on track”, I screamed at the tv “when were you ever ON TRACK?”. That doctor visit was the most depressing ever. She couldn’t remember to food journal, because she was doing what? The girl literally sits and eats all day, what else is there to do? Glad the doctor finally said enough, don’t come back until something changes which means that’s the last time he will ever see Tammy. If Amy keeps eating like she did at the party she’s gonna regain everything she lost and maybe blow her new stomach out, wouldn’t it be ironic if Amy croaks before Tammy. That drink was at least 3,000 calories and you can see Amy’s justifications just keep coming, “I’m eating for two and the baby is craving food”, “I’m too busy being a mom”, “mommy deserves a treat”. Sigh. The family vacation is off to a stellar start. Tammy who was telling everyone she was gonna fly to Vegas for her BBW hookup can’t even make a car ride and a ramp into a cabin. Delusion thy name is Tammy. Good for Chris, at least he’s going in the right direction, small mercies with this family.
