  1. I think that Jenna Ortega is hosting SNL this week
  2. She is too good for Zach. She should be the next bachelorette.
  3. I think that they go on “Love is Blind” over on netflix.
  4. That’s probably more talking than the do on one on one dates! Maybe Jess shouldn’t have been so upset 🤔
  5. Although Zach will always welcome a chance to kiss almost anyone I don't actually think he likes Kat that much. I thought he was just pleased that someone ran after him.
  6. Going to sleep during the episode shows a great deal of wisdom. I agree that Brooklyn went on too long but I don't think that she was motivated by jealousy etc. I have a feeling that Kat probably isn't all that kind. None of the other "ladies" disagreed with Brooklyn or tried to encourage or provide sympathy to Kat. There was a clear difference in maturity between the way that Brooklyn and Ariel went about chastising Kat but Ariel certainly was just as hard on her as Brooklyn was and more devastating in the way she simply told her off. If this was the case of some longstanding behavior by Brooklyn or completely shocking on the part of Kat I imagine the reaction from the others would have been different. And Kat spent the whole date worried that other people (mostly but not entirely Brooklyn) were going to complain to the Z-Man.
  7. I can understand how, if in fact the one on ones aren’t his choice, he would be frustrated. But if he knows this and she doesn’t then his sudden switch is still very odd. There is a disconnect based on knowledge and that’s her fault? It’s a bad look.
  8. I don’t think I could take Christina, It would be similar to having Demi but with a kid. I think Ariel would be good. She seems very much in control of herself and strong enough to handle the 30 toddlers she would have to choose from. She’s also been pretty nice to everyone and has a sense of humor.
  9. Maybe she was thinking she is Alice in Wonderland
  10. Maybe she could be the bachelorette when they finally do the senior bachelorette? Greer was trying to show she understood how frustrating it was for the Z-man to get Covid by talking about how she had gotten Covid when she was trying to finish her sales quarter successfully. The Z-man got all outraged and snippy that she would compare her sales job to his finding his best friend, love of his life, wife for ever and ever, etc.
  11. I’m not a big fan of television Greer but I did think it was very interesting that production only showed her in the pub during credits. She was quite jolly and fun in that. But if you watched only the main show you would think that her tears probably caused the Thames to flood.
  12. I was certainly impressed by Gabi’s clear gloating over the other woman not being designed to make them feel inferior. She also has a bridge to sell to the other women.
  13. I think Charles the Second not Charles the Third.
  14. The problem here is that the article ignores the fact that the show’s ratings were in decline with CH. it has little to do with his firing. It has to do with the fact that it has become so repetitive and predictable that it is boring. It had declined according to the article from over 20m to over 5 with CH. it’s not the host.
  15. Not "really mean," but bare steps away. She's a practiced manipulator and the type that plays the victim I think she could have survived except for her reaction to Charity’s rose. That indicated a genuine indifference to the feelings of others. Of course she was supposed to pretend to be happy for Charity—just like all the rest of them pretended. But she couldn’t muster that simple sociability. There was no way he could ignore that.
  16. I thought this was pretty fabulous honestly. The casting was great with the exception of Morticia and Gomez. And i thought the characters were great with the exception of Morticia and Gomez. And i think that was the most interesting Thing i have ever seen. Jenna Ortega was terrific as everyone says. I’d watch her in almost anything. But i also thought Wednesday was well written. She really didn’t understand the rules of the game but was so sharp that she was able to cut herself through. Sure it was a bit tropey but what the hell. And I didn’t really get Harry Potter vibes. This was a darker version of high school is Hell from Buffy. But in fact Wednesday wasn’t a chosen one—she was instead manipulated even before she got there and triumphed only because of her frenemies and because she didn’t care who got in her way. And a good deal of it was funny. the other thing is that I didn’t mind Fred Armison in a role. That’s a first.
  17. I think Ellie Bamber may have red hair in real life. Maybe it will change.
  18. My recollection was that was a preemptive rejection on his part. She had shown that she was tuning him out and he didn't want to give her the chance to say no. It's interesting (although possibly producer shenanigans) that while Bartise kept going on and on about Raven afterwards, she doesn't seem to have given him a second thought.
  19. I'm not sure how to adjudicate the "you can't book"/"are you bi-polar" dispute but clearly these two should not get married. Even if they were not fighting there is too much baggage there. On Cole's side I would want to meet the parents (no not the movie). I think that he is trying but he has no real sense of how what he does effects others and I wonder where that comes from. But Zanab is just as bad. She lost me at the picking out the dress episode. There, instead of joining in the festivities and enjoying the fact that her step-mother (or aunt I was never sure) was there for her as she has been for years, it became about her mother not being there. I get that. But that can't be the only thing and she often reverts to the default depressed mode. and then she is upset. So he has little emotional sensitivity and she has little capacity to let go of things. It's the Titanic waiting to happen.
  20. I actually wonder if this show hasn’t finally collapsed under the weight of its own contradictions. They tried to create a no holds barred version of the mothership but it couldn’t work for as long. The year that they realized that they had to cut back on drinking was the sign. All the alcohol helps the producers on the main show because it leads to conflict with the contestants; in BIP it led to harrasment and violence. Then you get the constant recycling of people who already recycle themselves elsewhere in Bachelor Nation. Was their a single moment of spontaneity this season—with the possibility exception of Lace’s ill fated trip to find Rodney? And even that was probably producer driven. When you think that people want to listen to Wells’ Story Time you know you are in trouble.
  21. TPTB clearly need to be reminded of the old wisdom that if you draw from the wells too much it will run out of water. What i really don’t understand about these contestants is that they all know what happens in editing. Yet they still behave as if what happens in paradise stays in paradise. It’s not just Kate who now couldn’t get cast as Cruella Deville. But couldn’t Shanae have told Toddler1 that she really just wanted to hang out? Did Johnny really need to make absolutely no sense on camera? I’m no fan of Victoria but wouldn’t you try to get Han Solo to get you off the planet if you were faced with that? i think Jesse is different than CH because he isn’t a producer. CH had a lot of power. Jesse has to watch Wells make us all hope for a power outage.
