  1. At my highest I weighed 315 lbs. Thank goodness I am nowhere near that now due to some hard work and perseverance (try it Whtiney, you will feel so much better). But when I was 315 lbs. I could barely cut my toenails. I could do it, but only with a great deal of effort and manipulation in order to reach my feet. At 380 lbs (or whatever weight she is). there is no way she could reach those toes.
  2. I watched that episode. Words fail me.....They want to get her to 1000 lbs so she will be immobile? And she claims she is perfectly healthy. I had no idea such a fetish existed. Wish I still didn't know.
  3. My unpopular opinion is that I don't like the sex scenes. It is one thing to read them in the book but entirely another (for me anyway) to watch two naked people going at it on the screen. I don't care how well they are done, how great the chemistry is, I still feel like I am watching an x rated film. My boyfriend calls it "scottish porn". I leave the room or close my eyes when I know one of those scenes is coming up. I sure wish I could relax and enjoy them but I have visions of my dear late father walking in the room and throwing the tv out the window. Which he would do in real life if he was still here and was in my living room when one of those scenes was on. Love the show over all, just wish the sex wasn't quite so explicit.
  4. With the episode last weekend with the bride wanting a modest dress out of respect for her grandfather that is what the consultants did. They put her in a strapless dress with a lacy bolero with long sleeves over it. ???? Don't they have ANY dresses that have long sleeves? It is just the same stuff week after week. I got my hopes up when the bride specifically mentioned a modest dress but my hopes were dashed almost immediately.
  5. I watched that same episode with the bride whose parents were in Indonesia. They kept telling her they wanted her to be move covered up and yet she still kept coming out in strapless etc dresses. The consultants didn't seem to be attempting to suggest something more modest. In addition, another episode I saw last weekend had a bride who specifically said she wanted something more modest out of respect for her late grandfather . Again out come the strapless dresses. I am so sick of them. Doesn't Kleinfeld's have anything other than strapless? The show is getting boring because everything is strapless and or Pnina's monstrosities.
  6. Never Fear! It is returning September 19, 2017.
  7. Thank you Grashka! Those trailers go by so fast. Great trailer.
  8. I sure hope you are right because I was really ticked off when I watched that trailer and saw that scene. It makes sense that Jenny would pretend to give him up as it keeps his whole recapture simpler. Can you explain where we saw Geneva in the trailer? I didn't notice her and I would like to get a look!
  9. You make a good point but it is scary that there are so many clueless women out there who think they look amazing in dresses that only make them look like their boobs are falling out of the dress, make them look like they are stuffed in the dress, or they are showing off far too much of body parts that don't need to be seen.
  10. I am not sure how much longer I can stomach this show. Everything!!! is strapless, or mermaid. Strapless is such a hard dress to carry off imho. Yet broad shouldered brides, busty brides, skinny as a rail brides, chubby brides, they all seem to want strapless. And everyone tells them how beautiful they look. For once I would like to see some helpful suggestions made to steer the bride in a more flattering direction. If the consultant doesn't say something than someone in the huge entourage they always bring along should speak up. I have always believed that every bride is beautiful on their wedding day but this show is beginning to change my mind.
  11. Thank you Vadare for sharing your story and kudos to you getting started on your weight loss. I have lost a fair amount of weight (very slowly) over the last couple of years and I can tell you it feels so good to walk and climb stairs without being winded. I have a saying (I think from weight watchers) on my fridge: "nothing tastes as good as thin feels". So good luck on your weight loss and keep up the good work!
  12. I am hoping and praying that Jill will have an uneventful labor and delivery. However if she does have one that is only going to reinforce in her mind that God is indeed blessing her and she will go right ahead and have more blessings. Each one putting her at more and more risk of a uterine rupture (Thank you Doodlebug for explaining what is involved in one) . I think it is only a matter of time before something catastrophic happens to her in childbirth. I hope I am wrong.
  13. What would be the primary danger of a VBAC? A uterine rupture?? Would they even be able to get her to the hospital in time?? I am getting more and more concerned the closer we get to her presumed due date. I do believe God answers prayers but I am also a strong proponent of God helps those who help themselves. Get yourself to a hospital Jill.
