  1. I don't follow these two morons on sm however, have they ever mentioned that they even HAVE health insurance? I know they continue to seek medical attention and that the physicians haven't cut them off but perhaps they are on some sort of payment plan and making very low payments. Or, even worse, Carlin is following her father's strategy of paying for medical care.
  2. When the news first came out everyone thought the half-sibling was a son. I remember some people commenting that they wished it had been a sister, a thin, beautiful, accomplished, sister.
  3. It has been a while since I saw the episode where either Babs or Whitney referred to the mother of the half-sister by name. Although, there was no mention of a child. It might have been during the Hawaii episode where Babs wishes to not meet her during the trip were stated. Let's not forget that Babs was previously married before she married Glenn. In other words, they both had prior lives which they wanted to keep in the past.
  4. Word has it that it was when he was stationed in Japan and learned of it when he had returned home.
  5. Actually, several years ago on one of the original Below Deck franchises a male deck hand posted something racist/misogynistic to his social media after the season had been taped. Production recut the footage and he was disappeared although he remained onboard. I can't remember if there was an explanation or not.
  6. Maybe to make it more difficult to provide top quality service so there will be more things for the guests to dislike? Unscripted drama ensues without need for writers.
  7. Tubi TV (which is totally free) has the first nine seasons available. Ava and pageant Dad David were in one of the first episodes of season one - when she was a baby. David carried her on stage and she was sleeping through the whole thing.
  8. I can't believe I'm saying this but I think I saw a bucket of freeze dried meals in the grocery section (not camping) at a rural Super-Walmart. It is in a town that is well known for attracting back woods type folks so there are probably a lot of preppers within driving distance. Will have to take a photo of the "survival bucket" next time I see it.
  9. I wonder if the timing for Evan to pick up his new Tesla was to show off to Travis? "Neener, neener..mine is newer than yours."
  10. June 29, 6:05 a.m. Did Mika really say (not read) but say syNchofants?
  11. Also about accents. Born in Northern N.J. and moved to England for a year with my family when in 5th grade. I did not want to go, and I was determined to not speak with a British accent. Refused to say "can't" the way the general populace did. Returned home and all my friends said they loved my British accent. Couldn't believe I had picked it up against my will - then I heard an audio tape.😀
  12. Only after buying and paying for shipping. I know, assuming they aren't repeat buyers. The boutique has very nice shipping labels, perhaps they also sprung for BSB labels to be sewn in at place of manufacture.
  13. Perhaps the people who opt for buying from the BSB rather than online mistakenly think they are "buying American".
  14. I almost think she is doing it to feel "fancy".
  15. It's "imporDant" that always gets me. I think it is only KJ who says it that way. Even if it's not, it is her saying it that makes me crazy/
  16. I recently watched a program about animal criminals. The bear that broke into a multi-million dollar house in Aspen and ate almost everything in the refrigerator left the inexpensive ice cream untouched. Surely the sight of smoke rising in the middle of an uninhabited area in winter would have indicated that there was life below?
  17. Always had a soft spot in my heart for the guy. Saw him skiing a few times at Aspen I especially liked him because he was waiting in the regular lift line mid way up Ajax. Another time he walked by and our eyes connected and we both smiled at each other.
  18. I once read that stubbing one's toes on furniture while barefoot often results in a broken toe. I've done it multiple times and carried on. Once I broke a bone in one foot while jumping around barefoot and landing full force on the side of my foot. After X-rays my physician told me to put on my hiking boot, stay off it and use crutches for a few weeks. During times when one of my bones was healing from a break I slept a LOT. If Carlin continues her frenetic pace I will begin to suspect that she does not have a broken bone.
  19. Yes, the meal at the fort looked nice (although quite a climb for all concerned). I'm thinking of the wedding (or vow renewal) on a beach which was crawling with people in bathing suits and others in boats who weren't exactly silent observers. Another beach picnic with a public park in the background comes to mind. I think that is the one with dogs and kids on horseback no more than 50 feet away. I think there were some comments about that.
  20. I don't know about those water slides. How many times do the guests slide down, climb out, go back up and do it again? I see it as a one and done situation which has taken a whole lot of time and effort to set up and then put away. As far as the beach picnics go, the luxury yacht is a means to get away from every day life. Why would anyone want to go to a beach which might be inhabited by locals, other tourists and domestic animals? I thought the primary was obnoxious but his son seemed very polite and appreciative. And, Gary's act is wearing thin. I could understand why he was invited to dine with the primary since Jake seemed to like him.
  21. Acknowledging that stereotypes are not always accurate and aren't usually a good idea, however there is a player from the Netherlands on Ted Lasso who frequently speaks his mind in a way that may be seen as insulting. Very similar to many of Sheldon's comments to friends and family. The other's accept it and explain it as a characteristic of the Dutch. I think initial contacts with Sheldon will be seen in the same way - until his real selfishness becomes apparent.
  22. What do you all think of Steve Paterson? I listen to his radio show and he will be on the show tomorrow. I thought that he might have been considered for the job. .When he has gone to NYC in the past Gelman has taken him out to dinner. He has experience since he was on similar show for several years in Minnesota.
  23. I was in the audience on two occasions when Regis was still there. I haven't watched the show regularly but, when Mark filled in I found the show to be lackluster. The fun of the early shows with Regis was hearing of his misadventures (showing up at Martha Stewart's Christmas party a day early. Regis and Joy were dressed to the nines.) What can Mark bring to the conversation day after day since they are living the same reality. Not enjoyable when bf and I argue, same for Kelly and Mark. To his credit he has managed the millions that Kelly earned very well. they have bought and sold so many great properties over the years. I think he was an econ major at Notre Dame.
