  1. That makes sense. More sense than him deciding to do it himself. Because...he's too much of a doofus to worry about external appearances.
  2. Small breasted and I love it. Large ones, either natural or surgically enhanced make the person look overweight even if they aren't IRL. Running and jogging is certainly easier with smaller ones. There seem to be a lot of women who have down-sized - Kendra to name one.
  3. How strange. I wonder who encouraged him to do that. Couldn't be his father because he didn't.
  4. So...about 1000 years ago I took my VCR for repair to a guys house in backwoods Maine. He had an Emmy statuette on his work table. Turns out he won some kind of technical award and then had to buy the statuette if he wanted it. He actually had won several over the years but only paid for one. I think it was in the region of $130 but, as I said, it was a very long time ago.
  5. Sorry for misremembering but that trip to Las Vegas she got naked and went into the infinity pool. In an earlier episode she flashed the window washer in LV and, if memory serves, she flashed some workers on the train tracks in addition to flashing some people in Paris.
  6. I totally agree with whomever said that Ella reminded them of Whitney Way Thore. Both are coddled, entitled, overgrown toddlers. When she was wearing the glasses with the black rims she even resembled WWT.
  7. Yaas. It appeared to me that she had at least two different wigs when visiting Hamza, Mother Hamza, and sister Hamza.. To my eye there were different lengths of ombre (roots) visible in the scenes.
  8. I saw two similar articles on my Yahoo feed. Disappointed that there wasn't anything new. Perhaps that is coming and will explain the cancellation of Bringing Up Bates. I was disappointed to not see any coverage of Dimbulb and Jchelle selling off part of the compound to ostensibly pay for legal fees.
  9. YES! I've even used that in rl on occasion. Can't remember if it was from TWOP or alt/showbiz/gossip on usenet. The beauty of those is that they seemed to occur organically and because they were so perfect they were embraced and used regularly as opposed to some deliberate malapropisms that some influencers introduce on sm to try to make them "a thing". I don't know who described Memphis' attempts at communicating as "caveman talk" but I think it's perfect, however, I hope she is the last person to do it so it won't be necessary. Now that I think about it I wonder if Memphis used "caveman talk" with her kids and if they speak that way as well.
  10. Another great memory of a distant time. Along with two from the early days of usnet, When someone passes on they are either in the stereo cabinet referencing the final resting place of a departed (perhaps taxidermied) pet, or, no longer shopping the Pig e.g. Piggly Wiggly supermarket. I can't remember my screen name from that era but it's good to know there are also former TWOPers here.
  11. Incoming unpopular opinion alert...I've watched both seasons and am here to say that I never liked Jerry at all. He seemed like a poseur from the beginning. Not particularly good at cheering but had realized that acting supportive and nice would get him past the obstacle of his non-athleticism. His act turned me off from the beginning and since he persisted he got a position on mat. It's great to be enthusiastic but he was so over the top that seemed to be all he had to offer. So many people bought his act, Monica and Ellen Degeneres to name two. And he was rewarded for his fakery. La'darius, on the other hand was labelled by Monica as being "too much" but he was a superb athlete and his antics early in season 1 seemed to signal genuine joy. Yeah, in season 2 the reunion and prolonged hugging with Monica were way too much (boundaries?) and his long justifications of walking away and blaming everyone else were obnoxious and indicated that he is the kind of guy who thinks he is never wrong, but he did have the talent. Back when Ali was Cassius Clay and a real loud-mouthed self promoter my father who usually didn't like showboating, gave him a pass because he backed up his boasts with action and that is how I view La'darius. OK fellow Primetimers flame away.
  12. I am not convinced that she could cultivate a true friendship with someone who is not transgender or and advocate for it. She has been a spokesperson and minor celebrity for so long that I am not sure she understands the give and take of normal friendships. Should this friend be transgender, Jazz's fame as spokesperson would place her in a superior position and thus, a hindrance to true friendship.
  13. Or, she could be expressing her usual pre-adolescent oppositional self.
  14. Absolutely! I think she was fooled right up until just before the trip to Paris and that she became aware of Sarah around that time. Her very poor acting abilities are showcased at the Eiffel Tower when she accepted his fake proposal. Furthermore, Ryan and Todd's reactions indicate that they had been unaware of that plot line. There is no way that Ryan would have been interested in dating her although they had met on a dating app. There are instances of him looking or acting disgusted by her. One was her twerking in the background when he was videoing one of the exercises.
