The Lonely Js Club: James, Jackson & Johannah
NewDigs replied to SpaghettiTuesdays's topic in Counting On
Except that any shade tree mechanic can now buy those diagnostic device thingies at Advanced Auto et al. No experience necessary. Throw in a Chiltons or Haynes guide and they're off and running. Maybe not running well... -
I guess 'cuz nothing says "God's word through Jesus and Scripture" quite like a public humiliation. Onward Christian Soldiers!

Looking through those questions I was reminded of the Scientology "confess your sins" auditing program. All the better for blackmailing someone who wants to exit the program.

The Lonely Js Club: James, Jackson & Johannah

I'm not sure but I'm going to guess that the Duggar car lot is stocked with a lot of auction cars. Many used car lots do that, even taking slow sellers back and reauctioning them. Many auctioned cars are used cars that dealers take as trade ins. You usually have to be a dealer of some kind to participate. That said, buy a Duggared car? No way! -
If they find themselves by a Dollar Tree all of their ceramic/glass/etc. can be had for $1. each. After seeing the insides of the Binessa and Dullard households I wouldn't trust anything to be cleaned well, especially plastic. Plastic also gets "filmy" and icky with use. But that might not bother them.

I thought the front of it veered very closely to the uni-boob look Ken had been so criticized for. That inside out fire hose project that they loved, except for the uni-boob bodice halter thing. Not a word about that to Sam.

That was awful. And I ain't Suzy Homemaker by any stretch. I wanted to think some of that was what fell through the ceiling during the light installation but that screencap belies that! I don't know how they moved through Binessa's house what wih all of the boxes and piles of whoknowswhat (crap). Haven't they heard? Cleanliness is next to Godliness? It even says so in Leviticus! Isn't that one of their most favoritest books?

First off: FREE JANA!! That was a really long 43 minutes. I had some spare time to kill but hadn't planned on killing brain cells at the same time. Bin is really, dim? I can only hope he's more articulate when he puts fingers to keyboard for those on-line classes. I can't imagine why Jessa wanted more light to illuminate that house that looks messier and dirtier than a dorm room. I thought I was bad! And they sure do love those car lot triangular banners! Sierra's were actually up to remind her, I guess, to be kind. If you need to be reminded..... just sayin'. They need to stop referring to the people their mission is trying to help as "those" people. And why are so many backpacks needed? What am I missing? Next week, the tree house and the non-stop hilarity ensues, yawn. Someone needs to tell them what a real treehouse is. You climb up into one. Well, at least they didn't burn down Jessa's house.

Bolding mine. And I'm going to guess that when we see 5 of them gathered around a restaurant table having sandwiches and ice cream and bevs they will spend $100. Or more

I agree with all who want to see what the original fabric-pickin' designer had planned for some of those fabrics. Alyssa's runway look was veering into Padma-style boobage baring. And she often sounds so breathy. Maybe her clothes are too tight. Won't miss Valerie, won't miss her nosering. Wasn't crazy about Dom's. Once I heard beach towel I also saw circus tent and candy store awning. edit 'cuz I accidentally hit "Reply" too soon.

Ew. I didn't even think of it as a memorial. Bad taste indeed!
-
I think that's a big misunderstatement. A JimBoob altar? No words. At this time.
-
Bolding mine. He didn't do himself any favors by appearing. Especially with that bleeped TH. Maybe I'm misremembering but he seemed kind of disconnected and angry through almost the whole show.Amar, imho, carried himself much better. Dare I say, more professionally?

Me too.But part of me thinks their affect could be duplicated with cast-off edited clips. It was a dark and difficult time. Lather, rinse, repeat.

MSNBC: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (Vaulted)
NewDigs replied to Jaded's topic in Political Network Talk
Bolding mine. Wow! You mean Morning Joe handled it better? Kind of.They had Keith Ellison on this morning and he spoke of some Oslo officials who had recently visited Mpls. to watch and learn how that population has managed to assimilate Somalis as well as they have. Hopefully O'Donnell was watching. And learning from MJ? Say it isn't so! I haven't seen BW at all today. Hmm. -
Josh & Anna Smuggar: A Series of Unfortunate Events
NewDigs replied to maraleia's topic in Counting On
I think Anna already used what she considers her power. She lost weight, put on a bit more make-up and job done! -
Who gets the kids?Carried this comment over from the ID thread: Bolding mine.

I think Jessa has decided to go with that wardrobe for little Spurge. I think he might be in suits by the time he takes his first steps. The Dullards' missioncation is over? Does anyone keep actual conversion numbers? My first guess would be zero, zip, zilch. But, hey! They got some good IG pix!

Why aren't flips consided Nike? They make exceptions for cheap? Back and foot problems can be quite pricey. And there are companies that make cute wood clogs but the prices might give Mechelle agita. Wonder where she gets hers? Those suckers ain't cheap. Orthodontia isn't cheap either. These freaks have a very fluid relationship with budgeting.

His son, A J Croce, is no slouch either. Call me a Luddite but I don't want to talk to my tablet or computer etc. Are there any disembodied male helpers? And I love the Windows 10 (?) commercial with the bugs and pedes! Love it! Now, I don't want them crawling on me but some of them are little works of art. imho

Seems like the only way to keep 'em straight is to title threads with perp and victim names. I never know where to look for stuff and info seems to become fragmented going from forum to forum and thread to thread. And when the three main crime shows do the same crime? Impossible.

Food Network and Cooking Channel: One is about food
NewDigs replied to HyeChaps's topic in Network Talk
Well, my 92 year old mom will like that. I doubt that's the audience they're shooting for. -

Yolanda Hadid: My Love, My Lemons, My Lyme Disease.
NewDigs replied to Lisin's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
OMG! There are comments! And they seem to like her? One compared her struggles to Jacob's struggle with the Lord?? I thought for a moment I was in a Duggar thread. I don't know if my blood pressure can take much more. She said her helpers left because they didn't like living in Provence? Bitch, please... Look in the fucking mirror. GAH!