  14. Michelle (and all the Duggar married girls have been extraordinarily lucky so far with their births (with the exception of Josie). Their luck is due to run out I fear. I am a fellow Christian (Catholic however, so they probably consider me a heathen) and I look upon all the prenatal care, hospital care, etc. as blessings from God to help women give birth safely. If she was in the backwoods somewhere then fine, give birth without a doctor or a properly educated midwife in attendance, but for goodness sake she is living in a town with hospital care and real doctors and or midwifes available. Why not avail yourself of their services? If she is too deluded to do so then Derrick should certainly see that she does. Does he want to become a single father?? Do they want a potentially severely handicapped child born to them? I am all for trusting God but for goodness sake I think he expects you to use the advanced medical care available to us now.
  15. If I remember correctly some of Michelle's births (besides Josie) were hospital births. So why this obsession among the daughters (and Anna) for home births? Are they trying to one up Michelle? And in this day and age I cannot believe they are apparently not getting any prenatal care (or minimal care at best). Jill, as a "midwife" should know how important that is. If she had any kind of proper midwife training she would know the risks involved with a VBAC. I pray for Jill and Samuel Scott every day for a safe delivery and healthy baby and it horrifies me that they are so stupid to put her and the baby's life at risk like this.
  16. That honeymoon story was appalling.....Although I shouldn't be surprised. Anyone who believes in beating babies would have no problem treating his wife like that on their honeymoon.
  17. Watching this show has become my guilty pleasure but Martina was just too much. The massive boobs were bad enough but now she has now has darkened her skin and kept the bleach blonde hair...not a good look despite what she says. So sad the damage she is doing to her body. It amazes me how all these people come to the doctors on Botched and have the $$ for cosmetic procedures. I can understand if there is a deformity but $$$ just for bigger breasts?? Just very sad.
  18. Is she truly so delusional that she thinks that top fits? Are her followers so delusional that they will buy into that line of thinking and purchase this horrendous top? If I was going to be pushing a line of clothing I sure as heck would make sure it was made to match the description and I would not be modeling something that didn't fit me and pretend that it was supposed to be that way. Reminds me of the emperor's new clothes fable. He got called out by one of his subjects and hopefully Whitney will too.
  19. There was just an article about Roxanne Gay in People magazine. She would have been a much better choice for this show imho. She actually has accomplishments; she is honest about how she gained weight and doesn't blame a disease for her weight gain. She sounds like a woman with true achievements in the face of adversity, one that actually has a life that would be interesting viewing. Unfortunately we have to settle for Whitney.
  20. I just saw James's episode again the other day. Unfortunately for him he does deserve the worst episode award . I had forgotten about the end of the show when he was "sitting up". His sitting up consisted of one physical therapist behind him holding him in an upright position and the other one pulling on his arm for all he was worth in order to hold James in the upright opinion. I cannot understand how someone can continue to live in such a condition that they cannot even sit up.
  21. As far as Zach's seeing a neurologist he could be seeing (or return to see) the same one he saw when he was younger. I am a 65 year old with congenital heart defects. Life long heart issues and when my latest problems popped up my cardiologist sent me to a pediatric cardiologist who was more familiar with treating congenital heart defects. There are also cardiologists who specifically treat adults with congenital heart defects (but none in my city so I am seeing a pediatric cardiologist) so I am thinking that neurologists may have the same type of specialties.
  22. He says his character has been damaged forever?? His character is damaged because of HIS behavior. How arrogant of him to try and get some benefit from this lawsuit. I think he is in for a surprise if he thinks anyone outside of his parents will support him in his efforts.
  23. I recently bought a Coach bag at my local Goodwill store. $39.00. Only thing wrong with it was a stain on the interior lining. It was a small stain and I wouldn't expect anyone besides me to see it as it was on the inside in a corner. I have always wanted a Coach bag but couldn't justify paying full price. I will be shopping at Goodwill again lol.
  24. I just saw a clip of that last night on one of the entertainment shows. Our favorite fat & Fabulous person was the first person I thought of when I saw it. Shouldn't be too long before we see her commenting on it.
  25. I have lost 104 lbs (and counting!) the old fashioned way, and I dreaded losing too much weight in my face and looking way older. I am 65 but have been frequently told I look younger. While my face is thinner I have not gained a lot of wrinkles in my face. I am guessing because I took 2 1/2 years to lose that weight so maybe the gradual weight loss made a difference. I know weight loss surgery works for some people but I too know people who had the surgery and put it all back and then some. This surgery seems like an easy fix to some of these patients and major life style changes still have to be made or you end up exactly where you were before. So sad to go through all that and end up back where you started.
