  1. I think it’s because he said that she hadn’t been genuine given “how different” she was in the fantasy suite. He implied she had played him.
  2. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the producers deciding to give me an additional 7 minutes to prepare myself for the conversation between Rachel and Zach. I mean who could possibly prepare themselves in only 8 days for what i am sure will be a highly complex and deeply moving exchange of ideas and emotions about whether or not Zach is ready or if Rachel wasn’t her “real self” in the fantasy suites. I had been clearing my schedule for sufficent meditation and reflecting on the meaning of life in preparation for rhe rose ceremony and meeting the families. But i was worried that it would be so rushed without just a little extra time.
  3. May be. Although the notion that she would go on the show with her mom is a little strange
  4. I go back and forth on this. On the one hand, you are probably right. But on the other are they going to do something that so explicitly goes against what Tolkien wrote? It’s very clear that the rings come before he does. In fact, Saruman comes first, etc. it’s one thing to reimagine it’s another to take such a canonical character and contradict his story. Unless they simply want the controversy it seems a strange thing to open yourself up to,
  5. I don’t think the problem is the two timing. It’s the “I didn’t want to tell them about my daughter because of the instability” but then I’m going to go national tv in a completely unsettled situation and talk about her all the time. I have no doubt about his love for his daughter. But the different roles she has played in his narratives makes me skeptical.
  6. For the life of me I can’t remember who anyone but Genevieve is.
  7. Because nothing says romance as much as throwing your back out.
  8. I suppose if it is Zach he could make his final choices based on whether a contesticle knows who his uncle is.
  9. I also wondered if ahe realized that she would probably have to drive him to his parents’ house because he wasn’t old enough to get a driver’s license.
  10. They did say several times that he was out. If it was covid it seemed unfair (especially since they would have had to be sure no one else was positive). Maybe they are making him swim back for hometowns.
  11. Maybe he decided he should have accepted a rose from Susie
  12. I think that it must be different for the players than for the viewers though. Any week that Biles’ sister isn’t immune she is a safety guess for anyone else. They want to get people to take shots at people they are pretty sure of but don’t know.
  13. I would have been happier to see Brittany go although now she has to win every competition or they can send her home whenever they want. My reading of it was that when Simone Biles’ sister gave Lark the clue Lark was more confident in that information than what X and Dominique were telling her. But why she wasn’t filled with rage at Brittany I don’t get.
  14. I thought it was too indicate that it was a new girlfriend. Mike had just had that conversation about never getting married again that implied he might have met someone new. I thought he just didn’t notice the phone.
  15. I thought that what was interesting about that comment was that she was talking about Marcus blaming himself for Isaac’s decision (where it does seem that Marcus had good reason for thinking that he had pushed Isaac over the edge). She would never at this point apply it to the issue you are pointing out. It will be interesting if she ever reaches that point.
  16. I admit that i missed a lot of this season but what is up with Gillian’s acting as if what Edgar did was so different than what she did? And with his abjection? If i followed correctly, her shower scene with Tommy was before his bedroom scene. Is the basic narrative that since he cheated on her after one year of their three year relationship that he is forever in the wrong? I’m confused not only by her behavior but bymthe fact that everyone on the reunion seemed to accept it.
  17. I thought it was appalling. They had all seen how he behaved at the commitment ceremony, they know that he is a public motivational speaker, and yet they all just lapped up the crock that he was spreading. And now Olivia is going to call her out next week? It’s unbelievable
  18. One of the things that worked well in Joe Millionaire was how well the two Joes got along and became friends. It actually meant that their choices were more thoughtful because they were counseling each other about what they were seeing. They each had their own choices and didn't really have to defer. Given how badly the last few seasons have been having 4 eyes may be a good thing.
  19. The other thing about Joe Millionaire is that the two of them got along better than they did with the contestants.
  20. Just for the record the 17th Century had a good deal of tolerance when it came to sexual activity. 🧐
  21. I think that this is crucial. I’m basically Team Susie on this. But i do think we have to recognize that the real bad actors here are Fliess and production. Susie behaved as you would if you were looking for a partner in real life. Clayton behaved as you would if you were the lead according to bachelor rules. I’m sure that production knew that Susie felt this way and ensured that she not only was rooming with the others but had her go last so that she would get more and more freaked out. And I’m sure that clayton believed that “everyone” (except Sean) slept with multiple people and that was just never discussed. Also if you consider how quickly production excised Shanae and Sarah when they wanted a new narrative you can see how this all worked out. I thought at first that production was forcing him to keep Shanae but no. He really just wanted to until they decided she had to go and told him what she was really on about. Then they let Mara serve her purpose of providing the needed bit of seasonal bitterness and then dumped Sarah. Since he had his eye on Susie from the beginning they provided the necessary drama to get us to the final crisis. and then the world of the bachelor and the world of real life crashed into each other for THE MOST DRAMATIC FINALE EVER!
