Why am I not enjoying this. I hated watching Dot gaslight her husband, I really dislike Dot acting like if she just denies anything is happening that it will somehow resolve itself? I keep watching thinking things will click in for me but I’m mostly just bored.

I feel like they could have sold his story as is. Lonely widower that has tried his hand at dating since the death of his Beloved, but after not being able to find his new “one” he looks to Bachelor Nation for help. Gerry wants to find someone “in it for the right reasons”. Instead they painted him as some shy golly shucks naive man fumbling his way around. And once we caught on to the true loathario he appears to be, we hate him. He used that same line “it’s how I felt at the time” bit with Faith. His true colors have been on full display for a while.

Teresa, if you do walk down the aisle with this clown please get the most iron clad prenup possible and do not let him take out life insurance on you. And now I can’t get Kanye out of my head 🎶 “If you ain’t no punk, holla we want pre nup we want pre nup!”

Did anyone notice when Garry and Tre first sat down at the end and she was relaying what happened when he proposed that Gerry was moving his mouth kind of trying to mirror her talking. Like they had rehearsed it and he was repeating it with her. Watch it again, it’s bizarre.

Yes! Thank you for pointing that out, poor Leslie does look perpetually tired and sad. My DH died 7 years ago, I’m 56, and I know short of George Clooney ditching Amal for me that I’m not interested or equipped to date and I’m pretty happy with that. Guys like Gerry just turn me off all of it and at this age there are more like him out there than you think. Leslie girl, take your fabulous legs and go enjoy life! You aren’t unlucky on this one, you dodged a bullet.

I started out liking this guy and now I just loathe him. Poor Leslie, I know she signed up for this but Gerry is old enough to know you don’t throw around “I love you” the way he has, especially knowing you have 2 people on the hook. He just came across so slimy with his whole “at the time” bullshit excuse. You could see his fake veneer in that moment and I’m sorry but him crying about it is just his way of trying not to look as bad as he knows he looks and made it worse. Fake phony jerk. Yuk. I think he’s a bit of a con and I hope Teresa figures it out quickly and dumps him.

Latest ep. Please tell me these people had a family room we didn’t see. If not, it meant Jasmine took their family room with two couches (granted it was small) and gave them two chairs stuffed in what looked like a hallway. And don’t get me started on the weird white plastic doors in the bedroom, they didn’t provide sound insulation and they looked like patio partitions. Just odd Reno all the way around.

For all their money could Al Fayed not have hired better security? Why not drive around in a van or something where no one could see in? Or was part of it that Mou Mou wanted them seen together? And at some point who cares that they are snapping the millionth picture of you? All the crouching and putting her head down and the speeding trying to out run them? It was making me so anxious I had to take a break while watching. What a tragedy, for what, to this day it breaks my heart.

Where do these people come from? We joke at work we can’t even get employees to show up on time let alone getting them to believe the crazy on display here. Fascinating.

I believe he will pick Teresa. It won’t work out and they’ll be broken up within 6 months but it’s the logical play. Teresa will ultimately not want to move away from her family. Makes for a nice clean grown up reason to break up. No hard feelings. Leslie has made it clear she’s unlucky in love, her narrative is all broken heart and damaged from her past relationships. I think Gerry wants to sleep with her but she is not “wife” material and I think breaking up with her will be MUCH harder down the road if he gives her the final rose. No way the producers include Gerrys proclamation about her being “the one” if it was true. Its bachelor nation misdirect at its finest. Maybe I’m wrong but that’s where my money is.

I did not understand the wet room bathroom at all. So every time they use the shower water will go everywhere. A slip hazard for sure and generally just a mess, why didn’t she just do a zero entry shower with some partial glass partition. I guess grab bars aren’t needed, so ummm okay, and vessel sinks are on my list of things I just loathe. They are ugly, hard to keep clean and makes the counter space less usable. And all I could think when I saw the lift was “what happens when it breaks?” Sorry Jasmine this one was just a fail.

This did not read as a comedy. Maybe a black comedy but I didn’t find it amusing or clever in that way. I really dont know what to describe it as. I’ll keep watching to see where it goes.

Oh Faith, girl, just no. I haven’t sobbed like that since my boyfriend dumped me when I was 22. She knew this guy for all of 4 weeks, I was embarrassed for her and to me, it spoke of maybe some other deeper problems with her. I would have looked him in the eye and told him to shove his “I loved you at the time” word vomit bullshit. I started out liking Gerry, but now I think he’s a creep. I think he’s going to sleep with Leslie and pick Teresa, and then I think that will last until the PR tour is over cuz ain’t no way Teresa “I’m over at my daughters every single day” self is going to actually move away from them. It might be why he picks her, he knows it won’t work out. Then Mr. “Well look a at all of them, why wouldn’t I make out with them all” Gerry can just continue whoring his way around Indiana.

I think tonight is fantasy suites (blech), next week Women Tell All and then we have to wait a few weeks for finale.

And from the shallow end of the pool………Can someone please get Leslie a bottle of hair conditioner. It’s all I can focus on every time she’s on screen.

Do you think they fill out info about themselves like things they simply won’t do. I’m terrified of flying and it makes me sick so when I saw the helicopter I was like “nope I’m out”, like I seriously would have refused. Can they do that’s?

Who wants a house with no eating area? I get they wanted to enlarge the kitchen but to have no room for a table is baffling. How they sold this so fast must be about the neighborhood because this house was super unimpressive.

Is it just me thinking a 60 or 61 year old is too young for Gerry?. That’s a 12 or 13 year age gap. I think this is the real reason Joan sent herself home, she realized he’s just too old for her. Im 56 and cannot imagine wanting to get involved with a 68 year old?

This times 1,000!! There is no story, just weird creepy people and little snippets of “scary”. When literally no one acts like a normal person it just reads as stupid. Everyone she deals with is “off”, it’s just bad writing. And her coughing up a raccoon claw (or whatever), the writers do know the uterus isn’t connected to the stomach, right? Ugh.

First Ep was really good. Moved quickly and had all the gore, vulgarity, and action of a The Boys Ep. I’m in.

I’m 56, my husband died 7 years ago and I have not dated since. I’m not sure I could handle this being my first forey back into dating where I was literally competing with 20 other women. I’m inspired by these ladies courage to put themselves out there. And Gery seems way too nice for the brutality of what’s to come in having to get rid of these ladies one by one. I haven’t watched any Bachelor show for years but I’m in!

I was an 80’s teen so I’m loving this. Just finished ep 3, the Freedom video remains legendary. Christy has aged the best, but my gosh these women have some good genes. I remember always thinking Linda was a bit of a bitch and to this day I want Cindy’s hair. The Oprah segment clip where she objectifies Cindy was a moment. Ugh, Oprah, really bad look. If you were of this era, a really fun ride.

I read the book, so I’m just watching to see how they compare. That said , why does Murphy have to overdo and over work this stuff? It’s like he can’t just rely on a good story. Their apartment looked like a parking garage, I guess because it had to feel really cold and harsh, who would live there?. The doctors office and exam room were ridiculous. We get it Ryan, we get it, it’s all creepy and off putting. Isn’t it better to put someone in a normal surroundings to contrast with the slightly sinister things happening? No, he has to hit us over the head with “mood”. And the stunt casting is always awful, although Kim K wasn’t as bad as Kai Gerber, but not by much.

I kind of took these to try and show his mental status, the voice in his head pushing him to do bad thing’s supposedly for the higher purpose of the family legacy, and the smoke detector beep was the irritating external nagging in his head that he couldn’t escape what he was doing was bad but kept trying to ignore but it just wouldn’t go away.