  15. Gold, pure gold! For some reason I am fascinated by instances when reality diverges from the story line. E.g. the puddles of water at the Louvre in the two pictures, one from Twit and one from someone else's sm. It is the unscripted nuances, reactions, and details which make it interesting. Mamadrama you are quite the detective.
  16. Yeah, you really should watch the entire episode. The Big Girls Dance Class did have an opportunity to do a dance. Our attention loving girl got out of her scooter and tried to do the choreography but since she hadn't practiced she screwed it up for the rest of them. I also seem to recall that there might have been an award given and Twit was disappointed that they hadn't won.
  17. Fasting sometimes is a good way to learn what real hunger is and also to appreciate food as fuel not as entertainment.
  18. Mamadrama, the dialogue that you posted was the only enjoyable thing about this last (hopefully the final) episode. Most of us have family members who know that we watch yet can't bring themselves to join us. You are so fortunate to have a daughter who gets the snark.
  19. I believe that Buddy was a friend of one of Twit's boyfriends in High School. There is a video somewhere on the web of him when he was younger, slimmer, and had more hair. He was in a band and the group of them went to some kind of restaurant that had huge multi-meat sandwiches which were free if someone could eat it within the allotted time. With his band mates looking on and encouraging him he tried but failed. So, if he had been a fairly attractive rock and roller I could see her crushing on him. Yes, she does drink and may do some other kind of mood enhancement - judging from the short video she posted with Tal from her closet early on. It was before he became sober and they were both under the influence of something and fully or partially nude. (This may have been the catalyst for him to get sober.) BTW 3girlsforus, I'm sure it was your spell checker but Twit had proudly proclaimed that she and Buddy had "crossed the FLESHhold" because she is so clever and quirky. Which in my mind makes her even more obnoxious. And with that, I'll just say...Beee!
  20. If she has been studying French all this time, especially conversational French, you would think that she would know how to pronounce "sans" by now! You can't convince me she wouldn't take the opportunity to use her newly acquired french accent because, well she has bragged about being able to ski a double black diamond slope, is a very strong swimmer, and can execute an arabesque.
  21. Anthony Head in Little Britain. A very funny sketch comedy show which could never be green lit today.
  22. It is unquestionable that she is full of rage, but I think alcohol might be lowering her already tenuous control of herself. Her facade of being a civilized human being began slipping a long time ago. I've said it before, but she was hardly a slim dancer in high school. She cropped the prom picture in the pink dress to avoid showing the bulges. The picture with Todd and the poster are hiding her figure. I would guess that there aren't any other pictures that she would share when she does not appear to be overweight. (Other than the one wearing casual clothes and resting her elbows on the fireplace mantle. That one does meet my definition of "thin" and that one alone.
  23. Just watched the episode. OMG the constant caterwauling on the boat along with the inane conversation was annoying, to say the least. Yeah, she declares that she is "in love" with the blur. And, once again, she takes the opportunity to dis her mother by announcing that Babs couldn't shuck oysters very well due to "stroke hand". Her team was working with a handicap, "It's not fair" wah, wah, wah. And, of course she couldn't resist the sexual innuendo. All the lame jokes with words ending in uck and ucking. And then there was the fakery and filler surrounding her dental problem. Are we to believe that she took the rental car and disappeared to a dentist in Ellsworth without telling the rest of her family when there had been an activity scheduled? And again with the extended lower lip to signal her sadness, and Heather cradling her head to her breast to comfort her like a 3 year old. Every time someone says that she is a trained actress I am reminded how limited her range is. OTOH Jason Sudekis showed a believable range of emotions on Ted Lasso and I found myself appreciating good acting. This is not a comment on her size, but when they showed a recap of last week's episode with a shot of the group clustering around her on Cadillac Mtn. (probably the time Ashley was wiping away Twit's tears) I was reminded of a scene from Gorillas in the Mist.
  24. The fact that she once had that same picture of her shirtless father on the ceiling over her bed, and the fact that she used the same one for the towel, AND that she described it as "racy" tells us a lot. I also saw some microagression with her mother on the boat. Just as I suspected, she would be driven to the top of Cadillac Mtn. and then filmed climbing up a random boulder to make it appear that she had actually hiked. I am disappointed that they didn't walk out to Bar Island and get stuck in the sand and/or stranded by the rising tide.
